YES!!! I mean I'm now going to ramble about percybaster but this totally fits as percaethabaster too (mostly mine and phoenix's ramblings tbh)

Ok ok Al who's been at camp since he was a kid, all alone in the Poseidon cabin, not allowed to go outside the camp because of what happened to Thalia and people mostly avoiding him bc. Big Three kid.

He's lonely! He has double daddy issues from both Poseidon and Mr. Torrington! He only has a handful friends! Kronos found himself a perfect opportunity!

Insert Percy

Tlt goes mostly the same. Luke steals the bolt and the helm. Poseidon and Zeus are at eachother's throats. Al is snippy bc he's half sure Zeus wants to kill him more now. His friend Annabeth wants to know if he knows something. (He does the voice in his dreams have a finger on it but he won't tell her that!)

Percy comes to camp in the same way. Turns out being the son of a Titannes attracts a lot of monsters. Aka the Minatour. Sally instead of being taken by Hades (bc he doesn't have any reason to blame Percy) gets saved by Hecate and they're casually chilling in the Underworld during the whole time. Percy still thinks she died tho

Al takes Annabeth, Grover and Percy on his quest bc he doesn't give a single fuck about the rules.

Al leaves with Luke that summer. No scorpion scene ensures. Percy is told Al joined Kronos but he doesn't want to believe it.

Until he comes face to face with Al in SoM.

So now we have Al as the Ta's leader, Luke as his general/advisor, Silena as the spy and Ethan and Chris as his lieutenants

Al and Percy secretly meet up a lot. They're dating. Luke knows this and helps/covers up for Al (also does the threatening when they need to bc he knows Al can't threaten his bf). Ethan also knows but no one knows he does. Annabeth also also knows but Percy only learns this after The Percybaster Breakup.

Yeah, so, every time they meet they slightly argue about Kronos but also brush it off quickly. Until Al tells him he'll be Kronos's host that is. Percy is obviously upset and angry. Al tells yells him he doesn't have a choice in the matter. Cue they yell at eachother and Al storms off. The next time Percy sees him is as Kronos. :)

And Hecate Percy, right?! He's the only sibling in Chb! The rest are in Ta! He fought Lou in the labyrinth instead of Ethan! He has to fight the rest in Botl and BoM! He loves his mom and knows she loves him too but they're on opposite sides!

BoM rolls around. Alabaster inherited the Earthshaker part and Kronos uses this! It's the reason Williamsburg Bridge is destroyed. And the roads of Manhattan are in shambles.

In throne room Annabeth manages to reach out to her old friend and Percy hands Al the knife. Al dies.

Except. That's whet everyone else thinks bc Poseidon, not wanting his son to die, turned him into a fish. Al is very much not impressed.

It's OK Hecate turns him back during Hoo and he joins the Argo when Hazel visits Hecate. He's so worried/scared when he learns Percy and Annabeth are in Tartarus.

Percybaster get back together during Boo

That end scene with the gods in Boo, a summary;

Al: YOU TURNED ME INTO A FISH?!?!

Poseidon: Would you rather I let you die??

The rest of the Olympians: ...we would actually.

Also Hazel and Percy bonding on magic.

Honorable mentions: Luke getting the canon Al treatment and getting exiled, Chris and Ethan death swap, the Ta massacre still happening so Percy losing almost all of his sibs.

My personal vision of Bianca in the Godswapped Percico AU was originally that she would die when Zeus originally found them, Poseidon only capable of pulling a last minute stunt to salvage Nico's life after he's already entered The Underworld, having to almost beg his older brother Hades to allow him to dip Nico in The River Lethe and bring him back up to the world of the living.

But Bianca's death is such a core aspect of Nico's and Percy's main conflict throughout all the series, that she definitely gotta be there.

So I think she would just join the Huntresses of Artemisa like in the original, and they wouldn't find out who her father is before her death.

Poseidon wouldn't gain anything from claiming her, it would be a meaningless gamble to take, so he just wouldn't take it.

I also don't think he would have any special deeper interest on Maria nor Nico either.

Bianca wouldn't be able to destroy the skeleton soldiers like in canon but she would split the ground open with an earthquake and send them back to The Underworld, accidentally.

It hurts Nico like hell when Percy doesn't come back with his sister, and he can't even complain, it's not like he wasn't warned against trusting Percy so much.

I don't remember if I've talked about the TA Godswap, I think I have? If not then I would be happy to talk about it again. I've also played with the idea of percy/al/ethan/annabeth god swap bc its FUN. also also not technically a god swap but there's the Greek/Roman swap au where they get mismatched. BUT !! I think Poseidon!Silena is very cool okay, Aphrodite was born from sea foam so it's cool to correlate her children to Poseidon! And Aphrodite!Percy is so <3333 giving him charmspeak makes me think of sirens in a way so I think its fitting!

I can't take away Alabaster's unsettling cthonic kid vibe so he needs to be a son of Hades or Pluto and Pluto works because it means Hecate!Hazel. I feel like I don't need to explain further.

