Astrology Observations No.4
<3 TW
I use the whole sign system
Tumblr media
Mars-Saturn hard aspects struggle with sexual encounters at first and have a poor relationship with intimicy. They may loose their virginity later than others and that‘s good yk never loose sahahah
Mars in leo/degrees can be known for their drive (that one girl in my class is super intelligent and everyone knows that) Since leo rules fame it makes more than sence✮⋆˙
Moon in cancer (if developed) can talk about that they just cried over an quite little duck running around without being ashamed of pointing out their own vulnerability (ma sweethearts) That is because cancers ruler is moon
Venus in aquarius always have something to do with animes and they live for video games and their friends. Nevertheless you can be their partner but sometimes they put their friends first 𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ𐀔
Mercury in taurus thinkkkk before they talk, might talk slow and come of as seriøs
Wait jupiter in 3rd house just get a lot of money from family members $♡
Venus in 11th house post their favorite things online ( your pets, your playlists…) 💋
4th house in aries: your home environment is wild, full of chaos and passion at the same time ✮⋆˙
Saturn-Pluto: The relationship to your father changed or transformed you. Some people with this placement are not in contact with their father anymore or just see him once in a while
Moon-Jupiter individuals get lucky if they show their emotions (others try to emphasize with them or they get help) also depends on other aspects ☼
Trust me libra mercury knows how to charm others or themselfes out of uncomfy situations with their words
Mercury in aries try to help you through telling you the solution to your problem (you might get mad but they just wanna help) lovely cookies of mine

Uranus-Venus positive =tip try to work if problems in relationships accure
How Uranus-Venus hard aspects behave= They may jump to the next person and think that working on relationships are not worth it if you have serious problems or if they don‘t see growth quickly. But that doesn't mean that they will leave you just that they do not have time for bullshit
Venus in pisces need a lot of time to recover if they get hurt but they will die for you
Sag moon have the opinion that getting distracted is good (especially with friends, loved ones). These folks don't believe in telling you their feelings that much
Specific but scorpio pluto in leo degree are known for their dark deep feelings and pain
Jupiter in libra generation loves money, some more others less ˗ˏˋ✩ˎˊ˗
Please listen Mercury-Asc people in combinition with Venus tense aspect with Mars, you are not ugly people always talked about your appearence and that makes you always think about how you look. Mercury=thoughts,Asc=Appearence. TW! Body dismorphia can be the case, if so I hug you and advice you to get help¡
Why do aries individuals often have some type of allergy it isn't normal anymore hahaha
TW! Most borderliners have intense aspected moons or gemini, leo or aries moons. Gemini moons have a maze of mind and will overthink everything and then turn into an empty minded person in one split second (typical for BPD), leo moons suffer from people pleasing and having a high opinion of themselfes turn into low low self esteem issues, and them aries moons show their emotions impulsifly or act on them impulsifly. I am not a professional but I am here to make you aware, I observed it in soo many charts, you know best if you show signs! It is more than important to get help :)
Neptune-Asc everyone seems to guess your age differently
Let me know if you would like to have a more dark astro observation next time

