Disney Television Animation will be presenting their first slate of content for their 40th Anniversary and 100th Series debut on 2024 as well their 2025 lineup.

Tuesday, June 13 “Learning the Ropes: A Guide to Creating the Next Big Disney Hit" features series creators discussing what goes into the making of a global hit animated series for kids and families. The panel will feature a first look to the upcoming Disney Television Animation comedy series “PRIMOS” created by Natasha Kline slated to debut on Fall 2023 on Disney Channel.

A promo video posted on 20 December shows he's at home, apparently he recorded the same day HSC with Josh H who posts a clip announcing him the next day.

As it seems he spends Christmas at home with family

Despite a fan pic from London posted on 28 December which is clearly posted later on, as he posts a snowman in his garden on 30 December proven to be RT as it was snowing that day in Glasgow.

The same day (30 December) he's seen at the airport in Glasgow, most likely to pick up Marina, who later on posts a reel from her trip to Scotland showing Sam in a pic that matches her stories from 31 December and thus adds up to the assumption she spent NYE at his place

On 3 January Davie posts a pic showing him and Sam in Sam's kitchen. The next day on 4 January a fan spotted him on shuttle boat in London.

On 6 January his hair dresser Charley M posts a story showing Sam had a hair cut at Four, London. The same day we learn about a tweet saying he was seen 2 days in a row in London and after some convo's we got another pic from someone spotting him on 4 January and spoke to him on 5 January.

On 9 January he posts a video running in Scotland near his house in the FB MPC group and the next day on IG (but deleted it later on), announcing a Live IG on Friday 12 January.

On 13 January he posts a video with Valbo working out and mentioning the live IG 'yesterday', so posted RT.

Because of a tweet we learn that he flew on 14 January to Gran Canaria. Another live IG is announced for 16 January and indeed doesn't come from his home, but from a villa in Gran Canaria where it turns out he is not staying alone, even though some seem to question this.

On Friday 19 January he was on an early flight and posted later on from Kitzbuhel, where he stayed the weekend at the Aros Hotel as an Audi ambassador

And enjoyed some skiing after the weekend. After a boxing session on 24 January he apparently went to Munich to watch a football match which he posts about later on though the match was on 24 January in the evening

On 27 January he's at a dinner with Eleanor and Dries at the restaurant Willem Hiele in Oostende

The next day, 28 January he unveils the Star together with Eleanor at the Walk of Fame, the RC for the screening and Q&A, some BTS and an afterparty for fans and vips (though separated) Please see my archive for much more footage

On 31 January he posts a story showing Paris, though later on that same day another story is posted showing him skiing.

On 2 February he posts a picture and tags a producer he met in LA the day before. It's food for debate whether the Paris and ski story were latergrams or not. Hours later on Alex posts another pic in LA, which has a comment of someone they met that day. A picture of that meeting was reposted by S in his stories early Sunday morning (LA time) 4 February.

On 5 February the casting for BOMB is announced by Starz

On 7 February Sam posts a picture with the famous photographer Andy Gotts, he met him in Beverly Hills. While it first looks not to be a photoshoot but just that one selfie later on more photo's were posted from that day. The same day he walked and recorded a video with AN at Runyon Canyon which was posted the next day in the MPC FB group

On 9 February a polaroid was posted by a photographer he followed the night before after doing a photoshoot at the Chamberlain Hotel, West Hollywood for Nobleman Magazine

On 10 February he posts a video driving a motorbike at Huntington Beach apparently recorded on his way to the Ramona Gym with Nic R posted the next day.

While it looks like he left LA, no confirmation of his whereabouts are posted before 22 February being in Sydney, where he was spotted as well by a fan visiting an event at Bondi Beach on 22 February

23 February he's bridge climbing with the rest of the gang, spotted by fans and in the evening spotted for the M&G

24 February the first day of the Hublander con takes place in Sydney. Many pics and videos, see my archive for more. Robert Licuria is there to interview Sam

25 February Day 2 of Hublander in Melbourne. Many pics and other footage is posted and some reports as well. See my archive for more

26 February the gang was invited to visit and meet some animals with a zoologist, it turns out Sam did not attend but left Melbourne by Tuesday 27 and according to information flew home on Wednesday 28 most likely posting his Australian dump on a stop over

Check out these awesome graphic novels reader's advisor Ashley has been picking up for Black History Month!

