  –– It had happened three days ago, in the morning right before school. Theo had woken up from yet another nightmare, it wasn’t even strange to have them now. Though when he had sat up and seen his pillow, his body temperature had fallen so low that you’d think he’d been sleeping in an ice box.

   There was a tiny silvery spot on it, and Theo had kicked himself out of his car in panic, getting close to the mirror on the side but hadn’t seen anything out of the ordinary.

   Thinking, perhaps it was just his imagination or that he hadn’t fully woken up from the nightmare yet, he tried to forget about it and move on with the day.

   It happened again, though... the same day, at school in the bathroom. He’d washed his hands and just glanced up at his reflection in the mirror and seen his eyes, just for a second, shift in silver. First he had thrown himself back against the wall behind him and then leaned forward against the mirror to see if it’d happen again but there was nothing.

   He’d started feeling extremely cold, though his skin was still feeling warm. He found himself not able to run as far as he usually did in the evenings and had been knocked out right after returning to his car.

   Now three days later, Theo was sitting in the school’s library on the second floor, leaning against the railing since he was feeling tired. He kept his hands tucked in the sleeves of his hoodie and only let the fingers out when he had to turn a page in his book.

i feel like i should clarify something.

ya, i said i hate theo. and i do. i hate him for what he did to my ship, to the storyline, and to the show. so pretty much it comes down to ‘i hate the writers for doing this’. and i’m not sure that’s the same thing as hating the character. definitely not the same as hating people people who like him. to each their own. if theo is written in a non-canon way, or in an au where he didn’t do the things he did on the show, i don’t have an issue with him. i could even accept his redemption if it was handled properly (it def won’t be on the show). i don’t have issues with any other villain on the show (except peter, but without him we wouldn’t have a show so...), but theo just fucking murdered my heart. i was literally depressed for weeks just because of it. what he did ruined a lot of things, not just for the characters in the show but for the fans and their relationships with each other. what happened ruined the way people see scott and stiles, individually and together, it ruined their relationship and in turn destroyed a lot of people’s faith in the show. when a foundation crumbles, shit gets buried in the rubble. this time all that’s left is bitter anger to numb the hopelessness of the fact that we can never have what we once counted on. the ONE thing that ran through all the seasons and all the cast comings and goings and all the perfect and lost relationships this one is the one that mattered. and no matter what we do it will never be the same.

so.....yeah. it hurts just to even think about it. sorry.
