It’s a brilliant day here. Doing a little porch sitting and life planning….

The veggies came - I haven’t ordered in a while and it was a fun thing to get this morning.

Found a martial arts studio here, that picks your kids up for an after school program. They pick them up, do a class, feed them a snack and then help with homework until you get them…. I reached out to see if we could do that once/twice a week this coming school year. Jamis has expressed an interest, and I told him that if he focuses more on his reading - which is a chore for him, even though he does well with little prompting - and can read a book to completion at the end of summer, this would be his reward.

Also planning on an adjoining treehouse from the play sett to a nearby tree as his birthday present -

There’s a branch up in the next tree, and I think it would be fun to have a rope bridge, from a treehouse to the swing set. I want to do it while he will still enjoy it, and I love all things that get the kids outside and active.

I’ve found I’m dealing some better with all the things, back on my holy basil and drinking dandelion root tea in the evenings. It’s the adaptogen I fell back on so heavily last year when mom was so sick and the tea is a clean detox that’s great for your blood, liver, et al. Also eating with nutrition in mind more, the combo has started to kick in and make a difference. It’s so hard not to fall back on lazy habits, I guess if you keep getting back up that’s the real deal.
