Did eventually the holderrs eventually can spam their powers like shadybug and claw noir?
Thinking about, pretty much a lot of the powers can be spammed. A Horse can make numerous portals, Mouse numerous clones, Fox numerous illusions, Peafowl can rewind time endless though one at a time (same for resetting time), Mantis doesn't have limits on how many times it can use telekinesis, nor does Bee have a limit on it's plant manipulation.
For the timer, I'd say that for these powers that can be used with no limits, you do have that five minutes to use them initially, and eventually can use them with no timer to limit you in that use. So you can start making as many portals as you for five minutes, and gradually, the longer you use Horse, the timer will cease to be and there's no limits in your teleportation.
But there are a few that are a once per transformation and can't be spammed, no matter how bonded you get to a Miraculous. And a lot of this pops up with the upper tiers. The Zodiac are the only tier that don't have the once per transformation limit. A benefit to being the lowest tier.
Lionheart is a once per transformation use and you must recharge Valrr to use it again, as this essentially allows you to be any superhero you want to be, a Butterfly that can skip out on relying on another. And knowing how OP the powers Butterfly offers,
Withdraw is a once per transformation as it takes a lot of energy to travel to a whole other dimension, even if it's a pocket one that is smaller than where the wearer lives.
Hive Mind is as it can be potentially dangerous and ruthless in use (especially the potential of forcing wills onto another), so once the connected minds are severed, this power cannot be used again until Pollen is recharged.
Second Wind is Songbird's once per use as the ability to reset Miraculous without even detransforming and recharging the kwami can be OP and overwhelming, so that's a one time use.
Wandeer is Deer's as it takes a lot of power to travel to essentially a mirrored reality, a whole other plane of existence, like the Upside Down in Stranger Things, but nicer. And empty. And has a cool silver-blue filter over everything. Once you wander out, you'll have to recharge Sillva to go back.
Mind's Eye is Mantis as it mentally connects the user to the cosmos, allowing them access to various knowledge and answers, which can be overwhelming and addicting, so that has a limited use on it.
Celestial Body is Bear's, it's effective and diverse, but it is using your own spiritual energy to form and be of use, and for precautions for the human, that's why it has a limit.
Liberate is Eagle's a lot of the same reasons for Second Wind, it can be pretty OP in the restrictions it can remove, so a good limit is the once per transformation use.
Meta is Butterfly's, with a similar reasoning for Lion's limit, this is a very OP power so makes sense to have it limited to used once per transformation.
Miracle Worker is Ladybug's, I did think of Lucky Charm to work off canon, but honestly, making an animated golem/puppet/doll that will perform one task, and can be very emotionally and mentally complex, that's a powerful ability, much more so than generating a luck related item. It'd be one creation per transformation. And I will add, it is technically possible to have multiple Workers by not dismissing the initial Worker, retransform, and make a new one, but when you detransform, those Workers are going to take energy off the wearer to continue to exist, make 3 or more, the user will probably be sleeping most of the day and Tikki may go out of her way to dismiss them herself.
Foxtrot is Fox's as you can only one partner per dance, and if there's someone you want to absolutely evade but already picked a partner, you're going to have to retransform with a recharged Trixx to reset it.
Nine Lives is Cat's largely due to the necromancy aspect, and you got the shades of previous users to assist you. It was not a fond thought to have the ability to do this endlessly.
Fantom is Peafowl's, as fully pausing time and able to move freely through is arguably Peafowl's most OP time power. So makes sense for that to be limited to once per transformation in use.

AUTISTICLY INFODUMPING ABOUT CROCODILES AND THE PICK 2 MEME
Absolutely livid at how underestimated crocodiles are in that pick two meme. You absolute fucking dumbshits think 10,000 rats, literally a species that survives mostly by excessive breeding and typically serves the purpose of being food for predators higher in the food chain, are going to suddenly become ravenous bloodthirsty tyrants and skin their prey alive with their shitty little front teeth that usually leave a little scratch, can defeat 10 crocodiles, an undefeated, armored apex predator species of 80 fucking million years. You would probably have more luck sending 100 horses to fight them you absolute fucking fridge temperature IQ brainlets.
