Hello! We’re excited to announce the very first Vrains Rarepair Weeks event!

What is this event about?

This event is for people to celebrate and create content for the rarepairs in the VRAINS fandom.

What constitutes as a rarepair, and what ships are allowed/not allowed?

The mods decided that a rarepair in the VRAINS fandom is any ship with less than 50 fanfics on Ao3. Therefore, the only ship that we won’t reblog are pieces of content where Ryouken Kogami x Yusaku Fujiki is the main pairing.

How can I participate?

Simply create content with a VRAINS rarepair(s) for the prompt of the day and post it to your tumblr. Please tag it with “#vrainsrarepairweeks” and/or mention the blog, and we’ll reblog it. Feel free to participate in all of the days or some of the days, it’s totally up to you! The mods will reblog content for up to a week after the event ends.

What type of content can I make?

Any type of content is allowed! Graphics, fanart, fanfic, meta, fanvids, cosplay, you name it.

Are there any rules?

Since the mods wanted this event to be a way for people to express their creativity, we decided that we weren’t going to be super strict with rules. However, to keep things civil and to prevent a fandom war, we have a few simple rules.

1. No bashing any ships. There’s absolutely no reason to bash any ships whether in your creation or when looking at other participants’. The mods will tag the official ship name (found on the VRAINS shiplist) on our reblogged posts, so if there’s a ship that you don’t like, please simply block the tag.

2. Tag all content appropriately. Please keep all triggering content as well as NSFW content under a cut and tag it appropriately. The mods will make sure to do this as well.

3. No stealing/copying other participants’ work. We created VRAINS Rarepair Weeks for people to share their own creations for VRAINS rare pairs. Therefore we won’t reblog any stolen or copied content.

4. Have fun! Of course, this event is for all of us to share our love for the VRAINS rarepairs, so please have fun creating your content, and we can’t wait to see it!
