~Yakuza best/worst huggers~

1.) Tabe: He's the best hugger at the Hassaikai! He's a good boi with a misunderstood quirk. He's genuinely a great and adorable hugger when it comes to the members. His hugs last as long as you hold so you'll have to pull away first.

2.) Pops: Grandpa hugs...need I say more?

3.) Chronostasis: He's got these playful/protective big brother hugs once you get close to him. Always warm and smells like pine trees and sometimes cologne. Sometimes when he pulls away (if you're not taller than him) he'll ruffle your hair. If no hair, then he'll flick your forehead playfully.

4.) Tengai: He wont hug you too long, but his hugs are so comforting after a bad day. He offers advice after each hug so he always feels like a loving father

5.) Hojo: Speaking of fathers, he's got dad energy too. He only hugs with one arm but its a firm and loving type of hug. Something about his one arm hug makes you feel like everything will be okay.

6.) Rappa: Our boy is 6 on the list because his hugs rule, but can sometimes be too much! Rappa gives tight hugs! He will lift you off your feet and swing you around like a ragdoll. Sometimes he launches you into a sudden playful wrestling match (headlock and all).

7.) Nemouto: He's 7 on the list not because his hug is bad but because of how he acts when it comes to hugs. He will NOT hug you first...ever. You always have to initiate. His hugs are somewhat long/somewhat short at the same time. For the period of time he hugs you in, it's always really kind.

8.) Setsuno: He will pull away way too quick! He's not risking falling for you because he doesn't want to get attached. Therefore, your hugs (if you get any) are always short and sweet. Sometimes he barely wraps his arms around you before he just pulls away.

9.) Mimic: Hugs with Irinaka are ALWAYS the best but they come at a risk and that's why he's so low on the list. This man will fight for his life to not hug you. He's usually in his stuffie form so hugs are already waaay too annoying to him. "Damn it y/n, put me down right now!!!"

10.) Katsukame: If you can hug him, then he'll let you. Gets way too handy sometimes (if he has a crush on you). Otherwise, way too strong and doesnt know his own strength

11.) Deidoro: His hugs and a bit clumsy but still kinda cute. The issue is that he always makes your shoulder and upper back wet after you pull away. You can never tell of its vomit, slobber, or alcohol. Either way...its gross

12.) Overhaul: He'd be high up on the list when it comes to comfort, but he's very last because you get no hugs from him unless you've been kicking for a looooong time when it comes to relationships. Otherwise, you gets no love from him. You belong to the streets😤

~Wedding Day for the Hassaikai~

headcanon|scenario|imagine|match-up

-Overhaul: Has everything in order but still ends up tearing up when you walk down the aisle in your dress/tux. Reality sets in that you’re doing something special like this with him. You’re essentially tying yourself to him for the rest of your lives. He didn’t think this would ever happen. Pops gets LOTS of pictures of Kai on the verge of tears just to show them later on.

-Chronostasis: He feels like shit because he pretty much left most of the planning up to you except for the colors and his tux. He makes up for it by overdoing himself at the honeymoon stage. It’s really over the top and pretty pricey but it’s all in the name of you. Eventually you have to tell him to chill out or he’ll end up blowing too much money on everything!

-Nemouto: This day is just as special for him as it is for you. He waited such a long time to propose that you thought it was never going to happen! On top of that, you two spent another year and a half being engaged to each other before he finally decided it was time to seal the deal. He took things very slow just in case you wanted to leave at some point. Luckily, you proved your loyalty and stuck around for him no matter what. You were patient enough and now he was going to treat that by calling you his very own wife/husband/partner

-Deidoro: A bar at the wedding is a must. Also, have you ever seen ‘The Hangover’? Like the very first one? That’s how his bachelor party goes. Lucky for you, he makes it to the wedding just in time! Anyhow, I headcanon that he actually took some time and wrote his own vows to you. It means a lot because he actually took time to figure out what he wanted to say and how he wanted to say it.

-Mimic: You guys set a reasonable budget and went at least 4,000 over the budget that you originally set. So even though you ended up having a lovely wedding and honeymoon, you guys had to set back money before you could move out of the small apartment you shared, and into a larger house. Oh and don’t even think about having/adopting kids right now...his heart says maybe but his wallet says hell no.

-Pops: This old man has a super beautiful and very traditional wedding with you. This can be interesting if you are a foreigner to this type of stuff. However, it’s something you can be thankful to have experienced with your new husband. You guys also end up honeymooning at a larger bathhouse far out of the way. It’s definitely a peaceful experience for you both.

