We look on with horror - and rightly so - at the Canadian medical system's callous disregard for human life by basically offering euthanasia as an answer for everything.
The thing I don't think a lot of people realize is that, due to the upcoming demographic collapse, pretty soon this is probably going to be worldwide, and that this is almost inevitable.
The entire first world has an aging population without the birth numbers to replace it. That means that, in the not-too-distant future, there are going to be a lot more old people with failing health than there's going to be qualified caretakers for them.
I mean, that's already the case now. I had a job working in a nursing home / physical rehab facility for about six months (which was all I cared to do there), and it was me and two CNAs to 35 patients. And that's standard. There's plenty of places where the staffing ratios are even worse.
And the care in some of these places is atrocious. You'll hear horror stories about the state they find some people in in nursing homes, with no one having come to check on them for days as they lay helpless in bed, in their own piss and shit, bedsores down to the bone.
And that's with "professional" "medical" "care". Families aren't necessarily better; it's a lot harder to take care of a helpless adult than it is an infant, and despite attempts by family to take care of them, folks still wind up with bedsores and infections and all sorts of problems that do them in.
And if you've got no one then you're really fucked; or maybe less so, depending on how you look at it, because you might die quicker alone.
And it's not just nursing homes. People in need of more acute care are going to have less and less necessary time and attention spent on them as there's more and more of them and fewer and fewer people to care for them. Right now ICUs typically have a 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 ratio of nurses to patients. What happens when it becomes 1-to-6? What happens when the person in the ICU who needs to be tended to for 15 - 20 minutes of every hour is being looked after by someone who's got to split their time between 6 other patients? That person can't spend a third of an hour of individual care on six people at once; it's not physically possible.
"So just hire more help!" You understand that hiring doctors and nurses and other skilled medical staff isn't like hiring more people to stock the shelves at Target or work the register at Burger King, right? You need people with education and training and the ability to actually pass that education and training and the mindset that goes along with caring for people. And the more acute the care, the sharper that person has to be.
And my point is, even if it was that way, there's still going to be more old people in need of care than there's going to be people to care for them.
What's the staffing ratio going to be for nursing homes in 2050? One nurse to 80 patients? One to 100? Acute care units with one nurse to 20 patients - patients who are laid up in bed and can't get up and can't go to the bathroom and can't clean themselves and can't get their own food or water? Are we going to have ICUs with 1 nurse to 10 patients? At that point those won't be care facilities, they'll be warehouses for the dying.
And this is where euthanasia will be given as an answer. "We can't care for all of these people, who are simply dying slow deaths. The best we can do is make it quick and painless."
And it is a slippery slope. We can see it happening in Canada right now, how more and more people are being offered assisted suicide as the answer for what would be otherwise difficult or inconvenient medical issues.
My prediction is that by the year 2050 euthanasia will be a standard medical "treatment" for the elderly and anyone with chronic conditions.
And I legit don't have a good answer about that.

Nadia Lipes:
A moment of logic, including historical logic.
Now I will not chew on the facts about the ownership of a certain piece of territory by ancient Israel, otherwise a couple of large Arab countries will end up there, but I will focus on the beginning of the 20th century.
At the beginning of the 20th century, Jews did not live in the territory of Gaza for a long time, despite the village and Jewish history of that region, they were driven out of there a long time ago, and the area was overgrown with sand.
But Jews have always lived in Judea and Samaria. In general, it’s pretty fucked up to say that the area called Judea has nothing to do with the Jews. But that's not the point.
As a result of the 1967 war, Israel inherited both, lightly populated by Arabs. This increased slightly by 4 times, despite the horrors of the occupation. A unique demographic case, yes.
In general, so that the Arabs behave decently in those same territories, and since these regions are ancient Jewish, Israel revived Jewish settlements there in some quantity.
And everything was fine until some idiot with the letter R [Rabin] decided to be the most humane Jew in history. The next idiot with the letter Š [Sharon] continued this event, and the Jews left Gaza. For 16 years, there were no Jews there.
The Jews could not leave the West Bank. Even R and Š understood this with their meagre minds. It so happened historically that on the West Bank, there is indivisible Jerusalem and Hebron. Not to mention smaller Jewish sites like Rachel's Tomb.
Thus, this part can never be given away. And under no circumstances. As long as Israel exists. The whole world understands this.
Thus, what is this very world trying to achieve? Right. The complete liquidation of Israel, in fact, hiding behind strange slogans.
Although some countries have already realized what is the "from the river to the sea..." It is not very clear which sea and which river we are talking about. Some countries, but not all.
Minute of logic number 2.
As we know from the last post, Gaza has not been occupied in any way for 16 years. It was simply separated from Israel by a fence. If you wanted to separate, please, here is a fence for you.
Israel did not touch Gaza at all. However, it employed its inhabitants, treated them, supplied them with electricity and water, and allowed them to give them a suitcase of money from Qatar every month.
Gaza, on the contrary, was touching Israel more and more every year. With rockets. Israel, in response, targeted the launch points, and that was the end of it. Because the world community, that’s all.
As a result of this development of events, they became so emboldened that they broke into the territory of Israel using all sorts of improvised means, killed 1400 people, after raping half of them, including children, burning some, and they did all this on video. The Germans are quietly crying in the corner.
Not only did they film all this chaos themselves, but they also post it online themselves.
Among other things, 240 people were taken captive, including children. The war has been going on for 40 days, 4 were released by the Palestinians themselves because animal rights activists knocked them on the head for them, 1 was released by ours, and the bodies of the other two have already been found.
Let me remind you that captives, or prisoners of war, are people who need to be fed, watered, shown to the Red Cross and not killed. Moreover, civilians cannot be taken as prisoners of war. And even more so infants and ancient old people. This is written directly in the regulations of all countries.
Where is the reaction? Huh?
Well, denying the rapes filmed by Hamas themselves is generally the lowest point of bottom. And yes, the Israeli army has been in the sector for 40 days. And not a single case of rape of Arab women by Jews.
