super cute! writing for the ladies is always fun~

It was getting late, and you were getting impatient. Otome had been in her study all evening, working on who knows what, for hours, and all you wanted was for her to tear herself from it for some much needed kisses. The occasional peck from over her shoulder wasn’t enough, as she had shooed you away with a laugh, saying that she would be done soon. But soon wasn’t close enough. With a plan in mind and some pocky in hand, you leant over her desk, covering her work up without making a mess.

“Otomeeee,” You waggled the pocky stick in front of her face, hoping that the treat would entice her enough to stop working, “C’mooooon! You’ve been sitting here all evening! It’s not faiiirrrrrr!”

“Not fair?” Despite your whining, Otome didn’t seem that annoyed. By now she was accustomed to you wanting her to pay attention to you at random times, and even admitted once that she found it pretty endearing. She looked up at you with a curious hum, “You’re vying for my attention by… offering me a snack?” Genuine confusion was written all over her expression, “I know you like sweet snacks like pocky but they’re really a hit or miss for me. If you want to eat something together, we can do that, but why don��t you eat those and I can have something else?”

“Huh?”

“Hm?” Your intentions had flown over her head.

“I’m uh, trying to play the pocky game with you.”

“Oh? What’s that?”

As you explained the premise of the game, a very faint blush showed on her face, “So the premise is just an elaborate way to kiss me? We could just…” Initiating physical affection was far from being Otome’s strong suit, and talking about it was just as difficult, “We could just kiss. If that’s what you want.”

“But it’s more fun this way!”

She couldn’t resist for too long, not with your adorable face so excited at the thought of playing a cute game with her.

“What a fun idea,” Otome giggled lightly, a rare sound to treasure, “Fufu, alright then. Kissing you is a better way to spend my time than working, after all,” When she looked up to see you eagerly holding a stick of pocky in your hand, a gentle smile graced her tired face. She put down her pen and rested her chin on one hand with a sigh, “I see you won’t be letting up any time soon. I guess I’ll have to humour you,” Her lips parted slightly, prompting you to make the next move.

You went face to face with Otome and held the pocky in-between. She was quick to catch on, copying your action of putting a small amount of the pocky in your mouth. A few turns went by and neither of you backed down. Judging by the way Otome’s eyes perked up as your faces got closer, it looked like she was understanding the appeal of the game. Eventually her lips brushed yours, earning you a soft sigh, the same one she always did when she was ready to wind down for the day. You could have lingered there for longer but Otome quickly bit off her share of the pocky and leaned back in her chair, “Are you satisfied?”

“No…”

“Oh? Ah, I see. I will have to amend this,” She stood up from her chair and held her hand out, “Would you like to join me? I’m quite tired now, so I’d like to go to bed. And perhaps we can exchange more kisses there.”

“Yes!”

Mission accomplished.

-It's probably sound ironic due to her lack of connection with own son, yet she was looking forward to meeting your child.

-Otome is not a type to get some quick love affairs, and if you start dating that means she actually values you very much and wants to prolong her relationship with you as long as possible, and of course get to know everything about you.

-She gets interested after the very first time when you mention you adopted a baby and now she's already 6 years old. It was just a small chit chat and you were just really excited about your precious daughter growing up so fast, yet Otome started asking for more details.

-Your face is just so adorable when you talk about your kid, and this softness in your voice was so sincere.. She's willing to listen to your bubbling for hours. Well, so it's time for a new family to gather together.

-Otome already visited your house a few times before, when your daughter was in kindergarten, but she didn't feel nervous this time. Her calm and confident aura can charm anyone. And your child too.

-"You shouldn't thank me for that, that's my destiny.." - she gets on one knee and looks at your child with a sincere soft smile. - "And now I'll protect you too, okay, little bunny?"

-All this nervousness faded away as now Ichijiku was too pleased with such words. Maybe now she's flattered, but tomorrow she will totally tease you about this, just a little bit.

-No, but actually, she really appreciated this meeting. Back ago, all Ichijiku had as a light in this darkness was her sister, and now, when she gets so lonely without her, building a new, happy family with you is a new reason for her to wake up.

Otome lives for the afternoon tea times you get together. It’s such a simple thing yet finding time to spend with you, alone at that, came few and far in-between when her days seemed so busy. It wasn’t as though she ever expected to find love again either which meant she tried a great deal to keep you in her life, her actions never desperate but just dedicated enough you could tell she cared. It was a little intimidating to have a lover like her in such a powerful position but these tea times reminded you that she was only human, with her own set of flaws and dreams and opinions that made her into who she really was. A/N: I love cooking headcanons! Cooking in general is such a fun thing to do haha hope this is along the lines of what you wanted. Enjoy~

Juto Iruma

I can definitely see cooking with Juto ending up as a date in it of itself

he’s definitely drinking the red wine as he cooks with it

and the meals that he ends up cooking with you are always really fancy and delicate, and usually look just as good as they taste

