//Hhhh thinking about the Imperial Anon's bounty and where Darius is at in his current timeline - where he's at the trial of Tycho Celchu (hhh my roomie has been liveblogging her reading the books so while I haven't read them, she's giving me really good rundowns), and all we both can think of is how devious the Imperial Intel agent might've been - or even his superiors - to have Darius take the job at this moment in time.

//Because in his Discord timeline (which I'm still converting over to his other timeline) he was actually captured by Imperial Videre. (who are originally called Nor'Thumbrans, which translates to "Men of the North Storm" or Dar'Thumrbians which is "Men of the Dark(force) Storm") These Videre, being led by Ysanne Isard, bring him to the Lusankya from which he ends up on Ak'ritar, meets Tycho, and escapes. Unbeknownst to him, the Imp Videre did their bit to try and make him into one of them, including expanding his abilities to include force bonds. Guess who he unintentionally gets bonded to.

//Fastforward like 2-3 years when everyone's thinking he's cleared of any brainwashing or programming - and here comes an intel agent with just the right incentive to get him started and the programming does the rest.

//Idk how it would end for Darius but I know he'd slowly start sliding into that mando/videre hunter type and start trying to capture his quarry and use his catches as bait for the others. How far he gets before his force bond with Tycho jars him out of it is currently in the air, but oh boy, this new timeline stuff along with this Imp Anon stuff is just -chef's kiss-

//Been thinking about Darius in Destiny and how I'd actually really like an Osiris to take him as his student - not to teach him but maybe to study him, to put him on the right path to avoid becoming Wrathborn again. Bc in one of my ideas, Darius does become a wrathborn, consumed by vengeance over the murder of his father and brother by the forces of the Hive Goddess of war, Xivu Arath. So he goes out to try and root out any Wrathborn or Hive of her broods he can, unwittingly following the very path that gives her strength.

//At the end of the line, I imagine he might become more Wrathborn than himself bc of how much of his mind his vengeance has taken and how much influence of Xivu Arath's cryptoliths would have in changing him without him knowing before it's too late.

//I actually imagine Osiris knowing his father, possibly having worked with him at some point, and having gone out to investigate the Cryptoliths only to find Darius there as a Wrathborn. Little does he know that killing him mercifully doesn't work when one's life is being powered by that of a Wish Dragon, and a father's wish that takes life from another to revive your own.

//Osiris would've learned that firsthand and probably would've been quite alarmed and astonished when Sagira revived him and he found Darius mostly healed through his borrowed Light. Darius would've been horrified upon waking up and finding himself *healed* by another's Light. Fortunately, not even a Wish can take a Guardian's full light and Sagira was able to revive Osiris. But seeing a wrathborn cured and mostly restored from their mutated, mindless form--it must certainly be something worth investigating.
