They haven't grown closer since Metropolis, since their feet were scraped by walking endlessly, since they've been saving eachother's lives more often than they should've.

Clark sighs as he watches him go, Jon In his arms and a loaded gun over his shoulder, " No, Jonny, don't touch that. It's bad," He says, gently grabbing the kid when that tiny little hand tries to grab the barrel. He knows Jon'll have to use one soon.

Clark just hopes he won't be around to see it.

Let them meet Jason and Bruce when Kon and Jason literally try to maul eachother,

" Kon!" There's a ball of limbs and reds and dark hair tangled together, feral and angry, mangled like two angry snakes clutching at eachother, " is he bit?!"

" I don't care!"

"...Holy fuck," Jason gasps when Jon wiggles around, an action Bruce mimicsm, "Holy shit. That's a baby. I haven't seen a baby in years. Bruce, do you,--"

Bruce is already advancing, taking steps, not brave but not cowardly. He hands Kon a handkerchief for his bleeding nose, but there's no breaks in his and Jon's eye contact.

A stare of wonder. Fright, but wonderful. "... Hi, honey. My name is Bruce. What's your name?"

Jon's been hiding his face in Clark's neck until Bruce talked, just as scared of other human beings as Clark was, but shyness dies quickly with him. " Hi! "

" His name's Jon," Clark says, " he'll be six next week." God. He'll be six. He doesn't know. He has to pretend to know or he'll go crazy. Bruce nods. His hand is held out, " May I?"

He asks Jon if he wants to, and of course he says yes. Who doesn't want to be loved at world's funeral? Jon and Bruce cuddle in the middle of nowhere, and they're left to stare.

" Jason, show Kon the bathroom, please. And you're welcome to a shower if you'd like. But no guns," his tone is final, and Clark doesn't mind munch. He doesn't rely on them for survival.

Kon does find it weird, " Where do you keep yours, then?"

"I don't like guns."

"Then how'd you kill sickos till now?"

" We don't kill them."

" Speak for yourself," Jason mutters, pinching Jon's cheek on his way upstairs, " How slow are you, freak?"

" Not slower than you, creep!"

Clark watches. It's nice. To see him be a kid.

He turns to Bruce, unsure, skeptical, all he ever is these days, " You seriously don't kill them? Not any of them?"

" There's enough death around, Mr. Kent. I refuse to contribute. Besides. Aren't we all dead already?" Clark hums. He doesn't know how to answer that. Watching Bruce kiss Jon's cheeks is easier.

Hello my friends! New Promt! Ps. Pick a dc character you want me to fit in a promt. (I like asking questions)

Dick Grayson had no idea what was going on.

Nor did he want to know.

It all started when Bruce informed the family that a recently orphaned Danial Fenton would be coming to stay with them.

Did it bother him? No! Dick was looking forward to having another sibling (dont say he's not Bruce, for God's sake, he has black hair and blue eyes), the only problem was with Damian.

Dick and the family had worked hard to show Damian that everyone was equally loved and that he wasn't getting sent back to the league for simple mistakes.

Dicks biggest achievement was getting Tim and Damian to get along, though they made a rather terrifying duo.

But anyway, that wasn't the point.

The thing was when the boy finally arrived, other then a scowling Damian, everything was fine.

The boy, Danial who liked to be called Danny, was shy and sweet in the beginning and quite nervous to be around the family, but once he warmed he was cracking jokes and puns like their was no tomorrow.

Dick thought it was a bit odd that Danny was so cheerful after just losing his family, but, everyone has their own coping mechanisms, and as long as he didnt decide to pick up a furry costume and prance into the night to fight crime, Dick would support.

Oddly enough, Tim, Damian, and Danny were the ones to get along best, and Dick found it absolutely adorable (at the time. Never mind, no matter their plans, their still cute), though he heard Jason mutter something along the lines of "God damn it, they've band together, we're all doomed."

Which Dick thought was a bit of an exaggeration.

So what if they smiled when news came of lexcorp blown up, and their funds and stocks drastically decreasing.

So what if they sat together laughing adorably (or in Damians case a small warm smile), while surrounded by sheets of paper detailing plans to destroy the league of assassins (Did Danny figure out their identities???)(they called somone named Jazz for advice, should he be concerned?)

So what if when Dick decided to surprise them and barged into their game room to find several assassins and Slade wilson on the floor, tied up masterfully, unable to move a muscle and knocked out while the boys played video games.

It didn't matter, they were adorable.

So why was Dick so frightened now?

Good question.

"Er... Damian why are you and Tim holding Ra's Al Ghul at knife point? And why the FUCK DOES DANNY LOOK LIKE A DAMN ELDRITCH MON- CREATURE!!! AND OH MY GOD, DANNY WHAT IN THE NAME OF DEMENTORS IS THAT, ARE YOU SUCKING OUT HIS SOUL?!?!?!"

Dick was never shy with affection. He very much liked PDA and showing off his boyfriend was especially fun.

"Can I hold your hand?" He asked while your fingers moved across the keyboard.

