Remember when Kacchan complained about Izuku obviously skulking around with All Might and how they need to be less conspicuous about their connection with each other? When you think about it, no one cared that much what the heck Izuku was up to… except for Kacchan himself. And in hindsight, that interaction is just so freaking cute. Just because this guy is always hyper aware of Izuku and the people surrounding him and absolutely concerned with his business, he thinks others will be too.

Take Season 2 for example at the sport festival… How did he even come to eavesdrop on Todoroki in the first place? By following and being invested in what Izuku was doing with him because Kacchan got so jealous about Todoroki declaring war on his shitnerd 😩 he couldn’t stand the idea of them going off alone somewhere together.

Stop the cap. You were there because you followed Izuku, Katsuki. 

Kacchan’s always overly concerned about Izuku and on top of that, he was jealous of Shouto taking his rival nerd from him. So when he got curious seeing them go off somewhere alone, he followed them and eavesdropped.

And another time he eavesdropped on Izuku in Heroes Rising.

He’s so focused on whatever Izuku’s doing or saying, he tunnel visions like hell. Here he forgot about his icey and it melted off the stick. 

Not only does he always give Izuku his undivided attention, he definitely wants it returned.

Izuku’s always looked at his back, right? Whether that was walking behind him in the woods, or being seated behind him in class... I think at some point Katsuki came to crave his gaze on him and secretly loved his praise too and that feeling was exposed in the joint training arc with his “Keep your eyes on me, Deku” 😂

No one at first believed or understood just HOW those two got together.

I mean, THE Vil Schoenheit, a famous model and actor, with a huge fan base and with products stamped by his face dating Idia? The nerd otaku dude who doesn't leave his room, like, ever?

Some were even concerned if Vil was under some form of course or potion effect, which he responded by an offended gasp.

"Do you think so lowly of me that I would ever fall for a curse like that? Dear Seven, you really underestimate me and Idia, don't you?"

The way they got together is... A rather uncommon one. Idia found Vil doing an advertisement for a game he really liked, and he got a tiny celebrity crush.

Ortho insisted Idia shoot his shot, because the chances of a parasocial relationship becoming unhealthy to someone are higher when there are no sort of communication between parties.

Idia went through the toughest boss fight in his life, which was pressing the send button. That felt like such a normie problem, he almost gave up... Until Ortho pressed for him. Great. This action will affect the main game forever.

Vil was... Low key endeared by the message. It was bold and talked in a lingo he isn't used to seeing. He felt generous enough to give some time to this gloomy samurai person.

They didn't even realized they were so close together until Ortho went thanking Vil for making his big brother so happy.

Cue to Idia's door being kicked open and Idia cowering in his chair almost crying in fear as Vil scolded him about not going to talk to him directly.

They became an odd pair after that. Vil makes sure Idia gets his needs taken, including touching some grass (much to his dismay).

And Idia teaches Vil about technology methods to make his career better. (He doesn't mention about the Vil x reader fanfic tab on his tablet though)

Vil found it obvious how Idia was head over heels for him, but he felt oddly calm about this. It didn't feel like other people crushing on him, where he needed to step on eggshells to maintain this pristine image.

Idia seemed to find him "having max charisma and appearance stats" even when he was a total mess, in his eyes.

It was a new thing for him, letting himself show his "uglier" side to someone, and not being the perfect Vil Schoenheit. And Idia seemed to not care in the slightest, although he did get flustered a lot whenever Vil shared a picture with his hair down. Vil learned from Idia's ling that that was "simp behaviour".

Idia... He never had so much attention from someone so different in his life. And for once, it didn't scare him. Actually, when Vil complimented him for showing up to class, he felt oddly proud and confident.

Ofc Vil was the one to confess first. I mean, Idia was going through the 19th mental breakdown over how to confess at that point, and Ortho was NOT a reliable source of advice on the matter.

Ortho is their biggest supporter, and says that Vil needs to take good care of his big brother, since he is very fragile and also very scared.

