When a true baby ghost is born— a ghost not born of dying, but rather through the desire of another ghost— they are little more than a core with wispy ectoplasm emanating from them for about a month. During said month, they take on influence from their surroundings in order to figure out the form they’ll take, hence why so many young ghosts look like their parents.

Because they aren’t fully formed until a month after their birth, the parent or parents will take on a far more aggressive, primal form in order to protect their child. The parent’s form will become incredibly monstrous, and their size will increase, with triple their normal size being most common among parents. Their mental state also becomes incredibly instinctual, higher intelligence temporarily being replaced by aggression towards anyone the ghost doesn’t consider family. They stay in this state until the baby is fully formed.

Of course, Danny “don’t worry about it” Phantom forgets to add this bit of trivia to his explanation to his fellow heroes as to why he was taking paternity leave. In his defense, he didn’t expect them to visit during that month.

And he definitely didn’t expect his brooding brain to latch onto most everyone who visited as “part of his brood.”

The twin is a ghost/Kryptonian town. The town has a bunch of questionable traditions. Superman mentions this to his ai and the ai says the traditions are Kryptonian. When people see Superman in this little town with no significance whatsoever(uh..excuse you!Amity is the eldest between Gotham and Metropolis.Between the triplet cities,Amity is the one who always helped them get back to their feet disaster after disaster. I did come up with a idea for another fic in my ghost!jimmy au thing, possession is a form of magic even when ghost do it, so Jimmy probably has a faint blue aura around his body that Scott can see.

In my au Jimmy is a cursed ghost that's forced to roam the world forever. Eventually after the destruction of the town he haunted and protected the souls of, he decided to possess a doll to rebuild the town.

The fic is Scott flirting with and asking Jimmy about his magic aura, and Jimmy trying to slide his way out of telling Scott he's a ghost. Mostly because he likes Scott and is scared telling him he's a ghost will make him not like him anymore.

Another Lore note, Possession can 'fix' aspects of what they're possessing, if you possess a humanoid doll you can make it look alive, that's why he insists he isn't a toy because no one should be able to see through his illusion. Other than Joel who's kinda confused why no one else can tell he's a doll.

Once upon a time, there was a very special porcelain doll named Alan. He had the head of an owl but the body of a man.

One day, he was created by a very special dollmaker. A dollmaker said to be believed he could turn fiction into reality: give all his dolls a real soul and breathe live into them as sentient beings.

At one point, Balder had taken Alan in his arms. He muttered to him that it was silly, but having the doll in his arms made him sleep better. Alan never slept. He simply couldn’t. So he listened to Balder’s raspy breathing, hoping it would improve throughout the night. Sometimes, depending on the position, he could feel the man’s unsteady heartbeat and then Alan’s own porcelain heart suddenly ached for him. Never before had he felt more connected to a human like this. He wished he could do more for Balder, take away his pain and sickness but he couldn’t.

The little girl wrapped her arms around Alan’s body and she excitedly shook him. Alan hadn’t anticipated how strong a little girl could be. But he actually liked the intensity

“I see a dying town and park,” whispered Jaakko. “But they are my home. My brother and I try to keep Watery alive. For my kids, for Logan, for us.”
