The Animorphs fandom is really chill, which is nice. But there's one post about the reprint covers and whenever anyone tries to explain that Scholastic was trying to appeal to contemporary kids/visual branding/the covers weren't that bad, a dude is just freaking out over and over with the most bad faith/cherry picking arguments, and I think he thinks he's "owning" everybody, but it has gone from annoying to just plain funny that he's got his head so far up his ass.

Thinking it was just Tom, he gets back into his role and walks right up to the king... somehow... and tells him that he can slay the horrible giant for a fee. After failing to listen to King Matt, Tord readies to slay the beast. Tho instead of being greeted by Tom, he comes face-to-face with Edd. A giant.

And then Tord is like, yes, shit, this is an Actual Giant, not Tom at all. He tries to hold face, but Edd can see that he's dressed like a slayer and gets all threatening and growly and violent. Tord freaks out, then, but is too slow to run from Edd and subsequently gets caught

Happy tdov to fat trans people. 🏳️‍⚧️ Biggest thing that helped me as a trans kid was seeing older fat trans people. There were a lot of really irritating "advice" posts going around early in my time on the internet with a lot of misinformation in them, but one that I constantly saw (in addition to people claiming you should wear your pants rediculously low or only wear button ups) were posts saying you had to lose weight to transition. Can confidently confirm that is completely untrue. 👍

Danny was a stillborn, and Maddie made a deal with a Devil to give her baby a soul so he could live.

But the Devil couldn't really like, make a wholeass new soul for this. He could grab one of the ones he owned, but that'd just be putting an adult in an infants body, and that whole thought kind of weirded the Devil out.

So, he compromised.

He had a piece of the Laughing Magicians soul, and he just kinda.

Shoved that into the baby corpse.

And holy shit it worked, the kid took it.

Which, awesome! He gets the lady's soul and the kids when it's matured!

Except that was fifteen years ago, and now said Devil is desperately trying to get into contact with Constantine to cancel the deal they signed and agreed to.

Cuz that little baby?

Yeah he's the High King of the fucking Infinite Realms; a being that can not only cancel said contract, but do it and declare the Devil who made it guilty of Treason.

So he needs to find the Laughing Magician fucking yesterday, before the kid looks too closely at why his soul is so weird and figures it out.
