Hello I am a big fan of his work in DC Identity Crisis Are you working in another projects for DC comics or Marvel? I missed your work please?

Not at the moment. I’m basically retired from mainstream work having done it for decades. They’re corporately driven and as it goes, it’s time to give younger and cheaper talent their shot. It happens like that in the industry, we eventually stop getting calls and fade away. Occasionally you might get an email-that happened when I was committed to Order and Outrage-but those are few and far between.

That also happens with editors. They give up the reins to talent with their own ideas on how they want it done. They and the publishers follow the trends that don’t apply anymore to older artists.

So I’m here. Hawking my wares, showing up at shows and taking on the other bits and pieces I couldn’t do when I was contracted exclusively.

Right now, I’m working on a show poster for Coheed and Cambria. Then I have my commissions lists, shows in Ottawa and Sioux Falls, and working out another venue for the recently cancelled Order and Outrage.

Who knows, maybe some self publishing. I have a few ideas.

someone: how angsty do you want your identity reveal scenario to be?

me: so what if right after Anya's powers are revealed Twilight asks her why she tricked him into adopting her, if she was put into it by someone else in order to expose him, and Anya tries to tell him she wanted to help and he asks why would you want to help me and she's like "because you want a peaceful world where children don't cry" and he nearly has a flashback triggered by that and she runs and hugs his legs saying she wants to help and be good and Twilight just. Pushes her away. Gently and without physically hurting her but emotionally it's a massacre. And he sees her devastated face because of his rejection and realizes he has now caused her the pain he never wanted to see on another child's face, and he thanks whatever lucky stars he doesn't deserve that Yor is there because he cannot process anything else and just leaves out the door, leaving Anya to bawl in Yor's arms :)

#he would eventually drag his ass back home #but Yor would be so outraged she would slap him so hard his jaw would nearly dislocate #and look look I have an entire story planned for this #like Yor stays with Anya all day because she wouldn't stop crying #they call Yor for an assignment and she has to say no #cause she cannot leave Anya even with a babysitter at the state she's in #and then the Shopkeeper is pissed and orders one of his assassins to poison Anya #and she ends up in the hospital #Yor and Loid find out who poisoned her and Loid goes to kill the ppl responsible #but it was a TRAP! Shopkeeper captures him and orders Yor to kill him #but Yor kills Shopkeeper instead!! less for Loid's sake and more because of what he did to Anya #they cover it all up and they go back to the hospital #Loid has a breakdown and cries next to an unconscious Anya telling her how sorry he is about what he did to her #and that it's his fault that she was poisoned #she wakes up and he apologizes again and says he'll understand if she's mad #but she just hugs him and for the first time HE HUGS HER BACK and they're both crying #and eventually he falls asleep next to her on her hospital bed #Yor finds them sleeping like that and decides to give him another cautious chance #Spy x Family #sxf plot bunny #I can't wait for this to actually happen and for me to learn about it in seven years when it'll happen in the anime *clown emoji*

Jesus Christ, what people(s) first arrived in Scandinavia after the melting of the ice has absolutely no relevance to the colonisation of the Sámi. Who cares that, yes, technically Germanic-speaking groups probably arrived in (southern) Scandinavia before the Finno-Ugric ancestors of the Sámi. It's not a matter about blood relation to the actual literal first humans that arrived in some arbitrarily delineated physical space, it's about your concrete relationship to settler-colonialism - as settler or settled, something which is determined through actually existing legal, social and political structures. This is the kind of shit analysis you get as a result of the emphasis of noble savage wooery about being 'one with the land' and whatever being emphasised in left-wing spaces over any concrete material understanding of colonialism and the economic meaning of colonialism - the Sámi are an indigenous people because the Swedish and Danish empires decided to uproot their lifeways and force them away from their traditional lands to seize it in order to make use of the mineral and forest wealth there. Whatever happened between groups of people that no-one save the most crazed 19th century nationalist would describe as "Swedes" and the Sámi some four thousand years ago has zero relevance for this discussion.

If it would make sense for where you live to buy from the Japan site but they won't ship to you, you can use a proxy service.
