"To all my fans, today was a very special day for me. For years, I struggled to accept a part of myself…But now, after all I have been through, I finally have the courage to open up to you about something. I am a gay man.

It has taken me a long time to be able to say I am gay. I could not even say it to myself. However, I’ve come to realize it is better, both for me, and for the people I care about, including my fans, to live life authentically than to live a life never accepting who I truly am. I hope people who are struggling with the same feeling will find courage and know they are not alone.

I held this event today because I wanted to tell as many of you as possible directly. For those unable to attend I will be posting my full speech on my website tomorrow so you can hear the news in my own words. The link is in my bio (English subtitles available).

When I think of my work in the entertainment industry and the many things for which I am grateful, it is my relationship with my fans that first comes to mind. I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for standing beside me over the years. I’d also like to thank my family, friends, staff members and my fellow AAA members for providing me their full support throughout this process.

Daily Music Recs 2023: Day #17

AAA - 愛してるのに、愛せない (Aishiteru no ni, Aisenai // I Love You, But I Can’t Love You)

This song singlehandedly dragged me back into J-Pop after a 15-year hiatus, and I’m so happy that I got to discover AAA as a result. I really like some of their songs, so you’ll probably be seeing a lot of them in the next few weeks.

In my opinion,  愛してるのに、愛せない is AAA’s best song. It’s decently popular, but I think it’s a shame that it isn’t even more popular.

Also, Nissy’s part in the bridge deserves an award all by itself.

Nishi from Seihantaina Kimi to Boku (You and I are polar opposites)

Read the series. It’s underrated and full of funny and adorable moments. All the characters are funny, precious, and relatable it’s a must read!

Summary of what it is about:

Miyu Suzuki and Yusuke Tani are two high school students who are polar opposites of each other - Suzuki is an energetic and outgoing girl who tends to follow the crowd, even when she doesn't feel like doing so, while Tani is a quiet and introverted boy who bluntly speaks his mind. Because of this, Suzuki has grown to have a crush on Tani, but is unable to really make her feelings known to him. The series follows Suzuki and Tani in their developing relationship, as well as their friends' own issues.

Been loving this manga recently. I believe Nishi is my spirit animal. She’s so adorable and I relate to her tenfold!

This is practice, as I tested out a few techniques and I have to say I’m really proud of it despite it being practice.

This drawing took 4 hours. Fastest i’ve drawn so far! I drew it all in a day!

2023.02.16 東京旅行三日目Part1 東蛋排週邊。😎💋 一早的早餐是在唐吉訶德買的草莓歐蕾跟超大甜甜圈。(這好吃耶！🥰💖) 大約在日本時間早上7點半去東蛋，看前面已經至少有100人以上，然後開始漫長的等待，當中有很想上廁所的時侯，還好後頭的 本粉絲人不錯幫我顧位子還幫我顧東西。😊🧡 早到因為冷到快邊凍乾了，發現溫度才3度真的是冷到滑手機都不行了，(雖然當中太陽有照射一下，但是還是冷)然後看到現場賣週邊的Staff集合還有組等身大的立牌。😆😆 等到差不多10點半左右，開始起身動了，沒想到我開始冷到發抖了，這時真的後悔沒帶2nd的毯子了，拿到購入券到買週邊我都還在發抖的狀態。😓😓 到離開才舒服一點，開心買到棉花糖皮皮，本來還想買CD拿限定IC卡貼紙的但是還是算了，就看看然後也看看NEP攤位，哈哈沒有機會當介紹人帶人入會不然就有皮皮的介紹限定卡片拿了。😅😅 #Nissy #にっしー #西島隆弘 #Lippy #リッピー #皮皮 #NEP #Nsy #NissyEntertainment #NissyEntertainment4thlive #東京ドーム #東京旅 #東京旅行3日目 #時間差投稿 https://www.instagram.com/p/CpZHiwkB1-f/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
