I think I’m gonna stick with canon this time (edit from future-me who is done answering: this decision made this ask SO MUCH HARDER than it had to be, but I COMMITTED) - thank you so much for asking! Y’all ready to hear me say vibe some more?

End Game - Taylor Swift: Here it comes; the vibe doesn’t fit with anything of the top of my head, but some of the lyrics (only some) do! With Harper Deene x Miles Matheson. Those lyrics would be “you and me, we got big reputations, ah / And you heard about me, ooh / I got some big enemies” and “I hit you like bang, we tried to forget it, but we just couldn't / And I bury hatchets, but I keep maps of where I put 'em” and “And I can't let you go, your hand prints on my soul / It's like your eyes are liquor, it's like your body is gold”

Like a Virgin - Madonna: Same thing, lyrics minus the super pop-y, Madonna... everything. This is honestly a stretch, but I wanted to give something lol, so it’s Jula Andann x Tony Stark (from both perspectives). The lyrics being! “Yeah, you made me feel I've nothing to hide” and “When you hold me, and your heart beats, and you love me / Ooh, baby yeah / Can't you hear my heart beat for the very first time?”

Sweetener - Ariana Grande: sdfghjk I’m super cherry-picking again (also, like, taking all the sexual innuendo out of this because this is a teen ship and I’m saying a hard no there). So yeah, following my theme of “not really but sure” this is Bronwyn Bates x Sokka. “When life deals us cards / Make everything taste like it is salt / Then you come through like the sweetener you are / To bring the bitter taste to a halt”

Bad Guy - Billie Eilish ; Elsie Summers x unknown. I say unknown because I haven’t decided yet, but I know the dynamic would be similar in any respect with Elsie being the bad guy in the situation. Highlights! “I do what I want when I’m wanting to / My soul? So cynical” and “I like it when you take control / Even if you know that you don’t / Own me” and “I’m the bad guy, duh / I’m only good at bein’ bad”

Cool - Jonas Brothers ; Jula Andann x Tony Stark. The vibe, mostly, the feeling, the mood, you get me? But still, some very choppy highlights for both perspectives when things are going really good. “I’m feelin’ high like a late night summer of last year ” and “Must’ve done something right ‘cause all these / Lights are green, man, they look like palm trees / And every time that song comes on it’s about me” and “And now that we’ve made it, how complicated was last year”

Jula Andann: Firefly - BANNERS. More melody and vibe than lyrics, but I do have highlights here “Diamond skies flickering // Like fading fires still burning // Against it all // We'll keep on rising”

this most fits Gemini Taylor, one of my Riverdale OCs who, uh, was a Ghoulie and went to jail for murder for the gang dfghjk. if it was a smidge darker sounding, less, upbeat, it would be perfect. (Malachai really lets her down when she gets out lol)

this is a bit of a stretch, but it’s what I got. once again, I suppose, Rina Cameron (Outer Banks OC) is in the spotlight. definitely from the perspective of some fuckboy watching her at a party thought - and she’s here for it, she loves playing with people, loves being the centre of the attention. she’s so much smarter than anyone gives her credit for, and she’s ready to win at whatever she does

definitely a more lowkey, slightly angsty moment between Jula Andann and Tony Stark. not much else to say, really, cos none of the lyrics fit as well as I’d like, and it’s mostly how the song sounds anyway that makes me think of leaning on each other through PTSD nightmares