"I am in the middle of writing out an email" You told him, not looking up from your screen.

Dick scooted closer to you, sitting on the edge of your desk.

"Please?" He asked.

"Don't you have something to do? A rooftop to patrol? Something?" You asked. You loved him but you really needed to finish this.

"Come on, I know you can type one handed" He said, sliding his arm in front of your computer screen.

The two of you met when you got promoted a few months back, working closely with Bruce Wayne meant you met his family, including Dick. The two of you were flirty for a while before he finally asked you out and the two of you got together shortly there after.

"You're no fun" He said and you rolled your eyes.

"How about you go your place and pick up some of your favorite take out and I'll meet you back there once I'm done here, since you obviously don't have anywhere else to be" You said and he smiled.

"A stay at home date night? I'm in" He said and kissed your cheek.

"See you at home babe" He said and quickly left.

A little later your assistant came in to drop off some documents.

"Dick left in a good mood" She mentioned.

"We have a date night once I finish up here" You told her.

"Sounds fun, you should head out soon then. Wouldn't wanna keep him waiting too long" She said and you nodded.

"I just wanna finish up this report" You said.

"You can head home if you're done, it's getting late" You told her and she nodded.

"Alright, see you tomorrow boss" She said before sticking her head through the door one last time.

"Make sure to head home after this" She said and you smiled.

"I will, good night" You told her.

By the time you made it toi Dick's apartment over an hour later you were exhausted.

"Finally done?" Dick asked from the couch and you nodded, flopping down next to him.

"What's you get?" You asked him as you snuggled up to him in front of the TV.

"Sushi. Yours is on the table" He said and you slogged your way over to the dining table, taking your suchi with you back to the couch.

"I see you already started" You said, referring to Dick's partially eaten platter.

"It took you awhile" He said.

"Besides, you get to pick the movie" He said.

"We're not watching Lion King again" You told him.

"You complain but you always enjoy it" He teased. taking a piece from your plate.

"Yeah, well today we're watching a documentary" You told him, picking up the remote.

"Seriously? you know I can't help but talk during those" He said and you nodded.

"Who said we would be paying attention to the movie?" You asked slyly and a smirk spread on Dick's lips. He took another piece of your sushi and scooted himself into your lap.

absolutely! kieran, despite her career and criminal background, is extremely shy and often nonverbal. like, if bruce looked at her wrong she'd probably pass out from fear alone. because of this, the two are great on picking up on nonverbal cues from one another- with a little bit of sign language thrown in. it helps especially at galas or when kieran is getting overstimulated

ant: What’s something your f/o is really good at?

well, besides gymnastics and being charismatic, i imagine an older dick is a great mediator for those around him. damien and tim arguing? nope- you're talking this out. now. kieran feels uncomfortable when someone is joking about her job? we're going over there to discuss this properly. no bottled up feelings are allowed on this man's watch !!!

snake: Is your f/o stealthy? Good at hiding things from you?

when crime fighting? yes. in any other circumstance? no <3 he gets way too excited or feels far too guilty if he's trying to hide something and will eventually just blurt it out. for example, if this man ever tries to propose, he is going to be SWEATING.

it also doesn't help that kieran has enhanced hearing and control over computers. she loves listening to people gossip from across the manor + sometimes reads peoples emails or texts. dont tell anyone tho shh. she just has so fun learning little details abt people. but, because of this, dick has to wait for her to leave the house before he even dares to verbally discuss a birthday gift or anything of the sort :3

i couldnt watch shubh mangal zyaada saavdhan on tuesday bc one of my profs made us go to uni on wednesday and kept us there so fucking long (im def blaming her for me getting sick, at the beginning of the semester we were told we would go to uni once a week for this class, then she pushed to make us go twice a week, monday and thursday, and then this week she also made us go on wednesday) and i had a big group assigment to turn in by 4:30pm so i spent all night working and then while i was at uni i got a text from a classmate saying that the due date was pushed to friday which i was both thankful and annoyed at bc i had already spent all night working on it but at least i had time to rest once i got home and finish my last part of it later

and yeah, my class starts at 8 bc they made the most annoying ass schedule this semester, i couldnt sign up for a class bc it was scheduled at the same time as another even, and there werent any sections at other times for some fucking reason

my rest is getting over tomorrow but it was a good few days of doing nothing but watching gay pirate tv shows and rereading cbaw manhua(i am, as you can see, a man of culture<3).

cursing every single road i see everyday and i will do the same for every hill you have to endure(except the one i can see from the window. its so pretty & i really wanna go visit it sometime.also i cant attach a pic cause its a recognizable place here but im gonna attempt to describe it cause the scenery man. the clouds hang around the top of the it and a stream of water can always be seen even from the distance and theres a factory kind of place there and they raise the indian flag there on important days. yea)

man theres this cat downstairs and i wish it'd follow me home but its content to just wander :-; but yea seeing him is such a boost of joy🥰

i think academia is going to be tough on us for a bit with offline happening cause now the teachers have to bring the marks up to what it was pre-pandemic and its going to be hard. may perseverance come easier to us though.
