So I've seen a lot of posts that use Danny Todd or Respawn in reincarnation ideas. Couple that with a severe lack of sleep and a desperation to not do any or the various assignments I have and I got a gloriously stupid idea. What if Danny were constantly reincarnating?

We begin with Thomas Wayne Jr. Older brother to Bruce Wayne and brain damaged serial killer turned acrobat? (Boy the 70s were wild) anyhow after Thomas Jr. heroically takes a bullet for his brother, the higher powers that be decide he was given a rotten hand in life and decide to let him reincarnate.

Enter Danny Todd who has yet another tragic life. He tries to shield his brother from the terrors of the world and give him a good life. He even joins a gang and dirties his hands so Jason doesn't have to. The unfortunately ends with Danny Todd losing his life with the fire escape he's on collapses. The powers that be cough awkwardly as they realize this new life was just as terrible as the first. Therefore they try again.

Bam! Daniel Fenton comes bursting onto the scene and his life is actually pretty good. Sure his parents are a little obsessed with their research but by no means are they neglectful. Plus Danny is smart, talented, and driven. What a great life, nothing could possibly go wrong with this one! Until Danny turns 14 and promptly gets zapped. Now this right here opens up a whole new can of worms as Danny's newfound half ghost status gives him access to his past lives. Nothing too grand. Just little memories or feelings here and there but these glimpses seem to be getting clearer as time goes on. Too bad there's no time to focus on that though with all of these new ghost baddies stream in. Speaking of ghost baddies, during the events of TUE, Danny ends up sacrificing his life to save his family and erase Dan from the time stream.

So.... he's dead. Again. Geez what is with this kid dying younger and younger? Why can't you just live a long happy and fulfilling life!? *Sigh* That's it. Maybe what your soul really needs is some peaceful eternal rest. Wait where did he go? What do you mean he fell into a reincarnation pool? Who did he reincarnate as?!?

Respawn, son of Slade Wilson and Talia Al Ghul, opens his eyes. He has four sets of memories competing for dominance in his mind. Which leads him to be very confused and given his parentage/training, very angry. The only times things ever seemed to calm were when he was stalking Damian around his new family. Is that what he needs? The Waynes? But they already have Damian. Respawn would just be the spare if he joined them. He didn't like that. Replacement however - though still mildly annoying - he could get behind it.

Just making sure you know but a tumblr user called ode-on-a-grecian-butt has started reposting your stuff and when they were called out on it, they started saying that you were a "bitch" to them and that you deserve to have your art stolen :/ figured that you should know so you could at least block them if you wanted

thanks for letting me know. i just checked my inbox for the first time in a while and you're not the only person to tell me about this. I had almost forgotten about them until now because i'm not the sort of person to do public internet slap fights (or any internet slap fights if i can help it) and i thought they were just some rando who was probably having a bad day so i just dropped it and moved on.

basically, they reposted my rococo eldritch elf lady with the wrong tags and the accompanying drawings/lore gone (but with credit!), and when someone asked them if i said that was okay, they huffed a bit but they did come and ask me right away. it was kind of a weird ask because their reasoning was that they didn't like anything else about the post so reposting her made sense to them, but they were nice about it at first. really respectful. said they'd delete it no problem if i was uncomfy.

this was a lie :)

long story short, i said that i would rather they not repost that specific piece, especially with all the context stripped away, but that the credit was appreciated. they got snippy, i got snippy back because i was dealing with a dying cat and was in no mood to entertain yet another round of, "well if you feel that strongly about people reposting your art you should have a watermark," bs. not only would that not stop anyone ever (i know. i tried it when i was younger), but i also initial my work AND it was credited by them so it was clear that wasn't even the problem. they were just fussy about being told no.

considering their last words to me were, "get fucked chuckles," after i gently ribbed them for telling me what to do with my art and mis-tagging my stuff, and i guess they still reposted my art while slandering my mid-tier-at-best internet name, i think we can call it even on the bitch thing.

mostly i'm just posting this so people can stop telling me about them. i appreciate it, but this happened a few weeks ago and they're only 1 out of who knows how many internet weirdos who've showed up on my doorstep over the years. i already did the screenshot and block tango when this happened. i do not expect them to actually take my art down. i don't want an apology. as long as the block keeps blockin' and they keep my name out their mouth we're copacetic.

I'm here to share more about my OC backstory. The wifey, Kaltain or Katty. You already know she's grown up in an abusive family. So let me explain more. 

 

She's actually come from a very wealthy family....but there's a catch. She's actually an affair child. Her father had a scandal with one of her maids. He told her that her mother (the maid) was his true love. The one he married is only an arrangement. 

 

After the wife learned about the affair, she poisoned the maid. When the husband (Katty's father) found out the maid had died, he took Katty and let her grow up with his other family. The thing is, he didn't know that his wife and kids all hated her because of the attention she was given by his husband. 

 

A few years later, when she's 12 years old, her husband went on a business trip, but he didn't come back. Later, she got the news that he got into a car crash. Starting from that, her life was never easy: abuse, slavery, harassment, etc. 

 

After she turned 20, she finally escaped or ran away. She moved to New Orleans. At first, she only worked as a waitress, but after the singer decided to quit, her boss hired her as a singer. She hesitated at first but gave in after. Everyone is enthralled by her voice. So then she became the famous singer there. 

 

You know the drill: Alastor meets her there, asks her for a dance, and we have some dinner. Friend is growing more. Official, then get married.

 

So life has been great from there; she is happy, Alastor is happy, everyone is happy—until the wife (let's call her mother now) came to visit after knowing she had become famous. 

 

Alastor is okay with that; Katty, on the other hand, never told Alastor about her growing life before. When the mother arrived, it went well for the first few hours until the mother started to harass her. Thats when Alastor knew she never had a good childhood. 

 

So he needs to take things into his own hands...