Crocodiles are intelligent, tactical and cooperative hunters just as much as the lions and wolves on the list of options. They have extremely high aggression so they're perfect for a combat situation unlike the 10,000 rats or even the grizzly bears that people seem to fall for. Depending on when theyve had their breeding season, you may get the pick of the strongest dominant males, the survivors of the culling of breeding competitors. Around the breeding season of Crocs, male crocs tend to go absolutely fucking beast mode and achieve some really insane hunts. They're far less likely to retreat but they still properly evaluate their prey. They typically only retreat when theyve run out of stamina.
They're generally speedy on land but only for short distances, this is ofc because their hunting style is more stealth and surprise oriented - the speed is used for the final lunge. That being said, if this is some kind of battle royale then inevitably a crocodiles opponent will have to attack, it doesnt need to run at all, it can just wait stealthily like it normally does. Obviously if the battle is taking place near or on a body of water then all other opponents are done for. They can swim at about 20kmh effortlessly and for very long periods of time. The crocodiles preferred technique is maiming their prey and drowning them while ripping them apart all in one swift movement so obviously a body of water adds a massive advantage. Theres no out-swimming a crocodile and theres a very low chance of survival for pretty much every mammal.
On the topic of speed, despite their bulky appearance, they're extremely agile in close combat. Often once their opponent is close, their battle ends quick in the crocodiles favor because they can use the weight of their tails to whip their heads behind them should a predator attack from behind.
Also, saltwater crocodiles grow up to like 2,200 lbs. While this takes a toll on their stamina on land, it massively contributes to their superior ability to wrestle their prey. By catching their prey in their jaws and throwing their weight around, they rip their prey into chunks and crush its bones. They can also throw their weight around when galloping on land to help gain momentum, increasing their speed similarly to how a rabbit runs.
Crocodiles only have 24 teeth. Their only purpose is to grip prey and they do that extremely well, even if the prey is barely in their mouth. Crocodiles dont chew their food, they crush it with their jaws and rip it apart as mentioned above. I should probably also mention that THEY HAVE THE STRONGEST BITE OUT OF ANY LIVING BEING ON THE PLANET! Thats right! Stronger than a hippopotamus. That's approximately 3,700 lbs per square inch of force in just one bite, sometimes even more if it's a big saltie lad.
They have extremely strong bones structures on it's back called osteoderms on top of their dermal armor. THIS CAN MAKE THEM PARTIALLY BULLETPROOF!! Of course, whether its effective against bullets depends on the caliber of gun, the distance its shot from and where the shot lands on the croc. That being said, almost everywhere except its belly is covered in strong dermal armour. To get a clean shot, you need to have a high caliber gun, be relatively close (risky) and you can only one shot it if its exposing its belly or the side of its neck... which is not going to happen if its focused on you and not something above it. The hunter in this situation would definitely want to distract it with bait so they can sneak up close and get the shot.
The main challenges to the crocodile in this situation would be the 50 eagles. The odds are balanced out mostly in numbers here. A potential weak spot for the crocodiles here are the eyes. If the eagles were to go for the eyes, that would obviously be extremely risky given how close it is to the jaw. Not only that but Crocodiles can hold their breath underwater for an hour. Theres a chance that crocodiles could hold their own against eagle attacks for long enough before eventually landing bites on all 50 eagles. Itd be a lengthy, monumental task for only 10 of them though. With the eagles strength in numbers, one could lure the crocodile to jump up from water or land while other eagles could then attack its exposed belly. If this battle takes place on land, they could slash around the crocodiles throats. The numbers here lead more likely to an eagle victory, but a crocodile victory is not impossible.
I've seen some people claim that crocodiles are the weaker option because they're so close to the ground that you can just jump over them. This absolutely hysterical because you're jumping directly into their line of fire! Try to jump over a crocodile headed towards you and you're basically doing all of the work for them. But yeah sure dude! Why not shoot your shot :)
Tumblr media
Now I think most people have come to the reasonable conclusion that almost every animal would probably die in this situation and the winner wouldnt be clear at all. Its true that it would mostly just be a loss for everyone. Crocodiles arent exempt from that likelihood. The 10,000 rats are obviously going to have more survivors however they provide absolutely no attack or defense capabilities so they're a useless option if you're picking a team to defend you. Also crocodiles can live up to 100 years old whereas rats live up to about 4 years. Should this battle take place over many years, the crocodiles would probably just live off eating the rats after the other predator species are taken down, making it the clear winner over the rats. Theres absolutely nothing a rat can do to harm a crocodile given how strong the dermal armour of a croc is. All rats can do is run away.
