a/n: the prompts for this were so lovely so i just had to go all out + the chance to use the cuteass endearment i’ve been seeing in other viktor fics hELLO it apparently means little sun? so i felt it was very fitting!! i’m kinda proud of the result ngl so i hope you enjoy even if it took a bit long 🥺💛 thank you for reading, i appreciate you and all your interactions!! my asks are always open for requests and stuff~

The morning sun greets eyes of the same hue, painting the room in golden stripes. The light catches on tools and pens strewn across a desk blanketed in blueprint. It would be a more glaring reminder of the work to be completed for the day, if not for the faint breeze wafting from the window and making the prospect of a lazy summer's day so inviting.

Summer's in full bloom indeed, but it's none of these things that makes Viktor so sure.

No, that honor goes to the body laying beside him in bed, legs entangled and bare skin flush against his.

"How deep is your love, solnyshka?"

Your head rises from its resting place on Viktor's chest, making him pause from running his fingers through your hair. "Are you doubting me, my dear?" you ask—not before gasping dramatically and making a show of it, of course.

"Never!" Your eyebrows raise in challenge at that, but Viktor only chuckles at how cute you look. "I'm a scientist. I simply mean to learn."

"Well, Mr. Scientist," you huff a little, as you prop yourself up on your elbows. "Aren't you familiar with the subject matter already?"

Have I not shown you enough? You don't say it out loud, but Viktor hears it anyway. He recognizes the hint of uncertainty trailing off your tone, catches the extra second you cast your glance down while adjusting your position.

(Not to mention he's no stranger to the thought himself, but that conversation's for another day.)

So in the way he knows best, he reassures you, "Why don't you test me then?"

Viktor watches your stare morph from one of playful disbelief, to experimental excitement (you definitely got that from him), to pure, unadulterated love, and that ball of golden warmth in the sky is all but forgotten—replaced by your lips beginning the softest exploration known to man.

You lean down and spoil him with butterfly kisses on his eyelids, nose, cheeks, lingering when you reach his mouth. "Enough?" you whisper.

With you looking at him like that, Viktor almost forgets to speak, but your test is an easy one. He hums. "Deeper."

You beam.

Hell, you're his sun. The light that pours into the deepest, darkest crevices of his soul—and his neck and collarbones now—is yours and nobody else's. He can't look right at you without it hurting a little, without something hitting hard and bright in his chest until it's hard to breathe—you kiss him there too, naturally—like he can't quite believe why you came to him and never left. It's why he's asked you as much.

Your lips reach his stomach, your fingers dancing along his sides, and his hips rise at the slightest. "Deeper," he blurts out. A kiss to his hipbone and lingering breath, just a little more... "(Y/N), please—"

"See, you didn't even need a test!"

Viktor stifles a groan, while you fail to stifle a bubble of laughter. His eyes shoot open, though he doesn't even remember closing them in the first place, to you coyly crawling back up his body. You shower his face in more apologetic kisses, though he can't even be mad.

He'll just have to ask for a refresher later.

THEN it clicked. sorry if it feels a little similar to spoopenteen, my mind just kinda went down this path and i thought it was cute. it seems to be that i keep on giving joshua technical issues or something lol i’m so sorry i’ll do him justice next time… ily and i hope you enjoy:)

A day hadn’t gone by where you haven’t silently thanked Mittens for practically setting you up on a date with your neighbour, and now boyfriend, Joshua. If it weren’t for her sneaky little maneuver back then, you don’t think you would’ve ever been able to muster up to courage to ask him out. So, you were infinitely grateful and your dog happily took advantage of your soft heart as an excuse for more treats.

With the proximity, it was nice to be able to send him off with a wave through the window every morning as he left to work, before heading off to do your own things. Dates between you two were always casual and easy because you saw each other so often, save for the few fancy nights he’d brought you out for dinner. Although living under the same roof would provide many benefits (money, resources, satisfying your longing to cuddle with him at night *cough*), you both agreed to stay at your own houses for the time being. As sweet as he was, you guys were still in the early stages of dating after all.