Rook was actually very supportive of Vil's choice. He is the biggest Vil fan, but he puts his dear Roi du poison's happiness over his. And to be fair... Their dynamic is enticing. It's unique. A beautiful form of art on itself!

Others were very much confused but grew used to it.

An odd pair, sure, but who said love couldn't be odd?

Their favorite pastime together is casual dates at Idia's room. Where Idia geeks about how this super rare character he summoned had such OP skills that his team two shot the boss, all awhile Vil paints his nails so they have matching colours.

Don't ask Idia why he is showing up to class so much, or he will run away and hide in his room. He is trying! He even wore his uniform 2 times this week!!

They are so silly, I think I got carried away lol. Hope you enjoy this!!

One debate going around on TWST Tumblr is about the OB boys and how the narrative handles them. On one side, we have someone saying that the OB boys' actions towards Yuu are shitty, horrible and traumatizing, so that the game should take time out to have Yuu lash out at them and have the boys "compensate Yuu for their actions". Some people agreed with that OP. One person in the replies of that post even went as far as to say that they quit playing the game based on that fact. On the other side, we have a person replying to that take basically rebutting that statement. They believe that the game shouldn't condemn them for their actions, and that we aren't meant to read their actions as scaring. Another portion of the fandom agreed with them. (No, I'm not tagging anyone for obvious reasons.) Personally, I'm somewhere in the middle between those extremes.

On one hand, we all came into this game knowing that they are based on Disney Villains, right? So, what the hell do some people expect? The NRC boys to be lovable Disney heroes with a heart of gold? Of course, they are gonna be morally grey anime pretty boys, who do some questionable actions. That's the whole fucking point of the game. xD

I also agree with that second OP that expecting "compensation" from people who were dicks towards you is not how life works. Sometimes people are just dicks towards you and you have to move on. Hell, I think characters like Vil compensated Yuu to a realistic amount where they acknowledged their actions, apologized and tried to make it up to them. I don't know what else some people want here.

On the other hand, I think this is one example of a HUGE flaw with the writing —the static characters and them having zero consequences for their actions, including their fucked up ones. Something I noticed in the game for awhile now is that most of the time, it completely brushes off the boys' actions and they get only a slap on the wrist. It's not just in cases of OBs either, it's in general. Almost Thanos Snap your friend? He instantly forgives you. Almost suck out the magic out of people and want to do it to the world? Nothing happens other than "forcing you to live with your guilt". Almost turn people into living puppets? You are allowed to get away scott free without anyone being the least bit mad about being almost subjected to a fate worse than death. You see what I mean? It's fucking laughable and unrealistic. Actions always have consequences, and so should theirs', whether they are based on villains or not. To be blunt, it's shitty writing. Plain and simple. Unless you are writing a flat arc, characters need to change and develop. It can be for the better or worse. But there has to be...something. Otherwise what the fuck is the point of having a story?

You can have both. You can write morally grey teen/young adult characters in a coming of age story AND have them have realistic consequences for their actions and grow and change. The Crows prove that.

The Crows from Six of Crows parallel the NRC students in a lot of ways. They are both in the same age range. (Even though, I think aging them up to be in their 20s and early 30s in the show was a smart move, since you can buy a guy in his late 20s being a powerful gang lord over a teenager. I think that's part of the reason why aging up the NRC boys to be 20-somethings in university is so popular in this fandom. It's much easier to buy Azul as a 20-something owning the lounge, for example. But that's besides the point.) Both have morals and care about a select few while being rather questionable. Both have done some VERY fucked up actions. For example, Kaz pulls out a guy's eyeball at one point. One key difference is that the Crows are more dynamic as characters and have actual consequences for their actions.

For example, Kaz is a hardened criminal who only shows his softer side to a select few. However, at the end of Crooked Kingdom, Inej, the woman he endlessly simps after and cares about a lot, says that she needs time away from him, joining a crew to find her lost family. The reason why he did this? Because he was emotionally constipated and needed to work on his issues more before getting into a relationship with her. That is a very real consequence for his actions and how he treated others. Hell, the way I interpreted that bit is that whenever she came back, she would be more ready to be in a relationship with him. (We would've gotten that in a SOC series. Thanks a lot, Netflixs!) There are plenty of other examples like that in the series. The group doesn't instantly let in Mattias into the fold thanks to him hunting down other Grisha before, tension forms between Jesper and Wylan thanks to the love triangle between them and Kuwei, etc.

