reminder to newcomers that if your blog has no posts, no profile picture, no header, and your blog colors aren't changed, i and most other people will take that as you being a bot and will block and report you as spam if you follow us. go to your profile and click the little paint pallette and give your blog a makeover real quick or if that's too much just change your blog title to something like "not a bot". i really recommend the makeover though because that's much more fun even if you don't want to reblog and you're just here to lurk.

#and if newcomers see this: we had a huge bot influx in december-ish where a lot of us were having up to a dozen bots following us in a day #it took ages for it to settle down but for me theres only one or two a day now #and because ive seen people arguing for leaving their bot followers: follower count doesnt matter in the slightest on tumblr #no one can see the numbers and it doesnt boost your posts. all leaving the bots does is possibly let them spam your posts #with malicious links. they do nothing and thats why we block and report them and when you leave your blog completely empty #that just makes you indistinguishable from a bot when you follow someone and your blog may eventually be deleted if its reported enough. #im saying all this because i think im ending up blocking quite a few humans lately and i dont want to block real people #come join the party but theres just one rule: you HAVE to show signs of humanity. even if its just a simple ''not a bot'' in your bio.

My favorite thing that I’ve been thinking about as of recently is P03 and his workers have a human challenger just living with them, you know your typical fanfic with these goofy goobers. However, the challenger in question is basically a pet to them. Just four bots with their pet human.

This to me is kinda funny, because it’s mostly of a means of just keeping the challenger fed and watered. They can handle being bathed and other things on their own but the food and water needs to be provided. Therefore they would also take turns as to who feeds the challenger and who waters them every week.

Every so often throughout the day someone will say, “Did you remember to feed the challenger?” And that to me is hilarious.

Honestly, I think this would be a pretty good life to live. Free healthcare, free food and water, a large factory to live in and four friends to live with(technically five if you count James).

But yeah just silly thoughts

By some sheer cosmic luck last night, as I was scrolling through my dashboard, a bot link was suggested to me through the 'pc games' topic. Because it was tagged with a bunch of random tags that had absolutely nothing to do with the actual 'content' Tumblr put it in that category and it found its way to me. I was about to just report and go on my way, until I realized it had likes.

This was the start of my late night game. I realized that if you look through the likes on one of these posts (keep in mind the post is very obviously a bot link) you come across- you guessed it

These are all bots. And I stayed up til 3 am reporting each. single. one. That was my game. Last night's score was a grand total of 123!

Midway through I began to doubt myself thinking 'but what if they're not actually bots'- but yknow what? They liked the obvious bot link. Either they're a bot, or suspicious enough to warrant an accidental report.

And besides I'm pretty darn sure they're all bots pretty sure

I found that there's typically 2 types in this list. Those who post pictures of random women (and the bot links), and those who have nothing on their blog BUT all their likes are bot links.

The second type will come in very handy for continuing my game.

Never underestimate the power of spite and boredom.

I am waging war on the bots. I am hunting them for sport. And I don't intend to stop :)
