Hi,

I was thinking about a Seth x reader x embry where reader is helping Emily with something in the kitchen, and she burns her arm on like the oven or a pan, and they become a little overbearing with wanting to make sure she’s alright. All of her.

"ow!" you winced, immediately lifting your forearm away from the pan you had accidentally laid it on when you felt the burning hot metal against your skin.

"oh my god did you seriously just touch the pan?" emily asked, dropping the plate she was currently working on scrubbing into the sink full of sudsy water so she could spin around and take 2 quick steps over to you.

her delicate fingers were sliding over the injured limb, gently taking it into her hands so she could see what happened, "definitely feels like it," you whined, doing your best not to panic over the constant burning, despite how painful the initial contact was.

"okay let's run it under some cold water," emily suggested, helping you step over to the kitchen sink she was just standing at. as soon as she had lifted the faucet handle, cool water was spilling down onto the afflicted skin.

the relief was almost instantaneous, the cool water helping counteract the burning that was now permeating up and down your entire forearm, despite the burn only being a small patch on the center of your arm.

you let out a heavy sigh of relief, allowing your shoulders to drop as you exhaled. the lack of stress only lasted for a moment though before both of your boyfriends came stepping through the front door, happy smiles on their faces as they came back from patrol that they had been out on all morning.

you were looking over your shoulder to them as soon as you heard their footsteps, frowning when you realized they were most definitely going to make a huge deal out of this for no reason.

when they saw your frown, both boys were quick to step over to you, flooding your eardrums with a series of questions, "what happened?" "are you okay?" "does it hurt?" "can i help?"

you weren't entirely sure how to answer any of their questions, still frazzled from the pain and initial shock over the whole thing, "i promise she's fine," emily came to your rescue and answered for you, "just burned her arm a little bit is all," she added, already knowing both boys would be wanting all the details.

"oh pretty girl," seth cooed, cupping your face in his hands so he could get a good look at you while emily allowed your other imprinter to take her place and hold your arm under the running faucet while she went to go look for the first aid kid, "does it hurt?" seth asked, frowning when you pulled your bottom lip between your teeth as you thought about your answer for a moment before nodding.

seth's thumbs were rubbing soothing circles against your cheek bones, "it doesn't look horrible," embry said after a moment, "what were you touching?" he asked and you frowned again, allowing your gaze to meet seth's despite the blush rapidly taking over your cheeks as you thought of just how stupid the whole situation you'd gotten yourself into was.

"was jus' trying to help emily," you murmured bashfully, leaning into seth's touch as he continued his soothing motions with his thumbs, "didn't mean to touch the pan," you added with a whisper, both seth and embry frowning when they heard the shy tone of your voice and realized just how flustered you were about hurting yourself.

seth leaned down to press a quick kiss to your forehead while embry turned the faucet off, "alright, you're okay," seth reassured, "can you let me and em take a look at it?" he asked softly while embry gently dried off the skin currently not afflicted by the burn.

you nodded, sighing when seth dropped his hands from your face in favor of sliding them down to your hips so he could lift you up and sit you down on the counter. you were now facing both boys who had equally worried expressions on their faces, none of you quite sure what to do.

luckily for the three of you, emily was coming back into the kitchen with the first aid kit, quickly handing it off to embry, "can you put the petroleum jelly on her arm? i need to go check on olly," she asked, referencing her baby who you'd assumed had just woken up from his nap. embry nodded and she offered you an empathetic smile before she was spinning around to go back to oliver's nursery.

"alright can i see?" seth asked when he noticed how you had already begun cradling the injured arm close to your chest.

you slowly nodded, lowering your arm so both him and embry could see exactly how bad the burn was. when the three of you saw the small patch of skin was already red and swelling, you let out a loud whimper, eyes quickly filling with tears, "okay, okay, you're alright," embry was quick to soothe you, handing the first aid kit to seth so he could cup your jaw in his hands and turn your attention away from the burn, "doesn't hurt too bad, right?" he asked, slowly nodding with you when you bobbed your head.

"just a little burn, yea? promise it's nothing crazy," he reassured, pressing his lips to your forehead while seth ripped open the packet of petroleum jelly to apply to the burn.

"just gonna feel a little cool, okay? shouldn't hurt," seth said after a moment, both boys waiting for you to nod before seth was spreading a generous layer of the jelly to your injured arm.

he was right, it was definitely cool and quickly soothing the blistering feeling currently radiating across your entire forearm. embry was keeping a watchful eye on you, holding your jaw in his hands so he could make sure you wouldn't be looking at the burn and working yourself up again, "see? nice and easy," seth reassured as he got a bandaid loosely placed over the skin so the jelly wouldn't come off right away.

"there you go," embry cooed, offering you a small smile that had you letting out a heavy exhale, thankful for how quick both boys were to help relieve your anxiety, "why don't we go sit in the living room and get a show on for a bit, yea? we've got a while before everyone else comes over," embry suggested, referencing the pack's near weekly movie nights, one of which was supposed to be happening tonight.

you nodded, allowing embry to help you off the counter before seth was sliding his arm around your waist to guide you into the living room, "my brave girl," seth mused playfully, both boys smiling when you let out a small giggle at the compliment.

