Who is your favorite OC? Least?

hi there, they do! all of my ocs coexist in the same universe throughout scattered points in time (i think that's how i ended up with so many since a lot of them are related lol). thanks so much for the kinds words. i don't have a cohesive story put into words yet but i will keep you updated on that. ;) with regards to your questions it's hard to pick just one fave, but right now it's a tie between vivienne and torvi because they hold special places in my heart (and both deserve better). my least favorite is rhaerion because he's just straight up not a good dude.

aaah, great question pal! i think i have my mind made up for most of them, so i will list my ocs’ alignments and a brief description of why they chose that respective side below.

*TEAM GREEN/ALICENT’S PARTY:

aliza oleander (née hightower) — due to being the sister of otto and aunt of alicent.

juliaena tyrell (née oleander) — due to being the cousin of alicent.

mykal oleander — due to being the cousin of alicent. also served as her son, aegon’s political ally.

rhaerion targaryen — originally sided with the blacks at his sister, rhaenys’ behest, but later switched allegiances in order to gain favor for vivienne oleander’s hand.

torvi (the right eye) — due to becoming involved with prince aemond.

vivienne oleander — sided with the queen’s party out of her loyalty and blood relation to alicent (it might be fair to note she was manipulated into choosing sides). encouraged by her fondness of her cousin’s children.

*NEUTRAL OR UNINVOLVED:

jaehra targaryen — never cared for politics (or really anyone but herself) so she never vouched for either side

mortin oleander — died before either party commenced

raisa royce — never publicly sided with any party, but was assumed to have preferred the greens due to her love for alicent and hatred for daemon

*TEAM BLACK/RHAENYRA’S PARTY:

doranah of wyl — as both an act of revenge out of being scorned by her husband, ser criston cole, as well as to serve as a secret spy to her lover, daemon.

jaegor waters — due to his amassed loyalty to his brother, daemon targaryen, and thus rhaenyra

seraena storm — due to her fondness of rhaenyra and her loyalties to her father

what's aeva's relationship with her parents

ah great question! i think her relationship with each one is a bit differently so i am going to answer this in two separate sections...

rhaerion: aeva and her father did not always see eye to eye, but they loved each other dearly nonetheless. i think rhaerion was overprotective and overbearing of his daughter (similarly to how he grew to be with her mother). there are times when he forces her into isolation alongside his wife in attempts to “protect them from the world,” when really it’s just out of his own fear that they will eventually abandon him. due to this, and his psychotic nature, aeva has always resented her father. she wished that he could show her love in a more normal way instead of the antics that he pulled. nevertheless, rhaerion was the first to pick up on the fact that his daughter was a dreamer and kind of explained that notion to her (not that he understood them himself per se). although, it is also safe to say that his forced isolation leads to her slips of sanity later on.

vivienne: of the two, aeva is the closest to vivienne. not only are the two quite similar personality wise, but her mother was the only one of her parents to provide aeva with the proper love and nurturement she needed. seeing as the two were often isolated from others together for sometimes years at a time, they had the chance to grow an undisputable bond. vivienne always went out of her way to understand her daughter in spite of her “oddities.” she played the role of mother, friend, confidant, or anything else whenever aeva needed it. there was never a time when she allowed her daughter to feel alone expect perhaps when she loses her life. their mother daughter bond is unlike any other (seriously some of the canon fams should take notes lol). nevertheless, i think it has always saddened her mother how similar the two with regards to the roles they have been given in life. all vivienne wanted was for her daughter to be happy, but seeing as she is her 2.0, she knows the odds will not be in her favor.

will lady vivienne have any children to interact with alicent’s?

hi anon! i have actually thought a lot about this possibility but didn’t actually make a solid decision on it until the most recent episode recap. in short, yes. vivienne will produce a child through her marriage with prince rhaerion, a daughter named aeva. she will take after her father physically but is more like her mother in every other way. i am not quite sure how she will interact with aegon and alicent’s other children, but i am playing on the idea that it will parallel that of vivienne’s relationship with most of her family (aka she’s just gonna be used and thrown away for political greed). to be honest, i think a lot of aeva’s plot line will mimic her mother’s, but i will have to see how things play out in hotd before i settle on any idea entirely. i have, however, settled on a future fc that you can get a peek at below. 👀

with your new graphics for vivienne, jaegor, and rhaerion, do you think you could give us some extra info on them? even if its just random fun facts im kinda obsessed with the dynamic there!!

hi there! thanks so much for your interest in my babies! i gave a little bit of insight on their respective relationships here. however, i will list a few other random details about them below:

similarly to daemon, jaegor was the town whore prior to falling for vivienne.

vivienne initially had a childhood crush on jaegor upon watching him at a tourney. rhaenyra and alicent teased her immensely over this.

rhaerion rarely showed interest in the prospect of marriage prior to him wanting to take vivienne for himself.

in spite of rhaerion arguably being a psycho, jaegor's public image is worse due to him both being a bastard and daemon's top supporter

vivenne was originally going to be a daemon ship but the more things played out the more i thought she should be parried with my other two ocs

one detail all three of them share is that they are probably the "least favorite child" to their respective parents

jaegor and rhaerion are both short tempered, but the former has a heart of gold deep down.

one of the biggest obstacles standing between jaegor and vivienne is their respective affiliations with their families (jaegor with daemon and rhaenyra vs vivienne with alicent and her children). had it not been for this, i think it would've been harder or rhaerion to step in.

while it is clear that vivienne eventually runs off with jaegor willingly, they attempt to frame him for abducting and manipulating her to be with him even though that is exactly what rhaerion ultimately does

rhaerion often clashed with his other targaryen relatives over his twisted nature

all of them meet tragic fates in one way or another 👀

ooh okay can you tell me the differences in vivienne's relationship with jaegor vs her marriage to rhaerion?

omg great question! i would say the biggest difference would be the sincerity of the relationships. one was love and the other was obsession.

with jaegor it was very much a slow burn that unraveled into an epic love story. it was all very genuine and driven by love. jaegor was always very patient with vivienne and waited until she was ready to return his feelings for real. vivienne had a crush on him from her youth but it took quite some time until she was ready to act on it. jaegor wasn’t exactly known for his patience but held back for her out of love and respect for vivienne. she became his bride in all but name as they were awaiting the blessing from her family. vivienne escaped to jaegor’s side due to them not being able to bear being away from each other. hence, the two of them suffered immensely upon not being able to actually be together (let’s all thank rhaerion for that lmao).

with regards to vivienne’s relationship with rhaerion i think it’s safe to say it was kind of toxic? while rhaerion claimed to have fallen for her at first sight, it wasn’t genuine love. rhaerion was obsessed with the idea of having someone like vivienne as his bride (she was gentle, much younger, highly sought after, valued by the people of court, etc.). more than anything, i think he was obsessed with being able to have someone that no one else could (ie the bragging rights and status bump). he was also driven by the jealousy he had towards his cousins daemon and jaegor and how women practically flocked to them. even though he claimed to have only acted out of love and the need to protect his beloved, he literally abducted vivienne from jaegor’s side when he couldn’t handle the fact that she had chosen a bastard over him. he also betrayed his sister’s stance by rhaenyra and joined the queen’s party just to make her relatives bless their union. vivienne had no choice in the matter and was even made to believe jaegor was dead so that she would be urged to give rhaerion a genuine chance. nevertheless, rhaerion never abused her per se in the literal sense of the word. on the contrary he acted as a doting husband and tried to buy her affections. however, it was arguably not genuine.
