So if they could pull in Ann to the metaverse by proximity before she got the app, how were they able to have a hideout at the access way? Wouldn't the risk of drawing people in accidentally be way too high? If you compare the distance of Ann and the pt at the alleyway vs the public and the pt in the access way, she was further ?

Does this mean that there has to be a specific criteria for who can go? That makes sense, say Yaldabaoth decides in advance who should join Akira, since random strangers would only complicate his plans.

AND YET Akechi can pull in an entire swat team????? What is the deciding factor?

Also, is it only determined by horizontal distance? The ceiling of Leblanc doesn't seem that high up. Presumably it's more spherical if a whole person will travel, rather than individual parts. So how big is its radius? Again, gauging the distance ann had in the alleyway, since I believe that to be the furthest we've seen anyone get pulled in from, could we say that, if the area of effect is a sphere, then someone directly under on a different floor could get pulled in? Like Sojiro? Or random clients lmao—

So when does Sojiro find out about DQ and the Phantom Thieves and how do they alk explain it to him?

They try to leave hints and clues for him to find. However when DQ gets the 'Hitman Deadline' during the Kaneshiro Palace arc, Sojiro was very quick to notice three suspicious men outside Leblanc one night. It wasn't hard to recognize them as gang members from their shady actions or concealed firearms.

They were Kaneshiro's men looking for possible locations of DQ and shit hit the fan when they noticed Sojiro. Like any other thug, the gangsters thought about 'questioning the man'. Maybe even get some bribery cash to leave him alone.

They didn't account for DQ leaving Purrvis to look after Leblanc that night. Due to the hit, a monster was often left behind as lookout whenever both the wrangler and Ren were out. The feline knocked out the gangsters before they could harm Sojiro but did terrify the man for a hot second.

Ren and DQ had some explaining to do once they came in the shop to the man giving Purrvis some curry.

Persona 5 fanbase , I need some writing advice for a little fanfic project

So for fun I made up a Persona 5 Royal au where there's some canon divergence but the main change is that Ren Amamiya is an octoling soldier pulled from beyond time and space by the power of the Velvet Room to act as The Trickster and finds himself in the unfamiliar surroundings of Yongen-Jaya. For the first one shot I wanted to write Sojiro Sakura finding the cephalopod outside of LeBlanc and bascially being stuck taking in it since there aren't exactly other options. I've never written any of those characters before so I wanted to ask the fan base for some help. So how do you guys think " Beginning of the game " Sojiro would take finding some definitely not human kid outside of LeBlanc, I don't exactly have a canon instance to base my writing on. Any help will be appreciated, this is more of a fanfic I'm writing for fun by just messing around with two games I like.

Sojiro wakes up painfully early in the morning, so unless you’re a heavy sleeper or up already, it’s more than likely that you’ll be stirred awake before the rising sun pours through the windows. It’s not his intention to do so and he’ll apologize with a groggy fondness if he notices your eyes cracked open and trying to fight off the sleep clinging to them, but will otherwise keep quiet if you remain undisturbed and in the land of dreams. He knows he should be getting up and ready to head out to the cafe and setting up, but he can’t help but lay beneath the sheets with you for a few moments longer. His arm will typically be draped around you (if not one under your head) when you wake up and if it’s not and he’s still beside you, something is definitely wrong. No harm in that, he silently muses. Sojiro feels pretty bad if he wakes you up, but tries to coax you back into sleep. If you’re indignant about staying up with him for whatever reason, he’ll go along with it without much of a hassle, but give you the most unimpressed I told you so look when you’re exhausted later in the day.

His morning routine is surprisingly long once he manages to drag himself out of bed, although it’s nothing extreme. If you’re still sleeping, he’ll leave the bedroom door slightly ajar so he can peek in when he passes by but disappear into the bathroom. If you’re awake and your routine aligns with his, then he’ll share the space so you can get ready next to him. Regardless of the scenario, he tends to reflect a bit and may watch you from the corner of his eye with the most loving gaze you can imagine. It’s been so long since he’s had someone by his size and twice as long since he’s been in a committed relationship that the knowledge of actually having a partner can be dumbfounding. He’s still in disbelief that he’s managed to be with someone like you: a person so understanding of how his daughter comes first, how he leaves his involvement in the government behind and doesn’t pry. Although his regrets follow him to this day, he’s happy with what and who he has now. If you catch him, he’ll dismiss it with a knowing grin and open up if you try and prod it out of him.

No matter how long you and Sojiro have been together for, it’s a known and obvious fact that Futaba rarely leaves her room. By the way things are moved slightly around the house (namely the kitchen and bathroom), it’s clear that she comes out if she needs something when no one else is around to catch her. Every morning he’ll take some time to make breakfast and leave a plate out for you and his daughter to take when you’re both hungry, knowing the smell of food will draw her out eventually. It’s not conventional by any means, but he wants to make sure she eats and has a decent diet outside the junk food she’s always asking for. He knows he isn’t obligated to, but he really enjoys preparing bento for you so he knows you have something to eat later in the day. That is, unless you work with him in Leblanc where he’ll make you whatever kind of curry you enjoy. If you’re up with him and not in any rush to go, he wouldn’t mind the help prepping the food! Really, anything you do is a moment he treasures and can’t say no time. Before he leaves, he’ll give you a kiss (or check in on you if you’re still sleeping) and shoot you a text to have a good day.

Sojiro is a little bewildered to see Futaba out of her room for a good portion of time once her Palace and Medjed has been taken care of, unbeknownst to him. Don’t get him wrong, he’s incredibly happy that she’s taking steps out of her comfort zone and making friends, but it’s an abrupt change all the same. His morning routine is largely the same, but this time he’s joined by Futaba during breakfast. It does get a laugh of him to see her drag herself from her room and plop into her seat, trying to force her eyes to remain open so early in the morning and not fall asleep then and there. It does take her some time to get used to you, but warms up pretty easily and might even start leaning against you as she nods off if you join them for breakfast. The young girl sometimes helps make bentos with him, but he oftentimes just has her go back to bed because he doesn’t want her to hurt herself if she’s too drowsy. It’s a wonderful change that warms his heart and from then on, Sojiro starts his days in the comfort of his family and in the presence of the people he loves most.

Prior to Futaba’s change of heart, Sojiro didn’t like leaving Yongen-Jaya for long. He didn’t have to worry about her going anywhere, but if something happened to her then he wanted to be there for her as quickly as possible. He didn’t know what he would do with himself if he left and returned, only to find out something happened that he could have lent a hand in preventing. Because of that, he’d prefer to go somewhere local if possible, but you’ll have to have damn good negotiation skills to convince him to go somewhere a bit farther. After the Medjed situation and Akira holding a fair amount of his trust, Sojiro is a bit easier to convince to go somewhere a bit farther than Yongen-Jaya knowing that his daughter is in good hands. There’s this sushi place that he really enjoys going to and it can be a pretty busy during the evening, but it has a great atmosphere and is comfortable to frequent. It’s a bit pricey, but money isn’t a problem for him and the food is always delicious. In fact, he considers it a great date spot and a nice getaway from the kids who are definitely giving him more grey hairs than he can count.
