I'm not a larrie so you can disagree I hope you don't mind.Tbh I think the song is about abortion but I don't think it has anything to do with him. I don't think he'd just go around and record the song especially knowing what kind of fan base he has. The song didn't make it to the album so no one knows the context I think it's probably like Matilda it's for someone else maybe. Some Harries were saying he said writing is like therapy for him so even if he wrote it do they really think he'd go to a studio sing it in front of people and record it and let others listen to it. Maybe it's for someone who he's close with and just wants them to know it's okay not everything has to be romantic. Here we are talking about a man who values his privacy so I don't think he'd go around letting others know such personal info. And saying he has changed a lot so probably this is the reason for it doesn't make sense at all this song was supposed to be on fineline he looked pretty fine during the promo tbh he didn't even look heartbroken at all like he claims he does sorry not sorry. The Pandemic did change a lot of people so I don't know why when it comes to harry people think the worst. I kinda liked pub anon but the moment she said hendall was real they were young stupid and in love I was like nah she's also a fan and she's the one who pointed out how fake ho was and then praised Kylie and timothee which is obvs pr. she also said Camille was real idk for me haylor , hendall , hamille and ho were obv pr. What he's doing now i don't even consider it as anything . I'm not some crazy harry who thinks all his relationships are fake/pr and living my fantasy . He's the only one who said what we see is work and he has never dated anyone public and maybe if his team didn't follow the textbook pr method then it would've been more believable.

Hi, love. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I actually agree with you. To me, that song doesn’t seem like it has anything to do with his and Louis’ relationship (however you see their relationship). I see it more along the lines of Matilda, in that he wrote it about someone else or from the POV of someone else.

I have no idea why people seem to, more often than not, be assuming the worst when Harry in involved in things. But they’re always right there ready to pounce and drag him. It’s bizarre to me.

I unfollowed Pub anon during holivia because she very clearly disliked Harry almost as much as Olivia. Plus, she worshipped Camille and believed that relationship was real which just says to me that you know nothing. And now you’re saying she thinks Kylie and Timothée are real? Please.

i know theres still almost two days left to the poll i posted but after 66 votes, I don't think there will be any more people who will give their opinions.

I made a few decisions based on the answers from the poll i got so here they are.

1-I'm starting a new Niall story called Dating For Dummies. It will be updated every saturday (no specific time) and it's a smut, comedy and romance story (as usual). there is an update list where you can add your username and i will notify you when its posted. 2-there are a few Niall stories i want to continue and hopefully finish. the main ones being : Babygirl and Headlines. I do not give up on them and i will try to update them from time to time too if people are interested. 3-I will continue my Louis story called I Almost Care because i love Louis, i love the idea of this story, i know exactly where it's going, and I'm thinking of making it also a weekly update. 4-i want to write a Nouis + ofc story but i'm leaning towards a oneshot or a very short story so if you want to give me your opinion on that, it would mean a lot. 5-if you want me to stop writing... seriously just unfollow me and ignore me. keep being a hater, no one cares :)

Alright Toni, since you decided to get on this public platform and start insulting me and dragging my name in the mud, seemingly out of the blue then fine, I'll bite and give you the attention you crave.

For reference, this is the post they are referring to, that I made back in September, criticizing the gross implication that Louis enjoys being subjected to racism and being emasculated by white men. A post in which btw I did not even mention your name.

And this was the other post I made some time before that, expressing my dislike for the prevalence of what I consider to be harmful racist and homophobic tropes in this fandom—which earned me a series of hateful comments and anonymous messages, no doubt coming from all those lovely people in your comments who are calling me names and accusing me of all sorts of things simply for daring to disagree with the great Masterletters.

Well, newsflash Buddy being black does not place you above criticism when you say some dumbass racist shit. Nor does it give you the right to bully and harass other fans for expressing opinions you don't like.

I will reiterate the same thing I said a month ago: Me expressing my opinions on my own blog, in posts that I usually don't even tag, is not me policing other writers.

I am allowed to say that I dislike certain tropes and find the way they are written in this particular fandom—especially when it comes to Louis—homophobic, dehumanizing and racist. That is my opinion and you're more than free to disagree with it.

