lightning: who's the most impulsive character? and who is their impulse control?

oh man. probably thor or vugel? thor has No impulse control (very bad for everyone around him), vugel's impulse control is his mate, my friend ( @wolfoflyngvi )'s teostra oc, asmodeus.... though that's only Sometimes because vugel do as vugel please (unless asmo disapproves because vugel is the definition of a simp (would get very offended and launch into immediate Denial if you called him that) LMAO)

poison: vices/bad habits? what are they? how do they affect your OC?

for uriel: pretty soon after he came to stillwater, uriel took up the habit of smoking; being an angel, it doesn't TECHNICALLY affect him? but it does still make him more prone to agitation when he goes without smoking, even if it doesn't technically have any ill affect on his overall health

vul: stress-eating; due to her food anxiety, she has a tendency to eat when stressed, occasionally over-eating and making herself sick, and often indulging in mortal foods that don't actually have much (if any) nutritional value to her.

parachute: who does your OC(s) trust the most? who makes them feel safe? who would they do absolutely anything for?

uriel again bc brainrot lmao: with absolutely no contest, johnny gat; he would literally subject himself to the depths of hell (ironic innit?) for gat. johnny was the first mortal that uriel ever became close to and genuinely fond of, and through him he slowly learned to value SOME mortal life, and grew closer to other members of the saints as well---though johnny remains the one he's by far the closest to.

shang: oh man here's an oc i NEVER talk about LMFAO, my very first mh oc<3 shang is a surly, ill-tempered man who seldom trusts people, vastly preferring the company of monsters thanks to having been raised by one; the ONE person who makes him feel the most safe, that he trusts in absolute and would do anything for, is his fiancé, rhost, the admiral. despite his natural mistrust towards and aversion of hunters, he and rhost operate on nearly the same (extremely poor decision making) wavelength, with a fierce loyalty to and understanding of each other that few other people (monster or otherwise) could ever hope to have for either of them.

hobby: what do they love? what captivates them? what are their passions?

lokzii: lokzii adores gardening, cooking and making tea; though he typically assumes his mortal guise to purchase food ingredients from markets, he grows almost all of the herbal ingredients for his tea himself in a quaint, peaceful garden, nestled in a ruined courtyard that is bathed in the sapphire star's light every night. he also tends to various flowers and a few fruit-bearing plants as well.

the alatreon: here's an oc i haven't talked about here before! the alatreon's favourite hobby is... experimentation. given how it views most other beings as inferior to itself, it finds enjoyment in "experimenting" on them; this can range from simply intentionally setting up some sort of situation for one to fall into so to observe how it plays out, to testing what would happen if it injected raw dragon element directly into another being's bloodstream.

12: How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach?

iizthur: instead of doing anything rational, he just gets Salty about it LMAO, how dare it be in some place that he can't reach, absolutely Inconceivable smh

lokzii: like everyone Except Iizthur, if possible he'll find something to rub himself against to get rid of it, HOWEVER if that isn't an option he'll try his best to just Ignore It and wait for it to go away on its own, no matter how Loud it might be.... or just do the smart thing and ask another person to scratch it for him. somehow he is the Only One that thinks to do this

naas: if he can't rub himself against something to get rid of it (that likely only being in his human form, since i THINK a fatalis could reach every part of its own body somehow?? Think. i am not 100% on that), he'll probably rapidly get pissy over it, but he'd rather be pissy about it than ask someone else for help

vul: if she's not able to rub against something to get it to go away, she probably tries to make it go away via the supposed method of focusing Really Intensely on the itch to make it go away, with... mixed results™️. she somehow does not even think to just ask someone else to itch it for her. also i'm going to project onto her and say that if an itch is particularly bad if it DOESN'T get itched it'll actually cause muscle spasms, which she finds particularly annoying and undignified-looking

30: Who do they most regret meeting? 

iizthur: vul, absolutely no questions asked. bitch took his fucking eye!!!!! his whole shtick of conquering other monsters' territories and forcing them out to take for himself temporarily was going all fine and dandy until he met her and she not only refused to relinquish her territory but actively managed to beat him in every single confrontation they had. not only did she take his eye but she wounded his pride too and that's Unforgivable™️

lokzii: honestly? nobody, really (Yet). he's always been somewhat distant from others outside of his brother and his goddess, so he hasn't properly met anybody and known them well enough/long enough to consider himself genuinely regretting having met them.... though i'm sure that'll change soon<3