The game could've done something like that. Have them still be morally grey people, but have fallout for some of their actions and have to earn their redemption. Do more things like what happened to Vil in Book 6...but have it actually make sense and not a stupid deus ex machina to make Malleus look like a Gary Stu. (God, the whole "Vil turning into an old man thing was fucking stupid.)

Plus, these guys are based on VILLAINS, so you'd think that characters like Ruggie would be more angry and want revenge. The fact that they quickly forgive and forget makes no sense in that regard as well. Hell, I'm still surprised that Ace, Leona and Vil never got mad at Honest Fellow or called him out in the new event. I thought they would try to kill him for what he did given the fact that they are based on villains. That's what the Crows would've done.

While, yes, I think part of this is due to the game's design as a gatcha. Plus, they want to make the boys as appealing to the player as possible in order to entice them pay more, so that includes not focusing on some of their deeds. However, I also think part of this is due to Yana herself.

During the 2020 guidebook interview, Yana said that she honestly believes that the boys' only appeal is that they are "bad" and they should always remain that way. So part of the reason why the game doesn't focus on that is because calling them out and having them change would go against her own mentality as a writer, because "character development=bad" to her, which hampers the story on all levels. That's why I think the light novel was able to dive into this aspect—Yana's not behind it, somebody else is. So, yes. Yana shares a chunk of the blame as well as the head writer, and is yet another example of her being a terrible one.

Another problem is that Yuu's lack of presence and blase attitude towards everything. The aren't phased by anything that happens to them in the narrative. It's not just the OBs either, but in general. On the first night, they have a GOOD night sleep despite being thrown into another world. When their home is destroyed in Book 6, they simply don't care. Like...what? Who acts like that? They have no impact on the events and mostly act as an observer, being more like the Crew in The Office than a fucking character. Hell, my toothbrush has more of a presence then Yuu! Again, it's shitty writing.

So, yeah. I think the side wanting these guys to be paragons of virtue or to make them repay Yuu for their actions is asinine. But at the same time, I think that Yuu's unrealistic responses to things, the character stagnation and them not having any real consequences to their actions is holding the story back. While I don't think the characters should beg for forgiveness from Yuu or go to rehab or something stupid like that, I think they should have some setbacks as a result of their actions that they have to work overcoming instead of moving on to the next boy. This should be a coming of age story, so that's a basic requirement that Yana is intentionally not meeting thanks to her own stupid mentality.

After the court incident, The Blonde spent more time with the siblings after forgiving them for their betrayal. Over the weeks, they began to warm up to them. In their free time while they weren't traveling, they would help Lyney with his shows, occasionally learning tricks from the Twins.

Lyney and Lumine would spend time with each other as he would give them small tours of places that him and his siblings used to visit. Over time, he began to learn more about her, in return she learned more about him.

"Hey Traveler, there you are." The wind swept sweetly over his hair as he came to a stop on the Beryl Region's mountains. The Traveler was said to be gathering items for someone, and the rumor was confirmed by the bouquet of flowers.

"Hey Lyney what can we help you with?" Paimon waved at him as she flew closer to him, clutching some rainbow roses.

"I was looking for Traveler, I had something to tell them." Traveler dropped the flower bag and moved closer to hear him better.

The sunlight reflected off their hair, diverting Lyney's attention away from her. Blonde hair as dazzling as the sun, entrancing Topaz eyes, he was enthralled until they cleared their throat, which drew his attention.

"Ah. I'd want to invite you to a special performance tonight." Taking off his hat, he reveals two tickets that fell off his head. Paimon catches them when they return to Traveler.

"What's the special occasion?"

He flushes as he wrings his hands together. "Well, there's a special VIP trick after wards." They gaze at him, puzzled, and shake their heads.