-Setsuno: Sheds the biggest tears as soon as the music starts and you begin coming down the aisle. At this very moment, he’s on cloud 9 and nobody can bring him down! With each step you take down the aisle, he can envision a different part of your lives together. Starting a family, moving somewhere nice, dinner with friends, the honeymoon, building up everything with each other...it’s enough to make anyone cry when they realize they’re in love. He’s got you, and he’s never gonna let you go.

-Tabe: God, the amount of food you have at your wedding is ridiculous! Don’t even get me started on the 8 tier cake... Anyway, aside from that, he marries you by a body of water (more like a lake rather than the beach). It’s around the evening as the sun sets and fireflies come out. While everyone is enjoying the reception, you two snuck away to skip rocks by the water, catch fireflies, and make-out a little bit. It was a truly beautiful night.

-Hojo: Is right by your side and faithfully helping to plan the wedding. He budgets, helps you narrow down venues and colors, gets in contact with your family (even though some of them don’t like him), and he even comes to test taste wedding cakes with you. Hojo is on it for sure! The day of the wedding, he’s freaking out just a tiny bit because everything was strictly planed and he doesn’t want any occurrences where it goes off the tracks. He doesn’t calm down until after the actual ceremony when you guys are relaxing at the reception.

-Katsukame: Sneaks a peak at the wedding dress/tux and literally feels so guilty about it that he tells you immediately. You have to laugh it off and reassure him that it’s okay. “Oh calm down Rikiya. It’s just some old tradition. No need to worry.” Besides this, everything is well between the ceremony and reception. He feels guilty because of how eager he is for the honeymoon to consummate your marriage. He just can’t wait to get his hands on you. At that point, then he’ll say you’ve been officially linked together.

-Tengai: Much like Pops, he opts for a more traditional wedding. There is lavender everywhere at the wedding and the reception because it has a a calming scent/effect. He also ends up having the bartenders serve chamomile tea at the reception as well. He knows he didn’t need to get you a wedding gift, but he awarded you a matching robe so you might be comfortable like he is.

-Rappa: Loses the wedding rings ON the day of the damn wedding. You just laugh at it. That’s just your Rappa after all. No need to worry because he found them in the backseat of the car just as you two were getting ready to leave for the honeymoon. He apologies like 12 times, but everything is well so there’s no need to apologize.

Nemoto prided himself in being your friend and also your guard whenever Chrono was busy with some other work. That’s why when you asked him to accompany you to a spa day, he didn’t even hesitate to agree (especially when you offered to pay his massage as well). Anyway, it was already 3 p.m so he went to search for you before you guys might miss the appointment. At the same you and Kai finished showering together (to save on water of course) and left the bathroom just wrapped loosely in towels. You dropped your phone between the bed and the bedside table and bent to pick it up. Kai got behind you to hold onto your hips so you wouldn’t fall. Then the door clicked and Nemoto came inside and well...

He wasn’t entirely convinced it was nothing more than that. However, he kept his mouth shut on the subject instead of teasing you two lol

(I can give you a neutral reader at best, if that’s okay. I tend to write so a bunch of people can try and insert themselves unless it’s a super specific ask. I apologize!)

~Nemouto Joins the Hassaikai~

-Okay so you guys are having dinner at the table one night, and you can tell something is up with him. Instead of fully confronting him about it, you just kinda look at him dead in his eyes. You know he couldn’t ever lie to you so he broke down and told you what’s been up with him today. “I apologize for not telling you this earlier. I was waiting for the perfect time. I have joined the Shie Hassaikai and I’m expected to be there for my first day tomorrow.”

-So then you’re like “The Shie what now???” He explains to you that it’s a yakuza branch. Halfway through the explanation you shake your head and get up from the table with your plate. “Absolutely not, Shin.” You take the plate to the sink and start cleaning it. He goes to stand behind you and try to plead his case. However, you’re not hearing any of it.

-You’re stubborn

-”Please understand me Y/N. This is for a greater good in society!” He says to you. You roll your eyes and turn to face him. “Greater good? How about this. My uncle joined the yakuza once. Want to hear the story of how it went?”

“Yes?”

“He got shot and my Aunt got sent to jail for harboring a criminal. END OF STORY.”

-Then you went to take a shower and lay down for bed. However, Nemouto pestered you about it until you rolled over and showed him you had been crying for 20 minutes now. “Shin please don’t do this. I can’t lose you.” He paused for a moment before pulling you close. “My darling if you only understood that I will be just fine. This branch isn’t violent like the others. Besides, if an altercation were to ever come forward, I have exceptional teammates to lean on. I will be okay. I can assure you of this as a fact.” With that, you were somewhat convinced to let him go do his thing.

-Days went on since then but you never lost that worry for him. It only shrank and pushed itself to the back of your brain. Since then, he’s been doing everything he can do just to show you he’s fine. You were even allowed on the premises to meet him teammates and boss (of course you had to wear a mask and gloves first lol).