Surprisingly simple. They spend much longer than 6 hours there, but how do they control themselves?
In Kfar Yassin, by the way, it was the same. So the world community was also indignant. They said that Jews despise Arabs so much that they don’t even want to rape them.
Disgusting behavior. We condemn.

gun control doesnt combat fascism? maybe it doesnt combat it but surely it would help? can you expand on that point
Thank you for asking. I appreciate that you are genuinely asking, since gun control is a very sensitive subject.
Everything I’m about to say applies only to the USA because Thats Where I Live.
(Also, disclaimer: I FOLLOW ALL GUN LAWS BOTH LOCAL AND FEDERAL AND I ADVISE EVERYONE TO DO THE SAME.)
In this country, we have more guns in private ownership than the total population. However, the ownership of those guns is not equal across all demographics. Gun owners are more likely to be white, male, and right-wing. 66% of gun owners, including me, own more than one gun.
source: https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2017/06/22/americas-complex-relationship-with-guns/
What’s my problem with that? Well, in the event of a civil war or some other spicy event, which I view as becoming increasingly likely, I want the left wing to be better armed than the right wing. I want minorities and women to be better armed than white men. My current desire politically is to increase gun ownership in these groups. As it stands we are WAY behind on getting trained and armed.
At this point in time, I principally oppose *most* legislation that makes it harder to get a gun, because that will just solidify the advantage that the right currently has.
The way that a lot of new gun laws work is that they often apply only to new gun purchases, while owned guns are “grandfathered in.” Example: Washington State just banned the sale, import, and transfer of magazines with a capacity over 10 rounds. However, you can keep your existing magazines if you bought them before July 1, 2021 (if i recall correctly). I oppose this law because the existing (disproportionately right-wing, remember) gun owners in Washington get to have 30 round mags, while new gun owners buying, say, a Glock-19, which has a standard capacity of 15 rounds, have to literally buy magazines that are at a *reduced* capacity. And if you want to REDUCE the number of gun owners in any state in America? Good fucking luck! Even in the absolutely far-fetched parallel universe where you repealed the Second Amendment and passed a “universal gun ban,” that shit is unenforceable. What are you going to do, serve a warrant on every single gun owner in the country? THAT’S a recipe for immediate civil war right there.
That brings up the issue of enforcement. Enforcement of (often unfair, obscure, and arbitrary) gun laws is so often disproportionally targeted towards minorities! This goes against my earlier stated goal of changing the existing “balance of power” of gun ownership.
For example if you want to assemble a rifle with a barrel less than 16” you have to pay a $200 fee and wait months for a license from the federal government. If you are driving your car and you have a pistol in the glove box, in Washington you need a Concealed Pistol License to do so. There are many arcane and hyper-specific gun laws that I think could be done away with. (I’m not necessarily saying there should be NO gun laws, that’s a bit much even for me.)
Furthermore, MANY gun laws just straight up do not apply to the police, even retired cops. This further serves to solidify their status as an unaccountable privileged class above the citizenry. So many police departments have military-grade equipment and shit, and I’m just… uncomfortable with that. They are more than comfortable using their military hardware against peaceful protestors and unarmed civilians. Just doesn’t sit right with me, you know?
And with regards to mass shooters, I don’t think that you can “gun law” your way out of what is clearly a complex social problem. What does someone care about gun laws if they’re planning to shoot a bunch of people and then themself? In a lot of cases, mass shooters were in violation of gun laws in the first place, so making their behavior “more illegal” doesn’t seem like something useful.
And I also oppose an “assault weapons ban.” Lawmakers by and large can’t even define what an “assault weapon” is, or why it is uniquely dangerous. The vast majority of gun crime is committed with handguns anyway.
Also! Gun buybacks are deeply flawed as well. So many people are just turning in Grandpappy’s Six-Shooter that they found in the attic or they’re some clever weirdo who went and bought eleventeen cheap-ass guns that technically meet the requirements and walk away with $11,000 in gift cards. Plus if they want to be reducing gun crime they (the police) need to commit to trusting people who are turning in guns. This means not running forensics on all the guns turned in. Which they often do.
And if cops want to “reduce the number of guns on the streets” maybe they should stop selling us their used service pistols lmao. (You can get some good deals on those.)
In conclusion…
Combatting fascism, mass shootings (which are often committed by fascists) and other social phenomena requires massive socio-political changes to our society. Changing gun laws doesn’t change the motive in the mind of the person picking up the gun. Gun control can’t deradicalize people.
I welcome further discussion on this topic. And to any readers who are a minority, a woman, a leftist, I can provide more info on getting a gun.

Effective Travel Advertising Strategy for 2024
When marketing travel services, you can't only rely on people's wanderlust since, although it might keep your company afloat, it won't help you stand out in the field.
In addition, people's desire to travel varies widely and might be affected by unanticipated circumstances.
This was shown in 2020 when travel was negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, as evidenced by past years' data on industry spending on digital advertising. Although things are getting better, a lot depends on how well travel advertisements function.
You need to use both innovative advertising and sound planning for your vacation advertising to be genuinely successful.
Follow along as I take you through the process of creating a workable travel advertising plan, which includes determining your target market, understanding the customer journey, establishing campaign objectives, and gauging the success of your ads.
We'll also examine 16 well-known travel advertisements that will undoubtedly serve as inspiration for your upcoming advertising campaigns.
Use the summary below to go directly to the section on the advertisements if you're more interested in those than in the strategy.
Tumblr media
Steps for The Perfect Advertising Strategy
Because advertising requires time, money, and other resources, maximizing return on investment is the ultimate goal.
Creating a strategy in advance, or a detailed plan to target the appropriate audience and convince potential customers to select your travel services over those of your rivals, is the most reliable approach to do this.
