I'd be glad to help!

Ginglymostoma cirratum or Nurse Sharks are usually found in shallow water and are nocturnal predators. They usually stick to the on the floor of coral reefs and coastal shelves. They usually eat lobsters, small stingrays, sea urchins, fish, and more!

The two little whisker looking things by the mouth are known as barbels- they're sensory organs that the shark use to sense the prey that are usually hiding in the sand. They also have really strong jaws used to crush the clam shells of their prey! They're fairly docile, which leads to people underestimating them. But like all wild animals, they're unpredictable. They've been known to sometimes bite people who interact with them in the wild.

These sharks are ovoviviparous, meaning they give birth to live baby sharks instead of laying eggs. They're born only about 0.3 m (a foot) long, but eventually grow to be around 4.3 m (14 ft) long as adults!

i had a dream last night that I was suddenly able to breathe underwater and the first thing I did with this information was to find a heap of sleeping nurse sharks and join them in the cuddle pile. because this was a good dream they all instantly accepted me as one of their own. and in the dream world I snuggled into that shark heap and got so so cozy. when I woke up I was distraught to find that I was not, in fact, neck-deep in sleeping sharks. and they were smooth

I went swimming with sharks for my bday >:3

Nurse sharks are so silly 🩵

it was really fun, I learned a couple stuff too.

you can’t touch them since the oils and bacteria on your hands can give them diseases

you’re able to swim with sharks on your period (figured this out myself:D) though I think it’s better for when you aren’t on your period.

nurse sharks are bottom feeders and their mouths are small despite how big they are

and that’s all I gotta say!!

Hello!! yes!! here you go my friend!!

The Thresher Shark is also known as the Alopias Vulpinus or Fox Shark. Its name comes from the sharks unusually large tail (caudal fin), which is in most cases, as long as the shark itself.

These are very athletic sharks. They are known for slaying their prey with their huge tails and are famous for special jumping techniques and behavior called “breaching” where they jump out of the water and into the air.

Nurse Sharks spend their lives around coral reefs and coastal shelves, and most of their hunting takes place right on the ocean floor, where these slow-moving carnivores look for prey in or near the sand. Instead of swimming, they sometimes use their pectoral fins to “walk” across the bottom.

Shark snuggle parties are a thing. By day, the nocturnal nurse shark becomes inactive; for hours on end, it just lies around and pumps water over its gills. Crevices, ledges, and piles of boulders are popular downtime locations for this species. Although the sharks don't socialize on hunting trips, they often recline en masse. Nurse sharks are known to rest communally, with groups of two to 40 individuals piling up on top of each other.