Will and Nico GodSwap AU (Warning: Long Post)

Warning, this is a long post. Okay, so I came up with this GodSwap AU with Nico and Will, but with a twist. Will would be a child of Hades, but everyone accepts and adores him, while everyone is scared and ostracizes the child of Apollo Nico because of his plague powers.

For this AU, The Great Prophecy involves a child of Apollo. The prophecy Oracle Delphi foretold involves the rise or fall of Olympus by a demigod child of the Big Three and Apollo’s if born with the plague. Everything about Nico and Bianca Di Angelo’s past is the same (born in the 30s, raised in the Lotus Casino, Zeus struck down their mother), the only difference is Apollo puts them in the Lotus Casino. Neither of their memories are wiped, so the kids are often confused by the change of time when they leave the Lotus.

Apollo convinced Zeus, he killed Nico and Bianca when he struck Maria, and that one of them had the plague power, making his end of the prophecy impossible to accomplish. All the Olympians agree, allowing Apollo to continue having other children. 

When Bianca and Nico are taken from Westover Hall by Percy and friends, and accompany Apollo on his chariot, Apollo pretends not to know them and doesn’t claim them in order to protect them from Zeus. 

Bianca still joins the Hunters, and Nico is left at camp when the others go to rescue Annabeth and Artemis. Of course, without being claimed, Nico is stuck in the Hermes cabin. Then something strange starts happening around camp. Slowly but surely, a lot of rats start appearing around the camp and soon campers started getting sick.

Now onto Will Solace’s backstory:

Will is still born and raised in modern time and knew he was a demigod from a young age. Hades would frequently visit Will and Naomi, but he doesn’t claim Will to protect him (same reason as Apollo). Hades taught Will how to Shadow travel and trained him in using a Stygian Iron. When monsters started noticing Will, Hades informed his son that he will have to go to Camp Half-Blood, but to keep his identity as the son of Hades a secret. So Will attends the camp as an unclaim in the Hermes cabin, and actually arrives a month or two before Nico does. 

Having a death sense, Will felt an odd aura around Nico ever since he befriended the boy. At first, Will thought Nico was going to die soon, but soon Will understood that Nico was the holder of the plague and is essentially spreading the potential of death around him. Will decides to keep Nico’s secret because he was pretty sure Nico didn’t even know he had the plague. 

To pacify the spread of the plague, Will helps out in the infirmary, since, as a child of Hades, he can diagnose a person’s sickness. This gave everyone the impression that Will was an unclaimed child of Apollo and was essentially taken under the Apollo cabin’s wing.

At one point, Will uses his powers to protect someone, revealing he was a child of Hades all this time, surprising everyone. Instead of everyone being scared of Will because of his parentage, everyone continues to like him because of his kindness and help in the infirmary.

When Percy comes back without Bianca, Nico lashes out, soon after his hands started getting glowing green and rats started appearing. That’s when everyone realizes Nico was the fated son of Apollo with the plague powers, and he was the cause of the recent flu outbreak in the camp. Just like in the books, Nico runs into the forest, but Will runs after him since he was immune to Nico’s plague. 

Sadly, Will lost sight of Nico. With his death sense, Will knew Nico was still alive somewhere. So Will alternates between camp and shadow traveling around the world in order to find Nico. Later on, Will found out Nico (being a son of Apollo) can travel through light of any kind: moonlight, sunlight, artificial light (light bulbs, streetlight, lamps, fire light). Nico is the only child of Apollo who can Light Travel in that century. 

So for the most part, Will was trying to track Nico down, while Nico was trying to avoid Will. Sometimes, they encounter each other, but Will could never convince Nico to come back and Nico just light travels away, restarting their cat and mouse chase. 

Before Will and Nico’s identities were revealed, he and Nico were fast friends. Nico was the overly talkative one, while Will was the listener. It was Nico who befriended Will, because he often saw him alone. In actuality, Will liked being alone, it gave him time with his thoughts. Before coming to camp, people thought Will was the 'weird, quiet kid that wasn't frightened over macabre' stuff, but he actually just prefer staying in the background while other people take the spotlight. That all changed when Nico decided they were friends, but Will didn’t mind. He enjoyed listening to Nico speak enthusiastically about Mythomagic. 

Many of the campers try to convince Will to stop pursuing Nico because he’s a lost cause and a danger to the camp, but Will ignores them because he genuinely likes Nico and misses him. It was only later on, Will realized he's in love with Nico.

Nico, on the other hand, came to hate Will, but from a very different reason than Percy. Nico still holds a grudge against Percy, because to Nico, Percy broke his promise about protecting Bianca (same as the books). Nico also developed this hero-worship crush for Percy (same as the books) and feels ashamed about it.

For Will, Nico was jealous how the camp accepted Will, but rejected him. Especially, the Apollo cabin since they practically adopted Will as their own, even though they're Nico's siblings. So Nico held a grudge against Will, too. Later on, when Nico understood his crush for Percy was just hero-worship, Nico would come to realize that Will was the only one who truly accepted him and wasn’t afraid of his plague powers since the beginning, and in turn, falls in love with Will.