"I see no harm in it." Traveler shakes their head as Paimon agrees. As Lyney grins, light fills their space.

"I'll see you then!" He descends the mountain to the boat he took.

Hours later, he sat in his dressing room, softly singing love tunes. As he dressed, he danced around his dressing room with a huge grin on his face. Unknown to him, Lynette and Freminet peered inside the room.

Tonight is the night he'll tell them how he really feels.

"Play close attention blink and you might miss it."

Simple tricks dazzled the audience as Lyney and his sister entertained them. Act after Act was met with acclaim from the crowd.

The time comes for his special trick, he's been waiting to release.

"Can I have a volunteer?"

The spotlight shifts before landing on the Traveler. They take a look around before standing and walking up to the stage. He leads them to the stage's the center. "Hello, Traveler. Please select a card." She looks at him, puzzled, before taking one. She holds it while he reshuffles the deck for her.

"Can I have it back?" She returns the card to him as he reshuffles it before holding out a card.

"Was it this one?" He asks again, and she shakes her head before handing her an exclusive card. Before accepting the card, she shakes her head cautiously. He snaps his fingers, and a bunch of rainbow roses and a card materialize in her hands. She looks surprised as the audience applauds and gasps in surprise.

"Thank you, Lyney."

As she walks off stage, she reads the card. As the performance comes to a close, Lynette and Lyney take their bows.

"This has been Lyney & Lynette's magic show." They take a bow and exit the stage.

Lyney dashed inside his changing room, slamming the door behind him. As he performed a short dance, he was overcome with euphoria. They must have been surprised by the look on their faces! He buries his face in his hands, attempting to quiet his thoughts. As the door to his dressing room opened, his love sick thoughts engulfed him. "Lyney, she's waiting on you." Lynette stood near the door, removing her work clothes.

"Oh, I nearly forgot. "Are you and Frem going home?" She nodded and pushed her hand behind her shoulder. "I hope it goes well." Before leaving, she pats him on the shoulder.

"Traveler!" He dashes up to the meeting location he specified in his note. There was no one on the bench.

As he tried to settle down his nerves, he was struck with disappointment. He waited on the bench, possibly waiting for them to arrive late.

As he sat in silence waiting for her, the wind filled his ears. After a few minutes, he was approached by footsteps. When he looks up, he notices the Traveler arriving with an Albino haired male with red streaks in his hair.

"Lyney!" She grinned as they came to a halt in front of him, clutching the Albino's hand.

His heart skipped a beat, and his vision blurred as he focused on the male next to her. He looked back at the blonde with a courteous smile on his face.

He should've known, of course he wouldn't be the only person after their heart.

(GFL) WA2000, RPK-16, AN-94, M4A1, and M16A1 with a frontline Commander

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAH TIME TO SIMP FOR THE GUNS

(WA2000) "You idiot, what are you doing here?! Do you want to die that badly?!"

Having the Commander fight alongside their Echelons is terribly distracting. It's already enough they have to worry about their own heads in a firefight, but now they have their CO on their mind.

WA supposes she should be grateful that they can surprisingly hold their own, on top of still being able to give orders to everyone.

She was already a deadly sniper, but having the Commander on the field focuses her aim tenfold, knowing she has to protect them.

After the battle, she plays it off as if she didn't care the Commander was there.

(WA2000) "Whatever, just make sure you don't get killed, moron. We can't have dead commander give us orders."

On the inside, she breathes such a huge sigh of relief, knowing the Commander is okay.

But if they're even remotely injured, they are going to get the screaming of a lifetime.

(WA2000) "You got hit?! Do you have a deathwish or something? WE are repairable, obviously that thick head of yours doesn't remember that!"

Despite her harsh words, she is always the first one to see them out of the Infirmary.

(WA2000) "D-Don't get the wrong idea, I'm just here for my debriefing. Now hurry back to your room so we can get this over with."

It doesn't take long for the Commander to notice the obvious relaxation in her shoulders as she checks their bandages, knowing they're safe.

(RPK-16) "Oh, now this is quite interesting. Welcome to the fight, Commander."

