Have a DJ SS X Neon J fankid

His name is Neptune.

A friend actually gave a good suggestion oh how he was made.

Neon J made a robotic body for their child while DJ SS created the soul. Once finished they were combined, and ✨voila✨ little Neptune came into the world!

He sort of obtained DJ SS’s ego, so he likes to talk big about himself a lot, but when he was a little kid he was the sweetest little boy you’d ever meet!

love how the Eriverse is slowly becoming a thing separate from its fandoms that was taken in/gen (eg: parent OCs, different backgrounds for characters, general lore focusing on powers as much as it focuses on music)

The parent OCs thing would have happened either way lol. I love making character designs so making parents is just something I always end up doing (I prefer making parent designs than fankid or fusion designs I realized, though those can be fun as well).

But yea, I like trying to make the backstories work in different contexts. Like the overall story beats I try to keep in there with the details being different (this can be seen also in my just NSR AUs a lot of the time, as I try to keep things similar enough).

Though I do have to sometimes morph things a LOT. Like one thing I think of is Noir's family and how they are all alive. Not EVERY spider character is gonna have dead parents and taken in by an aunt/uncle. Most DO, but it wouldn't be that realistic if each and every character had the same backstory in the Eriverse (it makes sense for Spiderverse though!)

I'm rambling and tired lol, but I'm glad you like my ideas and how I've been trying to make a whole story with cobbled together medias! I honestly wonder if one day I'm gonna do that thing where I just cut ties with all the media and make my own OCverse type of thing.

I honestly doubt I will because even with my most weird/out there AUs, I can barely disconnect them from the source material. So no worries about that lol!