I know I left out some key players (the seven) and events, but I hadn’t planned that much. Just know that Will would have a bigger role in the series since he’s the son of Hades now, but Nico would still maintain much of his storyline too (just need to rework it as a son of Apollo with plague powers).

So the fic summary for Trickster's Thread is: After Luke Castellan rebelled against the gods in 1973, Hermes swore an oath on the River Styx to never have another demigod child. Unluckily for Percy, it seems like not only is he a child of Hermes, destined to be hated for being a liar and a thief, but he’s also being accused of stealing Zeus’s master bolt, which he would never do! Well, he might steal it if given the chance, but he hadn’t even known the gods existed until his friend Grover almost fell down the stairs, leading to a terrible chain of events at the end of which his mom died. So, it definitely wasn’t fair that he had to trek across the country to try and get the bolt back.

Sumarry for Traveler's Trials: Percy Jackson is going back to camp, and this year, he's promised his mom he won't go on a dangerous quest. He's got his best-friend-Ethan-who-he-has-normal-feelings-for beside him, and his older brother Luke hiding in the woods, what could go wrong? Annabeth Chase has been at camp for a year without the gods finding out that she's back from 1973 when she rebelled against the gods (along with her friends Luke and Thalia.) But, when Percy finds out Grover has stumbled into the Labyrinth while searching for Pan, and Annabeth and Luke learn that Thalia is in a hotel across the country, well, it's only natural to fake a prophecy for a quest so they can get their friends. After all, nothing goes wrong for demigods.

Godswap AU Ethan Nakamura as the son of Zeus.

of Zeus the god of justice and honor, the god of royalty and hospitality, of Zeus the king of kings, of Zeus Alastor.

Ethan Nakamura embodies the leadership and law-loving side of his divine father.

This reminded me very much of this post

but yeah I love the hc that demigods will only take on one or two aspects of their parent's powers/domains (eg Nico taking on the undead aspects of Hades while Hazel took on the underground/riches aspect or the Apollo kids with Will getting healing, Kayla, Lee and Michael getting archery, Austin getting music and the kid adopted by Emmie and Joe getting prophecies).

Since the justice and law aspect of Zeus doesn't get much focus in pjo I like the idea of Ethan fully embodying that part of him while Thalia almost exclusively got the lightning stuff. It adds a hint of irony that the child who got the destructive and powerful side of Zeus is one of the 'heroes' while the child who got his justice and kingly side is one of the 'villains'.

I picture son of Poseidon Nico as still having a pretty weak constitution and getting tired and exhausted from his powers pretty easily when he starts overdoing it

But specifically, Nico with the Poseidon bloodline, I picture him just like dissolving, becoming many many droplets of sea water.

He would usually hit his limit and dissolve when he's already on water, so others would just have to wait it out a little bit, while Nico's pulling himself back together.

At first they don't even realize he's straight up dissolving, and figure out that he's just going underwater to swim around a bit, and recuperate his strength before coming back up.

But one time, Nico hits his limit while fighting on earth, and somebody like Percy just has to dive right in, and catch the droplets on a bucket or something, because nobody knows what would happen if they didn't, and they sure as hell don't wanna be finding out in the middle of a Quest.

This process Nico goes through also makes him feel more isolated, as other people, sometimes point out that it's a lot like what monsters go through once they are killed, and then reformed

Fortunately, anybody who says anything like that in the earshot of any of Nico's friends, is immediately getting sent to the Aether

that one @kingburu godswap campswap fic where nico is the son of both jupiter and juno and he calls juno mammamina, and juno is so fucking hilarious in the fic?? she's every overbearing mom, she's decorated her kids' rooms according to /her/ specifications. nico visits olympus and finds embarrassing baby pictures in his room and is mortified.

and son of juno nico finding out abt ridiculous powers like being able to ground demigods and tell them to go stand in the corner???? hilarious. one of my absolute fave things. imagine me leaving jasico and pjo fandom for a few years, coming back, and finding this 488k jasico series i can read. perfect, amazing, wonderful

I have fallen in love with your Godswap AU. Like, to the point where I'm tempted to write fanfic of your fanfic.

First off, we have the concept of cycle-breaking in that the youngest who chopped up his father who is the youngest who chopped up his father doesn't end up king. Instead, the savior of the eldest six Olympians is the protector of the camily and that concept is??? Amazing???

I don't remember if it was mentioned why Hermes is the director but it does seem to be implied that it's not a punishment, with the fact that he still seems to be drinking. I like to think part of what drove him there was May.

Zeus's fatal flaw being personal loyalty??? AUGH IT'S SO PERFECT. And Ares and Aphrodite being switched so of course she fell for the god of love!!!!

Luke asking for his mother's mind to be healed. I want to cling to this idea for eternity. It's So Good.

This AU refuses to leave my head. And I love it all the more for that.