16 has to admit, she didn't think her Commander would oversee their ops personally.

Was it smart? Not really, but it was certainly an intriguing change of pace.

She doesn't change her demeanor much during the firefights, one wouldn't be blamed for thinking she wasn't even affected.

But there is only one subtle change, that being she and her team always stays in close vicinity to the Commander.

Once the op is over, she keeps her smile.

(Commander) "Thank you for directing us, sir/ma'am. Another successful mission, as expected."

She asks them why they feel the need of wanting to join the T-Dolls during their missions, but there's certainly no complaints.

Having their CO in the field made things all the more exciting. They certainly weren't like all their other humans, that's for sure.

If they were injured during the mission, 16 makes a note to visit them.

(RPK-16) "It's too bad that you can't repair yourself as easily as we can. Oh well, I guess I have to be with you as you recover~."

She doesn't mind being inside the room with them. Not that they have the option of asking her away, anyways.

(AN-94) "You're joining us, Commander? ...Acknowledged."

94 is horribly confused. Why on earth is their CO coming along with them? This was incredibly dangerous.

Though, AK-12 gives her the order to protect the Commander, which she happily obliges.

During missions, she goes back and forth from protecting AK-12 and her Commander, not even hesitating to take a bullet for either.

She does her best to ensure nothing even comes close to the Commander, and appreciates the extra backup. Besides, having the Commander there on the field boosted morale.

(AN-94) "Commander, objectives have been met, and the area is clear. What's our next orders?"

Her face doesn't change expression, but there is a noticeable shift in her shoulders slumping when she sees the Commander safe.

But 94 feels great shame when the Commander does manage to get hurt, feeling personally responsible.

After being ensured that she was not at fault, 94 patiently awaits their recovery from the Infirmary.

(AN-94) "Welcome back. Do you require any assistance? I'd be glad to help."

She's super glued to their side for the next few days after.

(M4A1) "C-Commander?! Why are you here, this area still isn't secure!"

M4 is thrown off when she sees the Commander fighting alongside her.

It's greatly appreciated, but it's the Commander's job to direct, not get down and dirty themselves.

She fights her instinct to worry and instead, makes extra sure that nothing in the battlefield can even zero in on them.

M4 orders the AR Team to focus on their objective, although she can't help but orbit around the Commander.

She's so glad to see them still standing, a soft smile appearing on her face.

(M4A1) "Area secure, sir/ma'am. Thank you for the assistance."

She gets visibly distressed whenever she sees or hears the Commander getting injured during the fight.

Her first thought is that it was her fault, but after a while she has grown accustomed to seeing them a little beaten after each mission.

She's not sure if that's a good thing or not.

(M4A1) "With all due respect, you should hang back. We are able to sustain worse injuries than a human. If you were to perish, I'm not sure what we'd do."

Even when they leave the infirmary, M4 is always worrying about her Commander.

(M16A1) "Alright! Now this is what I'm talking about, let's kick some ass, Commander!"

M1 is a bit headstrong, but seeing how her Commander is just as reckless as she is, it sends her morale sky high.

The Commander says jump, M1 asks how high.

She's having a quite a significant amount more fun on the field with them, being able to synergize well with the Commander's fighting.

(M16A1) "Good job, couldn't have done better myself! Now, let's go for a drink! You're paying, right?"

M1 isn't surprised to see the Commander injured after a battle, they fight like her after all.

She visits the infimary, Jack Daniel's in hand as if to tease.

(M16A1) "Too bad you can't drink this with me. Your medicine would get all mixed up and you would drop dead. I, however, don't have such weaknesses! Now, let's get to waiting."

She pats them on the head with her free hand, laughing at their reaction.

On the inside though, she is thankful nothing worse happened to them. She confides in M4 about the relief she feels after every successful operation that her sisters and Commander are safe and sound.

- Cora has black swan wings and Doffy has flamingo wings (the only time I'll ever include this dude in my AUs. I avoid this mf cuz I'm starting to like him 😭). Idk what to give Law lmao–

- Cora's wings are huge. Like, 260cm/8'6ft. They're also waterproof, he uses them to cover the people from the rain.