Having a strategy not only gives you a clear path of action but also acts as a guide for you to evaluate your progress along the way and adjust your plan as necessary.
The following are essential measures to ensure the development of a robust tourism advertising strategy.
1. Identify your target audience
A strong target audience is the cornerstone of any effective advertising campaign for travel.
Consider how pointless it would be to target users who have no chance of becoming clients. By reducing the group size, you can concentrate your efforts on contacting the people who stand to gain the most from your travel services.
Additionally, by keeping a specific target market in mind, you may produce travel advertisements that also function as customized client experiences, which have been shown to increase conversion rates to sales.
Create a buyer persona, or a list of the qualities you would like to see in your ideal client, to identify your target market. These characteristics may be behavioral, psychographic, demographic, or geographic.
Geographic: anything having to do with a customer's location, such as their nation, state, city, or postal code;
demographic: characteristics of the population based on factors like age, gender, income, education, and marital status;
Psychographic: characteristics of personality, values, interests, pastimes, and way of life;
Behavioral: online actions based on spending and buying tendencies, browsing patterns, and a host of other factors.
2. Know the traveler’s customer journey
The customer journey encapsulates every interaction a potential consumer has with a brand from their initial meeting until the transaction is finalized.
It's generally split into three phases: conversion, consideration, and awareness.
A traveler's customer journey, however, is different from the conventional model because making a travel reservation requires careful consideration and planning; it's not an easy decision to make.
Would you, after all, purchase airline tickets as soon as you would a chocolate bar? Not me either.
Thus, the trip experience of the client can be divided into the subsequent four to five phases:
Dreaming: here is where all aspiring travelers start, whether they are imagining themselves lounging on a Greek beach or in a gondola cruising the canals of Venice.
Planning: Even the most impulsive travelers plan their trip in some way, even if it's only as simple as choosing which hotel to stay at.
Booking: Prospects are prepared to purchase airline tickets and make hotel reservations.
Experiencing: Vacationers are having a great time and creating lifelong memories.
Remembering: Recall that you can strengthen the bond between the traveler and your brand during this optional phase, which follows the completion of the excursion.
By being aware of this customer journey, you can schedule your travel advertising to coincide with the most advantageous times, particularly when potential customers are still in the planning and booking phases.
3. Set your travel campaign goals
Set goals or targets for your travel campaigns to help you stay focused on the importance of your job and track your success along the way.
The S.M.A.R.T. criterion should be used to create your marketing goals for the best results. The acronym represents the attributes that your goals ought to possess: they are precise, quantifiable, attainable, pertinent, and time-bound.
The following are a few typical objectives that can help your campaign succeed:
Raise brand recognition by placing your travel services in front of prospective clients.
increase website traffic or draw in new customers to the website of your business encourage thought by running campaigns to highlight various travel services.
Create leads by getting potential customers to fill out a form to learn more about an offer or by getting new newsletter subscribers.
Increase conversions to increase revenue.
4. Create travel ads with seasonality in mind
Not really, though. It cascades down the mountains and northern shore of Spain. However, the nation has unique weather, much like any other tourist destination.
Travel is heavily reliant on the weather. In the travel industry, there are generally three seasons: peak, shoulder, and off-season.
Known as the peak season or high season, summertime (mid-June through August) is when demand typically reaches its annual peak.
The shoulder season, which runs from April to mid-June and September to October, is when most people travel, albeit not as much as they do in the peak season.
During the so-called "off-season," which runs from November to March, all travel-related firms see a drop in sales.
But seasonality isn't always a bad thing for travel advertising because
But while seasonality gives you a clear picture of the upcoming months, it's not always a bad thing for travel marketing.
Try to pay attention to seasonal patterns and trends so you can determine when potential customers are interested in buying airline tickets, hotel rooms, or all-inclusive deals for particular locations. You may be able to influence consumers' decisions to buy by scheduling your creative advertisements and modifying your messaging for certain seasons.
5. Choose the right advertising platform
There are many different platforms for advertising, but the simplest approach to finding the ones that work best for your brand is to find out where your customers hang out.
For the majority of enterprises, the following three platforms are often the best options:
Google Ads: You can take advantage of Google's extensive reach and sophisticated targeting possibilities by launching search or display ads on the Google ad network to reach prospective clients at the precise moment that they are searching for travel services.
Social media advertisements: Advertising on social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, enables you to simultaneously reach a larger audience and build brand awareness. Additionally, it lets you test out a variety of ad forms, such as picture and video adverts.
Email marketing: Email provides a direct line of connection with clients through which you may provide customized messages, promotions, and discounts. In addition, it's an inexpensive marketing strategy with readily quantifiable outcomes.
6. Measure your ads’ effectiveness
It is possible that things will not go as planned even if you have a brilliant plan in place. Even if they do, tracking the effectiveness of your trip campaign is essential to knowing how well your vacation advertisements are doing.
If all goes according to plan, you'll know what to do differently in future campaigns, and if not, you'll learn how to make advertising more successful.
Fortunately, relevant measures known as KPIs (key performance indicators) are available for tracking the most popular campaign objectives on all advertising platforms, including Google and Facebook. You therefore know precisely what to look for.
Email marketing campaigns operate differently because campaign performance is measured through the use of third-party solutions that facilitate email automation.
Inspiring Travel Advertising Examples
Now for the moment, everyone has been waiting for a list of 17 travel advertisements that, in one way or another, are successful in grabbing viewers' attention
Expedia: Chase new experiences
Let's start with a major player in the market: Expedia. The reason these two imaginative advertisements from the same campaign are so effective is that they highlight Moroccan experiences for visitors rather than the actual place.
When combined with stunning landscape images, the font combination is a match made in heaven, and the prose effectively communicates a message.
A group excursion devoid of drama
The challenge of organizing a trip with plenty of pals is understood in this Kayak display advertisement. No matter how close the ties are, there will inevitably be hiccups.
