Got a quote back from Acer and it'll be over eight hundred fucking dollars to repair my computer. I've had this computer for...maybe a year and a half? And I started having issues with the power port months ago. So eight hundred dollars (realistically close to a thousand after tax and shipping costs) to maybe make it last another year until it breaks again.

What really sucks is that I got this computer for gaming. Which I haven't been doing much the past year because I got heavily into writing a fanfic. (and now because the power port is fucked and will overheat if I try to run literally anything other than a web browser) So I essentially bought a $1200 TMNT fanfiction machine.

(gonna rant because I have nobody else to vent to) And tomorrow I have to go to a fucking baseball game. I know that makes me sound like a spoiled brat, but I don't fucking like baseball. My sister got my mom tickets for her birthday and I felt like I had to. I don't like baseball, I don't like crowds, and my phone battery is not going to last the whole game.

I tried to get out of it but my sister was like "I don't like baseball either but it's okay! We'll drink beer and have a ton of fun!" Yeah, I'm sure you will. My mom and my sister are both extroverts. When they're together they talk constantly, talk over me, or just flat out ignore me. (and then accuse me of being antisocial because I do something else, rather than just...sit there and listen to their conversation rapaciously, I guess) Plus my sister's bringing two of her friends. Who are nice people, I like them, but still. So I'm just going to be fucking sitting there awkwardly while everyone talks around me. For hours.

Also today my mom's like "We'll get there early and take the rail! We'll just walk around for an hour, there will be so much do DO and SEE!" It's a giant fucking cattle run for people. We've been there before. Yes, we can go look at the exact same shirts they sell at Target, marked up 300%. How interesting.

i don't mind discomfort* but my shoes came apart at the seams so i had to buy a new pair and they are the same type as my old ones (that i dismissed after eight years of service because they had genuine holes in the leather) but they really don't flatter my always bad look and they weren't cheap but i needed them but it was a big expense i wasn't expecting to have right now but it was kinda necessary but now i am running down a semi-suicidal spiral

Last weekend Retro Gaming con was a BLAST!

It was my first time joining a very niche event, and my booth was kinda out of place coz it was so pinkish and girly, but never once I felt unwelcomed there! I was so overwhelmed by people liking my stuff especially when they learned that I made everything by hand 😭

I was even approached by a local toymaker and asked for an art collab 🥺

I felt like I was running my own poll of Who's the Most Popular Zelda characters 🤣

For those who are curious, TOTK Link won 1st place, followed by ALBW Zelda (she got an edge coz one buyer thought she was Sailor Moon lol). OOT Link and TP Link are fighting for 3rd place while TP Zelda falls on the 4th. I think if I made some WW and ALTTP characters, the ranking might end up differently lol

Next con will be in January and after that well, that depends if I get another invite or lead again 😆

I looooove the idea of Mastermind Hajime Hinata acting like his regular self even after he's found out, at least at first. Like he pulls an opposite of Junko and it's hard to believe he's the mastermind at first, but he is, and as the last trial goes on, it's impossible to deny. He still acts like he cares about Class 77, despite it truly coming from a place of hatred for those with talent. He's a mastermind who's really just an average guy that got slighted by the world. A man consumed by envious desire, so much so that he decided the one way to get a talent was to eliminate all the other ones. After a while, of course, his mask would begin to slip- his blunt yet caring attitude becoming more and more of an act as the truth is revealed to the survivors. That he enjoyed watching them suffer, and wanted them all gone.

I would imagine that in this au, Hajime was rejected for the Izuru Kamukura project, or it was uncovered before his involvement and shut down. He would be let go from the reverse course, unable to even be in Hopes Peak's "talentless" courses. After dropping out, he'd keep tabs on everyone in the school in an attempt to cause some sort of harm before meeting her- Junko. He converses different plans to defame the school and works with her, despite his disdain for someone like her. It escalates from there until the tragedy, both of them intending to stab the other in the back at one point, up until the events of DR1, when Junko dies. He continues his plans to eliminate those with talents in the Neo World Program, and likely ends up being the only one who doesn't wake up.

Or maybe he does partake in the Izuru project, but it goes wrong. He doesn't get any talents, and instead ends up disfigured and cast to the side by Hope's Peak after it's all said and done, resulting in an intense hatred for how the world treats the talented like they walk on gold, and people who are like him like garbage. I imagine this version of Mastermind Hajime could eventually be rehabilitated and actually like Class 77, regretting everything he'd done.
