“Uh, wait.” The boy says as Zuko is just beside him and when Zuko does, when he turns and waits, the boy is now so close and he has to take a step back from him. Zuko doesn’t notice how the boy smells somehow warm and also like the beach.

“Yes?” He asks.

“Sokka.”

Zuko is confused. He makes another noise, this one a distinct “huh?” and the boy laughs to himself.

“My name's Sokka. I think we have English together?” Zuko wants to ask what this is about, but then he supposes that the boy is trying to be nice. Make friends.
