first of all, enhanced spidey sense. i don’t only perceive near danger but FUTURE danger as well. basically i get visions, premonitions, prophecies, whatever you wanna call them. they are always about danger and there IS a way to change them. i dont know how that would work with time and space continuum and all those complicated things, but who wants logic, boring!! If by any chance, someone did hurt you, Ijekiel will see it as an opportunity for him to put his science studies to good use and sneak poison into the person's food. Anything done in your name is justice.

Although Ijekiel gets jealous like any other man, he's good at hiding the bitter feeling that wells up inside his chest when he sees you getting too close to another person for his liking. He wants nothing more than to rip those vile hands off you, but his virtues as a gentleman and the risk of ruining his family's reputation prevent him from acting recklessly. He'll have to deal with the situation in a noble's way; threatening to send a forged letter of their treason with false yet convincing evidence to the emperor should be enough to keep them away from you.

He is tactical and very patient. Although he'd like the two of you to get engaged as soon as possible, he knows better than to rush things. He feigns surprise before smiling at her gratefully, thanking her for her encouragement. When you suddenly show up in front of the gazebo, Jeanette wasn't expecting you to be joining them as well. Unsure of how to react after her conversation with Ijekiel, she quickly excuses herself, leaving your puzzled self behind with the Alpheus heir. Both of you miss the way the light fades from his usually kind eyes.

You ask Ijekiel why Jeanette was in a hurry, and he replies that she's running late for one of her classes. The two of you then have a pleasant conversation, and as you're drinking the tea he poured for you, you notice that you're starting to get sleepy. When you tell him this, he reasons that you must still be exhausted from your outing yesterday (how did he know you went to town?). Hoi! Sorry for not posting in I think... 2 days? I have a big project for one of my classes (by big I mean I am an overachiever so... I'm the only reason why it is big it should actually be pretty small) so I've been working on that. I just wanted to make a quick post if what I plan to work on once I'm done!

Main thing is that somebody requested a ace/aro reader with a very romantic Wally Darling, which I am very happy omg. The ace/aro community needs more representation imo so I will do my best. I could see Wally understanding after getting an explanation but I will save all that for the actual post.

The second thing is that I want to try to draw the rooms for a couple of Iolite Hospital patients, or try to post a colored sketch or literally anything. Mainly because I need to work on drawing backgrounds and coloring.

Anyways, that's the only two things on my list. Other people of sent in requests, so I will try to get to those. I just like to keep my to do's small so I don't stress myself.

i dont have the patience to make the stubble look good. but yeah this is it. i initially did the line art way too early and way too heavy, so i had to do a lot of fixing when i realised i wanted it to be thinner, cause id relied on it when i was coloring. i fucking hate it but at the same time maybe this time ill remember to use highlights and shadows more in my drawings. i honestly dont have that much more to say. heres the base picture:

i will not be attempting realism again any time soon. and apparently my oc uses she/her as well now. they fr a pronoun hoarder at this point.

also i feel like i do really well at drawing details, but really shitty at like bringing those details together ya know. like im kinda proud of the shading work on its hands, but also literally no other detail is worth mentioning. cause there are none. but honestly i do like the hair and skin because theres so much more shading in those. yeah. i gotta learn to shade more and rely less on the line art. also this time i forced myself to name and organise the layers and god was it easier in the long run.

That would be my Honorary Remnant AU! It's a fic in which Chiaki Nanami (the real one) awakens from a coma about two and a half years after she supposedly died, just in time to witness her friends at the height of their power as Remnants of Despair. The fic follows her adventures as she goes out into the world to confront them one by one and try to snap them out of it.

The AU started years ago as a paragraph-by-paragraph roleplay between me and @blueflame91, so the fic's formatting is a bit unusual. But if you can get past that, I promise you're in for a really cool story. It's all about redemption arcs and found family, and, of course, Chiaki and Kazuichi having an adorable friendship.

"Sign my cast!” Kazuichi scrabbled at his bedside table for a moment and then threw a marker at her.

Chiaki fumbled with the marker, but eventually caught it with both hands. “Oh! Okay!” She leaned over his foot, before pausing and standing up straight again. “Should I just sign my name? I can write other stuff too, right?”

“Yeah, whatever you want!” He faltered. “Er, I mean not WHATEVER you want. Don’t, like, draw a dick on it or something. I gotta wear this thing around for like a month. I don’t wanna be dickfoot guy.”

Chiaki snickered at that, before leaning back over his foot and signing her name and writing “Get well soon!” underneath, as well as drawing a tiny, badly drawn cat emoji with a thumbs up. She then put the cap back on the marker and handed it back to Kazuichi. “There! All done!”

“Chiaki, you’re my best friend,” Kazuichi said, tearing up slightly as he examined his horribly drawn cat. “It’s like you went out of your way to not make it dick shaped.”