"you're gonna have to tell paul and jared all about it," embry added teasingly, already knowing how much both of them loved teasing you for being excessively cautious when it came to just about everything.

you were giggling again at the suggestion, smiling when embry pulled you down onto the couch. embry helped you curl into his side while seth sat down on the other side of you, spreading a blanket over your lap so you could get comfortable while you waited for the rest of the pack to arrive and hear the crazy story of how you survived (mildly) burning your arm.

Poly!Seth and Embry comforting reader while she's stressed about college work? Like, it's close to finals week and she has a few different papers do and she gets super anxious?

"seth," you let out a heavy sigh as his familiar fingers slid over your shoulders to knead at the tense muscles there. you had been at the library nearly all day and as soon as your got back, you were at the dining room table of your shared apartment continuing to type away as you worked on one of your countless essays due the following week.

"pretty girl," seth mirrored your comment, though his voice was much lighter than yours as he leaned down to press his lips to the crown of your head, "you should eat something, yea?" he suggested, continuing to work wonders with his fingers against your shoulders while he waited for your response.

you let out another sigh, peaking over your shoulder to see him watching you sympathetically, neither one of you happy with how stressed you were over some stupid papers. before you could open your mouth to argue with him about how you had no time to eat, your other imprinter was coming over, a small bowl in his hand as he quickly sat down in the chair next to you.

"don't even think about it," embry started, voice firm but the smile on his face gave away that he wasn't actually too interested in bickering with you all evening, "you'll feel better once you eat." he added, handing you the bowl that you were excited to discover had your favorite pasta in it, something seth had mastered soon after you had started going out.

you slowly nodded, allowing your shoulders to drop as you reached up to close your laptop so you could turn a bit to better see both boys, "thank you," you said softly, looking from seth to embry. seth gave your shoulders a gentle squeeze while embry leaned forward to press a quick kiss to your lips, both boys' affection having you giggling against embry's lips.

"you wanna put something on for a little bit? then you can go back to work," embry suggested as you pulled your knees up to your chest so you could wedge the bowl of pasta between your legs and chest while you ate.

you thought about embry's proposition for a moment, mentally running through all the things you still had to do before next week before deciding you definitely needed the break.

with a hum, you nodded, "nothing super long please," you added and embry smiled, sneaking another quick kiss against your lips before he was getting up to go grab the remote and find something to put on.

"couch?" seth asked after embry got up, smiling when you hummed and nodded, taking the bowl into your hands so seth could scoop you up and carry you over to the couch so they could work at helping you relax for a bit.

With the holidays happening, I've got a request!

Either Thanksgiving or Christmas or something else, but after dinner in the late afternoon/evening, just cuddling up with Seth or Embry (poly or separate) and just quiet talking and cuddling that leads to a nap that someone else sees and thinks it's adorable

"hey pretty thing," embry murmured, knuckling at his eyes sleepily as you came to sit down on the edge of the pull-out couch one of your boyfriends were currently attempting to sleep on, "c'mere," he mumbled, reaching his hands out blindly until he found your hips so he could pull you down to lay next to him.

you giggled as he pulled you close to him, quickly getting you under the blanket he had thrown over his figure, "missed you," he said though his voice was muffled because of the awkward way he had buried his face in the crook of your neck.

you rolled your eyes, already knowing damn well you'd been inseparable from either of your boyfriends for nearly 48 hours now, "missed you too em," you murmured, deciding to go along with his shenanigans while you threaded your fingers through his hair to soothingly scratch at his scalp.

"oh my god-" the voice of your other imprinter came from the doorway of the living room when he spotted you and embry cuddled up on the pull-out couch, "cuddling without me?" seth asked teasingly, laughing when you giggled and held your free hand out to pull him into bed with you and embry.

embry tightened his grip on you as seth laid down on the other side of you, quickly spooning you so the three of you could finally settle down and get comfortable.

the three of you had gone over to emily's for a christmas/holiday celebration and were nearly ready to burst from all the food she had made for the pack and imprintees to try out which is what led to your current situation - a borderline food coma for you, embry, and seth (and pretty much everyone else but they'd managed to sneak off earlier than the three of you so they were already passed out).

"what time do we have to be at your mom's tomorrow?" you asked seth as you rolled back into his chest a bit so you could also thread your fingers through his hair, already knowing he'd be whining about it shortly if you didn't keep it even.

