he looked like a wounded puppy at your assertion. "how can i protect you if i'm not in the same bed as you?" sonic asked, tilting his head in what you found to be a nearly irresistibly cute manner.

"you're not my familiar yet! don't take this too fast," you told him, pushing his hand that gripped around your waist protectively.

"but i've been doing everything you asked," he rebutted, before a grin popped up on his lips, an optimism unparalleled shining from within him, "haha, you wanna keep playing this game? fine, i won't give up! i won't give up until you let me be yours!"

in which sonic, who is madly in love and obsessed with you, a witch, pursues you relentlessly in hopes of entering the familiar-witch contract with you!

I very much doubt that this needs to be said as anybody that follows us is likely already aware, but because we've got an anti trying to label us as dangerous child predators in the notes of one of our boards I guess it bears repeating.

The things which we find interesting in fiction are not things we wish would happen in real life.

Here is a great example: I play farming games but in real life I despise doing yard work. You might think that I would love to do yard work if I play farming games, but sitting at my computer is much less laborious and a lot more fun than doing actual farming. Amazing how that works, isn't it?

just a question cause im a singlet, what are modifiers, subsys and layers?

Modifiers are things like "Fictive", "Introject", "Brainmade", "Fragment" or anything else that describes a specific alter Subsystems are parts of the system that are separate in some way from the rest of the system, often times its used for whenever an alter has a ton of their own splits off themself

Layers are different groupings of alters within systems, especially whenever that person has an excess of them!

Also YES I love solkat in EVERY quadrant and ALL quadrants and I think they should vacillate and flip like no one’s business. They’re SUCH a good match that way — Sollux can’t keep it in one (duality!) as shown by his vacillating Gamzee crush in the showdown moment, and Karkat obviously has quad bleed for days. Also their canon (imo) kinks are compatible. Karkat has a pretty obvious selfcest and exhibitionism/voyeurism thing happening, and Sollux duality Captor would be SO into that.

There's so many ways to interpret the duality (wink wink) of their relationship. Canoncally, they're always shown to pitch flirt, but their "kismessitudine" is so different from every other pitch relationship present in the comic. People says that there's "no healthy pitch relationship outside the almost-canon solkat", but I'd argue that SOLKAT's kismessitude was just shitty (in trolls' standard).

They care too much for each other, in a way that's impossible for them to be pitch mates, BUT it might be too embarrassing for them to be moirails (since it's implicit they were friends for a long time, and also their personality isn't the most welcoming when it comes to talking about feelings) + there IS a sexual attraction between those two, something that is so off for a moiraleggiance.

Basically what I'm saying is: they flirt like kismesis, they care about each other like moirails but have a sexual attraction that COULD be similar to matesprits (since they would have a shitty kismessitudine). AND, if you count the paradox space comics, THEY WERE ALSO IN A ASHEN RELATIONSHIP WITH NEPETA! ALL OF THIS WHILE BEING "BEST FRIENDS" EXPLICITLY!

There's no other versatile couple in all hs like them, I love them so so SO much.

Shadow usually takes you for late night walks at 1 or 2am everytime you look sad. He'd take you on highways, abandoned parks, sketchy streets and foggy hills and it would still feel like the safest place in the world as you walk with him in comfortable silence. "don't apologize. i brought you out here to clear your head, and that's exactly what you're doing," shadow drawls, his voice as soft as the billows of fog rolling around your ankles, "keep crying, dewdrops." and you can see the faintest of smiles on his lips as he gently teases you, that nickname of his bursting forth more tears because it simply felt so comforting to hear him say it.
