Murderhouse Makeover: Decorate houses and hide evidence for wealthy clients!
You play Taylor, a fresh-faced interior designer looking to break into the field. Luckily, a high-end real estate company takes interest in your portfolio! Less luckily, this company specializes in houses owned by murderers. Rich murderers.
At least the pay is good..?
(Taylor’s the purple one)
Keep your clients happy by using their favourite styles of furniture, following any special requests they have, and staying within budget. And, of course, making sure no one finds the evidence.
Paul is your new boss. He finds your clients and signs your paychecks. He does most (all) of the talking, gives hints if you're stuck, but otherwise leaves the dirty work to you.
What would you do for your dream job? If the answer is "anything short of killing a guy myself", this is (will be) the game for you!
(shoutout @bedruil for giving me half a chance to ramble lol)
i dont know how to word this in a way that isn't mean but we NEED more "cringe" minecraft parodies. sometimes things don't need to be good, i think things that are "bad" are actually better. i have such a deep love for them even if sometimes i laugh at them or think they're kinda silly, they're the ones i go back to the most
captainsparklez i love you and your top-notch music videos but what happened to the guys with crappy mics singing over screen recordings of gameplay. or literally just a png or mspaint art. where are they. come back i am begging you
Praise be to my external hard drive, which had a copy of my entire sims 4 folder because I somehow accidentally deleted half of my saves, including my Tolkien one I had been working on for years. I've lost some progress since the old saves were from February 6th, but at least I have them. I was about to cry.
me after spending 2 evenings trying to figure out why my recorded footage from da2 was so dark despite me turning up the brightness/gamma in game (i tried both fraps and nvidia shadowplay to no avail), editing ‘dragonage.ini’ with no result, learning that this issue is nonexistent with directx9 and checking and the lighting records properly but not being able to use hd textures and switching back to dx10, deciding to try out Reshade as the last measure, installing it and figuring out the reason i couldn’t access Reshade menu thru ‘home’ key was because my keybard is a cut version with a very questionable placement of ‘home’ key on a ‘left arrow’ key and not because i downloaded ‘wrong’ version of Reshade or something, i borrowed another keyboard to check my suspicion and i was right, accessing said reshade menu finally and learning that if i up brightness thru it (while in-game gamma is on default 1) the lighting is recorded more correctly (but not entirely because the in-game lighting doesn’t get recorded, even if in-game it look too bright with the reshade’s brightness on top, on recordings it looks okay), learning how to add a custom shader that is not in the default selection of shaders with the Reshade installer, saving it in the right format and adding it into the game, so Reshade can pick it up and fixing the blurry cutscenes by using nvidia control panel
hello age regressors who also play minecraft do u have any java mods/modpacks that you like to play with? i wanna put together a modpack for me when im feelin small and would love suggestions 👉👈
fsr absolutely none of erasabledinosaur’s reshade presets or shaders are working for me rn and reinstalling reshade and all the presets/shaders only broke them more so erm. does anyone have any recs for other reshade presets that are bright and colorful but not blindingly so? specifically suited for sims 3 as that’s what i’m playing rn
I WAS GONNA MAKE A POST ABOUT HOW IT'S WEIRD THAT POKEMON HOME DOESN'T HAVE A SIZE COMPARISON TOOL...... IT ALREADY DOES???? YOU'RE TELLING ME THIS HAS EXISTED AND I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT UNTIL NOW?????? MY LIFE IS SAVED
The Sims 4 is really lacking in the vintage electronics department tbh so here’s a set!
Details & info:
This set has 5 items in total:
A VHS machine with 3 swatches; white, gray and black.
A remote control with 3 swatches to match the VHS,
And 2 video cassette tapes!
There’s also a version where the remote & cassettes are stacked on top of and around the VHS. (in case you prefer to have them “all in one”, so to speak).
(Optional) Colorful Pastel & Rainbow recolors of these items can be found HERE.
Both VHS players have slots to place and stack items on top of.
Note(s):
These items are purely decorative and don’t actually function as a Video Home System.
Screenshots were taken using shaders, so colors may differ a little bit in-game.

I've been working on a godot plugin for controlling how pixel art behaves with lighting, and I'm almost done with a really basic version! (more info under the cut)
this plugin is based on some techniques I have been developing over the years, featured most prominently in silt spawn.
it's a huge step forward though, since it requires no setup whatsoever, and it works with any normal light sources in the engine. the way it works is by generating an encoded sprite and a bespoke shader that can really quickly pick the exact color to show for each pixel based on how well-lit it is. as this gif shows, the plugin works with existing light sources and sprites, so you can really use these pixel-picky sprites as much or as little as you need!
now that the main feature is done, all I need to do is finish the UI in the editor, and then I'll feel comfortable releasing a bare-bones version of this plugin. I'm really proud of how it's coming along, and this quick little gif is just the beginning! :D
i made those to get less softness and bring some realism in my ocs' skins. just sharing in case someone finds it useful. i recommend reshade's smart sharpen shader for more sharpness.

Look, there's a reason a lot of classic 2D video games have two separate versions of all their pixel art in distinct "day" and "night" palettes. Throwing a solid blue or black overlay with 50% opacity on top of everything is workable for brief night scenes, but extended use makes everything muddy and unreadable, and if your tiles contain any light sources at all it looks weird as hell. If literally half your game is taking place at night, you've gotta bite the bullet and either do separate night versions of all your tiles or implement a proper shader.