naas: do the Entire Ancient Civilizations count LMAO.... naas feels that if he had never been as fond of the ancient peoples as he was, and never intermingled so much and been so keen on not hurting them, even despite being a destroyer, that nothing of what happened to him would have happened---he wouldn't have gone to them in peace and thus given them the opening to capture him as he did; he would have been able to simply destroy them all without issue, and he would've never been captured and experimented on. humanity is, in his eyes, the five's greatest mistake

vul: there is TWO to this! iizthur, Obviously, but also another specific malzeno (a friend's oc<3) that's caused her no small amount of problems (see: spreading a vampiric plague and letting his qurio run rampant and then letting the blame get pinned on her bc she was the only other malzeno in the area at the time and, bc she prefers her true form and he was, at the time, in a human form, that led to assumption that it was her at fault) and emotional distress (see: literally fucking killing bahari at one point lmfao) and taken Extreme genuine glee in her distress

i would absolutely NOT get along with naas or iizthur nor would they get along with me; iizthur's a bitch, and i am a mortal which means naas would disdain me and be an asshole and i wouldn't like it ahdksjgk i DO think i would get along nicely with vul and lokzii though<3

vul and i would be able to have the 🤝 over The Tism and i think she'd greatly appreciate that i wouldn't be offput by how uncanny valley she is in her human form, nor would i react negatively to her in her true form (even though she would absolutely be incredibly intimidating), and lokzii is a very patient and laid back person, which i can vibe with and i think he'd vibe with me also being laid back; he would let me infodump about my hyperfixations and listen with genuine interest (and make us both some tea and a meal as well probably) and i would appreciate that So Much🥲

seriously there's like a 70% chance that when a monster rotates out he will replace it. or when i open the game and go to enter the gl he'll already be there. He Will Not Fucking Leave!!!!!!!!

lokzii: aside from the fact that i absolutely did not INTEND for him to be Depressed, he just kind of Decided that he Wanted To Be, Apparently (/lh), i think it's the fact that he's. FAR too patient and forgiving for his own good. while he can, obviously, be aggressive when need be---even if primordial malzeno are docile by nature, malzeno as a species still have latent, innate aggression and are Brutal when provoked---he tends to prefer to avoid fighting and conflict that isn't necessary, and can be. much more patient than he SHOULD be with others sometimes

naas; definitely his stubbornness and unwillingness to see other perspectives. to be Fair, that does absolutely stem from his trauma, but... Still. it's REALLY hard to get him to even be OPEN to an outside perspective; usually he'll just close off immediately and get defensive rather than listen

vul: i can't really think of anything off the top of my head for her honestly, maybe the fact that even when plainly presented with clear-cut evidence of gods existing (see: that one time when she Literally Met Xeno Face To Face) she just.... still Refuses to acknowledge or believe that deities exist. but tbh any "frustrating" things about her are just objectively really fucking funny so i can't even be mad about them bc girlie is just a hot mess of a dragon masquerading as being significantly more regal and well put together than she actually is LMAO

11 - In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?

vul: HOUGH this is a Very Good Question.... i think watching bahari go through the Resonance Event That She Refuses To Talk About; by that point she'd come to terms with her Fondness for him (and did absolutely nothing about it lmfao), so seeing someone that she'd come to like so strongly go through what he did, and being absolutely powerless (as far as she was concerned, anyways; she was too paranoid that going after the other elder dragon causing the resonance would somehow hurt bahari in the crossfire) to do Anything about it but watch him get worse and worse..... it was like the famine with her kingdom all over again, except this time the threat was significantly more tangible and something she COULD Theoretically deal with, just in a position where she felt powerless to do anything

peepaw the Better (lokzii): definitely when his father was afflicted with the qurio when lokzii was still practically a hatchling. his father killed his mother in a rage of bloodlust because of how far gone to the qurio he was; lokzii THOUGHT that he was going to kill he and his brother as well, though thankfully they were just forced out of the nest instead. granted, they were FAR too young to be on their own at the time and barely Managed to survive, only really through being entirely dependant on each other, but that was a... marginally kinder fate than dying at the hands of his father being puppeted by the qurio

peepaw the Worse (iizthur): iizthur definitely wouldn't admit to feeling fear at all, but i'd say that the encounter with vul where she took his eye out was probably the most afraid he's been. she had absolutely nothing left to lose anymore and she was. so, so, so fucking distressed that his taunting pushed her over the edge---if she was going to possibly go down, she sure as hell was gonna make sure that he went down too. he'd never seen her THAT intent on making sure he was dead, and never again HAS he seen her like That.