Read: Kindred by Octavia Butler, adapted by Damian Duffy

This graphic novel was adapted from the book Kindred by Octavia Butler. This story more recently has also been made into a TV series for Hulu. In this twisted tale, Dana is living in the 1970s when she begins having dizzy spells shake her to the core. These dizzy spells lead to her waking up in the 1800s helping a boy who she refers to as “Rufe.” While Dana is not sure what brings these spells on at first, she has an even harder time time trying to figure out how to make it stop.

Ms. Davis: A Graphic Biography by Sybille Titeux de la Croix, art by Amazing Ameziane

The story of Angela Davis is filled with resistance and unwillingness to accept unfair treatment and judgment. She is infamous for being a part of the FBI's Most Wanted List in 1971 due to an incident that occurred where she was accused as the main conspirator.

Reading her story as a graphic novel does not take away the seriousness of her story. I appreciate that the book provides explanations of key events; that is helpful if you are only hearing about some of the events for the first time, as I was. This book was a random find but it sent me down a research hole that made me want to learn more, and that is what any good book does.

Reading: Miles Davis and the Search for the Sound by Dave Chisholm

Miles Davis was an extremely talented musician. He thought outside of the box when it came to his music, so it is fitting that this graphic novel tells his story in an eclectic way.

The story begins as Miles has just gotten a piece of life-altering news in 1982. From there, he reminisces and begins telling his origin story. The artwork and illustrations of this graphic novel are beautiful. The colors truly jump off the page and speak to you, as clear as the words do. The funky art and the insight of Miles' fascinating yet tumultuous life make this book a true learning experience that explores the cool world of jazz and many of its legends.

To-Read: Toussaint Louverture: The Story of the Only Successful Slave Revolt in History by C.L.R. James, adapted by Nic Watts and Sakina Karimjee

This graphic novel details the Haitian Revolution led by Toussaint Louverture. This graphic novel is based on the play by C.L.R. James, produced in 1936. If you love history, and revolutions, this graphic novel my pique your interest.

Chapter 1

A sly grin took over Nick’s lips as he heard the good news from his lawyer. “Great! Thank you, Josh”. As the lawyer left the room, Nick tapped her number on the screen of his phone, and by the fourth ring, she answered.

“Hello?” Her voice sounded confused as to whom it might be.

“Pepper” For some reason her name fell out of Nick’s lips so effortlessly and smoothly that he couldn’t hold back his smile “How does a dinner to settle up your first job sounds to you?”

Pepper groaned internally, her plans for tonight summed up in Netflix, junk food, comfy clothes, and whipped cream in a can for dessert. The last thing she wanted was to put on any effort in her appearance whatsoever, but seducing Nick in order to get information was Matt’s plan so getting dolled up is - unfortunately - all in a day’s work.

“Of course, sir. Where should I meet you?”

“I’ll send a driver to pick you up, don’t worry. He’ll be there in two hours”

She could feel it ever since they passed by the front door, Pepper could feel everyone staring at them. Staff, clients, bypassers..no one seemed to be able to keep their eyes off of her and Nick. The staring was so unsettling that Pepper was sure that even the silverware was silently judging her as they sat at the table. It was nerve-wracking, all of these countless people staring, gawking at you as if you were some kind of zoo animal. Even though she couldn’t pick up on what they were saying, she could see their lips moving, silently gossiping as to who she was and more importantly: why she was there with him. Matt had told her about Nick’s antics when it came to his personal life, “He never took any woman any place, he was never seen with a partner - like ever. No one knows even if he ever had a girlfriend! As far as we all know, he could still be a virgin” Matt said while chuckling. It was their last night together and he wanted to give Pepper as much personal information about his brother as he could - well, at least as much as he knew about the blue-eyed man.