As for the rest, 10 is a very generous number of crocodiles given that you're only offered 1 human, 15 wolves, 7 bulls, 5 gorillas, all significantly weaker animals that the crocodiles could wipe the floor with in the animal kingdom.
The grizzlys normally would be a challenge but because the OP of the pick 2 meme underestimated crocs, we have 10 crocs and 3 bears. A swift bite to the leg of a bear and a heavy throw to the ground for it to be attacked by another crocodile would have the bears finished in minutes. The claws of the bear, blunt or sharp would be a tickle on a crocs armor. Normally blunt bear claw can crush skulls in a single blow. This wouldnt work on a crocodile anywhere near as effectively as crocodiles have an exoskeleton and one of the sturdiest skulls in the animal kingdom. A bear bite is weak as shit compared to crocs and it would be weak against a croc as well for reasons I just stated. A bear wouldnt want to get their head too close to a croc anyway because itd give the croc an opportunity for a single-bite kill around the skull and neck. Granted the bears are faster on land but they're not particularly agile in close combat. Usually this isnt an issue in the bears habitat but in the case of a crocodile, theyll get caught by those quick jaws. These poor bastards have to fight each other anyway in this scenario so the crocodiles would conserves energy by waiting for the bears to get close. In terms of temperament, grizzlies wouldnt go near crocs unless the crocs were actively threatening them. Even then, a heavy tail whip could stun a grizzly and some degree of hesitation or even a retreat. From the perspective of some massive hungry crocs however, 3 grizzly bears might look appetizing and with the unwavering gameness of locked-jaw male crocs, the bears would be fucked.
The 4 lions would be an even bigger challenge because lions are even faster than bears. Both are apex predators of their habitats so normally, it would all come down to who's habitat they're fighting on. That being said, theres been many records of large male nile crocs confronting entire packs of lions on land and coming out on top. And once again, the OP underestimated crocodiles. We have 10 crocodiles and 4 lions. The crocs clearly clap the lions here.
Overall, the strength is determined by how many encounter each other + whether or not the animals are injured or starved + the strength and defense of each animal. That being said its fucking ASTOUNDING to me that barely anyone picks the APEX PREDATOR FOR TENS OF MILLIONS OF YEARS, COMPLETELY UNEVOLVED SINCE, PERFECTED IN THE ART OF HUNTING AND STILL LOW RISK OF EXTINCTION over 10,000 small, defenseless, lower in the food chain animals that dont attack in the way people are hypothetically strategizing and are easy food for every other animal listed.

big three kids headcanons
this is my 2nd time writing this since my computer is a bitch but i still want to bc these headcanons live in my head rent free
anyways imagine if after the war the big three kids become like royalty as their parents accept them into their familys (kinda zeus is a bitch he j gives his kids more powers) and are gifted expanded powers and a higher place in the world like they’re considered prince and princes of the air/sea/dead/earth and so they get fun crowns and animals and weapons and like a avatar state type thing where their power expands tenfold and they become even more op with the whole glowing eyes thing aang gets yk and they get like crowns they can show at will and yea
jason/thalia
- thalia doesnt get the same ranking simply because she already pulls rank as artemis’s lieutenant and so like she already has these powers
- jason now has an eagle (the eagles name is brian bc jason doesnt understand pet names lets be real)
- he also gets a weapon from his father that is almost like the master bolt if you see it out of the corner of your eye it seems like jason is holding lightning but when you look at it head on its just a sword or a spear
- because he had so much time with lupa when he goes into his god state thing he grows fangs and claws
- i am a big fan of feral jason simply because of course he would be feral
- jason seems to command more respect and has an aura of power at an even bigger degree
- when he goes into his god state his eyes glow bright blue like lightning and his voice kinda sounds like wind almost like he is becoming one with a storm
- he learns the langauge of the air and when he speaks it ,it sounds like the wind
- he has greater control of wind spirits and they defer to him because he is a prince after all
- he doesnt show his crown that much but when he does its always to protect his loved ones and he wont hesitate to pull rank if he thinks it will help him
- his crown is gold and looks like a circlet of lightning when he shows it he seems to become more princely
- again jason is feral and all romans seem to be a little bit feral because of their trials with lupa but he’s that to the extreme
hazel and nico
- they represent their dads respective spheres of power