Heyo! May I request platonic yandere chain with reader? But instead of isekai like normal the reader is actually a destructive spirit or deity that was reawakened by either Dark Link or Ganon? Anywhoooo I hope you’re having a great week- mine was filled with exams lmfaooooo
Thanks for requesting anon! I really hope you had good results from those exams!
Notes: My week was okay, thank you for asking!!
I really let out my imagination out on this one, hope you'll like it.
BTW, take this as a part on the back for getting through your week.
I feel like I made the yandereness on this one so light, I'm sorry
-> Reader can't bring themselves to remember anyone's names so just remembers their most striking characteristics in their opinion.
-> It's been a while since I've read the comic, so Time keeping FD's mask on his belt for safety measures (since it's the most dangerous one and he can't lose it) is merely a headcanon of mine.
-> Reader is a menace who has questionable intellect (AKA a chaotic, pyromaniac, destructive entity being forced to be nice to others by the good guys™).
-> I left the end ambiguous, so you guys can decide if reader was either truly tamed or is still a menace who Time has to keep on check so they won't be too cruel on their "pranks".
-> Reader also magically rearranged Time's ocarina so each hole would play different a different sound at some point, so he literally had to re-learn where each note was so that he could go back to playing his songs again.
-> Reader slept for more than Time and Wild both and doesn't know a thing about the Zelda lore other than the Golden goddesses.
TWs: Light platonic yanderism, mention of burns, mentions of fire and arson, mentions of loud noises, basically just reader being an absolute hazard to anyone and everyone.
Platonic yandere! Chain x Reader
Debt to pay.
Tumblr media
People from your time used to say that one could sooner move a mountain from it's resting place rather than tame your natural ways.
You wouldn't say you were a deity, per say, you thrived on chaos and setbacks, a living annoyance to the poor living things that breathed the same air as you, and roamed the earth by the same time you did.
It was in your nature to be destructive, yes, but you never wanted destruction, at least not full extinction. The darkness and the light were both two sides of the same rupee, they were one just like the other, beings of both sides would react the exact identical way to having their butts lit on fire. So, of course, you weren't one to pick and choose who you'd go after each day.
Thing is, most people didn't understand that —if anyone at all— so everyone just assumed you were a being of pure darkness, even if you actually saw yourself as more of a dark gray entity from a moral chart perspective.
And that was how you got yourself “killed”, if that's even the right thing to call it.
Somehow, no one seemed to care much when you lit whole villages on fire and made all of the walls of full-on castles start dissing out pure electricity, but they almost dislocated their jaws the moment you decided to do a silly trick and turn all of their lovely goddesses statues upside down for a day.
As if those same goddesses hadn't just ignored all of their prayers in the last hundreds of years you spent freely making their lives miserable.
You were stored in a vase. Not even a cool cool one. A plain clay vase deep within a temple under the ground. If you could choose, you'd have preferred something more majestic and up to the level of your power, but then again, it wasn't like you were in place to say anything in your defense.
Sometimes you just wondered how your small group of worshipers were. They probably weren't the best people out there, if you could say so yourself, but you were still curious if they ended up having similar fates to yours.
A long, long time later, you were "revived", for the same reason you were "killed".
Not the best choice on the part of whoever went through the trouble of doing all that, but who were you to judge? Or even to complain?
From what you could get from the boring evil monologue the guy in front of you was giving after having just woken you up from the longest nap you've ever had —since you couldn't really die— the guy wanted you to aid him in his quest to kill some other guys and take over the world or some boring nefarious plan like that.
You couldn't recall any of the names he just said, though, so you could only guess that you had either slept for a pretty damn long time, or you were in an entirely different world on itself.
Before you could fully decide on one of the two possibilities, the red guy sent you to fight against that group of guys he was talking about, seven men with varying shades of blonde hair along with two guys who weren't blond at all.
Perhaps you could have admired the strength of the red guy's magic, to just bring you out of your sleep like that and already straight up teleport you.
Thing is, you didn't really care enough to do that, you just did whatever you wanted the moment you realized you were fully conscious and in a physical body once again.
Were you chaotic and very much possibly evil? Yes. Were you stupid, however? Kinda No.
So the moment the opportunity presented itself, you followed those guys around, gathering information. Taking notice also of that one shadow looking dude, who was following them around just like you, seemingly with the intention of making their lives hell.
Maybe he'd be an interesting being to interact with, if he wasn't as prickly as a damn cactus. You swore you couldn't even approach the guy without him reacting like a startled cat, pointing his flimsy sword straight to your face. You swore to yourself you'd break that thing in half one of these days.
And so you set your sights fully on the blond —and the not so blond— guys, taking your time to also play around with the villages they went to and toy with the monster camps they passed by.
Of course, you couldn't just ignore the massively ominous aura drifting from the masks that one of the taller blondies carried around. Your hands itched to get a grasp on those things, whatever was sealed inside it was magical and possibly powerful, and the possibilities sent your mind on quite a dangerous frenzy.
The thing that made you a bit disappointed, however, was how long it took for them to notice your presence.
At some point you decided to start giving them some more obvious hints that what was following them wasn't friendly.
They seemed to really like bomb bags, which wasn't exactly safe for them when you could randomly activate those at will.
Also, you couldn't control the rain or storms, of course, but you definitely could attract lightning, especially since they all seemed to enjoy carrying around those identical metal swords.
Sometimes you just liked to pull on their hair and make knots on them, given that some had really long hair.
The wolf guy had a horse, one you could just startle really easily. Although you didn't have the result you wanted, since the wolf guy wasn't sent flying the moment his horse went crazy.
You caught him later, though. Making loud, high pitched noises to absolutely blow away his senses the moment he turned into a wolf to try and chase you down.
The fire that the short guy was using to mend a weapon randomly became overly strong, enough to have burned his whole arm, if he hadn't pulled away quick enough.
The scarf of the other one just one day became a bit too hard around his neck. It's a good thing for him that he was quick enough to pull it off his neck before he suffocated.
You watched as the one with pink hair almost had a breakdown, as all his colorful, shiny little trinkets and accessories having become dulled, turning completely pitch black, no traces of their original colors or magic left.
The kid tried to control the wind, only to have it blown straight back to his face, bringing leaves and sand with it.
You made sure their cook accidentally poured a bit too much pepper in their food, or salt, even sugar, if you felt like it.
The brown haired one suddenly lost control of his magic, what was supposed to heal their wounds ended up dyeing their hair blue for days on end.
That other guy who always overslept felt his pillow being pulled from under his head at random times through his nights.
And the tall guy's masks have all suddenly decided to disappear.
“Okay. Something is going on here. And it's not something natural.” Time sighed, looking around the camp, tired and worried, concerned.
Wild’s hair was an absolute mess and seemed to have caught on fire at some point, Warriors was glaring at his scarf, keeping it as far from his —almost purple— neck as possible. Wind had his hair almost as messy as Wild's, full of leaves and dirt, he was pretty sure there were also some bugs around it, his cheek had a thin cut from a sharp little rock.
Twilight was occupied comforting Epona, although the both of them seemed quite shaken up by something.
Four had some burns around the tips of his fingers, his hair usual blond hair now stained with blue, Hyrule sitting beside him with a frown, bandaging his hands rather than using his healing magic like he normally would.
Sky wasn't far from the two, almost dozing off despite the migraine that had settled behinds his eyes, which were now dotted with heavy bags from sleepless nights. Legend's terrible mood did not seem to disturb his need for a nap.
“Oh, really?” Legend almost growled back, positively fuming with barely contained rage gleaming in his eyes.
“Vet, I am not your enemy here, but once we find out who is doing this, you can direct your anger towards whoever they are.” Time shot a look to the other.
“That is, if it's even a person doing this. It might be some kind of monster.” Warriors commented.
“One thing we're sure of is that there's magic involved in this.” Hyrule spoke up, finished with the bandaging.
“I don't even know why you're so mad, Leg, you were possibly the least affected by this.” Four complained, eyebrows furrowed with stress. Even as a blacksmith, he was never a fan of getting burned, especially not being caught off guard like that!
“Agreed.” Wild was the next to speak, not bothering to brush the soot out of his hair. It wasn't quite the first time he almost been exploded, after all, even though the experience didn't get any better no matter how many times he went through it.
“You're really saying that, even though the kid only got a burst of wind to the face.”
“Ay! Mind your own business, Legend!” Wind sprung up in defense of himself, already looking to be tense prior to the attack, as the two began arguing.
While the group was in quite the mess, you took your chances to go ahead and approach stealthily to attempt to take the mask you were so curious about. Said mask being the last one you hadn't stolen borrowed yet, since the tall guy seemed to have noticed his other masks disappearances and decided to take extra means of protection towards that one.
In your opinion, your risks were all carefully thought out and calculated, however, you seemed to have completely forgotten about a certain wolf guy at the edge of the camp, standing beside his horse and looking straight at you.
You managed to grab the mask from the taller guy's belt! But at what price..?
Before you could even manage to turn around and run away with it, a hand shot out, hooking on the back of the collar of your shirt, pushing you to the ground in a second. And in another second, there was a blade shoved right in front of your face.
Goddammit.
You barely paid any attention to all the yelling, too occupied hugging your newly acquired possession tightly to your chest.
“Hand me that mask. Now.” A voice right behind you demanded, yet you still didn't move.
“No.”
The sword in front of you seemed to inch just slightly closer to your neck.
“At least tell me what it is, first!” You asked, a bit more squirmy, not at all comfortable with the vulnerability you had right now, since it seemed like that long sleep left you with a bit less power than you used to have, clearly a precaution, should you ever gain you body back. It was smart from your captors, but very much annoying for you.
“None of your business, now give me back my mask!” The tall guy —now in front of you— stressed. You could tell that his restlessness was hinting towards just how near he was to the end of his wits.
“If this piece of porcelain is as powerful as it seems, then yes, yes it is my business!”
It wasn't, not really, but you were too curious to just give up on information just like that.
The tall guy went quiet for a second before he finally replied, going with a question instead of actually giving you an answer like you were expecting from him.
“How do you know how powerful it is?”
“None of your business.” You threw his own words back at him and now the dull side of the sword was suddenly pressing up pretty uncomfortably against your skin, burning you. “Okay, fine, I'll tell you.”
And that was how you met the Links, and also how you became chained to them, unable to leave. After all, you did have to pay them back for all that you did to every single one of them.
But, for some reason, that simple dept seemed to only to get bigger the longer you spent time with them, despite the fact you weren't doing anything entirely wrong…
At least, that was the excuse they gave to you, yet something in you made you feel like that wasn't the full truth.

Idk how attractive jon is supposed to be but he has the stark look and sansa has a thing for the stark look, i mean look at waymar and loras, their descriptions match jon's exactly. Sansa's opinion at the end of the day>>>
I love Sansa’s Waymar and Loras crushes! So cute! I kinda think a good part of what attracts Sansa to any given guy is the romantic notions she can attach to them, not strictly their physical appearance? So while I certainly agree with the Jon and Waymar parallels and think martin intentionally wrote similarities between Jon and her crushes, I believe her romanticized view of knight was a factor as well. Personally, I wish Martin talked about Sansa’s body/ how beautiful she is a lot less, so this isn't a topic I enjoy discussing, but the convo kicked off because of a poll and here’s a screenshot of my totally unremarkable tags:
Tumblr media
And here’s what an angry Jon fan posted because they didn’t like the tags on the poll:
Tumblr media
They go on to criticize other tags by Sansa fans/Jonsas, but mine were based on specific lines from the books because the question wasn’t vibes but canonical beauty, and it so happens, these are lines I am very fond of because I love NedCat:
And was it really such a terrible thing, to want a pretty wife? She remembered her own childish disappointment, the first time she had laid eyes on Eddard Stark. She had pictured him as a younger version of his brother Brandon, but that was wrong. Ned was shorter and plainer of face, and so somber. He spoke courteously enough, but beneath the words she sensed a coolness that was all at odds with Brandon, whose mirths had been as wild as his rages. Even when he took her maidenhood, their love had more of duty to it than of passion. We made Robb that night, though; we made a king together. And after the war, at Winterfell, I had love enough for any woman, once I found the good sweet heart beneath Ned's solemn face. (ASOS, Catelyn V)
It’s a beautiful passage with a lovely sentiment, so I take exception to classifying this as petty fandom shit when there was nothing intentionally insulting behind what I said, I just think Cat's thoughts about a man she dearly loves were pertinent. Also, Jon’s Stark looks are a big R+L=J clue which is teased a lot in AGOT so it’s intentional and important:
The boy absorbed that all in silence. He had the Stark face if not the name: long, solemn, guarded, a face that gave nothing away. Whoever his mother had been, she had left little of herself in her son. "What are you reading about?" he asked. (AGOT, Tyrion II)
Martin described Jon’s face the same way he does Ned’s here, although the point was ha ha! he has the Stark look not because of his father but because of his mother, Lyanna.
Jon had their father's face, as she did. They were the only ones. Robb and Sansa and Bran and even little Rickon all took after the Tullys, with easy smiles and fire in their hair. (AGOT, Arya I)
Arya heard and whirled around, glaring. "I don't care what you say, I'm going out riding." Her long horsey face got the stubborn look that meant she was going to do something willful. (AGOT, Sansa I)
Sansa could never understand how two sisters, born only two years apart, could be so different. It would have been easier if Arya had been a bastard, like their half brother Jon. She even looked like Jon, with the long face and brown hair of the Starks, and nothing of their lady mother in her face or her coloring. (AGOT, Sansa I)
"Lyanna might have carried a sword, if my lord father had allowed it. You remind me of her sometimes. You even look like her." (AGOT, Arya II)
Now, Ned goes on to say Lyanna is beautiful so a lot of fans really emphasize that and say it means Jon and Arya are/will be attractive, and maybe! It doesn't bother me for people to read it that way, but if you look at the other uses of long face in ASOIAF, or the Stark look, I think it indicates, it's not particularly attractive, and one might even say, it's unremarkable. I didn’t say ugly, its simply unexceptional imo. Obviously the horsey face/horse faced stuff is an insult so we don't have to take that to be a neutral assessment, but I don't think it actually means pretty either, not when you look at how it's used elsewhere.
Anyway, it doesn't matter if Jon is handsome or not because we all were supposed to have already learned that what matters is who he is, not his face. So, while I have no investment in how attractive/unattractive these characters are, I imagine that Jon being Jon is what will make Sansa fall for him, not how pretty he is. Something that might sound kinda like this:
I had love enough for any woman, once I found the good sweet heart beneath Ned's Jon's solemn face