- Law's wings are sensitive, so he doesn't like people touching them unless he gives them permission and consent to do so. Cora is an exception tho, Law even reaches out himself so Cora would touch them (No, Bepo isn't jealous. Of course he isn't.. whaaaat. He's totally okay with sharing his pseudo blanket with Cora..!!! That's a lie. Bepo is sulking in the corner while listening to Uta's songs).

- When it's Cora's time to moult in the summer, Law usually takes him flying when he wants/needs to. It's Law's favourite part of every summer, he gets to have Cora in his arms as he takes them flying. Law also helps toss out the old feathers, but some of them are gonna be used and turn into coats for the both of them.

- As you mentioned, feather accessories! I love those omg, thank you for suggesting them!! Cora has a single earring with Law's feather dangling from it. Law has a feather of Cora's attached to Kikoku and another as an earring.

- Law's wings are warmer than Cora's (that's the real reason why Bepo likes sleeping next to Law, trust me /j), so Cora likes to be the little spoon most of the time, just so he could feel Law's warm wings engulf him (they rarely spoon each other, they look like the type to sleep with their backs flat on the mattress). Law's wings are 210cm/6'10 ft, taller than himself when tucked in (Yes I did use the height comparison website on Google lmao).

(...Nah I'm not gonna give their wings width measurements, I'm too lazy for that and it's 5am)

- And because Cora's wings are huge, it makes him hard to stay balanced and upright. Falling means he starts panicking, panicking means his wings starts flailing, his wings flailing means knocking off whatever it is near him and slapping people in the face lol. He tries to tuck them in as close as possible.

Or Cora has to fly them somewhere for the first time while running from Marines/some group that's not worth staying and fighting. And Law is just!!! awed!! at the sight of them!!! I know clumsiness is part of Cora's charm, but based on that mission where he stole the op-op fruit, we know he can be really coordinated and stealthy when needed. So, like, when he finally makes full use of his wings, maybe he's one of the fastest/swiftest flyers Law has seen.

Yeah, I don't like Uta. I didn't like her before and I don't like now after watching the movie and look, I love her construction towrds the lack of mental health, I can relate to that and she would be a great villian if the narrative didn't try to put her in a victim spot when she is the one doing a genocide. Even more since she knew the whole time that Shanks didn't actually abandon her in the way she used to think.

So she knew the truth the whole time and still continue to her hate for the pirates and well, I guess she got influenced by the people around the world, so I can ignore that.

But what is this narrative telling me that I should care for a crazy genocide, people in OP can do mistakes, huge mistakes, hell my second favorite character is Ace, but still, killing vulnerable people for something that she knew it wasn't true seems too much for me.

She is crazy af, her poor mental health doesn't justify her actions and her df is cool and everything, her voice is great and I liked her whole construction, the problem came with the whole narrative trying to make her a poor lil meow when she is not.

Like, we have amazing examples on how humanize villians in OP itself without trying to justify them, like Katakuri or Doflamingo where the light of the narrative obviously made you realize they are not good people.

But with Uta they tried so hard to justify her actions, hell, aside of the whole killing innocent people thing, I was rooting for the marines to kill her and you know something is wrong when you support the marines.

Aside of everything, I really like the movie, the action was great, I was simping over Shanks again, the music was great and it was funny in general.

Happy Ending Romance Eps 5 & 6 Stray Thoughts

This is probably the most peculiar show we have right now. I'm not really sure I like any of the characters, but I'm keen on seeing more experimentation with BL. We left with Jung Woo furious about being used by two people he trusted the most. Now he's going to stay with Tae Young, who has just the most massive crush on him.

Episode 5

Tae Young slept on a couch, but woke up with a huge smile because his crush is on his bed.

This man just darted back to the couch to avoid looking like a simp. Clown behavior.

Jung Hyun is so pissed at not being in control.

I keep forgetting what this former classmate's name is, but I love her and her disdain for Jung Hyun.

I'm so relieved to see Cha Jung Woo coming out of himself and asserting what he wants for himself.