-Kai doesn't like that his wife/husband/partner is so close the Precepts but there's not much he can do about that because he's busy working. Besides, he did tell you to get to know them because they would each be your body guard at some point. You just had a kind nature about yourself so that's why they were confused when you showed up with Kai. Many of them wondered how the hell he was able to pull a sweetheart like you! Yet here you were, being the sweetest person in the Hassaikai.

-Mimic would be somewhat apathetic about it but not because he doesnt like you. Mimic just doesnt like the attention sometimes. He's always telling you to piss off. What's worse is the way you see him coming down the hall and bolt at him before lifting him up and cuddling him like a baby. "Put me dOWN YOU NUISANCE!!!"

-Nemouto is in the middle of apathy and empathy with you. He's fully loyal to Kai and doesn't want to be seen getting too close to you. Aside from this, he doesnt mind talking with you every once in a while over a cup of coffee.

-Chrono loves your kindness. Its very hard to find around the base, so you are indeed a fresh breath of air to him. Kai doesn't like that you two spend so much time together but he also cant say much about it because Chrono is his right hand man, so he trusts you being around him the most. Chrono is like a brother to you, so there's no need for worry!

-Rappa likes the attention too. He'll honestly be caught flirting with you sometimes. He won't push his luck too far, but sometimes he can't help it. You're always saying such nice stuff about him and always encouraging him to keep working out. You also coddle him when it comes to fighting. You're nurturing and he's drawn to that.

-Tengai loves your company and appreciates your limitless kindness. He thinks you have a peaceful heart and your ways show how gentle you can be. A breath of fresh air in the otherwise violent organization? Sign him up!

-Setsuno is apathetic to the fullest degree. He doesnt want you around him or showing him kindness at all. I mean, it's nice to hear your reassuring words, but he doesnt want someone else's S/O spending a bunch of time with him.

-Tabe loves your company. He'll let you teat him like a baby all day long because he's a little bit touch starved. Brush his hair, wash his mask, feed him, talk to him. Tabe is here for it!

-Hojo is in the middle. He feels like an uncle to you no matter the age that you might be. He thinks your kindness will get you killed though, so expect a lot of lectures on his part.

-Deidoro doesn't give two shits about how nice you are. I mean, you two tend to stay away from each other for reasons unknown to the others. You still offer him encouraging words and kindness, but he doesn't want that. He doesnt hate you, he just doesnt vibe with you. So just let it go I guess

-Katsukame is apathetic as well. He's nice to you and talks to you like a kid but that's only because he has to be nice to you. He doesnt want you getting too friendly with him because it's both dangerous to him and you. He doesn't even like whenever it's his shift as the bodyguard.

“Get up!” Magne slammed your door open and you scrambled around in the bed for a second. “Jesus, Mag! What the hell is going on with you?” You groaned as you scratched the back of your head. She smiled and tossed a box onto your bed in front of you. You wiped the sleep from your eyes and picked the box up to read it. “Streamers?” You shook the box and looked at Magne in confusion. She just smiled and waved her hand for you to follow her out of the room. You stretched out and went to go follow Magne. When you came out of the room, there were balloons filling one end of the room corner up. Toga was busy blowing air into a pink one when she noticed you. “Y/N!” She mumbled your name, her fangs accidentally popping the balloon in her face. “Aw man. That’s like the 12th one so far.” She pouted and Magne shook her head. “Uh yeah, I know. I told you to hang the streamers instead, but you insisted on blowing up the balloons.” She handed Toga a trashbag to put the busted remains of the balloon into. “If I’m not mistaken, it’s neither of our birthdays today so what’s up with all the decorating and stuff?” You questioned them as Magne shuffled around in the kitchen drawer to look for some tape to hang the balloons. “Not a birthday party, but a housewarming party instead!” Toga cheered loudly. “Yeah, it’s not just for us either. We decided to throw it for Spinner too since he just moved in around the same time as us as well.” Magne added. “Okay that’s all fine but who are we even gonna invite? Because that burnt guy from down below us is probably fed up with the noise we make up so often.” You hinted at your downstairs neighbor Dabi. “Pshhh, he’s not really all as grumpy as he seems. I chatted with him as he was getting home from work one night. He’s only like that when he has to open for the tattoo shop he works at a few blocks away. You just gotta hang out with him is all.” Magne explained as she began to tape balloons to the wall. “Yeah! And I also invited some friends I made too! There’s the person across from us. He’s a college student in his last year of tech school. His name is Tomura. I can tell we’re gonna be great friends!” Toga raved. “Uh no. He told you to get lost the other day, then he locked his door behind him to make sure you couldn’t get inside.”