GERUDO REDESIGN - Physique part 1
Hey there! so, welcome to the first part of this design journey. it'll probably be quite long, already i wanted to make the first post with a full page of illustrations, but i managed to do only the first part, uhuh.
This redesign will be divided into sections, the first one being the bodies and appereance of this women.
Before starting with vomiting ideas, a few clarifications:
The main goal of this redesign is to make them less of a biproduct of our world's racism and sterotypes and a more grounded species of its own, with more defined characteristics and distinctions from regular humans.
In Hyrule there are many different species with their own characteristics. while the Gerudo are a different species, i personally consider them a subspecies of, without a better in-universe term, Humans, the macro category that includes them, Hylians and Sheika.
When i talk about average characteristics of them, it means that those are the most common and defining of the whole species, but exceptions can and do exists, sometimes even in large numbers, though maybe sparse.
this is a silly experiment of mine, an excuse to excercise while sharing it. many of my ideas will probably be flawed and i never intend for them to be considered "the right way of doing things", they are just my subjective opinion on the matter.
With that said, let's begin!
In the Zelda Canon, Gerudos as a species are defined by:
being able of birthing only women
generally taller than hylians
generally of dark orange skin tone (but as shown in later games, that too also varies), also a mix of middle eastern/african facial traits
resilient enough to endure the harsh conditions of the desert with less equipment than your average Hylian (kinda)
The poity noses seamlessly attached to their forehead
This list alone (hoping i haven't missed something) does not a good job in differentiating them from just a segregated group of regular hylians, just with brown skin and some genetic peculiarities, and thus the icky part. I don't want to reinvent them completely, but to craft a more (to me) interesting species of people out of these bases. Their appeal definitely skyrocketed with the Tears of the wild; though their improvement is mostly in their cultural and aesthetical display of things, there are some things in how they look that i'd like to keep.
Now, onto my first main changes:
Tumblr media
I know, sorry if you expected something more drastic. the fact is, i love the way they look in Tears of the wild, and to change them more it would feel too much like making a up a new species to me. so i wanted to build off their canon appeareance.
They are already quite tall (Urbosa canon height seems to be around 6.7 ft, and many cited a girl in a bar lamenting being 8 ft tall)...but i say why not taller. and bigger too! I honestly prefere the idea of them being somewhat giant beings, that impose themselves by presence alone. as they are, yes, in the game you feel the height difference, but somehow it got mundane pretty quickly. so again, with the goal of making them much more striking and distinct from other humans, they are on average much taller and with bigger proportions now!
Another feature that stood out to me in the games was their often really pronounced hips, with these protruding pelvic bones. that is a nice idea i think, so i decided to keep that on average, Gerudo have really protruding hips with really deep dips before the thigh. Probably i could've exaggerated that part even more, i'll try to going forward.
Body hair. here we go, this is the main idea and the thing that may ruffle the most feathers. I thought about what else could make them more striking than they are, then about the fact they always expose so much of their skin to hars conditions, and came up with the idea of giving them a lot of body hair. All this hair has the property of not only maintaing some body warmth and protecting the skin, but it also absorbs the cold of the night and balances it out. i don't know how it would work (magic hair!) but i think it could be neat that their survivability could be tied somewhat to their hair and how much they have of it. On a technical level, to sell this concept even more i think i should'ave covered her even more, but i'm already at my limit since i hate body hair ahah. you're free to draw you're own with fur on it.
A thing that is not represented here for clearness sake, but that will be explored later on, is that they also have facial hair! the way they style it will be in the culture section, but in my interpretation they can also have a beard and moustaches.
One last thing, Muscles. The way the games portray them, especially in Tears of the wild, make it seem like they naturally become shredded while growing up (aside from some chubby ones, but i guess the muscles might still be there, just covered). If that's the case, i honestly do not like it. Sure, it may be that they are naturally a species of naturally muscular women, but i think this misses the oppurtunity of making them more interesting for it. In my interpretation, they are for sure naturally strong, but mainly do to their height; task that a normal hylian would struggle with sure are easier if you're 3 meters tall! They do not acquire definition naturally though, that's entirely u to culture, living conditions and training regimes, which will be explored later on.
Ears. This is the thing that may change the most going forward since i'm not entirely sure, buuut...i don't like it that much that they have the same ears as hylians now. it's not that big of a deal, plus it has a pretty believable explanation, but i prefere a middle ground. Yes, millenias of evolution annd interbreeding with other humans has led to a difference in ears, but i prefere for it to be slightly elongated round ears instead of just elf ones.
And that's it for now, i think it's already a pretty long post uhuh. In the next part i want to explore (with drawings of course) skintones, facial fatures (noses my beloved!), hair colors and maybe something more.
Let me know if you like my ideas so far, i'd love nothing more than to start a discussion and to see other people's ideas flow freely! or to just criticize mine, uhuh.

“y'all acting like it's been said Daniel is the worst person alive and should be dead and is basically Hitler”
sorry the timing of this is lowkey funny to me because I just saw someone being called out on Twitter for saying that supporting Daniel is like supporting hitler in 1946 which is.. a take
Anyway you’re right, we don’t know these people and how they really act and he’s clearly not a perfect angel but at the same time I don’t think he’s just been fake nice for over a decade to the many people in the paddock who clearly like him as a person and think he’s kind. And i really don’t think he meant anything negative towards Jack in that comment because he has been very invested in his career just in general. But yeah, it really doesn’t matter that much either way
okay i'm responding to this because you've had the decency to at least put a name to your ask, but it is the last one i'll be answering on this matter.
the hitler comparison is clearly ridiculous, but i did not say that, nor did the person whose ask you're quoting from. the fandom space that you have cultivated is not representative of mine. all i said was that i thought he'd been mean in his interaction with jack, and i stand by it. whether they're friends or not, i personally felt that his comments were barbed, and frankly i think that jack doohan felt that way too, judging by his facial expressions.
you do not have to agree with me. the wonderful thing about the human experience is that different people have different interpretations of any singular event. you may look at that video and think it was completely normal, and that's fine. other people watched it and agreed with me. i don't know every single person who interacts with my posts personally, so i can't say whether they have an agenda against daniel or not, but i can say that i don't. i agree that i do not know him personally, although i actually have met him and at least some of my opinion is based off of that as well as the experiences of people i know who have met him, and i trust both them, and myself.
i also don't think that "people in the paddock like him and think that he's kind" is necessarily the argument that you think it is. because, well, have you seen who's in the paddock? i wouldn't exactly call them paragons of virtue or morality. i also think that sometimes people treat those who can be of use to them differently to the way they treat those they perceive to be inferior. just because daniel is nice to people in the paddock who can have a direct effect on his career does not mean that he treats everyone well.
and while i agree that my initial post didn't really mean that much - it was literally just an offhand comment i made while watching the broadcast and i deliberately didn't tag it because i didn't want to start discourse - i do think that the response matters. i think that the death threats and accusations of schizophrenia, the essays in my notes saying that i was targeting danny and wilfully spreading misinformation because i was so desperate to tear him down, i think there was even an accusation of cultural appropriation in there which was particularly wild to me, i think that stuff does matter. and i hope that you are in the inboxes of those people telling them that one person having a different opinion of a millionaire is not important too

