But it’s not true that Gwen is racist because she made all these mistakes and they affected a black person. Miguel literally slammed him into a train, put all his grown man weight on him, yelled in his face and called him a mistake and nobody called him racist??????

Bottom line stop hating on a teenager who THOUGHT she was doing the right thing because you apparently have issues with her relationship with Miles.

If you really want cute clothes for affordable prices and you REALLY CARE about climate change and capitalism you would find a way

you literally don’t even have to find it, the path is already there for you Moana

plenty of thrift stores, small businesses, with affordable pricing and QUALITY clothes. Not to mention the YouTube tutorials that could show you how to revamp some of your clothes without a sewing machine.

And consumerism is another thing because buying cute clothes that you never wear contributes to the landfills

TLDR: don’t complain about the economy if climate change if you’re asking for a SHEIN gift card for Christmas😘

Edit: Parents who are working hard so they can buy new clothes for their kids who’ve outgrown their old clothes are limited because you’re filling thrift stores up with things that are going to fall apart in two washes. (thanks vee for this point 🤩)

Ok so as yall know I rewatched ATSV andddd

I HAVE A HYPOTHESIS….

ITS THE SPOT

(I know this probably isn’t an extraordinary take but I haven’t actually seen someone say it and I did come to this conclusion from just watching the movie so don’t insult my intelligence)

Ok so the whole dang movie Miles was saying, “It’s the Spot” and I think that was the writers kinda trying to foreshadow.

At Alchemax Spot told Miles he brought the e42 spider to e1610 and when Miguel was going off on his little tangent he brought how the spider wasn’t supposed to bite Miles (obvi)

And when Miles’ spider sense kicked im he saw Spot’s actions causing his dad to try and save that little girl. (“Spot does it”)

So my theory (yes I know I said hypothesis, juh vibe) is that when Spot brought the Spider to Earth-1610 he obviously disrupted canon, but all Miguel’s talk about Miles’ dad having to die isn’t necessarily true. Because SPOT DOES IT

I know that’s not easy to follow but stay with me, SPOT brought the spider to this universe, SPOT disrupted the “canon” for Miles universe, SPOT is the one trying to take everything from Miles and kill his dad, so SPOT is the key to everything (I sound like a recluse who’s a conspiracist, not too far off from reality😭)

Basically I think Miguel is wrong, because the problem in the universe he destroyed was created by him. He was the one who went and disrupted canon there but in the other canon disruptions we see the chaos was started by Spot.

Because in Pavitr’s universe, Spot was the reason for the Triangle of the Alchemax building (AHHHHHHHHHHHH, I just took a break to jump around my room cus this connection just came to me, am I a genius?)

OKAY SO Pavitr’s canon event was Inspector Singh’s death but if Spot hadn’t shown up and used the collider then the Alchemax triangle would’ve never fallen and hit the bridge AND INSPECTOR SINGH WOULDN’T HAVE TRIED TO SAVE THE LITTLE GIRL

WHICH ALL GOES BACK TO SPOT BRINGING THE SPIDER TO 1610 AND THE SPIDER BITING MILES AND THE COLLIDER GIVING SPOT HIS HOLES ANDDD AHHHHHHH

I AM A GENIUS

Somebody I knew in middle school died last week.

We weren’t friends. at all. They were rude to me constantly, and took any chance they could to put me down.

I didn't think about him unless people brought him up.

But to know that he was so young (17) and died in a really brutal way still hits me.

And I just think of all the young Palestinian children who’ve had to watch their schoolmates and best friends die while they ran from bombs.

I feel so much sympathy for the family of a boy who constantly crapped on me, I can’t imagine the mental torment those kids are going through after watching their friends and family die in front of them.

this isn't my opinion on the Hobie age discourse or anything but...

It's clear some of you do NOT know the way males look through the development stage of 16-25 years old

That is NOT a male over the age of 21

He's just not. Like you can argue that because its animated things like posture, and gait don't matter but GUYS

He is CLEARLY between the ages of 17-19 ok that's just logic

Miles is fifteen, and yes, the difference between them as characters is OBVIOUSLY LARGE. But from a looking at them to see how far along they are developmentally you can see that Hobie's older but not OLDERRR

Like it doesn't really matter if he's a legal adult or not (I personally think his age was left to be slightly ambiguous on purpose but that's not relevant rn)

But let's not overexaggerate ok, saying he's 23 is like saying he's 12😭😭

Write him however you want though I was just saying this because as someone with older brothers and cousins and family friends who I've seen at the stage of young adulthood it's funny seeing all the takes on his age.

(also him being 16 like me, annoys me cus he's cooler than me so i say 17 is the youngest he could be bcus maybe I'll be cool by then)

I’m usually pretty nonchalant about fanfics that I don’t agree with but I barely see anyone address this so…

Please, please, stop taking characters (typically optimistic teens or young adults) and just blorbo-babygirl-ing the shiitake mushroom out of them.

THAT IS A GROWN or ALMOST GROWN person, you aren’t showing them being “clingy” or “expressive” or showing their “soft side” They’re just acting like a toddler

Legit starting to think some of you have never had interactions or observed someone who is actually really physically affectionate or emotionally sensitive or just a sunshiny type of person.

Like tell me to stop clutching my pearls, and grow a pair, but some of you act like Dick Grayson and Pavitr Prabhakar are sassy, overly dramatic, spoiled five year olds with a penchant for talking too much. No, they’re good, optimistic (slightly melodramatic) people who like to share their positivity with others.

BUT

Fanfiction is subjective as long as it isn’t immoral (more shade to people who write smut about minors) so if your taste in fanfiction for these characters is exactly what I just mentioned you do you babes 😘