I can see him being a fan of cooking with you when you’re cooking just to make a meal for dinner rather than cooking for meal prep

because he wants to be able to enjoy what he’s cooking for you, so you’ll mainly cook together on special occasions

I can see him enjoying lots of fresh vegetables and really nice meats like fish or lamb (he likes cheese so lots of that as well)

he’s definitely one for aesthetics so he wants to plate the food as well as cook it

despite this, he’ll wear any apron that’s clean and absolutely rolls up his sleeves exposing his super attractive forearms~

when you’re both in the kitchen together, he actually becomes quite serious because he has a way he likes to do things

if he notices that you’re not doing something right, he’s going to be strict in teaching you the correct way to do it, but is absolutely going to teach you properly

he’ll dull his sharp words with a soft kiss which will almost make up for it

Juto strikes me as the type to be keenly aware of what you’re doing and when you do something right, he’ll make a note of it

and then later on, he’ll have you focus on doing that one thing so that you can feel included and the meal can also still be good

he prefers cooking dinner with you, but will cook lunch from time to time as well - not really ever breakfast though

whenever it’s date night and the two of you are cooking, he always brings out the nice silverware

and even though you tease him about it, you think it’s cute that he only wants the best things for you

Kuko Harai

cooking with Kuko more often than not leads to disaster unless you’re an amazing cook

since Kuko often eats at the temple (fun fact: his least favorite food is Shoujin - traditional buddhist vegetarian cuisine),

I feel like he’s used to eating really simple meals and not really expensive or crazy foods

he’s also the type to not want to over-complicate things, so whenever the two of you cook together, it’s pretty casual things

but with that being said, he’s always looking to make things more exciting so he loves spices and flavorings in the things you make him

and wants to eat as much of that as he possibly can before having to go back to eating temple food

he really likes making rice based meals or pasta based meals with you because it’s fairly easy and doesn’t take that much time

his favorite food is chicken karaage so if you ever want to make him happy, feed him lots of that

especially if it’s spicy

the time spent in the kitchen is more fun than actually productive, and more often than not, ends in the food getting all over the countertops

and the two of you giggling while running around the kitchen

seriously, please have a real adult present for this

despite not having a natural knack for it though, if you ask him to cook with you, Kuko is all for it

he just wants to do whatever makes you happy and if that’s cooking, he will aspire to become a master chef

or at least stand still for long enough to follow your instructions

I can absolutely imagine the two of you arguing about ingredient amounts or sizes, but it’s all in good fun

whenever you introduce him to a new food or cook a new meal with him, he’s over the moon to try it

his motto in the kitchen is to never knock something unless you’ve tried it at least once before

Otome Tohoten

Otome is a classy, classy lady who has not cooked in quite some time because she’s always had servants and butlers to cook for her

despite this, she has quite an eye for cooking and is never one to back down from a challenge

so if you as her to cook with you, she’s coolly saying that she knows exactly what to do

but of course, you find out within minutes that she actually doesn’t really know what she’s doing as much as she pretends like she does

although you find this exceptionally funny, don’t tease he about it or else she will get flustered

or maybe do tease her about it so that you can get a fun reaction

Otome is extremely good at adapting though, so as soon as you teach her how to do anything, she’s immediately amazing at it

within her first few tries she’s already better at dicing the vegetables than you and although this could irritate you, you’re honestly just so impressed

I can see her wanting to make something really nice and fancy, but once you go through the ingredient list and all the steps involved

she humbles herself and mentions that a simple chicken dish will suffice

she’s amazing at pairing the wine with the meal so whatever you’re making, tell her in advance and she’ll bring the perfect wine to pair

she’s also the type that wants to learn all of the aspects of something so don’t skip any steps in the recipe otherwise she’s going to ask you a million questions about it

if you buy her an apron even though she doesn’t really cook, she would be extremely happy about it

definitely seems like the type to love talking about cooking, but then when it comes time to actually do it she supervises

and although she’s really helpful at pointing out what needs to be done and what you can do at the same time to make the process faster

sometimes you just have to kiss her cheek and guide her to the dinner table, telling her that dinner will be done shortly

and then have the butlers serve it to the both of you on silver platters

"No need to hurry so much, dear.." - her tone was much calmer than yours, yet also with some light excitement. She never thought that someone would be capable of making her feel at ease but here you're, unwillingly lifting the corners of her lips with your sweet behavior..

"Ahh, but I just can't wait! We didn't go out together for a very long time..!" - you whine, puff out your cheeks in a playful manner.

"You're right, my dear.." - a small smile on her face gets wider, as she tickles your chin with her fingers, before pulling you into a quick kiss. - "And I'm willing to fix my bad attitude today in any way, angel.."

Such sudden expressions of love were your favorite, as it always was hard to predict when your girlfriend would surprise you like that..

"Any way?! You even let me spoon feed you?" - you giggle again, pulling her closer to the sweets cafe you wanted to visit today. - "Ahh, then I totally can't wait now, hehe..!"