22 - What does your character like in other people?

vul: first and foremost, she likes when people aren't judgemental or offput by her... very uncanny manner of acting in her human form. she likes when people are confident, too, and when they show an interest in her, and when they don't mind her own fascination with them/whatever it is their particular occupation is. she likes to learn, and she appreciates when she's allowed to be the unsettling but ultimately harmless cryptid looming over someone's shoulder to see what they're doing<3

lokzii: as one might anticipate from a paladin, lokzii likes when people are kindhearted. kindhearted, giving, selfless, etc etc. of all my many ocs lokzii is the Only true lawful good one i can think of ahfjshfjgj

iizthur: he Doesn't LMFAO, unless it's some sort of trait he can exploit for his own gain somehow

33 - In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?

vul: oh god. criticism. lady "better than other malzeno" probably. does not like criticism very much LMAO, her superiority complex and confidence means she probably tends to become defensive, especially if it's unwarranted criticism and/or from someone she's not overly familiar with/close to---from someone she's more close to, she becomes Marginally more receptive to it, albeit with obvious reluctance

lokzii: lokzii... he's willing to improve to the best of his abilities when criticized, and probably generally takes it fairly well overall<3

iizthur: criticize him and simply Die about it. he is Perfect and Better Than Everyone Else he will hear absolutely nothing of the contrary because it's Obviously Wrong

and for thor, 40 - How does your character treat people in service jobs?

i will do this both for if he were In a service job and how he treats ppl who work those jobs;

IN a service job? horrible. awful. he Will murder someone god complex twink would absolutely NOT take anybody's shit

as for how he treats people who work the service jobs: he Likes mortals, so he's generally pretty nice to them<3 the absolute worse i think anybody would get from him is cutesy passive aggression, but he's generally just Cutesy Nice™️ to people and not rude

🌺 HIBISCUS - do they have any allergies?

vul: being a vampire, she's allergic to silver; it burns her skin/scales and, depending on the amount and purity of it, those burns can get Pretty Severe, especially if left unchecked. as such, she tries to avoid silver as best she can, and finds it particularly insulting that the malzeno light bowgun fires silver bullets</3

naas: honestly? Extremely Good Question. as a deity i dddddont THINK he does? but he may be somewhat sensitive to certain things, ie pollen, given he's not exactly too accustomed to them in the modern day

thor: none that he KNOWS of, yet, but there's probably Something out there and it's probably something stupidly specific like nickel metal or some Specific Type Of Plant ahfjsjfjg

🕷️ SPIDER - what is their biggest fear? do they have any irrational / mundane fears?

vul: losing the people she cares about again, by far. her kingdom's fall to famine hit her hard, and she never really fully recovered from it even if she'd like to pretend she has; she's scared of frightening people she doesn't want to scare, yes, but even moreso she's terrified of losing the people she's come to be close to

naas: being captured and experimented on again. he goes to. quite a bit of lengths to prevent any """potential""" of that happening, even to the point of total irrationality such as avoiding almost ANY form of settlement no matter how small and being extremely mistrusting of most forms of technology. being forgotten entirely is another, albeit slightly lesser one, since he's aware that his name was basically scrubbed from legend by the ancients and very few people in the modern day know who he is at All, but he desperately clings onto the fact that SOME people still do; it's why he constantly, aggressively reasserts that he is a deity, that he is the sun god, etc.

thor: he knows VERY little rational/practical fear, given how powerful narwa are, so i think his main fear would probably be something incredibly nonpractical, like his natural beauty being "ruined" somehow. ie, if he were to Hypothetically Get Mauled and left with a large amount of scars; he'd be extremely scared that it would make him less attractive.............

🤥 LYING - are they good liars? do they have tells to show they're lying?

vul: yes And no? she IS until she's Not. given how nonexpressive she is (that's a Commonly Occurring Thing wifh my ocs huh), it CAN be difficult to get a read on her, but she tends to feel bad about lying to people she likes or has some sort of positive opinion on, and so she'll often seem more uncertain with her wording when lying to them.

naas: for the most part, he Is. like vul, he is Extremely nonexpressive, albeit to a far greater extent than she is, and he has very little issue with lying to people, so telling can be pretty difficult. when in doubt just ask another member of the five! they'd likely be more than happy to rat him out lmfao

thor: arguably the best liar of these three. congrats you chose three of my ocs that are good liars you get a bingo gold star AHDJTJ

mansplain manwhore manipulate! thor has the art of lying (and gaslighting, and guilt tripping, and So Many Other Things.....) down to a science, and he enjoys exploiting that for his own gain, be it idle amusement or actual advantage/gain... usually just idle amusement, though. he IS, however, much worse at lying to people he actually, genuinely likes; not insothat he's any less good at being convincing, per se, but moreso because he feels bad about it (shocking, right?) and will usually backtrack on himself or come clean about lying, instead. Sometimes he can be nice! he just has to actually Like You<3