You also got to officially meet his rowdy friends who had crowded the driveway when he first moved in and all of them quickly took a liking to you. Their familiar faces would drop by to hang out with you guys every so often and you enjoyed being in each other’s presence. So really, could things get any better?

Maybe, if Mittens would stop betraying you and hogging Joshua’s attention whenever he stopped by. Just kidding you love her!

Today was an easy morning. With the current snowstorm pelting the weekend, there really wasn’t much for you to do besides stay in and pass time. The unexpected knock on your door did bring some life to your day, though.

Opening out to the front porch, you found yourself shivering at the cold gust of wind that entered your house. Maybe you should’ve worn a jacket first.

“Hello?”

At your doorstep, was your one and only boyfriend, backpack in hand and shivering as well. His nose and ears already dusted red from his short journey over.

“Hi, y/n.” He smiled, lips also clearly affected by the cold wind nipping at him.

“Josh! What brings you here?... Out… in the cold?” You took in his appearance and noticed that he seemed prepared for a sleepover of some sort.

“Okay so, here’s the deal—” You held out a hand to stop him.

“Come inside first, we’re both freezing out here for no reason.” You said and stepped aside to let him enter your house, stamping his feet at the front and taking off his thick coat. Mittens had now come over to greet her favourite person with some happy barks.

“So like, my heater broke.” He said flatly, partway through giving your pet some loving scratches behind the ears.

You caught yourself before you could laugh at his unfortunate predicament.

“So I was wondering if you’d be alright if I stayed over until it’s fixed?” He continued sheepishly. “They said they wouldn’t be able to send a mechanic in until tomorrow.”

“Stay over?” You clarified, trying to process his request. He sent you another sheepish grin at that and you quickly retracted you initial hesitation. In all honesty, you didn’t really need to put much thought into your answer when you said yes, because more time with Joshua — why not? And it’s not like you had something against it.

“Have you had breakfast yet?”

He shook his head. “Not really, I literally woke up, screamed in agony when I realized the heater was broken, screamed again when they put me on hold for almost an hour, and then screamed again when they said it couldn’t be fixed.”

“Aw baby, you should’ve come here sooner then.” You giggled, cupping his cold face into your hands. “Come, I haven’t started eating breakfast yet and the water’s still hot so make yourself a drink.”

The storm only worsened throughout the day, and you found yourself glancing out the window every so often to see the snow gradually piling up on the grass outside. You dreaded having to eventually go out there and shovel all the snow out of the way, but more than that, you had this uneasy feeling that the power would go out at any moment.

Which of course, just had to be right.

You just finished a simple lunch with Joshua and was in the middle of tossing your old clothes into the laundry when the lights in the room shut off. Not long after, you heard soft steps padding your way and the flashlight from your boyfriend’s phone lit up the area in front of you.

“Did the power just…?” He started cautiously, eyeing the basket still half-full with your clothes

“Go out? Yes, yes it did.” You answered him with a sigh and nudged him to return to the living room.

“Wow, life’s just really going at us today, huh?”

“Yep, and there goes my heater too, I guess.” You joked a little pathetically at the situation. “What do you wanna do while we wait this out?”

Joshua hummed, deep in thought when you arrived at the dark room and then turned to you. “Would you by chance have any extra pillows and blankets lying around?”

“Like to keep us warm?” You questioned curiously.

“Yes, but no. More like if you have any that we could use to say... build a pillow fort?” He suggested with a childish grin which you promptly mirrored.

“Oh, I like where you’re going at that.”

After about an hour of fussing over building the fort, the two of you stood in awe at your handiwork. For an impromptu decision executed in the dark, the two of you did a pretty good job — Joshua had even sprinted over to his house to bring over his own blankets and pillows.

“After you.” He sent you a sweet smile, lifting up the cover to allow you inside.

“Why thank you, kind sir.” You bowed, playing along with his little act. You then situated yourself on one side to make room for him. It was a little stuffy, but definitely enough room for both of you to shift around if you needed to.

