Dude, you will NOT be a useless fuck! You will help her repot those plants, haul bags of potting soil, and if you ever move locations, you WILL make sure there are decently placed, suitably sunny windows & shady locations for those plants as they need BEFORE YOU BUY OR RENT.

She is very concise about the working hours for sole childcare & housekeeping duties, and when it becomes teamwork for both parents.

Stirrup Spout Vessel in the Form of a Feline
ARTIST CULTURE Cupisnique
PERIOD Early Horizon, c.900–200 BC
DATE c.700–400 BC
MADE IN Perú
Provenience unknown, possibly looted
The incised rings on the body of this vessel may represent the rosette-marked pelt of a jaguar. The banded portion of the lower legs resembles the marks found on a mountain lion. Large felines are skilled hunters in nature and occupy the top of the food chain. Associated with shamanism and the embodiment of supernatural power, felines played a crucial role in ancient cultures. This vessel was likely crafted through the use of a mold. The clay was pressed into a two-piece mold, and as the moist clay began to dry, it contracted and was easily released. Remaining seam marks were then smoothed by the artist.

This is why I tend to write the stories that I myself want to read, because I know I'm going to reread it many times, re-enjoying it throughout the years.
The devastating difference between how much time it takes to write something vs how fast people read it lol

Pretty sure that's the truth...but honestly, not even any signs of farm buildings??
I'm not sure if the right edge of the image is a bay or a lake or river, some kind of water feature, maybe or maybe not. It could be a coastal outpost, in which case fishing (fish, seaweed, etc) could be a vital source of food. But if it's a cliff ravine, then maybe a mining resource was in the area? Possibly precious gems, possibly precious minerals (mithril, perhaps? adamantite? or some sort of magical ore, maybe?), but we'll never know.

Mirror with Jaguar or Coyote Mosaic
Teotihuacan, 500–600 CE
For over 2,000 years, polished stone mirrors were an important component of Mesoamerican attire, ritual, and symbolic imagery. This mirror is made of a single sheet of polished pyrite stone and includes a jade jaguar mosaic at its center. Mirrors often functioned as emblems of rank and office and were typically worn at the small of the back. The depiction of such mirrors in ancient murals, as worn by warriors, priests, and state officials, attests to their importance in the spectacular art of ritual performance in Teotihuacan.