- nico gains an even greater control of the dead and shadow travel
- he also has hellfire black flames that seem almost cold
- he gets a scepter to better control the dead also and his animal is a screech owl named  elmo bc he’s dumb
- his crown is made of stygian iron it seems to radiate darkness
- when he goes his god state his eyes glow silver and when he speaks it sounds like the earth shifting and his form becomes blurry as he is becoming more connect to the earth and the dead
- both he and hazel learn the language of the dead and while hazel cant really summon the dead she can speak to them
- hazel gains a greater control of the mist and is kinda scarily poweful
- none of them 7 are scared of her and they treat her like a little sister
- she gains a greater control of metal and can even manipulate her enemies weapons and she can manipulate earth almost like an earthbender
- she gets a serpent and names the serpent lucifer bc she’s an edgy 13 year old
- she gets a sword she can manipulate at will (even easier the other metals) and it changes shape as she fights
- her crown is made of opal and seems to shift if you look to closely
- her god state makes her eyes glow gold (he eyes are normally brown cuz fuck u rick) and her voice sounds becomes more ethereal and sounds like rocks scraping like she is becoming the earth and the mist
- she gains a room in plutos palace like nico
- both of them don’t hesitate to pull rank as royalty if necessary
percy
- as the only known child of poseidon and also his dad’s favorite so he gets even more special treatment then hazel and nico
- he learns to use a trident and is just as much a natural at that as he is with a sword it helps him form hurricanes and cause even bigger earthquakes
- he now can cause earthquakes at will
- percy already has a bunch of pets but his dad gifts him two more a shark named taco (bc percy has a dumb sense of humor) and a bull named oreo ( he really likes food ok)
- he learns the laungauge of the sea and can easier communicate with naiads, nymphs, nereids, other royalty, and even oceanus who only speaks the langauge of the sea
- he can transform into a merman :)
- he can use siren songs much like pipers charmspeak and his voice is  ethereal and kinda scary when he sings but beautiful
- his power over water increases even more so like homie is super powerful
- he gets a room in his dads palace and even starts to get along with triton and  amphitrite
- his crown is silver and is shaped like waves it
- while in his god state his eyes glow a deep green and his voice sounds like waves crashing onto shore
- his powers are crazy man
- he really hesitates to pull rank but will if absolutely necessary
all the new campers are really intimidated by the big three kids in both camps but the seven and old campers literally don’t care they’ll be grumpy and instead of being intimidated one of the seven will be like go take a nap homie and its kinda funny
if anyone wants to write an actual story about this pls send it to me im a sucker for stupidly powerful characters

I like the idea of DPS acting like a dragon parent and ending up being way better than most human parents. Like sure he HAS unintentionally launched his kids, but he’s also very judgement free. His main goal in parenting is to prepare his kids to survive without him one day, so I feel like his teaching is mostly demonstrations and answering questions but for the most part has them figure it out themselves
DPS's problem is that he sorts his priorities very strangely
Like, he doesn't care who you love or how you identify, but not liking fresh caught salmon from the river? I HAVE NO SON
Children fight and sometimes hurt each other! That's natural and normal. Patch up the cuts and give them time to cool off. But neglecting to tidy your hoard? UNACCEPTABLE
Listen, I don't care if the eagle tried to claw your eyes out and stole your toys, she is your elder and you will respect her
Once you figure out his rules everything is A Okay, it's just figuring out the rules that's he hard part
Tack onto this that every now and then OPS shows up again and his rules are totally different, and you have a very confused family

Op. Eagle Claw - Review
Op.
HEADS UP!

TOTAL: 73.3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
OVERALL: 80/100

opinion on hogwarts houses
ravenclaw: EASILY the best house and woefully maligned in the books. catch me and my nerd eagle brethren skipping out on quidditch to summon ghosts and discover ancient spells in forgotten passages and raid the forbidden section of the library. also has the best colours and crest tbh.
hufflepuff: looks like a cinnamon role, is actually a sinnamon role.
slytherin: also unfairly maligned in the books - i refuse to believe they’re all evil. if i wasn’t a claw i’d be slytherin (ambition). also just give off a hot vibe tbh.
gryffindor: my sister is a gryffindor. not as great as they think unless they’re neville longbottom in which case they’re greater. gryffindorks.
ops on?

Are Humans OP?
And now for a gamer’s perspective on the species / playable race: human being.