By now, you had wrapped yourselves in one large blanket, courtesy of the family member who had gifted it to you a few years ago. In the middle of the fort was a dim lamp, using up the last bit of the energy its batteries held. It flickered occasionally and you silently wondered how long it would take for it to die out.

“So... what do we do now?” You voiced out loud and turned to stare at Joshua awkwardly. He returned the question with a small chuckle, just as lost.

“Good question,” He nodded, shivering a little as he did. “How about cuddles to help with the cold?”

“I won’t pass out on an opportunity for cuddles.” You readily agreed, fitting yourself into his open arms and leaning on his chest. In the midst of the white noise and strong wind blowing outside, you could hear his faint heartbeat against your ear.

“It’s a little warmer now, isn’t it?” He asked, to which you nodded, snuggling a little bit closer into him.

The room fell quiet again, minus Joshua’s soft hums which vaguely sounded like some sappy Christmas carols that you couldn’t quite pinpoint the name of, but you listened contentedly, enjoying the peace despite the circumstances. You licked your lips when you noticed how chapped they had gotten and then smirked when you thought of a brilliant idea.

“Hey,” You gently poked his cheek and he stopped his humming to glance down at your face. “My lips are cold, could you do something about that too?”

And boy, did he have the perfect solution.

Oh Disneyland Paris sounds fun yeah! Were you and your roommate already close then? I went to Walt Disney's world with my aunt and cousin when I was like 11 but it would've been way more fun if I could've taken my best friend with me for sure. Maybe we can go to the one in Paris now that she lives just 3h away from me! Oh I see, sounds like LA was really fun for you yeah! your roommate didn't mind third wheeling tho? Hahaha

Yeah Canada is beautiful but what I liked about it the most was the massive improvement in quality of life I had compared to where I was living before and just being able to be who I am and people accepting me for it. Not being worried about violence 24/7 felt pretty fucking great too. So yeah I highly recommend living there if you ever get a chance. But I am loving Portugal so far, people are a bit more judgemental here tho but I like that it's easier to travel to a lot of countries I've always wanted to go to. Everywhere you go there are pros and cons tho so sorting out priorities is key. But Toronto is my favourite of all the places I've been, before living there for a year I had already been two times!

Jesus 50 states, sometimes I forget how big the US is. And you can totally do it if you plan it out! After watching Bly Manor tho I really want to go to Vermont especially during autumn season looks really pretty! There's this fic I love (only the sun by prestonarchives) where Dani and Jamie go on a road trip from Vermont to Maine and I did their entire journey on Google maps street view bc I was so obsessed with this one chapter fanfic I had to immerse myself entirety in it hahaha. Omg I totally remember reading that on CBML and being a bit confused bc I was like why would she think you can't see the moon from the great wall of China HAHAHA but I thought it was really funny and endearing yeah it's even funnier now that I know you said it irl haha.