I don't comment on any of your fics, nor do I come onto your account or in your inbox to tell you what to write. And I have never attacked other fans anonymously. When I have something to say I will always do so from my own account. Hiding behind vague posts and anonymous hate messages is you and your friend's MO, not mine.

Since you all seem so convinced you're the bestest writers in this fandom and your interpretation of these characters is the only correct one, then great. Keep doing you! After all, I'm just a talentless nobody who is sooo jealous of your brilliant writing skills, so why do you even care so much about what I think? Why are you so obsessed with me to the point of continuing to stalk me and talk about me even long after I've blocked you?

It's always funny to me that you and your friends want to act like the moral authorities in this fandom, harassing and bullying other writers to the point that several of you got banned from discord servers and are blocked by half of the people on here for the nasty way you behave, and yet you still fail to see the irony of you perpetrating the same racist and harmful tropes in your own writing you claim to denounce. And you certainly seem to have no issue targeting any other black fans who dare to disagree with your very narrow interpretation of these FICTIONAL characters. You think it feels "off" that I called you 'kang' and yet it's okay for you and your friends to call me and other black fans coons, race traitors and other derogatory racial slurs?

As you said so yourself, I have never interacted with you and as a matter of fact, I have most of your little group blocked, both on here and on any other platform, and carefully avoid any and all interactions with any of you. So I would appreciate it if you keep my name out of your fucking mouth!

September was such a difficult month to deal with I ignored my own birthday on my own blog, as I was very busy procrastinating, and in general the day passed by somehow quietly and uneventfully...

BUT! I’ve decided that I won’t stand on ceremony with anyone anymore, so long live the local shock content like this just because I can 💅🏻 All non-icons and non-legends can feel free to unfollow right now, because on sep 27th, the great and incomparable ICON, LEGEND and even LIBRA celebrated his day! - it's Louis XIII❗

Yes, he turned 421 the previous year, he's a relatable miracle and any yellow press about him infuriates the heck out of me (and it'S literally almOST EVERYWHERE WTF even in articles where it's like 50% of actual facts). You probably think "ahh yes louis xiii the noname from the musketeers" and oh boy if only u knew :"((( It is especially sad that in this book, which on one hand at least somehow promoted him, he is still completely different from how he was like irl.

Dumas, of course, is not particularly to blame, but it just hurts me that these stereotypes are so tightly stuck to my precious Louis that many people judge him based either on them or on the shite written by his ancient haters from the 17th century who simply could not make it in p0litics or whatever...

All this seemed to me illegally unfair on every possible level of unfairness, which made me start spreading my love for this historical figure from this little birthday drawing!

I remember how I had much more fun that day than on my own birthday ahaha, I would even say that it was the happiest day of the year. I drew this drawing while listening to "Ballet de la Merlaison" and it was so heartwarming that I caught some kind of euphoria, as if it was my second birhday ❤️

PSA: not a larrie

I feel like I might have some chill larrie moots and in case they aren’t chill it’s only right that I tell you that I’m a pretty chill anti. I mean chill in the sense that I used to be extremely vocal about it, but now I just view it as a black and blue/white and gold dress situation. We view it differently.

I personally don’t think anyone has any business assigning someone a sexuality, never mind assigning a whole ass closeted relationship to two people. Louis was very vocal about Larry in his tweet in 2012 and I know there’s a theory about that tweet and whatnot, but for me it went like this:

I entered the fandom in 2011 and my friend (who was an x factor fan) basically introduced me like “This is Zayn, he’s vain and mysterious, this is Liam, he’s a cupcake, he’s afraid of spoons and he’s the dad of the group, this is Niall, he loves food, especially Nando’s, this is Harry, he’s really cheeky, this is Louis and he’s mischievous and Harry and Louis are our resident homosexuals. (Did I, at one point have the “I’m in love with five homosexuals that can’t dance” type blog? Yes. Carrot memories are super cringey and don’t define me, please and thank you).