*Caveat on the claim that there aren’t any bird builds powerful enough to one-shot a human:  If you’re talking about knocking unconscious, a goose or a swan can most definitely do that with a wing blow.  Geese make excellent guard animals as they will attack anyone they don’t like or aren’t familiar with. (There are instances of geese being allowed to roam the bailey (space inside the outer castle wall) to guard castles, especially at night. (Scottish castle owners often did this one.)
Outright killing, though, is tricky to discern; there are claims that eagle claws are powerful enough to pierce a skull.  At the very least, there have been recorded attacks of beaks injuring eyes and claws slashing at throats and puncturing brachial (upper arm) arteries...and that could indeed potentially be fatal.  (This is why you don’t just grab a raptor hatchling or wild adult (eagle, falcon, hawk, etc, & I’ll lump owls in there, too) and try to train it to be your super-badass Hogwarts mail carrier pet.  Not without actual genuine training, apprenticeship, and government certification for being able to handle and care for all such species.)
**Caveat #2:  the “Africanized Honey Bee” came from the breeding of a very docile non-stinging African honeybee with several varieties of Western European honey bees, creating a hypervigilant breed...which got released when an idiot removed the mesh screen preventing the queens and drones from leaving the hive.
To date, “killer bees” haven’t killed all that many people:  the rate is 1 to 2 people a year.  To put that into perspective...sharks kill people on average once every 2 years, so 50% to merely 25% the rate of killer bees.  High school & college football kills an average of 12 people a year.  Cows kill an average of 20 people a year, and champagne corks kill around 24.  Africanized honey bees can be aggressively territorial...and even pack up and move the hive elsewhere when really stressed...but they are apparently prodigious honey producers.
...Note that how we talk about a subject can sometimes generate more interest in that subject, hence this particular YouTuber’s video presentation style choice.

A quick look at the legendary Charles "Chargin" Beckwith-
In 1952, the Green Bay Packers drafted “Chargin’ Charlie” Beckwith from the University of Georgia. But seeing as how the Korean War was already in its second year, Chargin’ Charlie declined the offer for a different green uniform.
Commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant, Charles Beckwith served a few years on the Korean Peninsula, in war and later peacetime. It was after Korea that he joined the 82d Airborne, and later, U.S. Army Special Forces.
Beckwith’s first mission was to train the Royal Lao Army in 1960 but his mission to deploy with British SAS to Malaysia as they fought a Communist insurgency is one that forever changed military history.
It was there that Beckwith came down with a mean case of Leptospirosis — a bacterial infection that causes kidney failure and pulmonary hemorrhaging. Doctors did not expect Beckwith to survive.
In fact, they called it one of the three worst cases they’d ever seen. Beckwith was given three weeks to live — and he did.
He survived the infection and his time with the Special Air Service inspired him to develop the American Army’s version of such an elite unit. In 1963, he formed the specialty unit code-name Project Delta, personally selecting the men best suited to conduct long-range recon operations in Vietnam.
But his time in Delta — and on Earth — was nearly cut short in Vietnam in 1966. Beckwith was shot in his abdomen with a .50-caliber round. He was taped up, but essentially left for dead.
But death still didn’t come.
Beckwith not only recovered, he continued with his military career, fighting in a series of battles from the Tet Offensive in 1968 until the end of the war in 1973.
It was in the mid-70s that Beckwith’s elite unit idea finally became a full reality. He was given the authority and formed the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment – Delta in 1977. The new elite unit focused on anti-terror and hostage recovery ops, based on the model of the British SAS.
Unfortunately for Beckwith and Delta, their first mission was Operation Eagle Claw, the doomed hostage rescue of Americans held in Iran. After the catastrophic failure of Eagle Claw, Beckwith retired from the Army.
The Giant Killer book & page honors these incredible war heroes making sure their stories of valor and sacrifice are never forgotten. The book which features the incredible life of the smallest soldier, Green Beret Captain Richard Flaherty (101st Airborne & 3rd SF Group 46th Co.) and several of the other heroes featured on this page is available on Amazon & Walmart. God Bless our Vets!

Wo endet die US-Einflußsphäre?
