im replaying play it safe and i love that lil moment when Johnny realises Smasher is still alive and kicking - and you can almost hear the click in his brain when he redirects his frustration, then he straight-up says:

"Seein' as I woke up in a world without any Saburo, I'll have to be satisfied with Smasher."

heungmin haters are so funny. they see a player get like 14 goals + 5 assists (involved in almost 20 goals for his club #sad), suffer from a fractured eye socket and not get much time to recover after surgery cause he's the captain of his national team and knows the importance of his presence during a fucking world cup + that it could be his last chance to play one, be played in every position except his own, still give his all every time through exhaustion + again no time to fully recover from injury + all the hate and criticism and racism he's experiencing during the season, then see him slowly get back into form and once again help the team even in a position that doesn't let him shine as bright as he and we are used to, even in defense, and oh let's not forget they see him constantly take the blame and apologize, more than anyone despite how it's a team sport and not even the manager took responsibility

they see all this and go "sonny had a shit season how can people like and defend him". literally so funny. i suggest actually watching football and caring for players as people too, cheers!
