I wrote out another bit, for some reason. This time it's based on pokémon scar and violent instead of ace attorney, but I think it has a lot of the same energy.

(Scene: Arven and Juliana are in Nemona's dorm watching the world coronation series, live from Galar. Nemona and Juliana are sitting together, while Arven is in the kitchen, checking his phone while waiting for the food to cook. The TV shows Lance getting his arsenal handed to him by a Pikachu)

Nemona: "You know, Lance is pretty cute"

Juliana: "Really? That pretentious birdkeeper?"

Nemona: "You're joking right? Everyone knows-"

Juliana: "Everyone knows that he CALLS himself a dragon master, but I have NEVER seen him use anything but flying types"

Arven, leaning on the counter towards them with the dorkiest glass of lemonade featuring two bendy straws, lemon slice, tiny umbrella, and a normal straw that he is actually drinking out of: "Plus, his only dragon types are those three Dragonites."

Juliana:"He just calls himself a dragon master because it sounds cooler, but as soon as he faces a strong electric type in battle the ruse drops to the ground as fast as his pokemon do"

Nemona: "Ok, well, he's still a cutie!"

Juliana: "He's a basic bitch in a dumb outfit"

Nemona: "What's so bad about his outfit!?"

Arven: "Maybe the fact that it looks like something Lysander would have worn as a teenager before deciding it was too tacky"

(Juliana can barely contain her laughter)

Nemona, flustered: "NO! I mean come on you are clearly exaggerating!"

Juliana presses Nemona's nose to taunt her: "Alright, what do you think is 'cute' about Lance?"

Nemona, officially so flustered she can't even words: "Um... Well... I don't know... He got cape? He ginger? He boy?

Arven: "Cape, ginger, and boy, got it. Here's Syndrome from the Incredibles"

Juliana erupts into laughter, gripping herself as she half falls on Nemona

Nemona: "NO!!! That's not what I meant!!!!"

Arven: "You have made your argument, I have presented hard counter evidence."

Penny walks in with a pizza to see a red-faced Nemona, Juliana leaning on her side giggling hysterically, and Arven looking real proud of himself while drinking a really dumb glass of lemonade and presenting a picture of Syndrome on his phone for some Arkoos-forsaken reason.

Penny: "What's going on here?!"

Nemona:"Penny! I need help!"

Juliana, still giggling: "Nemonia thinks Lance is cute, apparently"

Penny: "Woah, she's bisexual! I didn't know that"

(Arven spits out some of his drink, blowing away the little umbrella in the process. Juliana goes back into a laughing fit, while Nemona tries in vain to cover her face with her hands while making some kind of squeaking sound. End Scene)

Any general birdkeeping advice you have?

yeah. keep their homes clean, give them space and things to engage with, nothing you wouldn't be able to get off of groovyle.

if you want my personal philosophy? unless you've got a pidgey, a pidove or an torchic, most of the bird pokemon you're going to encounter aren't domesticated. a lot of them aren't even especially social creatures.

they can be great partners, i love mine. but 90% of the time they aren't going to love you or show affection in the way that a rockruff or a growlithe will. they will be naturally ornery, they'll want their space and peck at you if they don't get it, etc. you have to respect that and speak that language if you want them to respect you back.

i've seen a lot of trainers waste their time training their pokemon to be affectionate instead of training them to be a real partner. and the only thing that gets you is a fat pidgey that knows it gets treats if it cuddles with you, and nothing else.

I zoned out and did the champions oops…What if the Pokemon champions had Digimon?

They aren’t given ultimates because ultimates are like the closest thing that Digimon have to legendaries you know before the modern Digimon ultimate bargain sale😅(except Leon but it’s intentional). Overall anyone who isn’t like the chosen one or finds a powerful plot device gets a mega in the anime. Like most literal chosen ones don’t have ultimates.

The cap of power would basically be like:

Normies: Adult

The strongest: Perfect

The chosen ones: Ultimate (literally just the main cast and sometimes not even them)

Super freaks: Super Ultimate (realistically only the mcs or main antag gets these unless it’s Savers😅)

Lance has graduated from being a birdkeeper

Machine boi

Big intimidating dragon that is owned by another strong character who likes wearing dark colors

Unfortunately there’s no Mothramon so he’ll have to settle for a butterfly

Iris gets an armored dragon like Haxorus. I considered Zudamon too.