From the horse's mouth...
I want to address something that's was brought to my attention this fine early AM in my DMs, and I want to clear the air.
Let's begin.
A prominent Val creator that I happen to respect a lot hopped into my DMs with screenshots of a couple of my posts highlighting some gifs, and took it upon themself (pronouns left ambiguous for anonymity) to explain the difference between the apparent debate between ✨reblogging✨ and ✨reposting.✨
I will preface by saying I did not even know this was a thing. Being someone who is not a gif creator, I didn't know there were unspoken rules about this.
I have been on Tumblr since April. April. Yeah, that's right.
A little over three months. Some of these people have been here for years, and as we all know, this platform is a wild place. Rules aren't always clear and there's new ones added almost daily.
I don't have that many people who interact with me on a personal, intimate level aside from reblogs and likes, so there's actually no one to educate me, or even offer a "hey, this is a thing, watch your six."
But I will make it ✨VERY✨ clear.
There was never any malicious intent on my end about reposting gifs. I genuinely apologize to whomever this has affected.
I am a gif saver and use them in my personal, non-tumblr messages, and I had absolutely no idea that using them on tumblr outside of reblogging was even a thing. For this to be considered theft absolutely blows my mind in an enlightening way (don't take the expression in a condescending way) and I am genuinely baffled that people would ✨intentionally✨ do that to other creators. With GIFS.
GIFS. The cutest, fluffiest, funnest way to communicate.
My lawd.
But, I digress.
Please, chalk this offense of mine up to ignorance. I am a 28-year-old adult and will take responsibility for my actions, and will own up to my mistakes.
But I will not simply lay down and accept blame for the hell of it because blame is being dolled out.
I will explain myself before the court of my peers.
Don't hang people out to dry without allowing them a defense. ✨That✨ is being a good human, that is being gracious and what true education looks like.
People in a court of actual law are innocent until proven guilty, and it should be that way here, on a ✨platform.✨
Full stop, end story.
After some clarification, this user (they are not a mutual, I follow them but they do not follow me) did not have damning intent (as best I can tell) and was not malicious in their bringing this to my attention.
To them, thank you for the cautionary warning, it's taken under advisement loud and clear.
Please allow new people to make mistakes and give them grace.
Tumblr is a big, overwhelming, and sometimes terrifying place. Many of us are geriatric users who don't want to stir tea or intentionally step on toes, and we don't deserve to be crucified for mistakes at the altar of the masses.
This isn't to stay that I don't understand. I get that a sour apple ruins the bushel. I know.
As a writer and a creator, I know.
But the exception isn't the rule, and it certainly isn't the majority.
Allow people to make mistakes. Give them the benefit of the doubt. We are innocent until we're proven guilty.
No hard feelings, mutuals and users and people of the interwebs.
Thanks for attending my Ted Talk.
**edit to add– we talk about creators not creating because their stuff gets misinterpreted and handled. Creators and beneficiaries complain about people not creating anymore. While all those claims are true, condemning newbies and those who want to create but are anxious and nervous about it does nothing but make it even harder to grow the balls to post in the first place. I, being someone who doesn't really care about the opinions of others to begin with and just creates because it burns within me and I love it, am the exception. Most of the time people aren't like me. Be careful with new people on this platform, they could very well be your next favorite creator, but you may not know that if you crush their soul and affirm their anxieties. End story.

I am thinking of making my own ig regiment, do you have any advice?
Hey it's always good to more guard regiments! 👀
Creating stuff from the ground up takes time and a lot of background development. In my opinion, some important questions to ask yourself are:
What is the planet like? This will help you figure out what the regiment might specialize in or what enemy they are particularly dedicated to fighting. Catachan is a jungle death-world so the Fighters are especially tough and excel in wild/rougher terrain. The Cadian Shock Troopers and Armageddon Steel Legion are regiments have developed around a certain kind of threat (Chaos and Orks).
How does your regiment recruit? Do people willing enlist like some modern military? Or is there any method? The Vostroyan Firstborn are quite literally made of only the first born children of families on their planet for example. Is it like a specialized penal legion just for the planet? Like the Savlar Chem Dogs.
What is the culture like? Planet-side and within the regiment? People carry their cultures with them off-world! Catachans are bold and defiant, preferring to show off knives than wear badges/metals. Cadians are highly disciplined and Krieg has developed around the faith they have gone against the Emperor in the past and must redeem themselves. There's also the Royal Volpones who all nobles and view any lowborn with disdain.
Combining questions 2 and 3, does the recruitment method reflect in the regiment? This one is more straight forward, is it generally considered an honor to serve? Repentance? Serving time for a crime committed? Naturally there will be differing opinions but what's the general consensus in the regiment!
Have they served with another regiment, sister of battle order or space marine chapter? This is where you can further detail their history and give them some reputation; good or bad and allows for some story ideas to happen. And allow for you to build up individuals within the regiment and show how they interacted with others.
Here comes the real fine details; regiment ranks, equipment/vehicles and general tactics. Don't worry about deep combat strategies, just ask yourself, are they trench fighters? Urban warfare masters? Sneaky? Let their weapons and vehicles reflect that.
After that it's all about designing the uniforms and perhaps any banners they might have. There's a bit of a balancing act here as all the regiments are part of the same branch and have to kind of 'fit' to some degree. But! There are regimental symbols and there can also be company symbols/names to think of. The 'Blue Bloods' are just the name for the Royal Volpone's 50th company for example. You don't have to make a bunch of companies, just one or even two particular examples. Symbols can be related to the planet's culture/history or even just something you particularly like!
You can also read up on other canon regiments or listen as well! Baldermort's Guide to Warhammer is an excellent in-universe lore vids and covers the lore. for deeper stuff Oculus Imperia also does amazing work. Check them out if you don't already know about them!
Also for books, Gaunt's Ghosts is all about the Tanith First and Only, a very unique regiment and highly recommended! There's also the Last Chancers, a personal fave of mine that delves into what a penal legion is like. As far commissars (The bosses of the regiments) you can never go wrong with the boi Ciaphus Cain, a very different commissar than Yarrick (Of the Helsreach fame) but also a good look into the regiments.
I hope this helps any at all! Homebrews of any kind are passion projects and some details are figured out quicker than others. Sometimes you figure out a detail only to backtrack later and have to figure out again, it's all part of the process.
I look forward to seeing what kind of ideas you develop!

just suddenly remembered that as a child, growing up in mexico and being extremely white yet poor/middle class (not sure) sure was wild. + autism meaning i didn't understand a lot of shit. but what i did understand was obvious racism, like using "indio" as a slur, and i told someone off for it at age 9, and got brushed off. i bet it was a wild experience for a brown adult man to have a white little kid tell him he's being racist (and be right).
i'm not going to get into a certain type of discourse so let's just describe this without putting any labels on it... hanging out as a very white person in poor spaces was fucking weird. as in, for other people, and they made sure i noticed their discomfort/surprise. i say "very white" because not only do i have white skin, my hair is red, and apparently that was a big deal. strangers in my age approached me in english instead of spanish and asked where i'm from instead of my name. like they weren't interested in me, but in what i represent. whatever that was supposed to be. people stared at me whenever i took public transport. sometimes street food vendors wouldn't serve me. i got relentlessy mocked for my speech because even after 9 years i wasn't able to say the "rr". i obviously didn't belong in the opinion of others.
and then there were my parents who told me that as a white person i was more likely to be a victim of robbery and abduction. no idea if this is actually true but i grew up conditioned to be paranoid because of how white i look.
that's not to say i didn't have white privilege, a lot of this was after all based on the social idea (and likely real statistic trend) of white people in mexico being upperclass. i'm sure a person whose skin was darker than average would have been treated much worse than me, and likely an average looking person would have had their own daily racism issues that looked different than mine.
it's also not to say i never internalized racism. i've said and done my share of racist things growing up without realizing, just like everybody else.
i'm not really going anywhere with this, i'm just sharing my story because i've been terrified of sharing it for years thanks to the overly simplistic worldviews that are abundant on this app on how race and racism is supposed to work for every single human being even outside of usa.