“Blah! He’s just being a little shy is all. I also made friends with other person on this floor. His name is Twice!” You nodded and thought to yourself about the fact you hadn’t made any new friends since you arrived here. Was there something wrong with you? Suddenly there was a soft knock at the door, just barely audible. You went to open it and smiled when you saw Spinner shyly rubbing his arm through his hoodie. “Hey.”‘ He greeted you. “Who is that?! Spinner???” Magne pushed past you and gave him a tight hug. “Come in! I’m glad you got my text message I sent you!” Magne spoke to people to effortlessly sometimes. You could only stand back and watch with the same shy disposition that Spinner shared with you. Magne noticed this and a light-bulb went off above her head. “Actually, you two should go to the store for me and pick up a few things for tonight!” She scribbled up a quick list and handed it to you along with her card. Then she tossed Spinner the keys to her car (think of like idk, a 2018 Kia Sorento or something). “Be back soon you two.” She smiled and turned to help Toga with the decor. You shrugged and headed out the door with Spinner. Once downstairs he passed the keys to you. “What? There’s no issue with driving her car or anything like that. Magne is really cool about that stuff.” You reassured Spinner. He shook his head and took the list and card to hold instead. “No, it’s not that. I’m a really scary driver as I’ve been told before. I’ve been in like 3 car wrecks before. I think it’d be best if you drive instead.” You nodded and got into the car.

On the way to the store, you let him take control of the Aux cord. he had a huge thing for Rob Zombie and Hopsin. There weren’t many words exchanged, but luckily it began to feel less awkward and more comforting like you two had know each other for a while. Finally you both made it to the store. Spinner pushed the cart while you rambled on about the list of stuff Magne came up with. “At the end, she literally just wrote for us to get whatever else we think we’ll need. I have the feeling she’s gonna blow her check before the end of the week. She’s got a compulsive shopping addiction. I think whatever else she didn’t list, I’ll just buy it with my money instead.” You said as you added chips to the cart. “I’ll go half on it, since it’s apparently my party too.” Spinner added as he pushed the cart forward and onto the next aisle. As you two shopped, you made small talk. Somewhere along the lines it shifted onto the topic of video games. Then Shigaraki’s name came up. “You’re friends with him?” You asked Spinner. He nodded and scanned the game section for something new. “Yeah. Me and him have game nights once a week at his apartment. He doesn’t really leave much unless it’s for school or whatever. Other than that, he just stays in there most of the time. I bet if I told him I’m bringing something to the party to play, he’d probably come.” Spinner joked with you. “Bet! I hope he comes because Toga would be sad if she didn’t think he accepted her invitation.” You two laughed it off, and eventually checked out of the store. By the time you made it back to the apartment, Toga and Magne had made the place look awesome inside. There were also more people just chilling on the inside of the apartment.

Dabi sat on the couch and flipped though his phone while Toga made friends with the new face in the corner, someone Dabi must’ve brought along with him. His name was Hawks apparently. There was also Toga’s friend Twice talking to Magne, but no sign of Shigaraki just yet. Twice had brought with him, a friend named Muscular. Spinner looked visibly shy at the sight of a few new faces. Sure you all lived in the same building, but you never really saw each other as much unless you lived close on the same floor. “I’ll uh...I’ll go get Tomura like we talked about.” He told you before making an escape through the front door. Toga had turned on the speaker in the corner and blared party music at a medium level of volume. While she, Twice, and Magne danced in the corner of the room. Dabi went out to the building and lit a cigarette, offering for Muscular to join him if he wanted. You went to spread out the groceries on the snack table, adding a little flare of decor as well. Hawks sat on the floor and recorded you for a Snapchat video. Then he did the same for the trio dancing in the corner. Spinner came back through the door with Shigaraki and the two began to set up a gaming station in front of the living room TV. Once finished, Spinner installed the new game he purchased, and Shigaraki called some people up. He invited at least 2 more people that were in the same college as him. Someone by the name of Kai and Hari. Meanwhile, Magne had turned the lights off and turned on the party lights. You watched in awe as the colorful lights flashed around the room and the sound of laughter was soon heard. Everyone was conversing and hanging out as if they’d been friends all their lives. Finally you let go of any and all shyness you had left as you went to join Twice, Toga, Magne, and now Hawks too in the dancing corner. Kai and Hari showed up, each bringing a friend of their own as well. Two by the name of Setsuno and Nemouto.

The party was underway and honestly the most fun you had since moving in the apartment. By the end of it, you had a huge mess to clean with Toga and Magne, but it could be worth it when you looked into your phone contacts and saw it wasn’t empty for once. It was a warming feeling to tell truth, and you felt like you were right where you belonged!