Did I think Larry was a thing during the X factor and when they lived together? Yeah, a little bit. Then Harry started dating Caroline and Louis started dating Eleanor and I was like “ok maybe not”. I’m reticent to dig deeper and analyse it too much because it’s a private thing. Do I think Harry and Louis joked a lot about it because it was everywhere? Absolutely. Do I think management closeted them? No, I always thought that was a decision they made because it was upsetting to Eleanor, and Louis is extremely protective. It would not shock me if the reason Harry and Louis stopped being best friends was because Harry was ready to ride it out but Louis couldn’t stand having someone he was in a relationship with/loved was being hurt, because of how protective he is. But again, I’m super reticent to dig too deep.

Because of Tiktok and Twitter not really being very blacklist/filter friendly I’ve accidentally viewed a lot of Larry content and suffice it so say that, no I don’t think they know about green/blue etc etc. I absolutely don’t think the checkered clothing this was a “clue” because it was literally a fashion trend at the time. Absolutely unfollow me if you don’t think Freddie is Louis’ son.  

I don’t think they’re gonna speak out, because the situation is infected. When Louis tweeted “Larry is the biggest bullshit” people were threatening suicide and all kinds of things. Imagine knowing that if you speak out against Larry, people will threaten suicide. Imagine, hypothetically that they are in a closeted relationship and decide to come out, knowing that a portion of the dark larries will send death threats to antis. AND the thing is - they could speak out, and someone would find an angle. There’s always an “it’s management” angle with Larries. If they ever spoke out about it properly I would actually shit myself because it’s not exactly a high reward situation.

There are a lot of layers to this, and I’ve had a lot of interesting conversations with larries that turned antis etc and viewed it as a cult-like environment. My ask is open for people who wanna talk about how they feel about the discourse and to discuss how they feel about being larries/antis. 

My ask is not open for Larries that want to “prove me right”. I’ve seen everything, I’ve read everything, you will not change my mind. This is not a hateful statement, and it is not a homo/biphobic statement, it is a “this is how i view the facts at a surface level” statement. They do not owe us anything below the surface. It. Is. Not. For. Us.

In summation: their PRIVATE lives are not for us. Their sexualities are not for us. They are not Taylor Swift, who readily welcomes and even now sometimes weaponizes who her songs are about. We get glimpses and we can interpret them and relate to them, but at no point have we been invited to poke and prod a relationship people have projected onto them. That is why I sometimes have beef with larries.

That's no fun :( For starters- while Louis did let slip that sure, he wouldn't object to FITF being commercially successful (like once) he's said many, MANY more times that it is NOT his priority. He seems to have a very healthy relationship to the idea of it being a hit, like wouldn't that be a kick?! But it would be a fun extra, not the goal. When asked to define success for himself recently, he said it was to be happy with the music he's making and that he is, he's said many times in the past he defines success as being able to tour, he issued a whole manifesto letting us know that he would be pursuing something other than commercial success with this album before he even began writing it- the man knows the industry and he knew what he was choosing, and yesterday he told us yet again that he is on twitter a couple times a day and sees a lot more than people think. This last one is connected I believe; all of this talk about what kind of success he wants isn't something he's telling the GP, he's telling US, he's telling YOU. He's literally saying, chin up love, I'm good. Please stop worrying about me! Because he sees the discourse and what people say, and he is addressing it directly. So you know, who needs me when LOUIS has himself addressed the topic!