"i think 11," he mumbled, already quickly starting to fall asleep from your stroking and the fatigue from doing so much this morning to help emily get ready for the celebration.

you hummed, "em your mom is still coming right? i haven't seen her in forever," you mused, smiling when embry also hummed in response to your question, offering you a small nod before he went back to drifting off.

a comfortable silence settled over the three of you then, the only sounds on the room coming from both boys' breathing as it slowly evened out and yours following shortly after as you joined them in letting fatigue take over your body.

within a few minutes of you three falling asleep, emily and sam had stepped into the living room to check on everyone and make sure no one was missing, "oh my god," emily let out a breathy laugh when she was the way both seth and embry were cuddled up on you, all three of you now totally passed out on the pull-out couch, "they're the cutest!" she beamed, spinning around to press a quick kiss to sam's lips before she was taking his hand and tugging him upstairs so the two of them could also finally get some much needed sleep.

"pretty girl?" seth called as he knocked at your apartment door, letting out a heavy sigh when you didn't answer.

both of your imprinters had managed to get sucked into patrol during a date night you three had planned all week and you couldn't have been more annoyed about it. you knew the whole supernatural shapeshifter thing was quite literally the reason you three were in a relationship in the first place but that didn't make you any less irritated about their ridiculous patrol schedules.

"we brought you some of that banana bread you like," embry called again after a moment, sighing as him and seth sat down in front of your door, already prepared to wait all day if it took that long.

thanks to their supernatural shapeshifting abilities, they knew you were inside so they weren't too concerned about looking like idiots if you weren't home.

at the sound of embry talking about sue's famous banana bread, you got up from your spot on the couch to come over to the door and sit down on the other side. both boys noticeably lit up when they heard you move over to the door, "pretty girl," seth murmured, "we're really sorry," he explained with a soft sigh, resting his head against the door as you thought through the pros and cons of letting them inside.

"we already talked to sam about it and he said he won't pair us up again unless you're okay with it," embry added and that caught your attention. they must've been more apologetic than you thought they were if they were so committed to making sure it never happened again.

after a few moments of silence, you spoke up, "you promise it won't happen again?" you asked softly, getting up so you could grab the handle of the door, already knowing their response before they said it.

"promise," both boys reassured and you unlocked the door, pulling it open so you could look at both of them.

you frowned when you saw just how distraught both boys looked. they must've been more affected by your ignoring them than you originally thought they were, "pretty girl," seth was the first to break the silence as he pulled you into a tight hug, "we're so sorry," he added as you wrapped your arms around him, hugging him back just as tight.

"i missed you," you murmured against his chest, sighing in relief when seth released you so your other imprinter could pull you into his arms, "and you too," you added when embry pressed his lips to the crown of your head.

you sucked in a few deep breaths as the three of you took in each other's presences for a moment, each of you relieved to know you were done with the stupid fight you'd been having all weekend.

"so do you wanna eat some banana bread and watch that movie we were gonna watch on friday?" seth asked softly after a moment, smiling when you nodded, offering embry one last tight squeeze before you let him go so the three of you could go into your apartment and makeup for the lost time.

"pretty girl," seth smiled when he saw you and embry spooning on emily's pullout couch in her living room. embry had put on a movie for the two of you to watch and pretty quickly passed out so you were more than happy to see your other imprinter when he got back from patrol.

you giggled, reaching your hand out to intertwine your fingers with him, quickly tugging him down so he could lay down with the two of you, "i missed you," you whispered, peeking up at seth as he got under the blanket with you and embry.

"i missed you too pretty girl," seth cooed, cupping your jaw with his hand to tug you closer to him and press a soft kiss to your lips, "embry fall asleep?" he asked softly, letting out a breathy chuckle when you nodded.

"he's been exhausted all day," you explained, peeking over your shoulder to see your other imprinter who was completely knocked out, one arm thrown lazily over your waist to hold you close to him and his other arm resting under your head as a pillow of sorts.

"yea i know," seth murmured, "too much patrol nonsense," he explained and you nodded, already knowing what he meant. sam had recently started increasing the patrol schedules for everyone in the pack because of a rogue vampire in the area that neither the pack nor the cullens could seem to catch.

"both of you have tomorrow off still though, right?" you asked softly, leaning into seth's touch as he gently stroked your jaw.

he nodded, smiling at you, "you've got us all day pretty girl," he mused, leaning forward to press another soft kiss to your lips, "now what are we watching?" he asked teasingly as he turned his attention to the movie that you and embry had on.

"i've honestly got no idea," you admitted bashfully, giggling when seth rolled his eyes at you teasingly, "can we put on that new movie you were talking about yesterday?" you asked softly and he smiled, nodding as he leaned forward to press a quick kiss to your forehead before reaching over to grab the remote.

while he got on the movie, you settled back in between both boys. embry let out a quiet groan just as seth got the movie on, "what's going on?" he grumbled, his grip on you momentarily tightening while he reoriented himself.

you giggled, peeking over your shoulder at him, "you fell asleep," you teased, pressing a quick kiss to his lips that had him chuckling.

"'m sorry pretty thing," he murmured as he lifted his hand to blearily knuckle at his eyes, "new movie?" he asked seth who nodded, smiling at the two of you.

"nice," he murmured as he settled back down, wrapping his arm around you again. seth chuckled as you tugged him down, pulling him close to you so you could curl into his chest while embry spooned you from behind.