Holy Digimon are fairy-esqe so I think it works. Also holy Digimon are really strong.

Kukui got another dog. Also he’s basically the champion so he counts.

I was thinking that Chairmon Rose uses some of the Eternatus energy to allow Leon’s partner to become ultimate without his knowledge. Like a way for him to assure that he can have his undefeated champion. Basically it’s like a subtle red flag that something is sus.

Come on we all know Geeta’s ace should have been Kingambit

Osprey, Diddy's father

Osprey belongs to @lady-zephyrine :)

Osprey was the father of Diddy. A man with a love for flying and flying-types, he has often been described by those who knew him best as being surprisingly well-grounded in reality for someone who often had his head in the clouds. He worked for the Galar Taxi Company as a cabbie, but worked on the side as a bird-keeper as well. Osprey quite enjoyed both jobs, but especially the former as it allowed him to be in the sky with the birds while also making a living to help support his family.

He was making his way back from a drop-off in the Crown Tundra one rainy afternoon when he suddenly disappeared. The last trace of his phone was found in the Slumbering Weald, but despite countless searches, only his pokemon were ever found. Currently, they are being taken care of by his parents, and were reported by the neighbors as often crying out for their trainer in the months after his disappearance.

Osprey was a Galar native, having lived with his wife and son in Hulbury. Although searches for him have long since ended and life has gone on in the past ten years he is fondly remembered by the ones who knew him best.

His team consisted of:

Guile (Braviary, male, Adamant nature)

Arturia (Corviknight, female, Brave nature)

Zephyr (Aerodactyl, female, Impish nature)

Chocobo (Galarian Zapdos, Docile nature)

Kazooie (Cramorant, female, Naughty nature)

Dusk (Crobat, male, Bold nature)

Some additional fun facts:

-Yes. That pokeball in his alternate artwork is intentional. Tee hee. :)

-While he may not appear much in the main story, he does still have birdkeepers to thank as part of his trainer inspirations. The idea of him also being a taxi cabbie came later on, although his pre-existing outfit being a close match was a happy coincidence.

-To this day, no one is quite certain how he managed to catch Zapdos of all pokemon, but he treated them with as much love and care as he did the rest of his team.

-The wing Osprey is holding in his original artwork is supposed to be one of the feather held items. I think it's either specifically meant to be either the Swift Feather or Pretty Feather, I don't quite remember which.

-Osprey had a habit of picking up Wishing Stars when he came across them.

Not my main Pokemon OC, but I'm currently fixating on her. <3

Aria is a reserved woman from Alola who goes by the flamboyant and lively popstar persona, "Calypso." Most of the time when she isn't working as Calypso, she's quiet and keeps to herself. But if you ask her about bird Pokemon she turns into an unskippable cutscene.

Raised from two notable birdkeepers on Akala Island, Aria is a bird fanatic and implements bird-like themes into her music. She can spend hours upon hours bird-watching and loves every species equally. Even with the commonbirds like Pidgey and Starly. Ask her how many feathers a Hoohoot normally has, she'll answer it in a zeptosecond.

Calypso, despite being a popstar, does not have an amazing voice. Her singing is average and she doesn't write her own lyrics, but she certainly knows how to dance/perform. Honestly, dressing up, traveling, and dancing are the only things she enjoys out of her job: the creative process and business aspects of it she absolutely despises.

Aria has little idea on what a budget is, so she spends large amounts of money spoiling her loved ones, donating to causes, and giving out incredibly generous tips. Even when it jeopardizes her own finances.

Day 15: Ramund (Ilene/Riley’s adoptive son)

Ramund and his younger sister, Sylvie, were born with a very rare kind of magic that was thought to have died out centuries ago, leading to them being adopted into the Rotan royal family. While Ramund loves his adoptive parents and elder sister, he can't help but feel burdened by the fact he and Sylvie are only there due to their powers - as much tools of the crown as family members. Nevertheless, he tries his hardest to be a dutiful son that will bring pride to his family (especially since Sylvie is rather carefree). If he had his way, however, he'd be living a quiet and peaceful life as a birdkeeper with his partner Corviknight and his other bird pokemon. He's a bit intimidating due to his resting 😐 face, but is quite a softy underneath.

Took apart my grass water birdkeeper deck and made a fighting psychic deck after trading with quin and its so much more fun to play. Wanna change stuff cause it isn't really built around a certain card or ability but now it feels less like just random cards.
