Just wanted to remind everybody that today is the last day of the "humanitarian pause" in gaza. Starting from tomorrow Tuesday 7:00am, Israel will go back to carpet bombing gaza.
We need a permanent ceasefire. Keep speaking up!

how "human animals" treat hostages
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
how "civilized democratic human beings" treat "prisoners" and "under 18s"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
EDIT: someone told me to add this context. the lady on the left is Israa Jaabis, she was charged with "terrorist bombing" in 2015 after her car caught on fire and blew up as a result of an electric malfunction. at the time of the incident the officers on the scene neglected to offer her immediate medical support which exacerbated her conditions. oppression isn't always direct, a lot of times it is through neglecting the oppressed or treating them as lesser
don't stop talking about palestine

I need people to understand that no one has a right to dictate what should and shouldn't happen in Palestine right now or in the future, except Palestinians. Literally. No one has the right to tell them if a 2-state solution is the best option, if a diplomatic resolution is, or if it's a complete dismantling and deconstruction of the entire israeli govt, and assimilating israelis under a Palestinian govt.
So, if you have an opinion about the solution, take a second and try to remember: the land isn't yours, and the bloodshed isn't yours. Remember that you did not just watch your home get carpet bombed, your loved ones massacred or imprisoned for no reason. You did not watch your land get annexed. You did not witness the trauma in your children’s eyes and that feeling of dread because you know that they might be dead in the next few hours. You did not hear the screams and cries of people under the rubble begging for help. You did not watch your school being bombed to pieces and people’s limbs on the street. You didn’t have to live through the reality that absolutely not a single person in authority did ANYTHING to help except watch you be murdered live on their pretty little screens while they tweeted about it. Remember that, and then proceed to shut the fuck up and listen to Palestinian’s voices.

Since I've seen a number of people shocked about the Palestinian kids kept in Israeli prisons, here's more. I suggest you read about it more and spread the truth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ahmad manasra was arrested in 2015, after he was run over by Israeli soldiers and his cousin who was walking with him killed. He has been kept in solitary confinement since November 2021. He started showing signs of mental disorders as well as schizophrenia due to the torture he endured by the IOF. Read about our children who are getting tortured and abused in Israeli military prisons. They are not criminals, freedom to all of them.
Soldiers versus children, yet the world sides with soldiers! This is pre-OCT 7th! A western backed, democratically elected government with one - if not THE strongest army in the world! I am a mother my heart skips beats when I look at their faces. These could be my children or your children. These are our children! Enough! This occupation must end now! This madness must end now!

✍️ George Orwell wrote 70 years ago that modern political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable.
When it comes to the media’s coverage of Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine, unfortunately there is a lot of modern political language masquerading as journalism aimed to perpetuate the status quo.
The language is designed to rob the oppressed of their very struggle for dignity.
Having worked with many of these news organizations, I know this pattern all too well, a pattern that dates back decades, and that aims to dehumanize Palestinians and absolve Israel of any accountability for the countless crimes they commit on a daily basis.
These news organizations intentionally obfuscate facts and erase fundamental context to shield Israel from facing consequences for the crimes of collective punishment, ethnic-cleansing, apartheid and occupation, protecting the racist and rogue zionist state.
Their complicity is as obscene as it is obvious and I can assure you that they know exactly what they are doing.

[ID: tweet from @/shimmeringolds on november 18th, 2023 that reads: “You all please look at this!!!! On Monday the Israeli occupation parliament is presenting a law to kill 7000 Palestinians in illegal israeli occupation prisons!!! If it passes, it means that the Palestinians who are in those prisons will be killed as part of the zionist law!!!”
the tweet she is quoting is from @/QudsNen (Quds News Network) on november 18th, 2023 and that tweet reads: “The Extremist "Itamar Ben Gvir" Minister of National Security in the Israeli occupation government:
"On Monday, there will be the first reading of the death penalty law for Palestinian political prisoners, this law is presented by the
"Otzma Yehudit" party (led by the extremist Ben Gvir) this law will be discussed in the national security committee. He added, I expect all members of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) to support this important law"
The number of Palestinians in Israeli prisons has increased to 7000 prisoners, 64 of whom are women. And tens of children. #Palestine_Genocide” Below the text there is a photo of Itamar Ben Gvir. End ID.]