Although the ad's design may not be very striking, the language effectively communicates with viewers, thus I believe it merits a spot on this list of examples of travel advertisements.
Conclusion
In the travel sector, it is evident from the strategy recommendations and ad samples provided in this article that knowing and relating to customers is crucial.
Hopefully, you've gained some new knowledge that you can use to help you plan or create advertisements for your upcoming trip campaign.

Gender and Identity Studies: How Gender, Sexuality, and Identity Intersect with Skincare
Proactiv Adverts (2017):
Tumblr media
My subject librarian shared these case studies with me, demonstrating how language targets stereotypical notions of attractiveness. Proactiv has used this type of offensive advertising before:
Clearasil Thinks Unwanted Zits Look Like Stereotypical Homosexuals, Say Critics (2018):
Tumblr media
This controversial 2018 advert from Clearasil titled “Pimples Make Terrible Prom Dates”. The ad follows a pair of female high school students preparing for prom, when one discovers she has a blemish.
“If this turns into a pimple, I will literally die,” she tells her friend.
Cut to a close-up of the pimple, which is an effeminate man with a shrieking voice in a pink ruffled suit.
Clearasil is applied, prom is saved, and the young ladies are returned to their prom dates. The ad has since been removed from the internet as it cannot be found anywhere

‘He wouldn’t be seen using it…’ Men’s use of male grooming products as a form of invisible consumption:
The study included interviews with men aged 18-59 who were either in full-time education or employment. Most identified as middle class, with varying ethnic backgrounds, and the majority described themselves as heterosexual.
Male skincare UK market valued at £77.2 million and the global market at USD 11.6 billion.
Younger men more open to skincare, with older generations feeling emasculated
Younger men prefer online shopping for skincare products due to its privacy.
This reluctance to talk about these issues may be contributing to mental health challenges among men.
Growing pressure on men to enhance their "market value" in the context of individualization and neoliberal competitiveness
Attractive people are more likely to form social connections, which can affect self-esteem.
"invisible consumption," highlighted that men seek to enhance their appearance but wish to keep it private.
The rise of selfies and video calling has made younger men more conscious of their appearance

Influence of gender and sexual identity on adolescent skin health (2021):
This study focuses on understanding the dermatologic conditions and skin-related behaviors that affect Sexual and Gender Minority youth, such as LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, who have historically been underserved in healthcare.
Adolescents aged 13-21 years
The study used a questionnaire covering four main areas:
Demographic characteristics
Presence of diagnosed skin conditions
Hormone therapy use
Participants' views on how their gender identity and sexual orientation influence their skin care practices, including tanning behavior.
Key findings:
The majority of the study population was White, accounting for 68.6% of the participants.
SGM youth preferred to receive care from a dermatologist who openly identified as SGM.
Cisgender adolescents were more likely to engage in tanning behavior, motivated by the perception that tanned skin was more attractive.
Gender identity was found to influence how participants personally felt about and cared for their skin, while sexual orientation did not show a significant association with these factors.
Adolescents actively adjusted their skin care practices to conform to societal gender expectations. For some transgender males, this manifested as reduced concerns about their skin complexion and a limited need for a skin care routine, which they considered consistent with gender norms and expectations surrounding masculinity.
Transgender and cisgender females alike expressed feeling heightened expectations to achieve a societal ideal of clear skin, requiring more time dedicated to a skin care regimen:
“I don't always do skin care because it's seen as a traditionally feminine thing and it can make me dysphoric.” (transgender male, bisexual, 16 y.o.)
“Girls/women are expected by society to take better care of their appearance than men to fit society's ideal standard.” (transgender female, bisexual, 16 y.o.)
The study found that there were no statistically significant differences in the reported prevalence of most dermatologic conditions among sexual minority youth, gender minority youth, and cisgender/heterosexual youth subgroups.
However, there were two exceptions to this overall trend:
Adolescents who identified as heterosexual had a higher prevalence of atopic dermatitis (13%) compared to those who identified as sexual minorities (3%, p = 0.031).
In an analysis specifically focused on transgender males, there was a significantly higher prevalence of acne in those individuals who endorsed the use of hormonal therapy compared to those who did not (63% vs. 13%, p < 0.001).

Laughing at a youtuber.
No, I will not link to them. More a personal rant and chuckle.
This black individual whose sex and gender I will not elaborate on, moaned about how women were/are all in on trans rights, until, and I quote,
“Women started feeling replaced by these trans women in sports.” And whimpering about how they’re, “still an LGBT supporter, still want to support, but, being real, women feel like transwomen are targeting their spaces to dominate them, and replacing them in female categories. Like sports, pageants and entertainment.”
You really going to go there. Transgendered people are less than 1% of the population. The entire god damned LGBT spectrum hovers around 5% the human population, across the world. There are places where it’s as high as 15-40%, but those places are big migratory hubs that are specifically LGBT strong points, and do not even remotely represent anything in any basic society.
And you, supposed LGBT supporter, fellow oppressed peoples supporter, marching in solidarity for equality and progress and diversity, mocker of, “those awful -phobic/racist conservatives,” want to whip out the flat sided buzz cuts and tiki torches and start going, “YOU WILL NOT REPLACE US” when the law starts treating transwomen’s rights and privileges as existing in the same category as and synonymous with a female sexed person, demanding that no distinction is allowed to be made between them or to qualify them differently. You were all for it, until it meant they got right of way and you had to adjust your speech and your spaces to prioritize their needs as a minority over yours as your sex.
Tumblr media
Folks love, “being for social justice” when the platform treats them as an oppressed minority, but boy do they sure get awfully NIMBY the minute those same rules and that same community starts defining them as an obligate, inescapable oppressor based on their demography (race, ethnic group, language group, sex) in relation to another group, and all the “you’re not allowed to speak/you’re only allowed to agree with me or be wrong and then vilified for your dissent and obstruction of my justice,” that implies.