“And you expect me to seduce a guy who’s either gay or too problematic to have some kind of a relationship with anyone? Jesus, Matt” She huffed, wrapping the bedsheets around her body as she stood up from the bed to stare out the window, into the late-night sky. “Why don’t you send me to kill the Pope? I bet I would be more successful at that”.

Matt grinned behind her, following her previous footsteps out of the bed and to the front of the large windows. His arms circled around her shoulders, pulling her back against his body, attempting to bring back some of the warmth her skin had lost due to the chilly night breeze. “Look” He starts “I know it sounds crazy, but trust me when I say, if there’s anyone who can do this that’s you, dove. I can guarantee you Nick’s not gay” Matt chuckles, lips resting below her ear, peppering small kisses on her weak spot, “Nick craves affection, he always had, ever since we were younger. He always wanted to be someone’s world, someone’s center of attention. He just wants to feel loved unconditionally and feel special. And if there’s someone who can do this, that’s you, dovey. You can make anyone feel special”.

“Ignore them” Nick’s voice stated, bringing her back to the present. “In a couple of days, someone’s husband will be caught cheating for God knows how many times now, and this dinner will stop being the hottest gossip in town”.

Pepper nodded twice, it was still hard to understand how anyone could be so relaxed while being ogled like the main attraction of a freak show. The waiter beside them moved swiftly, his delicate and precise movements never faltered beneath Nick’s attentive eyes, the crystal glasses being rapidly yet elegantly filled with the - undoubtedly expensive - ruby liquid.

“You can leave the bottle, Carlo” Nick says, giving a polite smile at the young waiter.

“Sì, signore. Would you like me to take your orders now, sir?”

“No, thank you”

“Could I bring you our new selections of appetizers then, sir?”

“Sure, why not?” Nick smiles once again, taking the crystal glass before him and swirling the red wine inside the glass.

Nick brings the scarlet liquid up to his nostrils to inhale the sweet scent, “The aroma is distinct” He began “Black leather, spice, red flowers, and a hint of moss. The bouquet shows signs of buttermilk, mushroom, and sourdough. The tertiary aromas from aging are caramel, butterscotch, allspice, and walnut. And the palate” Nick stopped mid-sentence to take a small sip of the cherry liquid, he let the wine travel across his taste buds, swirl around his cheeks, and take its path softly down his throat. “Tangy to tart acidity, medium tannin, full-bodied” Nick refocused his gaze on Pepper, the intense blue stare was making her slightly uncomfortable, like being under a severe teacher’s gaze. “My guess is: Brunello Riserva Greppo 1975. € 531,19 a bottle” He spoke with utter confidence.

The waiter softly clapped in satisfaction “Bravo, Signore Jackson! Another successful guess!” The young man praised “Would you like me to bring you the appetizers now, sir?”

“Yes, thank you, Carlo. And send my warm regards to your mother, I hope she’s enjoying the new nursing home”

“Yes, she is, sir. All thanks to you” The young man slightly bowed to excuse himself “I’ll bring your appetizers in a minute”.

Pepper might be astonished by what just happened, but she’s not stupid. This little show Nick had just given her was a somewhat polite way to demonstrate his power, an *I just pissed in this loin because it belongs to me, so what are you going to do about that?* if you will. She has never felt so powerless as she does right now, she is lost, uncertain of herself and this stupid plan, and even worse: scared. She could feel the fear of being caught running through her veins, the ultimate fright at the thought of Nick being able to see through her shitty façade. As desperation sinks in, she speaks the only thing that doesn’t seem to get out of her head:

“You sure know a lot about wine for a guy whose family is against alcohol”

And then, just like that, he laughed. Laughed a scandalous, loud, attention-calling laugh.

“Oh, my angel, trust me. I am nothing like my family”. Nick winked, seconds before the waiter came back with the appetizers.

“Do you know all of your staff by their first name?” Pepper asks, curiosity lacing her every word.

“Yes,” Nick simply answered, stopping at the red light and turning up the a/c in the car.