Tumblr media

‘Nuke Milwaukee’ a.k.a. ‘Operation White Summer’ - this is not hate-speech or incitement but a sketch of what ‘could’ happen and why
Someone told me to grow a beard and someone else told me to shave - I like to shave, I went without shaving and a lot of salt-of-earth b/Black people literally started spitting at me and stuff like, ‘This isn’t the male prostitute I ordered that Kendi / Mao assured me I would get by dint of racial privilege in history’ - mental illness, demons, cauldron-Babylon.  You are not supposed to provoke people’s hate and murderousness that I know of.  Santa Mao and the great fairy-tales-are-all-real explicators / intellectual entrepreneurs and propagandists; ‘The Unoriginal Sinner and the Ice Cream God.’
I speculated that ‘Rex Imperator’ Vladimir V. Putin could be the most powerful man ITW today and perhaps in all human history due to his extreme intelligence, responsibility, having been on the scene at amazing moments.  There was a book about Russia I saw that decided to call WW2 Eastern Front ‘Great Fatherland War’ instead of ‘Great Patriotic War’ although the Russians themselves also used a phrase, ‘Holy Mother Russia.’  A biography of Zhukov whose author prefaced, ‘Really I would’ve preferred to write about KK Rokossovsky of Op. Bagration’ - me too!  I kept thinking about Bagration and how many families both German and Russian kept their sons and futures due to the extreme ferocity and much else that is hard to describe about sort of eagle-clawing the throat out of Army Group Center.  KKR was actually part Polish, was tortured, known for being gentlemanly.  End digression: Russians and Eastern Europeans know a lot about violence and also how to keep trying to do the right thing even after very bad things happen to them.  More to the point: they succeed.  In MS we mocked Poles but Poles saved Christendom at the Siege of Vienna; people never say this but they also fought longer and harder than France in WW2.  They are beautiful important people; I never met a Pole who lacked determination and frankly a belief in ultimate victory.
Around here I made one last attempt to heal my past w/ a book about people in and from Shanghai and then went to the Starbucks where I used to practice Korean and penmanship, the barista was like, ‘Oh!  You went to the bookstore?’  I don’t know how to reply.  What are people doing?
At H-Mart, ‘someone to love.’  People on the verge of war make snap-decisions that determine their lives; however, these stories can still end up subsumed or engulfed in much larger circumstances - which looks good and beautiful in Hollywood but.  I’m reminded of a gas-chamber scene in ‘Life and Fate’ in which a woman ‘adopts’ a young boy in the last moments of their lives on this Earth.  One wants to find someone, some o/Other, to cover sacrificially, while the flames roll over or one body catches fire on its back but extinguishes the fire on the other; from what I know about napalm OTOH it can ignite water.  My point is - all of this happened to people in non-America and they kept going; they worked harder; they kind of said pace Brothers Karamazov, ‘I am more responsible than all the others.’  Kyungsook Shin was wrapping 24,000 pieces of candy per day or so she claimed.  ‘Manual labor makes one honest.’
People are like ‘Say the name of one person who died and let’s demand that David Johnston shave or we’ll infect him with a bioweapon ad maiorem Maoem gloriam.’  That’s psychopathic malice + the barista is like ‘The High Toned Christian Woman’ - ‘civil madam...’  But if you read Isaiah all the ladies are getting stripped and stuff which sort of happened in GoT from what I understand but GoT was more commercial revenge-pornography written by white people for white people or rather for Mammon.  I feel attached to the 1990s; I liked the Beethoven-derived and much-remixed and re-sung song ‘Hope’ and esp the last ‘Culture Humanity’ concert; it struck me most of Girls Gen were born in 1989, the year of Berlin and Tiananmen.  But - nothing near as bad as Leningrad, Stalingrad, the Holocaust, Hiroshima, etc. has even happened to Milwaukee and, it, shows.  I used to walk around [Korea] reflecting, ‘Here I am in the walled rose garden guarded by military angels and entrusted with the chance or chances of numerous children’s lives whose world is the apartment, the school the church the cram school the piano cram school, Mom’s hand, the pellucidity and “innocence of objects” in the department stores.’
I wanted to tell Mike Pompeo about this because Rose Gardens are very important and Korea is very very important; I really wanted him to be President after the Rose Garden b/c I felt, ‘This guy doesn’t care about “persona” and he’s not saying everything he can or trying to pretend he understands everyone in the present or will give them stuff he is just talking in “noun-truths,” life, China, people, truth, trust, distrust.’  America is still like, ‘Let’s remember Hitler’s personality.’  No!  Did Pompeo state a falsehood?  Did he promise or offer stuff?  Did he tell people what’s good and bad or what it’s OK to hope for?  Is he trying to teach anyone anything or is he being, doing, having, working?