But some of you are realizing, when you follow this particular philosophy and community that believe in a certain way, you don’t get to go, “I believe this part is true, BUT I’m an oppressed minority, this other part of how this works shouldn’t apply to me and you shouldn’t get to just sandbag my opinion as if I’m the worst person in the world like this. Not like those horrible white men!”
Nope. Nope. That isn’t how it works. You’re now the middle child in this family with these arbitrary, family rules, not the Baby, whom gets away with being a mouthy, sassy brat and rewarded for laying it on the table at the bigger sibling, instead of punished for two weeks for speaking out of turn or place. You want to speak, now you have to torture your language and concede and submit to their norms, speak to them on their terms, never violate how they lay out their issues, or you’ll be sat in the same table Newt Gingrich sits on. The Big Oppressor to their pantheon of demons is white, able bodied, English speaking, cisgendered heterosexual, male sexed human beings. You rank beneath the ultimate boss of oppressor, but you rank over some other groups, and those ones get to talk to and treat you the way you think you’re entitled to talk down to white men as your natural oppressor. Those ones get to mouth off at you with righteous indignation as if you’re the effigy, embodying the force of their suffering demographically, same as you do your oppressor. Thems the rules of the game you’ve chosen to play. I don’t make them, I’m just unflatteringly spelling them out for you, unambiguously and without benefit of the doubt.
You follow the belief because it’s convenient, for instance, that arbitrary “privileges,” the definition for the concept that just existing as a demographic entitles you to certain social advantages and characteristics purely based on affiliation to said group, make an individual culpable for “that demographic”‘s historical abuses and exploitation of another group (or at least the responsibility for it leveid on the descendant that fits the description) then you follow the belief that also says you’re an oppressor just by not being in the oppressed demographic, therefore, you are their oppressor. You’ve been bamboozled and had your social and political gripes hijacked and appropriated to make YOU march for THEIR perspective and THEIR preferred resolution to your historical problems. Using their language, using their theories of society.
But the minute they expand on those beliefs some, and suddenly you become the oppressor you felt confident you were in the right for shouting down and smearing as the unequivical, indisputable capital E Enemy, you realize the No Holds Barred and absolutism of this way of approaching the social conversations may have some flaws to it or shouldn’t apply to you this way, just whites, and to some of you, just men.
You should’ve checked the fine print on the little red book when you started quoting it. And now you get to learn exactly where you stand and where they think people like you should go; Playing supporter and groupie for THEIR argument and war, where you show up and vote how you’re told, be counted in solidarity to their cause and fight their battles for them, or shut the fuck up and leave. But there’s no medium space. They own the legitimate one and you can’t have it.
So. Welcome to that spot beneath the bus, where they blame you for shit and hold you accountable for shit other people that look like you, may or may not have ACTUALLY said, or been interpreted to’ve said or meant that. You feel like you can’t say a word of dissent or opposition without being made an example of on the mainstream news or dogpiled by e-celebrity influencers on youtube and tiktok and twitch, all of them hoping to smile for the camera and go, “Pfft, this hater, right? :^)” for their own potential to reaffirm Bad People Bad and they’re a good person, and that their sycophants should also hate bad people. Because now you’re on the other side of that culture. This is the hell you helped make possible when you thought you were on the right side of history, and you were marching against evil itself.
The good news is that spot beneath the bus is very diverse and getting bigger every day as the puritanical dogmas of class struggle theory, critical X theory and other garbage becomes status quo. And miraculously, even more liberal than the absolutist garbage trying to run it out and replace it in mainstream hard left progressivism. Pull up a chair and get ready to think.

Developing Business-to-Consumer marketing strategies: step-by-step process
Tumblr media
The WMAD business’s goal is to create a simple B2C marketing strategy marketing channel that gets your business in front of targeted buyers. Here’s an example of a funnel: Introduce your brand to the potential customer.
Encourage the customer to interact with your company.
Encourage the potential buyer to purchase in a non-intrusive manner.
After the funnel is set up, it’s necessary to develop a marketing plan that will aid marketing teams in streamlining communication and improving campaign results.
What exactly is B2C marketing?
In the previous two weeks, I’ve bought at least a half-dozen products for personal use on the internet. If you’re anything like me — or the vast majority of the consumer population — you’ve probably done the same. Though I work as a marketer, I am first and primarily a consumer.
Nonetheless, the firms from which I’ve purchased have all attempted to persuade me to buy by using marketing language and experiences.
B2C marketing is a broad term that refers to the process of selling goods, products, and services to consumers. B2C marketing differs from B2B (business-to-business) marketing in that it typically (but not always) involves more emotional, lower-involvement purchases.
1. Create a customer profile.
Every B2C Marketing strategy company has a mental image of its ideal consumer. Create a hypothetical buyer persona with demographics, preferences, and other relevant information.
The buyer’s path must be comprehended.
Each customer takes a different path to reach your brand. This is how it usually appears:
Prospects are aware that they have an issue at this point.
Stage of consideration: prospects have a thorough understanding of the problem and are actively looking for solutions.
Consumers have narrowed it down to their major brands and are about to pick a good or service that will address their issue.
Make sure your material corresponds to each of the three steps of this approach. while creating an inbound marketing strategy
Make a plan for content marketing.
To increase brand income and recognition, 94 percent of B2C marketers have or are developing a content marketing strategy. Reaching your customers is a lot easier with a strong content marketing plan in place.
What is B2C content marketing (business-to-consumer)?
The process of planning, developing, and sharing informative and helpful content for your customer base is known as B2C content marketing.
There are many types of information that can be used in a larger B2C content marketing strategy:
Posts on the blog
Images
Research papers are used to illustrate a point.
The framework of the research
Recordings
Recordings on Audio
Webinars
Training on certain products
2. The B2C consumer
Your single most important task as a B2C Marketing strategies marketer is to know your customer inside and out. That is why you should complete a detailed analysis of your target audience or the type of consumer you want to reach.