I’m fairly new to the tumblr/Twitter bnha world and the metas on here (and a few other blogs) are the only reason I stay. I’m not used to these early and incomplete leaks and they are, imo, only anxiety inducing and kinda unhealthy for this fandom. I realize I can block for myself and people have the right to be impatient but I watch some people go nuts every week and it’s crazy.
mhh well, I agree and disagree with this. I do agree that the leaks can sometimes paint a slightly different picture of what's going on than reading the chapter itself because leakers have biases like everyone else and at times it shows through. It happened recently when Shouto used phosphor and the leaks phrased it like "and then Shouto punches Dabi in the face," which was shown to be untrue by the pictures attached to said spoilers. But at the same time, I think that biases and misreadings happen with the full scans as well. Heck, even the professional translator working on bnha's official release is a proud and loud supporter of the heroes' right to kill villains. Back when he used to do twitter threads, he didn't shy away from making this clear, and his translation are routinely casting the villains in a worse light and making the heroes' most callous lines sound less harsh.
So while I do think that this fandom tends to jump their guns a bit too fast at times and builds castles on sand that fall down when the actual chapter comes out... I also think that any meta writer worth their salt is able to revise their opinions when new material proves them wrong, so policing what they choose to engage with isn't really necessary imho. True, leaks can cause anxiety if misinterpreted, but anxiety is a wild beast that can be poked by seemingly harmless things as well. At least, mine is. But I know my limits and I disengage when I feel mine rising, and I trust that other users can set their own boundaries too, so I have no desire to do that for them, personally o/

People think mistreatment is commonplace and easily go how unfortunate that's happening to you/happened to you. I understand that it's easy to just ignore a problem that does not impact one personally, but it can impact everyone personally, and if one more thing happens, I'll make sure it does. Is this a threat? Yes. Is it a promise? Definitely not, but I have the right to be mad about this.
Words of sympathy ring hollow when a bunch of morally grandstanding individuals that at times create emotionally manipulative pleas for fictional murderers and openly voted a dude guilty for harassing people online go whelp sucks that we have two recorded incidents of you specifically getting harrassed by this fandom. However, there is nothing we can do about it. Sometimes, bad things happen. Yeah, and they can just as easily happen to you. I don't like half the shit i see in the Milgram tag especially some of the theories, but I respect peoples right to have their space.
I don't fuck with them because they have a different opinion from me or because they want to use their space to talk how they like. So, at this point to be completely honest if some of the folks in this fandom can't do the same with me and continue to harrass me simply for discussing something I like I'm more than willing to take every single other person down to because it's only fair. That's the precedent set by these actions it's not on me to keep being the bigger person and anyone expecting me to be can only imagine what being the bigger person feels like when shit like this happens to them. Respect other people's spaces if you want them to respect yours cause not everybody is gonna be like me.
Then with one post or theory that people disagree with or thinks negatively impacts their favorite character during their trial someone might go yeah no that's it you need to shut up because I want x character to get x verdict- and your blog can be right where mine is at. Hell, you could respond to unsolicited criticism with annoyance and just have the same thing happen now.
In fact, don't like a fan translstion think it might be a bit misleading or bias, specific piece of fanart you sick of seeing, sick of seeing long fanfics in the tag well there just mat be something you can do about that. Something you can do even if it happens to you. It can be a tit for tat back and forth someone just needs to start firing and firing back. Yet, even after all this and now knowing definitively how to do it I haven't done that. Even in my worst moment, I didn't go that far. I went somewhere but I did not go there.
I don't think anyone else in this fandom could do that if it happened to them once, let alone twice.
Also good place to note the side blog cannot receive asks I just got two ask notifications but um they do not exist sooo-wild times.

Answering Some FAQs
There are some common questions that I get and I think everyone is asked similar questions when you start chatting with someone new or just curiosities people about the person behind a blog, especially if they like the content. So I am going to answer a few of the more common ones that I receive.
Where are you from?
Easy answer, I just pointed to my left hand. Oh right, you cannot see that here and since I did not post a picture with these words, I will share my where am I answer. Sorry in advance but it does require a bit of thought but I believe it is pretty easy to figure out.
I love mittens and while the Great White North is to my north, it is much closer to my east and while I find waterfalls amazing, I feel that rapids can be just as grand if not grander. There are some grand ones off to my west where the ‘roar’ is being restored. Thankfully I am north of hell but unfortunately south of paradise which causes some people in my neck of the woods to call me a troll because I live ‘under the bridge’.
Why do you blog?
I do not blog for a cause, applause, or any other reason along those lines. It is not to educate or share my experiences although it would be pretty easy to assume those things. I started my blogging adventures in 2013 because I wanted a place that could be a creative outlet for myself. I have started, stepped away, and returned plus I have had a blog deleted along the way as well. Through it all, blogging is a selfish pursuit for me because it allows me a place to go to share thoughts, ideals, and experiences that I cannot always share with vanilla people.
How did you get started in BDSM?
Long story short, when I went off to college, I knew I wanted to experience life. All the things that a smaller town young man did not have access to. I do not mean wild parties and random college hook-up bow chick-a-wow-wowing but things that clicked in my mind that my brain had no idea existed. I found myself lost while driving one evening, found a unique place, stopped to explore and the rest is history. If you have about fifteen minutes my first podcast episode takes you through how I discovered all this amazingness. Here is a link to a post here which leads over to find my podcast. This episode was my first, titled How Tacitus And Getting Lost In Search Of Tacos Changed My Life should you want more details. I did step away from the lifestyle after college because I thought it was time to be a grown-up and tried to be what was expected of a young professional however I learned I needed to be me and being me included being kinky.
You said the answer was in your podcast, so why do you podcast?
The short answer is covid. I transitioned to working from home and like everyone things were turned a bit upside down. Podcasting was something I thought could be fun, a new challenge plus I could do it from home. I was nervous about starting but once I did that first one, I discovered I enjoyed it plus it was a great creative companion to my blogging. So now I podcast and blog.
Why can't I reply to a blog post when I see other people have replied?
This sometimes can be upsetting to some people, especially when I have a post they feel strongly about and disagree with. My blog is set so that one must follow my blog for two weeks before replying is an option. This is not because I do not want someone to share a divergent view. I believe we all learn by discussing our differences and while this lifestyle does have some definite wrong paths, more often than not differing opinions are simply people practicing what works as well as fits them and their relationships. So I welcome people sharing how they see things differently but Tumblr, as we know, is home to many a spam bot. In the past when I changed this allowing anyone to reply, my blog was inundated with replies about bitcoin, shady investments, and even a few people trying to peddle meth, yikes. Even though you may not be able to reply, you can always reblog a post of mine with your thoughts, or send me a message sharing why you have a different take on things. I do want to add, in today's world many people seem to believe that disagreeing with another person means it is okay to attack, belittle, bully, or otherwise put down that individual. I strive to be Joe Friday like, “Just the facts” when I see things differently and even though we see things differently it is not a reason to attack or be rude. I welcome and encourage friendly, compassionate, yet passionate discussions.
I want to ask you a question but your anonymous asks are turned off.
My ask box is always on but rarely is the anon part in the upright and on position. I have learned through my blogging adventure that many people online suddenly forget how to be kind when they do not have to attach their names to their statements. Negativity such as this can be a soul-sucking drain and while there are many pleasurable forms of sucking, I need to be in the right headspace and my bottle of not giving a care must be filled to the appropriate level for me to handle spiteful garbage. So when I can and am in the right ‘mood’ I do turn on the anon box. When I do this, I do share that my anons are on but other than that, expect to have to attach your name to your questions or thoughts. Unless what you have to say is twatwafflian, I will respect you by answering your question privately or, if you give permission, answer the ask publicly but not share who asked the question.
Can I share screenshots or copy one of your writings to my Discord, Facebook, or other online discussion groups?
No, please do not. It takes time and effort for me to write and share my thoughts through my blog. I asked that this be respected as well as those pesky things called copyright laws. I do keep my blog “clean” according to the Tumblr enforcement people, so this allows people to share links to my blog posts and for people who do not have a Tumblr account to see and read them. So I ask that if you like something that I have to say enough to want to share, please respect the effort and time I put into saying it by sharing the link rather than sharing it by other means.
I sent you a message, and you have not responded but you have posted things while ignoring my message. Why are you not answering my question?
I am not ignoring messages and my blog runs on a queue. I queue my blog since I find that doing this fits my life, allowing me to share thoughts and express myself without having to be always online with it. So please understand I will reply as soon as I can and do not mistake it as being ignored.
Do you chat with people here?
Absolutely. I welcome conversation as long as it is kind and pleasant.
What discussion groups are you a part of online?
I do not take part in any online chats, discussions, or the like. I do from time to time attend munches in my local, in-person community but I do not make the time to partake in this part of the online community. It is not because I am opposed to it,  I thought about starting something along those lines in the past, but it would require a large time commitment and since I believe time is the most precious thing we have, currently I do not wish to invest my time in such an undertaking. If I change my mind, trust me, I will post about it and let everyone know.
I think this answers some of the FAQs that come to me here on my blog and I hope that this helps anyone curious get a bit of a better feel for me and my blog. If anyone should wondering about something not covered above, and there is a lot of ground not covered here, please feel free to reach out and ask me.
As with all of my writings, please see this disclaimer.