I do not believe America can out-lie or out-charm or if I’m being honest out-beauty the Chinese.  I definitely don’t believe ‘we’ can out-math the Chinese.  I know a bit about how they teach math in SG.  It is far from magic and it’s also not your football coach.  IDK everything but I cannot easily conceive of chaining these flaxen-haired Midwestern girls to IV-drips while they cram for college entrance exams; they might do diet-pills and stuff a la ‘All Loves Excelling’ but that is not a happy story!  She dies; moms blog.  This novel haunts me but if we convert it into prophecy what is it saying?  It’s saying ‘failure of education; failure of America; Changrae Lee novel (Gesture Life) for white people who think Korean stuff only happens to Koreans.’
The Episcopalian Church today talks about Christ and consciousness which I believe is important since I am conscious person but the local pastor also talked about ghosts and life and it really baffled me.  Category of consciousness as opposed to knowledge, or pre-programmed reaction, or ‘calling it as one sees it.’  In a way I associate consciousness with a poem by Tagore called ‘Unending Love.’  Holding the consciousness of b/Being, the permanent presence or at least permanent abiding awareness of the reality of the o/Other near or far.’  Another banned book I hoped never to talk about again was ‘The Elementary Particles’ which is full of pornography and hate and anti-family anti-mom rhetoric and its author really didn’t help himself in some ways - I also love his poem ‘Liquid Birth’ however.  In the end of ‘Elementary’ the future-historian writes about a transition / conversion from an ‘ontology of space’ to an ‘ontology of states.’  That’s an important idea which also reaches back, for instance in Houellebecq’s mind, to the medieval man’s constant testing of his state of grace or sin.
But, what permanently changes the bases, groundwork, foundation, or ‘metalanguage-basis’ for the mental awareness of ‘historical moment?’  What decisive kind of event could stop the mind from going back to the easy and complacence-generation assumption that every experience can be filed away in a library thus enabling one to return or regress to a prior mindset and self-consciousness or ‘internal identity-theory-engine.’  What comes to my mind is, ‘losing everything.’  People believe they can eat up everything and blog about it.
I don’t know if I can make a clear case for this but I just feel like ‘Milwaukee Torch Parade’ is not the way to go.  It reminds of something really dumb John Updike said after 9/11 that totally missed the point - Chancellor John Piper might have said ‘Don’t Waste Your Terror-Attack’ - about America’s realizing that it was not that great to get richer and richer and watch talk-shows and that were many possible friends, converts, human lives / souls, whom a very little of our treasure could help in big ways.  Right after 9.11 before ‘Operation Infinite Justice’ there was the sense that everything would be different; ‘death of irony’ might have missed the point but the idea that we could live by direct declarative statements and avowals rather than conversations and Tory-doubts was a good idea and only then instead of ‘bread and lilies’ we spent a huge amount of money on bombs that suck out people’s eyeballs and collapse their lungs... I’m not even saying it is wrong to build amazing weapons because God’s an amazing masculine being - the amazing - but there remains the category of ‘permanent lessons.’  The drawing of unerasable lines that provide a demarcation.
Anyway I just feel like they’re not enforcing posted laws, there are all these weird modded cars and motorcycle maniacs, they lock up drunks while apparently bypassing sex-slaves, I get lectured about people freezing to death by my parents who own like 20-30 jackets and then my mom is like ‘Your father [Freudian excuse from 60 years ago].’  This is not how Eastern Europeans and Russians do things. From what I know this is not how human history has worked for most people.

The next few rounds you’ll knit your stitches together to close the beanie. Like this: Start at the beginning of the round, and lift the first stitch from your left needle to your right. Without knitting it, knit the next two stitches together, and pull the “lifted” stitch over the knit-together stitch. Knit the next three stitches and continue the round like this: intake, knit three, intake, and so on. From the abstract, razor-thin ticks at Stella McCartney to the perfectly drawn embellished wings at Valentino and Miu Miu, jet-black eyeliner continued to prove itself as the ultimate tool of self-expression. Then there was a certain glam-meets-goth-punk mood catalyzed by the midnight black claws at Balenciaga and bold scarlet-streaking updos at Alexander McQueen.
