We still haven't heard back from my husband's family

(UPDATE: We have received confirmation that they're alive, however they have no electricity or phone signal, and the hurricane blew off a large part of the roof of their house. Their extended family from out of the city is going to try to take two weeks worth of groceries to them. We're going to be sending all money we can to them as soon as we can)

I'm really sorry to make this post because I've already asked for help with stuff earlier this year but... I really have no option. We haven't heard from my husband's family in Acapulco since hurricane Otis hit, and we're starting to get really worried. Even if they're alive, their house might have been damaged/destroyed because material damages to the city were terrible.

In case we don't hear from them soon, he wants to be able to travel back to mexico and try to check up in person. In case we hear back from them soon, he wants to be able to send them money to support themselves through the aftermath of the disaster.

However, we're just barely making ends meet ourselves and we don't really have the money to afford a plane flight on such short notice, so he's opening up emergency donations/commissions. Two more examples for my upcoming cat-dragon YCH adopt shop! I had such a struggle figuring out how to make undertides act like cats when they don't have legs, but I'm so in love with the result!! She looks so proud of herself hehe

Doing an example for each YCH base helps me catch tons of tiny little mistakes before I make them publicly available. I had to adjust the lineart for both of these as I was working on them!

Help Please! Commissions! Art for Doodles! Drive to Immediately Stabilize!

So I have a little under 80 days as of this writing to make about $8,000.00 - $10,000 USD

I have been struggling without work. Unpayed bills from the past few months have piled up. I've lost so much already, and I'm at risk of losing even more. On top of that, I need to move halfway across the country by the end of October, since the family I'm staying with is moving out of the country. I can't really follow them with my financial situation.

This escalation happened about a week after I had finally reached a point where I'm able to complete commissions and take in new ones. So now I have additional plans and schedules and stuff that need to be done... Additional money needs to be made, and fast, before I can settle into a more sensible work flow.

So... I'm doing everything. EVERYTHING! Whatever I can do! It's crunch time x1000!

Hi, I'm a digital artist open for commission! I like drawing people in soft, kinda watercolor-like style and children's books vibe.

What I can draw for you:

Character art according to the reference image(s) you provided.

SFW art only. All private parts should be covered.

I mostly draw humanoid characters and don't have much experience drawing anthro, but you can give it a shot.

Multiple characters and couples (the price indicated is for one character, total = price x character number).

Additional fee:

Animated art: I can make the character blink, give you a smile or add movement to a small body part (fingers, animal ears etc)/surroundings

Highly detailed: the character design is very complicated and will take more time to draw; think Genshin Impact characters, as an example

Background: as proxy, just add some blurry colours, gradients or patterns, but this option is for those who want background art (please note that highly detailed environment art is out of my skillset, the background will be simpler/less detailed than the character(s))

The fee will be calculated based on the difficulty of the work. It can cost up to $50 for each option.

Urgent commission: if you need the piece to be finished fast or before a particular date, please tell me that, and I'll see if I can do that. It is possible, but not always a requirement, that I'll ask for an additional payment, if your deadline will require me to make significant changes to my schedule.

How I work:

I'll start working on your piece after I receive the full payment. (Payment process is described, again, here)

I will show you a rough sketch first and wait for your confirmation of the pose and composition. Then the flat-colored lineart or sketch, and wait for you to check if I got the character design right. After that, you'll receive the finished artwork. There'll be additional steps in case your commission includes animation or background. Corrections to what you've already confirmed, as in, changing the pose after I've sent you the lineart, will only be made for additional fee.

I will try to provide you with a decent estimation of when I'll finish your commission based on my schedule and the difficulty of the work, but generally, it will take 2 weeks/14 days ~ 3 month/90 days.

If, for some reason, I am unavailable to deliver your commission, you'll be provided with full refund regardless of whether I started working on the piece or not. Also feel free to ask for a refund yourself if you haven't received your piece in 90 days after you made the payment. However, in any other situation, trying to get refunded through the service after I started working on your piece without trying to contact me will get you blacklisted.

So making this post for me really but here is my plan of what I'm doin'

Gonna use Commishes to auction YCH (Your Character Here) I'm also gonna put it in my Kofi shop however it's going to be really expensive (either it will be $50-$100) because it's an item that is being auction.

Once I'm done auctioning the item (as in I'm no longer/taking a break of auctioning the YCH) the kofi one will be cheap as either $10-$25 till I decide to auction the item again.

At the moment, I'm making stickers and brain storming ideas.

Incase you did not see the post. One of my dogs gum tumor (I'm calling it a gum tumor because that is the closest I could find similar to it) fell out or he ripped it out (we don't know) and his mouth was bleeding. The vet rejected on taking us in (it was busy and I didn't make an appointment because his mouth was just bleeding a lot). On the 30th he has an appointment to get his mouth check and then I'll have to make him a dentist appointment. It's going to be expensive so please bare with me and don't be afraid on giving me some ideas (like stickers ideas or a character to draw and sell as stickers, maybe prints as well? Don't worry I'll credit you for giving me the idea :-) The credit will look like this [Title] Idea by [Your Username] Thank you! putting together an incredibly optimistic lineup of poses I want to make for the sequence of Lake and Lucio fucking... (Though I admit it’s tempting to make it generic ‘ych’ stuff entirely because I do not want to draw all the details on his prosthetic. If everything is totally drawn out and for some reason he just has a golden hand is if I start trying I’ll spend 4 days making accurate arms for all frames and then I will hate the project and never finish it so his hand is just gold because I’m absolutely garbage at mechanisms. also I would have to deal with the details of ‘would it be more than the regular level of painful if he stuck his thumb up Lake’s ass?’ which I don’t want to. all things considered I should make it some super fuckable anime girl and use ych as a raffle but I want to draw Lake in a bunch of sex positions. other plans for Gawain as well but I gotta check some things. right now I cannot muster the energy to try and focus on drawing so I’m playing ‘collect references until I don’t feel like chewing off my own fingers’ right now.

if I did ych stuff do you think anyone would be interested in buying a slot? I’ve made some decent steps lately in art improvement so I think someone might be interested. idk gotta get some finished projects before I get too ahead of myself.... So many ideas and no time or motivation. the choose your own adventure idea I had was gonna be like do the Lake sequence as a series of audience choices like ‘ass or pussy’ ‘fast or slow’ ‘inside or outside’ kinda business and have the pov figure do the voted action but I don’t think enough people would vote.... But it’s a decent plan for a future game if I get my interaction back up (I know I’ve been distant lately. I’ve been so damn tired lol. and I keep losing too much time trying to catch up on tumblr, so I’m letting a lot of things go, but as a result I miss a bunch lol. feel free to send an ask or message if you wanna ask me something. I have a discord I can share with people but right now I’m not feeling like engaging in active conversation. might chat about smutty ship picture ideas? if you have thoughts please feel free to share them, I am not sure what I’ll get done but if nothing else I can start putting together reference pictures and make a collage monster like I did yesterday lol.

also anyone have a podcast rec that’s fast paced and entertaining enough that I don’t phase it out while I look for stuff but does have enough of a backlog that I can listen for a while without having to take a break and look for something new? bonus points for some kind of horror or mystery element? I haven’t been able to get into something enough to play it as my side media while I work and somehow that has seriously hindered my ability to work. =/ adhd problems? anyway I’ve listened to the magnus archive so not that one.

Coming home after work to just draw and write for a bit. Been getting back to writing Creed and Dinn's story (on Ch 5 atm), as well as getting to some YCH's and requests. It's tiring, but I like it.