Generally, the most effective (and possibly simplest) way for B2C brands to analyze their markets is to generalize their audience into a single model customer. Is your typical customer a man or a woman? Is this individual married? Are there any kids? What is the age range?
Before going deeper into the specifics of your target audience, it is important to understand what makes B2C customers tick. What specifically motivates them to make a purchase?
Once you understand your customers’ motivations, you can easily create the “wow” factor that drives them to purchase. Here are a few of the most common B2C buyer motivations to be aware of.
To make amends or to reach an agreement: Although letting go of the past may make us feel better, our spending patterns often imply otherwise. For example, a man who had a strained relationship with his father is more likely to purchase something in his father’s honor.
To have the feeling of being one-of-a-kind: We all want to be valued and to believe that we are unique. We have a sense of exclusivity because of this special sort of self-assurance Purchasing an expensive sports car, joining an exclusive country club, splurging on an exotic vacation, and other similar activities can help to elicit this emotion.
To achieve a lengthy vision: Unusual purchases can reveal a person’s deepest desires and goals. Wouldn’t you buy a downtown condo, a convertible, or a Swiss watch if it meant realizing a long-held ambition?
Last Thoughts
B2C marketing, digital commerce, IoT, or any other term you choose to give it, online shopping is the present and future. The retail landscape, as well as the plates that support it, is rapidly evolving.
Some of the approaches and general concepts covered here can help B2C brands break through.
In the coming, B2C marketing strategies that grab attention, engage website visitors, and keep them coming back will win. Only you can decide whether or not you’re up to the task.
Send me an email to WMAD if you have any other strategies or key tactics that you’re using or that are on the sky in the B2C space, and I’ll include them in future content.

3 Reasons Why You Should Advertise on Social Media
Tumblr media
Businesses must stay on top of current marketing trends in order to stay competitive, as the business and retail world is changing rapidly. Adapting to the current times will be necessary for brands to find new ways to market and sell. There is no doubt that traditional marketing isn't working as well as it once did, and those who are using digital marketing may be missing out on key strategies that will improve their performance and results.
Businesses need to adapt by converting online to generate new sales as times change and brick-and-mortar businesses decline. Social media advertising in 2022 has many benefits for you and your team. Let me share with you three reasons why every business should leverage social media advertising in some form and how you can take advantage of these strategies without trial and error.
1. Customers who are hyper-targeted
Instagram has over a billion active users? People wonder how to reach more potential clients without taking into account that a large percentage of the population is active on social media. Businesses and advertisers alike can benefit from their data. Social media marketing is so effective because brands can hyper-target ideal clients based on their exact demographics. Showing ads to the right individuals is a critical part of the marketing process and must be taken seriously to avoid wasted ad spend.
Users are targeted based on their age, gender, location, interests, behaviors, website visitors, email lists, and more at our agency. Data like this is made available to us as advertisers when we publish campaigns, allowing us to show relevant information to the right people by utilizing context in our marketing campaigns.
2. Develop an audience
The data you collect can be saved and used in future campaigns in addition to targeting specific audiences. Utilizing historical data to build a social audience and a landing page audience is critical for creating consistent and future marketing success.
Users from 180 to 365-day-old audiences have been targeted - and are still being targeted - by us. Our contextual advertising and irresistible offers can be delivered to people after they click an ad, visit a landing page, or sign up for an email list.
3. Analyze ROI
The ability to track return on investment from your marketing campaigns is another key tool that comes from social media advertising. Facebook, for example, integrates this information directly into its Ads Manager platform, making it easy to view your budget's performance and analyze return on ad spend (ROAS), cost per website purchase, lead cost and more. Advertisers can now track how their ad spend is performing directly, making it possible to cut undesirable campaigns and scale well-performing campaigns to bring even better results.
A small ad spend and large sales return are the name of the game when done right. We continually track the performance of our ad campaigns and ensure that our cost per result is as low as possible. Advertisers typically receive a return on their investment between 5x and 30x. We have campaigns with over 75x ROAS, which means we get back more than 75x what we spend on Facebook ads. There is no other form of investing that gets a better return so quickly, predictably, and passively as this one.
These are three solid reasons why social media advertising is important. In order to ensure your business remains sustainable, you should use social media advertising as the cornerstone of your marketing strategy. Due to its ability to target specific users, build an audience database, and track the return on your investment directly, it is ideal for hyper-targeting specific users.

How to have captivating conversations with successful men
On Tumblr sugar community I see a lot of posts about how you have to look a certain way to attract rich men and how to achieve that look. Being smart comes up here and there but I’ve never seen a detailed how-to post about it like the ones about appearance.
Honestly? I am quite lazy about my appearance upkeep (and I’m the first one to admit this is something I need to improve) and never had any problems getting successful men to fall for me. And they all say how charmed they are by my intelligence, and how fascinating it is to talk to me.
In my opinion, if you’re young and cute and have proper hygiene you’re most likely attractive enough for them to be attracted to you. Of course, the look is important, but here’s the thing; it isn’t a dealbreaker for men with money because a lot of it can be fixed by throwing money at it.
I’ve had a man who gave me 10k to be his date for a charity dinner. He spent another 10k on my look for the day. He had his assistant arrange everything: hair to pedicure, gown, shoes, jewelry, what have you. At that event, there was a girl who was a date to another man at the dinner. She was gorgeous. Possibly the most gorgeous at the table, but she didn’t know what NATO was. Everyone else at the table was engaging in conversations about international affairs and the girl just sat there, embarassed and visibly bored.
To spend money on you he needs to enjoy spending time with you and in order to enjoy spending time with you, he needs to enjoy talking to you. This is especially true if you’re taking the SGF route that requires a more genuine connection.
Sorry for long preface here are the tips~
I skipped the generic tips like keep eye contact, really listen to him blah blah blah... y’all probably already know that.