Do you ever just stand up for things you care about against your people because this is something you care about and they should see you and make space for it? That's what you do - you make space for their values and support them, even if you don't agree, so you will not back down if they don't do the same. It's personal, it's a part of me I'd like them to value too, to see that this is a part that I have and value. And it's not about the value itself. I mean, if my family were angry, rude and degrading to a march or a pride event, I'd get furious and march and wave stuff at their face. But if they would actually see and consider it and ask me to not go for various reasons, I wouldn't go. It's wild how much it depends on the context and how my views are met by them. Might not be related to snakeprim, but have you ever....?
I think the closest I ever came was when I was not even five years old and I told my parents I wanted to take ballet classes. My mum said not until I was at least five years old, and she loves to tell the story how I came to her on my fifth birthday and demanded to go to ballet classes right now. I started the week after, and until I stopped when I went to university, I never missed a class or recital unless I was too sick to leave the bed.
Nobody in my family understood why I loved ballet and theatre so much; for them it was a world of elitists and rich snobs who couldn't even organise an event properly. But they supported me as best they could, driving me around everywhere, buying expensive gear instead of normal birthday presents, and making costumes and props whenever we needed them.
Maybe this is not what you mean, but it's the closest I ever came to standing up for things I care about to my people. When I told my mum I was asexual and explained what that means, her reaction was "Huh, that's a thing?". Then she thought for a moment and said she might be too. I haven't talked to her about my gender identity, but since we see each other maybe once every two years, it's not really relevant. If I had to guess she'd say what she always says: "I don't really understand what you're doing, but I see it's important to you and it makes you happy, so I am happy to listen to your explanations occasionally and give whatever support you still need from me". She is snake primary as well.
I do not have a lot of political opinions. Those that I do have, I learned from the friends I made in my university days. Since they are still my friends, there's nothing to fight over. And even if we do see things differently, we have made spaces for our different values, and tend to find our differences fascinating rather than off-putting.
I have one friend left from my school days, and we do disagree on a few important things. But they also live far away, and even if we speak every week, we both value spending time together more than convincing the other of our opinions. That means we mostly don't talk about things we know we disagree on, which is fine by me.
My brother and sister were raised with the same love and support as myself, and our core values are very similar. My brother is the only idealist in our family, which made for an interesting puberty and is still sometimes causing friction these days. My sister is probably badger primary, and very good-natured and easy-going. I see them even less than I see my mum or my school friend, so the same principle applies.
To answer your question, nonny: No, I never really had to fight for value space with my people, because that has been a vetting criteria of mine for as long as I can remember: respect my values and my boundaries as I respect yours, or you will not become one of mine. I learned it from the way my parents loved and supported me and my siblings, and it's probably one of the most important things they gifted to us.

About your bio psychologically speaking the human brain has a very difficult time determining fiction from reality. You can identify the differences but the feelings you feel towards fiction is just as real as what you feel in the same real life scenario.
So allowing yourself to indulge in pro ship content (like pedophilia, incest and abusive relationships) isnt at all better then indulging in it irl! Your still messing yourself (and others) up mentally. Like you said in your bio it could be a response to something that happened to them irl but just because that may be the case dosent mean its okay. Instead they should seek professional help and not indulge in harmful fan creations on the internet
Im not mad nor am I trying to lecture you but I assumed you might not have known this information so I thought id let you know.
(Also pro shipping isnt to be confused with multi shipping which is similar but dosent promote or approve of any of the shipping relationships i mentioned earlier)
If you want to verify my sources just look it up on google and every reliable source agrees (at least with the whole brain cant determine fiction from reality)
(This is ment to be light hearted and not rude so i deeply apologize if it comes across that way)
Thanks for not being mean about it! I think. I don't know how to read underlying messages.
Anyways! I'm a neutral proshipper, which means I don't support all of these ships and stay away from problematic ones, but I won't go out of my way to ruin people's days or harass them because of their opinions.
I'm not into anything they indulge in, but they're human, just like me. They're messed up, like me! I bit someone because I didn't have enough self-control once in school!
However, I believe in people changing. Sometimes they don't but as long as people don't actively tell others to kill themselves over it or they're careful with the tagging so the wrong crowd doesn't see it, I'm fine.
Also I just got out of this new chinese novel that I think's pirated. Thoughts? It sounds so generic but it's okay.
[Global Blessed Land: I Can Add Attributes On The Buildings Novel - Read Global Blessed Land: I Can Add Attributes On The Buildings Online For Free - Novel Bin]
Edit: wait you're using the browser full of AI stuff? Wild. All I'm getting is .com sites, and the only ones that can be safely trusted without misinformation are .gov or .edu OR .org sites. Government, education, or organization sites on mine. do you mind sending another ask with some of the sources please?