But what I would say? I would say that I think this isn't about him, it's about us. He's literally a multimillionaire living his absolute best life and *loooving it* right now, but we aren't! We're just Common People trying our best to survive a brutal and miserable world that attacks us every day with more stresses and fear, and we turn to fandom and to Louis to have something NICE, something that feels good and doesn't make us want to cry. So when that escape is full of negativity or isn't going the way we want it to it really feels like shit and hits hard. And the like ideal world answer to that problem is to go all Louis and say paradise is in your own mind, don't rely on stuff outside you for happiness because you can't control it so it may let you down at any time, but I know- that's high level goals, that's not necessarily realistic in the day to day. What you can do though is remember that the idea of being here in this fandom is that it's supposed to give you happiness and ease and relief from the outside world, and once you've remembered that it makes it easier to see how to fix where it's going wrong. UNFOLLOW EVERYONE WHO POSTS CONTENT THAT MAKES YOU FEEL STRESSED OUT! Literally. Just do it. Mean harries OMG why would you want to see that?!? Block. Bye. People making fun of his voice??!! Literally insane and definitely on the wrong side of history, laugh at them, and then block. Anyone who thinks Louis *can't* write a number one hit in his sleep is honestly stupid, he wrote dozens?? The man wrote so many he got bored of it and was like, guess I'll take on a new challenge now... (If it was by 1D and it was a banger...!) Who cares what they say? I didn't know Louis got a bad review in the Guardian! And that's fine! I don't care!! I saw that important indie music magazine NME gave him 4/5 :))) That was nice. News I can use! I come here and scroll down my dash and see everyone being happy and showing me Louis being happy and it's nice and it's fun. Unfollow everyone you don't know that posts that stuff, if you have friend blogs you feel like you can't unfollow, blacklist all their tags or their name so you don't see the negative content. Find new blogs. If you feel like you can't make the leap to actually unfollow people, try making a separate tumblr (like from a diff email) and just following no stressful blogs and try that dash for a while without changing your old follows, just see what it's like. Every time you see something that makes your stomach clench, unfollow or blacklist. See if it could work out for you.

Listen: I know everyone says this, and people are just like suuure but I can't actually do that, I need to know what's happening but I PROMISE- nothing important is actually happening with all that! On the rare occasion it's actually interesting or whatever, it'll cross over. Unstressful people will talk about it in a less stressful way, either to discourse or to make fun, and you'll find out, and you won't have missed anything. Seriously- try it. I know it *feels* like we owe it to Louis to stress about this stuff or something, like if we don't think about it we're letting him down or something but that's just anxiety thinking! It's magical thinking: if I don't reblog the good luck post something bad will happen. If I tap in a certain pattern it will protect me. If I keep on top of everything people are saying about Louis I can help him. Magical thinking is a symptom of anxiety disorders, and no shame in that who doesn't have fucking anxiety these days, but it also FEEDS them, and the last thing we all need is more anxiety. Care for yourself by giving yourself the gift of an easy and pleasurable online experience! I want that for you and so would Louis.

I debated whether i should answer your ask or not. For one, we don’t call other people by derogatory terms like that. It's okay to vent, but be respectful. Secondly, i don't like talking about other bloggers like that. Amy can best answer why she's not participating in fandom anymore. We don’t need to guess, she's still blogging and she can speak for herself.

In general, i think this fandom is wary about fans turning on Louis and Harry while attributing everything shit that's happening to them, and to us fans, as h and l's own choice and making. That creates a bad fandom environment and you are technically not a fan anymore. If people stop being a fan, that's fine and understandable. However, if you are going to continue being in fandom, and the only thing you're doing is critisise them and blame them for the things that is happening to them, without showing them love now and then, then you're better off leaving. Don’t rain on everyone elses parade. This fandom has had enough people turning antis, rads or written long manifests about why louis and harry are the worst, but staying in fandom. If you are not feeling it anymore, just leave quietly.

If i ever end up just hating on harry or louis, and not wanting the best for them or fandom anymore, please let me know lol.

Well, @cockslvtharry isn't really on hiatus--Louis's dick provides!--but there are LOADS (ahem) of blogs that give that kind of content, just as there are (frankly too) many that don't, you just have to go on a deep blog hunt to find them. And I just have to go on record as saying, horsegirlharry spoke the truth to the very WORST kind of weirdos in the one direction fandom, but she also got doxxed and harassed and hounded for it, so she rightly left all that noise behind, she didn't "get deactivated," she took control and said fuck off--and the bullshit behind that is indicative of the biggest problem within the one direction fandom, that the absolute biggest cunts still run it, you have to unfollow a LOT of that to see any kind of difference on your dash. I'm always amazed at the loyalty to assholes--like, there are TERRIBLE people running the bigger blogs, and they aren't your friend, they don't care about your psyche, they care about those sweet sweet notes.