During dinner, they did exactly what Nick told her they would do: discuss business. Pepper was at least intrigued, a part of her wished he had flirted, even if just a bit. But he never did, apart from calling her ‘my angel’ a handful of times, Nick never made any move to turn the dinner into a less professional course. The fact alone was curious, Pepper knew her strengths and made incredible use of them to meet Nick for this dinner, she made full use of her bodily assets: her silhouette was heavily marked by the tight navy blue executive dress, full hips on display, plump ass cheeks framed by the sturdy fabric, hair pulled back into a low bun to expose her soft neck, full lips painted a crimson color. All the things that made most men, including Matt, kneel at her feet seemed to be ineffective on Nick. And a deep part of Pepper, a part she swore would never come to the surface again, gave signs of reappearing, and she hated it. Rejection, an old yet very known friend, made Pepper shift in the passenger’ seat of Nick’s car.

“Are you gay?” She suddenly asks, quickly covering her mouth once she realizes the mistake she had made “I’m sorry, Mr. Jac-”

“No, I’m not,” Nick chuckled, looking to his right to look at Pepper’s face. The red light cast a faint shadow on Nick’s face, making his toothy grin become slightly psychopathic. “Why? Did you think I was?”

Pepper shrugged, still feeling completely embarrassed by her last question “I don’t know, I was just…wondering”

The light turned green and Nick put the car into first gear, pushing the clutch pedal to the floor, he turned left, opting for taking the longest way to the lofts reserved for the staff.

“You sound disappointed” He teases, giggling when she visibly shifts uncomfortably on the leather seat.

“No. Why should I?” She mumbled, deciding to focus her attention on the bypassers and full, green trees.

“I don’t know, perhaps because you put so much effort into your appearance in the hopes of getting at least a compliment tonight that when you got nothing in return you felt lost”, Nick stated nonchalantly. The accurate description of Pepper’s feelings instantly put her in defensive mode.

“Maybe, or maybe I was just disappointed that the oh-so-desired mob boss is actually a pussy, because he can’t even hit on a woman”

“Is that what you wanted? For me to hit on you?” Nick scoffed

“Yes!”

“So I’m a pussy because I respected you as my employee, is that what you just said to me?” He huffed, “Un-fucking-beliavable! Don’t respect them and they charge you for sexual assault, do respect them and they call you a pussy. I honestly don’t know what’s wrong with women''

“Perhaps if you spent more time between a woman’s legs you’d find out” Pepper spat. This is dumb, dangerous, and incredibly out of hand, she’s highly aware of that. But there’s something about the younger Jackson that was driving her insane. It’s a silent appeal that worked on her like the finest black magic, and it was only becoming worse as time went by.

*Jesus Christ, you’re barely a week into this mess of a plan and you’re already doing stupid shit! You never learn, Pepper* She thought to herself, her restless mind only being stopped by Nick’s next words.

“It definitely wouldn’t be between your legs, angel. That sour pussy might make my dick fall off”.

Then she felt it, stinging inside of her, like a punctured needle. Making the old battle wound bleed again, staining her heart and mind with the ugly memories of a past she never wished to relive again, but that somehow reached the top of the surface like a swimmer fighting for air. “Fuck you, Nicholas!”

“I’d say you’re the one who’s desperate for it, my angel. Not me”.

“You think you’re so special, don’t you?” Pepper snarled, shifting in her seat once again, she turned her body to the side enough so that she could stare at him, and damn is the bastard handsome.

“I must be for you to have applied for this job just for a chance to fuck me” Nick abruptly stopped the car mid-street, the deserted avenue being the audience for what Pepper was sure would be the faster resignation in history. “What’s your game?” Nick turns around in the driver’s seat, body completely turned to face Pepper, “Why did you apply for this job? What are you hiding?”

Desperation is too much of a soft word to describe what Pepper is feeling right now, this was it, this was going to be her end. Nick would be the last face she would see before being killed and dumped in a random alley, this is where everything will end if she doesn’t do something right now.

“I’m in love with you” Pepper whispered the only words her brain was capable of coming up with in the midst of fear and agony. At the end of the day, this is what everyone wants, no? To be loved? Wasn’t this what Matt said about Nick, that he wanted someone to love him?

And then again, for the second time that night, Nick laughed.