Yeah me and my roommate have been friends since we were like 14 so when we went to Disney Land we asked if we could be roomed together because we've been best friends for that long now... been best friends since school and now we live together. She's seen me at my best, my worst, has seen me in all my stages in life and has been there for a lot of the rough stuff I've been through and I've been there for all the stuff she's been through!! Nah she didn't mind at all we had some moments where me and my ex would just go and be a couple and have dates but my ex didn't want me travelling that far alone so invited my roommate too because she didn't like the thought of me flying 11hours alone or being in airports alone so my roommate came with me and we had a great time Awwh good I'm glad it was such a nice place and that you didn't worry about violence all the time but I'm so sorry you ever had to worry about that anyway that can't be easy. I would honestly love to live in Canada I really hope I get chance one day... I'm glad you're loving Portugal but sorry people are judgemental there but I am glad it's easy for you to travel around to other places... oh yeah every place has it's pros and cons I mean England has some pros but it sure has a lot of cons too so I know all about that Yeah America is SO big but I do want to get around all 50 states at some point and I am stubborn enough and determined enough to make it happen eventually even if I don't get around them all until I'm like 70 I'll make it happen haha!! And with zodiac signs I love that Amelia looked at Jamie and thought she was an Aries, as for Dani I have NO idea what her zodiac would be... in CBML she's a Leo but in MoU with what I have planned for her birthday she'd be a virgo but I don't know anything about zodiacs... all I know is all the pieces I've ever met have been the opposite of what Dani is so maybe that has something to do with their whole charts but I know a lot of other people always make her a Pieces and I trust what other people say about zodiacs more than what I know about them because I really know NOTHING about them haha Nah I knew it was a road sign because of how heavy and hard it was- nah we have no bears where I live... I don't think we have many dangerous animals where I live... got a couple of badgers that can be pretty aggressive but that's about it we don't have much that is scary here or at least not in the little part of England I live. Having life threatening health issues has been hard and since having my spleen removed in January (that was the surgery I needed to try and fix the issue I had) things are even harder now because I have to take antibiotics for the rest of my life to stop me getting any infections because if I ever get a chest infection now or a really bad cold it can be really dangerous but I take it all in my stride and not drinking is just a way to make sure the antibiotics actually work properly and to make sure nothing happens to me... and like you said, means I don't do anything dumb too... haha drunken stories are the best I have been lost a few times when I've been drunk... and I don't think you do learn, I have siblings that are

like 40 and still do dumb shit... I know at 27 I am still doing dumb shit too I don't think I'll ever learn haha 😂 Its such an emotional roller coaster and honestly I was just devastated the first time I watched it... no TV show or movie has ever made me cry the way Bly Manor did when I first saw it and it still makes me cry now. I can cry just thinking about that last episode. I definitely mean it in a friendly way so I hope it comes across like that. Yeah the accent in Billy Elliot is a Geordie accent and its my favourite accent there are other accents around the north that are called different things. Yeah Lancashire is a county and again in Lancashire there are loads of different accents I can't really pinpoint Jamie's down to a city I just know it's Northern. I'm from Yorkshire but don't have a strong Yorkshire accent I just have a Northern accent, like people never believe I'm from the place I'm from because I don't sound like I am but you can definitely tell I'm northern... honestly there are so many accents in England... you can drive for two hours in any direction in England and the accent will change like two times at least it's insane... see a lot of people say that but I am not a HUGE fan of the northern accent and I think it's because I grew up there. I much prefer Dani's accent to Jamie's but like I said to me, Jamie just talks normal there is no accent really haha Yeah 4k words for it but it's all jumbled up it's not like a chronological story yet it's just all over the place haha but I hope I can get it all structured properly soon!! Awwh good I'm glad you're already interested in this medieval AU!! That makes sense you're resisting creating for it but I think it's so cool you did a face study for Dani and Jamie even if you didn't wanna finish it I think letting things cook for a while is always a good idea if you're not in the right headspace right away I had such a good weekend but I am so tired and today I had a busy day too celebrating my roommate's boyfriend's birthday so I've had so many days that have been so busy and right now I am just really to sleep haha!! Yeah definitely don't have favourites but I have spent more time with one of my nieces than the others simply because I always look after her if her mum and dad are working and I'm not... like until I start this new job I am looking after her for an hour every day after school while she waits for her mum and dad to finish work but I don't have favourites haha!! Summary:

Ah, Senkuu thinks then, I guess Tsukasa and Gen aren’t dating.

He considers his response, as well as this new piece of information.

Gen licks his lips. "Noted."

In which it's 2019 AD, and lately, strangers have been smiling at Senkuu as if he’s an old friend. Alternatively—three thousand and seven hundred years’ worth of memories in the span of eight months.

My notes: It’s more of a mystery, rather than just angst but it does carry it’s degree of “welp, there goes my heart”. I really enjoyed the ride, and I hope you can give it a try!

My notes: A rather light-hearted sickfic, in a way. Senkuu gets really sick, but, well, he’s not the only one and he keeps working until he can’t anymore. I really liked how this author stopped to think about real life consequences of waking up in a world that had long since left humanity behind in a way.