1. Absorb information
Documentaries, podcasts, books, what have you. The kind middle aged men are interested in and also the kind they aren’t, so you can get both “Oh she likes this stuff, too. Awesome” and “Wow that’s something I didn’t know of. She has her own unique taste. Cool.”
2. Make that information your own and form your own opinions
If you just keep bringing up facts after facts, you’ll just sound obnoxious and you don’t want that. The knowledge you absorbed should be a tool for conversation, not the conversation itself.
3. You can have “bad” taste, but you must have a taste.
You can like things that aren’t liked by others. You don’t have to like all the “right” things. But you have to know what you like or don’t like and why, and be able to elaborate on it. If you can do that, they will not look down on you for liking the “wrong” thing. They respect you for being opinionated, and being able to stand by an unpopular opinion. For example, certain movies that I love are considered trashy by cinephiles as well as the general population. But I can go on and on about why I enjoy them. This pot sat across from me with his eyes sparkling in interest, as I went on a tangent about why one of the worst movies in this country’s film history is actually a cinematic masterpiece. He thought it was ridiculous, in a good way.
You know how it’s so cute when someone talks excitedly about something they are passionate about? That’s how your SD will see you and that makes him fall for you.
4. Stay rooted to your culture and heritage. Constantly learn more about it.
This is particularly important to me as an Asian SB whose target demographic is foreign expats, but it applies to everybody. If you’re conversing with someone from the same culture, you can bond over it, and with someone from a different culture you can share and enlighten. SDs often ask me why people here do certain things certain way, and I would tell them the history behind it, and they will be surprised. They will say that the domestic officials they work with here had not been able to explain them and instead said “idk we just do it” and they are supposed to be experts that run this country. If you can fulfil their curiosity, you will be interesting.
5. Don’t be afraid to change topics and be random
A lot of the times the reason people get stuck is because they are trying to stay on topic when it’s okay to move on to another. If he’s clearly passionate about a topic, don’t force the change and instead just listen and respond to him, but if the conversation stagnates, he obviously does not feel the need to talk more about the topic, so jump to another one. It can be unrelated to the previous thing you were talking about. One time I didn’t know what to talk about and then I saw a recycling bin outside so I said, “I recently watched a documentary about plastic recycling facilities...” and the conversation went from there. This is where #1 comes in handy.
6. Share anecdotes, the defining moments of your life. They don’t have to be real.
This makes them feel like they’re really getting to know you and getting closer to you. If you don’t have anything interesting or you just don’t want to share personal stuff with him, make something up. Make something up beforehand and repeat it a few times in your head so you can tell them naturally as if it’s true. Have several stories made up for SDs and pots.
7. Share future plans and aspirations. Again, doesn’t need to be real.
Same reason as above apply, and also, if your life is going nowhere, that can make you boring. Successful men are driven and they usually like people who are equally as driven. Also, if they truly are generous they will want to help, and even if the goal is fake you most likely still can benefit from it. I told my SD why I want to buy a house as soon as I can and exactly how I plan to do that, he was extremely impressed that I had such a detailed plan that actually makes sense, and offered to give me some money so I can have my planned deposit right now instead of having to keep saving till the end of next year like I planned, as well as use his connections to help me get a good deal with mortgage. (Imma get the other daddy to pay that mortgage let me tell you)
8. Sense of humor can be cultivated.
I love stand-up comedy and sitcoms. They do help with sense of humor and the jokes themselves come in handy when a situation relevant to the joke comes up. If it’s a common joke just steal it, if it’s not, you can say, “Comedian (insert name) said, (joke)” and it’s still funny and that’s what’s important. Also, inside jokes will make him feel really connected to you. Stay away from self-deprecating humor, though. A little bit can be funny but when it comes to SDs you want to maximize your value so don’t diminish that, not even for humor.
I am also guilty of stealing a lot of jokes I saw on Tumblr... lmao
9. It’s less about the topic itself and more about what you do with it and how you do it.
For example, weather is a very basic topic that can be pretty boring. But instead of monotonously saying, “It’s sunny today,” and leave it there, if you say “Oh! The sun is bright today! It makes everything look golden. Beautiful days like this makes me want to take a mini vacation to the beach. My grandparents used to live close to a beach and I used to make sand castles all the time with my grandpa. Nowadays I just lay in my bikini. Do you like beaches?” in an excited voice? Conveyed positive energy, shared a tiny piece of your childhood, got him to think about the image of you in a bathing suit, and asked a question to him to continue the conversation.

I think that this thing with the american heroes is happening because of hori's editor, bnha is popular here in japan BUT is not as popular as people in the west think, I would dare to say that bnha main demographic (??) is made of americans, so I think that the editor is pushing this narrative to make the audience feel more include in the story, but well, seeing you guys reaction to the chapter I don't think it worked
Ohhh that's nice to know! Thank you for the information, anon!
Well, I can't speak for the people on USA, because I'm from Latam and that means I don't fall exactly into their target audience, but my big problem with how they decided to do the American inclusion is that they:
Sacrificed My Villain Academia, that is a really important arc in the manga, for a movie that is not canon.
Well, they actually sacrificed the whole time-line of the last season for this movie.
Gave the N. 1 USA hero a stereotypical design that is on the verge of parody, because most suits like that in the western comics were used as USA propaganda for their wars.
And if not like there wasn't USA representation before in the manga. All Might is a well done character that honors the western comics in a very balanced way. In fact, if you're a fan of the western comics, you can pinpoint where Horikoshi got inspired by them to create certain characters, like Sero Hanta for example, who has many traces of Spiderman.
We already had a good movie, the first one, with characters from USA like David and Melissa Shield. They are very well done and they represent really interesting plots. Also, it's interesting how Horikoshi gave us a well executed redemption arc with David Shield, who was partially the villain of the movie and ended up paying for what he did, but he didn't die or became just a big tragedy, instead getting happy to see All Might okay and be able to be around Melissa.