I've never really understood how the internet has used "kin" before, and I'm also still trying to understand DID systems (I know they're not the same thing, promise that's not what I'm saying.) I've had a bumpy time trying to understand and I apologize that I may slip up when talking to systems.
But I wanted to talk about something I've noticed about myself that maybe is somewhat related? Maybe not, but it's made enough of an impact on my life that I feel like it's quasi-related.
I'm a roleplayer, I love to perform a character to bring them to life. I strictly know them to be a work of fiction in order to convey self expression or just to tell a story. However, I also almost feel like there's an element of transference going on--
What I mean by that is, writing my characters has led me to actually realize various truths about myself, come to terms with things that have happened to me, and even seek out professional diagnoses on things that I didn't have an understanding of until I started writing that character.
However, transference can go the other direction, too. From what I've read about it, as well as how it's used in other forms of media, literature, etc., is that the thing you're transferring onto may sometimes be able to transfer back onto you.
I'm not saying that my characters have independent thoughts separate from me when I'm not writing them, that would be impossible (and because I value autonomy of myself, too frightening to consider not being in control of my own characters.)
However, something that I try very hard to do is make my characters feel like real people. They have their own hobbies, they have their own likes and dislikes, they have their own opinions about things that often either contradict mine (VERY OFTEN), or are in wild contrast to other characters of mine, OR... nuanced differences. That's hard to keep track of usually, but when I'm in the headspace to write that character, it's as easy as breathing.
And that's also where the transference problem occurs-- a struggle I'm still trying to work on (and also why I have so many characters to switch to) is that if my character is upset... those feelings of upset end up sinking into me, even if I'm in a relatively good mood. Take Tough Love for example-- he's a character of mine who has a defined sense of self that he's quite confident in-- BUT he's also very egotistical and tends to not view others' experiences or selves as anywhere comparable to his own or of value. This causes him to be very stuffy and superior at times, and when that attitude bleeds back into me, it's BAD. I can sometimes become more callous or dismissive. This is unlike how I tend to be. I have to be careful with a character like Tough because of that kind of thing.
More under the cut as well as images.
Currently, in a Second Life RP called Spira, I'm writing 5 different characters.
Orville Botte
Tumblr media
Sir Moss
Tumblr media
Tough Love
Tumblr media
Repo Wolf
Tumblr media
Rhedd End
Tumblr media
These are all characters that I've written variations of either since 2016, 2019 or 2020-- and they are all VERY DIFFERENT from each other. Tough Love doesn't usually look like that, he usually looks like a skeleton or a blue and purple cobra.
But they are also all with their OWN likes and dislikes, their own moral compasses, their own F-LISTS, etc.
I don't like to insert myself into the narrative, I generally don't like to say I have sonas or anything because I am wholly uninterested in being involved in the narrative, I just want to be the one bringing characters to live, but all of them are capable of transferring their emotional states onto me if I'm not careful. And all of these characters have a theme of abandonment trauma-- though they have different ways of responding to or showing that trauma.
BUT despite that, I still maintain that when I roleplay them, IC=/=OOC. Because it doesn't!!! If I'm experiencing emotional transference, it's up to me to distance myself and either swap characters or go do something else for a bit. It can just get a little hard to tell that's what's happening. I'm getting better at it though.
And I have so many more characters than this, but mostly focusing on the ones I'm writing on Spira because I've basically planned out their differences. If I want something more sensitive and submissive, I'll write Orville. If I want funny but assertive, I'll write Sir Moss. If I want funny but unsympathetic, I'll write Tough Love. If I want a completely unhinged time, I'll write Repo Wolf, and if I want a boisterous joyful nutbar, I'll write Rhedd.
Writing Rhedd usually puts me in a place of genuine adoration for everything, because he's just so 8D all the time.
I've even considered like... making a sideblog to this one where people can talk to these characters, maybe not their Spira versions but just their default ones... I have roleplay blogs for all of them but they're all separate and I don't want to keep logging into all of them.
Their NOT Spira versions are:
Orbot (Sonic Boom primarily), Sir Moss, Tough Love, Repo Rick and Rhedd Radio.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(orbot, Sir Moss)
(Snake!Tough/Skeleton!Tough)
(Repo Rick, Rhedd Radio)
I'll try to have a blurb to each of them, but I've been writing all of them for years so... there's probably a lot to cover. There are ASPECTS to their canon selves but generally they're just... changed. To be loved is to be changed.
The point of this post got away from me LOL