A bit of a tangent ig...

Sometimes I get a little bit anxious with My Hero ending so soon.

I joined the fandom nearly two years ago, but I did so when I was graduating high school and beginning my adulthood. And though I will hold firmly on to my passions and interests as I grow older, sometimes it's hard to find the time to contribute to fandom spaces.

There's so much art I want to draw, so many fanfics I want to write, so many edits I want to create, but I have so little time for it all.

With My Hero ending I feel like I won't get to share my works with others-- that no one will see my art as it progresses or read the great ideas I have for fanfics, and omg you guys, I have so many great plots. I just gotta write them down!

Despite that, though, there are fandoms that give me hope. Fandoms that have remained and even grown after a series finale, and I really hope that will be the case with My Hero. I mean, at least in the "anime community" the AOT fandom is still going strong and it's been a couple of years since the manga finished.

I guess I just wanted to voice my anxiety since I've been a little slow on this account, and with classes starting again I still want to be able to find the time to be apart of this community and interact with other bkdks again. Cuz you guys are great <3

But yeah...

I know my love for MHA or bkdk will never dwindle. If I ever had an OTP, it's them lol

I finished watching the Angels of Death / Satsuriku no Tenshi anime y’all… AND IT WAS SO DAMN GOOD OMG??????????? I also gotta finish reading the manga and finish watching a game playthrough still! I kept behind the episodes I was watching as the anime is how I wanted to experience the story! And ah I’m so happy I finally got into this series! Truth be told, when the game came out I didn’t think much of it. I thought it was cringy and like Creepypasta, that was my impression of Zack especially (thought he was like a rip off Jeff the Killer and I’ve always thought Jeff wasn’t a compelling character and had a weak story). Buuuuut of course my mind is changed! I still don’t think much of the game as some of the dialogue is just meh (maybe an English translation issue), but I can see aspects of it that are enjoyable. And of course I think the anime and manga are both great adaptations! I prefer them over the original game. The manga gives a lot more depth to each character that even the anime didn’t do, so I do recommend reading and watching both! To get the full story and content! And the art and animation in both is beautiful! Zack is especially cool in the manga!!! Ahhhh. So much pretty Zack art!

Oh and I watched the English anime dub! As I heard it was good AND IT IS.

Another fun fact: when the anime came out, I saw a compilation of Zack’s Japanese laugh which made me think the anime was bad??? Again I WAS WRONG. About the anime being bad! Uh but *whispers* I still think his Japanese laugh is…silly. His English laugh though! I liked that! The English cast did such a good job with EVERY character! I usually prefer watching in Japanese but I think the English cast was stronger (again ZACK). That’s my personal opinion! The English crazy Zack laugh was cool!

Anyway, I bet y’all can guess that Zack ended up being my fav. Astounding considering all my first impressions of him was so negative! Isn’t that fascinating?! He’s so cool! His design is top tier! DUDE USES A SCYTHE HELLO?! He made me feel bad for him! Uhh whenever he openly calls himself ‘dumb’ I was mentally like ‘NO ZACK DONT SAY THAT HUN’. :( dude never went to school, it isn’t his fault.

Rachel was a very compelling protagonist! Though I guess she and Zack were duo protagonists! Anyway, I loved how much mystery there was to her. I couldn’t figure her out fully until it was all revealed. There’s still some things about her that are unclear buuuut I think the manga will patch all the holes!

The best aspect of this series is the dynamic between Rachel and Zack. Brains and brawn. They depend on each other for selfish reasons, at first. Which was interesting to watch! It gave me heavy found family/sibling vibes. Uh I definitely avoid the fans that ship them…because gross. Rachel is 13 and Zack is in his 20s… so can people just not??? It’s like Ib and Garry all over again I swear. So yeah stay away from me if you’re into gross stuff like that.

ANYWAY I’m excited to finish the other Angels of Death media soon too! And am already drawing some art (and purchasing merch)!

I may do one more normal reply roundup after this, but then they will become shorter, more sporadic, and less thorough - just whatever catches my eye that I have something to say about, rather than systemically trawling the notes of every post since the last one

the reblob queue is still full up until mid-november, but when that runs out I will also be changing how that gets filled - organizational tags will stay but commentary will be less frequent, and I’ll just refill as I go instead of big days of concentrated effort which means you may get the same artist multiple days and it may just run out sometimes if no one’s posted in a while

I will be stopping the patreon requests and wallpapers after fulfillment for november signups - that means there will be patreon requests and a wallpaper that go up in december, but none after that. I may or may not sub in a $5 postcard tier at that time, for a little print in the mail of whichever drawing was my favorite that month, but that’s still a maybe. other than that the patreon will become more of a tip jar, if you just like tucking a little extra spending money in my pocket so I can order better food sometimes :v I’m pretty sure the favorites posts every couple months should continue though.