The insides of the building were absolutely adorable, in light pastel colors, not that bright, perfect for Otome's taste. With her calm and more emotionless behavior, she let you lead her here, watching with delight how you, her girlfriend, spoke so easily and friendly with everyone around, not ashamed to ask stuff about something or just act a little silly.

"Ahh, look! It's just like me and you!" - with a small titter you pointed out on a pastry showcase.

She leaned closer just to look at a seven layer cake with white sprinkles and gorgeous purple sugar flowers made of mastic on the top, and then at the group of small cupcakes with bright rainbow buttercream and bunch of details and decoration on them.

"Want to order it, then?" - not able to control her emotions, Otome chuckled and looked back at you. Well, your face right now definitely was as bright as these little cupcakes, luring all attention to your lively figure.

"Of course..! And I already found something for the drinks.." - with a more naughty smile, you take her to the drinks stand, showing a special offer that dragged your attention, when your lover was looking at cakes.

"Special offer for couples..?" - she mumbled, and her brows twitched, just for a second, yet you were able to notice this quick flash of confusion as she read the title of the brochure with a photo of a big glass of strawberry milkshake and lovers' heart straw. - "This is such a cliche, dear.."

"But you said you would do everything I want today..!" - you laugh, touching her waist and embracing her in a soft hug.

"That's not exactly what I said.." - oh, you totally can feel how she is trying to hide her nervousness with a tired sigh. - "But it seems I don't really have a choice, am I..?"

Maybe, as a Prime Minister and just as a dominating confident woman she can put you in place, yet.. Spoiling you was her new addiction, and your games were always so amusing, bringing new interesting emotions from her soul.

"Let's sit here, then.." - she showed one of the small tables in the corner and you can't help but giggle. Even right now still so stealthy, trying to find the most calm place in the loudness and brightness of the cafe.. That was Otome, after all, and you nod, walking with her hand in hand to wait for your order..

"Aww, here's so many details.." - you mumble as you two sit down, eyes wandering all over the place. - "Look at these tissues with little hearts! And these small postcards on every table.. 'We hope you have a great day!' It's so sweet, I don't even know what the cutest thing is here..!"

"I know.." - Otome softly chortles with amusement, enjoying your sincere joy. - "You. You're the cutest thing here.."

"Aww, and you're saying this right after complaining about our date being a cliche?" - you laughed along with your girlfriend, feeling as your fingertips touch her.

"Mm, okay, I will call it some ageless classics then.." - it feels so refreshing to hear such playful silly notes in her voice.

Yet then she moved her hand further, covering your one and stroking your wrist with her fingers in some slow, gentle manner. Such a light movement but sudden blush appeared on your cheeks as you looked at her pale face that now was so mesmerizing, filled with sincere love.. It was so rare when the smoky grayness of her eyes got thinner, letting her real emotions show in her gaze, and you can't help but get hypnotized every time, trying to see more and more of this piece of her inner world..

"Your order.." - The soft voice of the waitress makes you wake up from thoughts, and you quickly thank her, getting back to the bright reality of a sweets cafe.

"Oh, it's bigger than I thought.." - Otome raised an eyebrow, looking at the glass with a milkshake, yet you just giggle.

"Well, cause it's for two people.. Let's try?"

And despite you being in such a good energetic mood today, seeing the face of your lover so close as you two drink through shared straw makes your heart tickle, and you get more silent, just admiring her beauty and such prolonged eye contact that show you more than any words can.

"More sugary than my casual drinks, but it's very pleasant.." - pulling away, Otome nodded with a smile, taking a small fork to try her cake yet you quickly stopped her.

"Someone forgot about my words back then in the streets?" - you stand up for a moment and swap plates with her. - "If you wanted to try your pretty cake, just ask..!"

She closed her eyes for a moment, as if she was experiencing internal conflict. There's so many people around, and of course most of them recognized her, and as a cold imperious Prime Minister she didn't want to ruin her image. But.. isn't it her personal life where she can be happy? Where she finally can feel some care and love, even in such a goofy way..?

"Alright, darling.." - a small smile returned to her lips as she leaned closer. - "Let me take a bite."

Your face also gets softer as you do understand how much it's cost her to actually be herself, so you carefully put a small piece of cake in a fork and feed her with a smile of adoration, without any teasing.

"How is it? Did I make a good choice when ordering this?" - voice drops to a whisper, as you return the favor, caressing her knuckles with your free hand.

"It's not bad.. And what would you say about this?" - with these words she carefully took one of the cupcakes, helping you bite a little.

"Mm..!! Yummy" - you giggle, quickly chewing a sweet dough. - "Ahh, I even want to drink again.."

For a moment you both get silent and the Otome raises an eyebrow, waiting for you to drink, yet you just look away with an awkward smile:

"Wait, this is a couple's milkshake, we should drink it together, you know..? So, um.."

"You always have such silly ideas.." - she was unable to hide her laugh, actually enjoying this pure shyness of yours. - "Alright, dear, if you want to.."

You both leaned closer again, now just holding hands and looking at each other while drinking. Is this your cupcake too sweet or is this tickling in your stomach from such an intimate passion moment..?