It is totally wrong to sacrificed the quality of the anime in order to give more attention to the movies. I wouldn't be so angry if they had correctly animated this last season, but they changed the time-line and shortened My Villain Academia. This is going to be a total problem because Horikoshi wrote that arc in a genius way, in order to help the readers understand the villains and build a general sense of why they deserve to live, for example.
Also? Since the second movie, I noted a pattern that I really don't like. They are taking many plot points that were already on the manga and made them the focus of the movies. Why is that wrong? Because then they don't execute those same plot points on the anime. It takes the impact of the plots too, because people already saw them on the movies.
And finally, what people need to understand about the famous flag design is that it's traditions come from war propaganda of the USA. Many heroes with such suit come from the past century and the many wars USA fought in those years. Nowadays, using that type of design is a little ironic or even satiric. And making the suit just a giant flag and calling the hero something like stars and stripes is just... Well, I don't have words for that.
It only makes it more sad that the character is a woman, because we are already lacking good female character representation on the manga. Nothing surprising for sure, but still. When you have a hero already centered on the USA identity, it gets complicated. I think Horikoshi made this new hero a sort of fan of All Might or maybe even a student of him, because that's a clever way of explaining why they share such identity.
And maybe it's because I've been fighting for so long about how nations are a social construct and the identities of such nations have been widely excluding a great part of their populations, but the N. 1 USA hero looks so stereotypical to me. And I mean it stereotypical as in the way Captain America is stereotypical.
The problem with representing other cultures in our actual world is that you need to do your research and pay attention to the details.
And if it worked or no... No idea. This blog is already in the minority side by being a villain main blog. If you add to that the fact that I'm not from USA and I don't share many cultural beliefs from there, you are gonna find that my opinion doesn't matter that much to Studio Bones.
Anyway thank you very much for this ask. It's always helpful to have some insight into the culture and country of the original material. 💞

This ask is about two things.
1. Why demographic rather than audience matters, and
2. Gen Padalecki's comment that she and Jared are looking at three works to produce (star in?), one going to script.
DEMOGRAPHIC
Dealing with demographic, people (including me) keep pointing out how much audience loss Walker has had, and they are right ( it's lost 70% and I suspect it will go a little more) what is REALLY worse is that it has gone from a .37 to a point .10. demographic That means that the audience is 50+.
TV SHOWS ARE JUST THE SPACE BETWEEN THE ADVERTS. The only reason TV shows exist is to have the audience looking at the screen for the adverts. Of course, Advertisers only want to advertise to an audience who will buy. That is the 18-34 and 18-49 demographic. Older viewers than that are seen as not moving to new products or new luxury goods. Think of the adverts that happen at age related daytime slots, they are for grey power products not general products.
Demographic is measured by taking the whole of that age group in the country and see what percentage of that watched the programme. so .10 means that 1% of the target age market watched Walker (not total viewers in that age, total population). THAT is low. Demographic is why the CW wanted to be a teen market. You can have low ratings but high demographic and be more successful than a high ratings show. You need to be hitting the target audience NOT any audience. Advertisers won't pay big money for the wrong demographic.
So the falling demographic is more of a problem for Walker than the audience share. Both are catastrophic... but advertisers drive shows.
GEN'S NEW PROJECTS
Obviously the only way Gen is going to get hired is through nepotism. She's a bad actress. She was a very pretty actress and could get away with bad acting but she's 40 and has had so much work you wouldn't put her near a naked flame (sorry Jared, candlelit dinners really aren't safe...).
Jared however should be pushing the longevity of Walker. He hasn't got time to "actively exec" a 22 episode show and seriously develop another project. When he tried to simply act in other shows in hiatus during SPN he was exhausted and both he and Jensen said they couldn't commit to anything else.
So.... is the idea of another product signalling the end of Walker? it'll go to season 3 but on it's current trajectory (it's number 3 in demographic on a falling curve on a network that has issues) season 4 isn't actually a given. He, I suspect, is expensive.
Jared is a businessman and I'm quite certain he'd be just as willing to put on a stethoscope, strap on a fireman's helmet or put on khaki to sell Jared Padalecki in whatever other poor show he can think of for a couple of seasons. He sells to the same people, squeezing every ounce of of them he can.
However, he isn't A list. Every C lister ever tried to get themselves back in the game by self production, it's the only way actors can guarantee work. Doors other than the CW won't automatically open to him.
Perhaps we can look forward to a season of PadaChristmas specials on the CW? I can't see any other network being interested in Texas Eco Barbie and Hooters Ken.
What do you think?
Texas Eco Barbie and Hooters Ken
I snorted! Alright, I will do my best not to go on a tangent, but given my track record, I’m not optimistic.
First off, I had no clue how ratings and demographics worked until you brought your knowledge here and I appreciate it so much! It’s really fascinating to me! It also helps me (and probably the people who aren’t sure how the show is so garbage yet somehow “number one”) understand what’s going on and what counts. It’s really eye-opening to see those numbers too. I can’t imagine they’re too happy about their target demographic just simply not caring about this show the way they assumed they would.
You’re right on the money about Gen only getting work through nepotism. If Jared wasn’t involved in Walker, she would have never landed that role. Try as she might, she’d be nothing without Jared at this point.
You may be onto something with Walker being on the way out! Maybe Jared’s realizing that this show isn’t his ticket to superstardom and he’s trying to line up some back up plans. Either that or he just wants to follow in Jensen and D’s footsteps. After all, he can’t let Jensen (or anyone for that matter) have anything, can he?
You’re also 100% right about him doing anything to sell himself. We’ve seen him do it for the past few years and I don’t see him stopping anytime soon.
Bias aside, I can’t see Jared or Gen bringing anything new and exciting to the table in terms of shows. Plus, if anyone has been watching his EP skills, I can’t imagine they’d be rushing to work with him.
I guess time will tell, I just hope neither of them decide to make the leap to OnlyFans anytime soon....or ever.