What are the main threats to India's wildlife?
India’s rich wildlife heritage is facing several threats. Just how serious is the problem?
India is renowned as the land of the tiger and the elephant; many Indian gods are depicted riding peacocks or tigers. But sadly, the equation that existed between people and wildlife centuries ago has been compromised, and our Protected areas, which comprise a mere 4% of India’s landscape, are now mere islands amidst a sea of people, with ever increasing economic demands that are adding to the existing pressures on Wildlife. Wildlife certainly is facing a lot of threats.
The most serious problem that I see today is the neglect and collapse of basic wildlife protection services during the last decade. This “mission-drift” has resulted from several causes: lack of political will, deterioration in the quality of forest administration, and the influence of international conservation paradigms that blindly promote “sustainable use” as a solution, while failing to recognize the overexploited status of the forest resources targeted for such use.
What, in your opinion, are the most urgent threats to wildlife?
By far the most urgent threat is the pressure from illegal hunting or poaching. We still have substantial amounts of forests left in some areas, particularly in the huge swathes of the tribal belts of Central and North East India, but they are “empty forests”. The wildlife in them has mostly been killed, eaten or sold. The killers come in a variety of forms: they may be local people hunting for the pot, using snares or guns, or they may be the lowest link in a mafia that is involved in the massive international illegal trade in wildlife that is today almost as big as the drug trade.
In addition, during the past decade, reckless development in the form of new highways, mines, dams and even so-called ecotourism have emerged as major direct threats to wildlife habitats both inside nature reserves, as well as outside of them. There are powerful lobbies pushing these projects.
Impact of poaching?
The most severe impact of poaching is that it depresses wildlife populations. Many species get hunted down to levels below which their populations cannot recover to normal or maintainable proportions. Poaching also has secondary impacts. If herbivores such as deer, gaur, and wild pig are killed without respite, a tigress, which needs to make about 50 or 60 kills a year to survive, won’t be able to raise her cubs. The third thing is, when we take species out of a wildlife community, we are not even sure what the ultimate impact will be. You may be taking out a species of civet or a species of bird that is crucial for pollinating a tree or dispersing its seeds. So, rampant poaching is dismantling, at random, a very intricate piece of machinery that nature has built over millions of years of symbiosis, the consequences of which we do not even fully comprehend today.
What’s the modus operandi of poachers in our forests?
There is a common misconception that a poacher is always someone who shoots animals with a gun. In actual fact, poaching takes place in very many different ways. Poachers are often harmless and humble looking locals operating quietly in the forest. A very common technique is to set snares on trails used by animals… these are simple snares made of telephone wire or motorcycle clutch cables, which can kill a deer or even a tiger. ‘Deadfall traps’ are set, ‘jaw traps’ are set…..some of these are extremely cruel. But one thing is common to all these forms of silent poaching – they are very hard to detect. You can hear a gun shot, and try to corner the poacher; but a silently set snare, a poisoned carcass or a deadfall trap is a different matter. You may not even know such poaching is going on, but it’s going on all over the country in our forests on a massive scale.
Can we convince local people to stop poaching through awareness programmes and education?
Sometimes a view is held that if you educate local people, they will take care of wildlife. I think this is a simplistic view. A lot of killing of wildlife takes place because there are hardened criminal elements involved; there is a profitable trade involved. These are people who are not going to listen to lectures and go away as converted conservationists. They are relentless and will continue to operate. The only thing that works with them – like it does for rhino poachers in Kaziranga – is strong enforcement.https://www.linkedin.com/embeds/publishingEmbed.html?articleId=8239795680012608482&li_theme=light
Patrolling, anti-poaching camps, and well-armed guards willing to take on the poachers all these are needed, besides education programs. In such situations it’s almost like a trench war between poachers and wildlife protection staff. So, while education is helpful in the long run, it does not do away with the need for serious and strong enforcement. Guns and guards are necessary to fight poachers. Who should ensure such protection, whether it should be the State Government, Central Government or some local body are all questions for us to debate – but the need for protecting nature against criminals cannot be denied.
What about the issue of people living in our wildlife reserves?
One of the dilemmas that India is facing in trying to save tigers, elephants, lion-tailed macaques and such other highly endangered wildlife species is the problem that there are human settlements inside many of our protected areas. Unlike in the heartland of rain forests in Africa or Amazonia, in our case we are not talking of very primitive cultures that are simply living off the land at very low densities of 4-5 people per 100 Sq Km. We are talking of entire villages of people with aspirations for improving their economic status, who are carrying on agriculture and raising livestock to generate cash incomes.
Essentially, these communities want to access all the services that you and I have as privileged people- hospitals, schools, roads, communication and employment opportunities. If you were to deliver all these social services and economic development to the heart of our protected area system, we are certainly going to lose them. To me, the solution is very clear – the services and economic development that these people are demanding must be provided to them – in a very attractive package outside the protected area system; on landscapes that are adjacent to parks or maybe even away from them.
A lot of non-timber forest products (NTFP) such as honey, fruits, nuts, bark and deer antlers are collected from our forests by local people. Does this have any negative impacts?
It is understandable that timber felling damages forests. But even if you take away dead trees or fallen trees that are full of nest holes and cavities, a lot of species get affected. For the wildlife community that uses it, even a dead tree is a very useful resource. And, there are the so-called Minor Forest Products (MFP) or Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFP). These could be the bark of some species of trees, the fruit of some others or the seed from a third one, or they may simply be products like cane and bamboo.
All these products are now being exploited, not for subsistence consumption by a few forest dwellers in remote areas, but to supply organized industries that are catering to a huge and growing urban middleclass. Take for instance the honey collected from the forest – it gets labelled and exported as a premium product and ends up on a middle class dining table. The same thing happens with Phyllanthus or gooseberry fruits; the bark of many trees like Cinnamon and Machilus goes to feed big industry; the bark of the latter, for instance, are used for manufacturing incense sticks. Debarking these trees actually kills them.
Over exploitation proves problematic
The variety, and rates at which these products are being exploited have serious implications for the survival of wildlife. Some items like Phyllanthus or Myristica fruits are food for wildlife. They are often consumed in times of greatest nutritional stress. Depriving wildlife species of this nutrition at critical times will have adverse effects on their health and numbers in unimaginable ways.
The other thing about NTFP is that the method of exploitation itself is often very dangerous to wildlife and forests. Many of the extractive methods involve destroying the tree or the plant; others involve heavy usage that affects regeneration. Many minor forest product collection methods are cruel – for example, the use of fire is a common method to collect various kinds of fruits and nuts; fire is commonly associated with minor forest product collection or honey collection. So, the impact of these very innocuous sounding collection activities is quite hard on wildlife and natural habitats.
But isn’t fire a part of forest ecology? Doesn’t it promote regeneration and improve the habitat
Fire in a large, natural landscape has a lot of complex effects, some of which are definitely positive. But what we are talking about in relation to our tiny protected areas is very different. As I mentioned earlier, our protected areas form less than 4% of our land area; there are no longer any large wild landscapes left to mediate the long-term impacts of fires. We are talking of tiny protected areas being repeatedly subjected to annual fires caused by humans.
These are not lightning induced natural fires as in the case of North American forests. These are mostly man-made fires caused by graziers, minor forest product collectors, hunters or careless people. These repeated fires mostly have a severe and negative effect on wildlife. What such repeated arson does, is gradually remove the kinds of trees or understorey plants that are not able to withstand repeated fires, and replace them with hard, thick barked, often inedible plants.https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-5018714880587597&output=html&h=280&adk=3584824177&adf=3045409152&pi=t.aa~a.4248256546~i.55~rp.4&w=1200&fwrn=4&fwrnh=100&lmt=1667350391&num_ads=1&rafmt=1&armr=3&sem=mc&pwprc=8184356145&ad_type=text_image&format=1200x280&url=https%3A%2F%2Fthinkwildlifefoundation.com%2Fwhat-are-the-main-threats-to-wildlife-in-india%2F&host=ca-host-pub-2644536267352236&fwr=0&pra=3&rh=200&rw=1200&rpe=1&resp_fmts=3&wgl=1&fa=27&uach=WyJXaW5kb3dzIiwiMTQuMC4wIiwieDg2IiwiIiwiMTA2LjAuNTI0OS4xMjAiLFtdLGZhbHNlLG51bGwsIjY0IixbWyJDaHJvbWl1bSIsIjEwNi4wLjUyNDkuMTIwIl0sWyJHb29nbGUgQ2hyb21lIiwiMTA2LjAuNTI0OS4xMjAiXSxbIk5vdDtBPUJyYW5kIiwiOTkuMC4wLjAiXV0sZmFsc2Vd&dt=1667350386106&bpp=1&bdt=633&idt=2&shv=r20221027&mjsv=m202210260101&ptt=9&saldr=aa&abxe=1&cookie=ID%3Dc16dd66c7ea556ff-22c0187311d400d6%3AT%3D1656407321%3ART%3D1656407321%3AS%3DALNI_MbZV_Ilx23V3ARXkjuv_LfmtBv7fQ&gpic=UID%3D000009d34f468bb2%3AT%3D1663776528%3ART%3D1667350373%3AS%3DALNI_MYD1CUvxhTz9abJ62JCr45zfR8V7w&prev_fmts=0x0&nras=2&correlator=7739829275572&frm=20&pv=1&ga_vid=1606887417.1631528949&ga_sid=1667350386&ga_hid=435179262&ga_fc=1&u_tz=0&u_his=3&u_h=864&u_w=1536&u_ah=816&u_aw=1536&u_cd=24&u_sd=1&dmc=8&adx=350&ady=4686&biw=1899&bih=860&scr_x=0&scr_y=1251&eid=44759876%2C44759927%2C44759842%2C42531705%2C44774293%2C44775016&oid=2&pvsid=3605066070089125&tmod=258907804&uas=3&nvt=1&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fthinkwildlifefoundation.com%2Fblog%2F&eae=0&fc=1408&brdim=0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C1536%2C0%2C1536%2C816%2C1920%2C860&vis=1&rsz=%7C%7Cs%7C&abl=NS&fu=128&bc=31&ifi=2&uci=a!2&btvi=1&fsb=1&xpc=L0NSbaHM1O&p=https%3A//thinkwildlifefoundation.com&dtd=5033
Secondly, fire has a tremendous impact on ground nesting birds, reptiles or even young ones of larger animals like deer and tiger. So, the effect of fire is largely a negative one and we need to treat it as such. However, you cannot generalize too much, since we need location specific research to understand the effects of forest fires and for that matter a lot of other things…
What about habitat management practices? Are they necessary?
For the most part there is no need to “manage” wildlife habitats beyond protecting them from human impacts. If there is any need, it should emerge from careful scientific studies. Unfortunately, the increased funding for conservation is leading to massive, needless and intrusive management of habitats: needless roads, check dams, and aggressive vegetation manipulations are now commonplace in protected areas, simply because once money is allocated for a project it becomes mandatory to spend it on such activities.
These are destroying the last remnants of natural habitat in our best-protected wildlife habitats. Importune mismanagement of forest resources and official encroachment of wildlife habitat is a reality we have to accept and develop reasonable mechanisms to tackle in the future.
What is the role of science and research in this complex enterprise that we call conservation?
Nature has been battered by us, humans, over thousands of years, ever since we invented agriculture and animal husbandry. We have compounded these traditional pressures through modern commerce, industry and cultural changes, and even through “eco-tourism” and “habitat management”. Nature is now like a patient in an intensive care unit, thanks to our own actions.
We need to study and understand how things work in nature if we are to evolve a rational solution to conservation problems. Unfortunately, a predominant section of the environmental community constantly proposes conservation solutions that are based on wishful thinking and political correctness, rather than on real data or hard science. These “conservationists” are acting like a doctor prescribing cures without even studying the patient’s problems. Without hard, research-based, data-driven wildlife science, we cannot see through this fog of ideological misconception or arrive at real conservation solutions. And we don’t have too much time left before the last remaining wild places disappear off the face of this country.
Do you still see a future for Wildlife?
Our protected areas are tiny islands; they are like ice cubes melting in the sun. The pressure is on, and we need to be very clear and say ” hands off from exploitation ” at least in these protected areas. This country has a history of thousands of years. Obviously there are a lot of social injustices that have gone on over this vast landscape. But by sacrificing this 4% land in protected areas, will we be able to make a dent on these long standing social problems? If the problem is something we have not been able to solve on 96% of the land, I am convinced that it cannot be solved by sacrificing this 4% of the land that is now in wildlife protected areas, to meet some temporary social need. For the same reason, to a country that is endowed with such intelligence and resources, it will not involve any major social sacrifice to protect these remaining natural landscapes.
We need to view our protected areas very differently. If the Taj Mahal, for instance, is dynamited and broken up into pieces, and the stones are used to build a housing colony in Agra, we would all undoubtedly call that stupid. Even then, the Taj Mahal can be rebuilt, if we have its design and plan. But once we destroy these intricate ecological webs there is no bringing them back.https://www.linkedin.com/embeds/publishingEmbed.html?articleId=8838814754419312411&li_theme=light
Conclusion
People are rational beings. Once they are made to deliberately implore the seriousness of ecological problems, they will modify their behaviour. Therefore I do not see the future of wildlife in India as too bleak…..there are rays of hope: individuals and conservation groups, government officials, businessmen and local communities who are beginning to understand the above realities and are trying to generate pragmatic solutions at specific locations. Every can do their bit to help save wildlife. Furthermore, technology has allow citizen science projects to upscale significantly.
