“I don’t know how the fans do it Renjun.” You rub the dark birthmark on his hand, counting the tiles on the floor as you walked side by side. “I mean… seeing you one night in concert and then having to go home… back to seeing you on a tiny screen. I don’t know how I’d survive like that. It’s a miracle we made it through quarantine.”

He pushes you with his shoulder, scrunching his nose in fake annoyance as he comes to a stop. It’s hours after the concert ended—the venue sits empty and silent compared to the ground shaking music and lively screams from fans that leaked from it just a while ago. It’s still ringing in your ears, not quite registering how different the Renjun you had by your side was from the Renjun that performed on stage. You watched him from your peripheral vision, how he kicked rocks and moped around the entrance of the venue, scared of exploring a city so unfamiliar.

“I booked us a food tour for earlier, but you got too busy and it’s far too late to go now—” You catch the frown growing on Renjun’s face, quickly spinning him around to face you. “Hey, it’s okay. I wasn’t done with what I was saying. Anyway—I was thinking since we can’t do that we could either join Jaem and Jisung at the East Side Gallery or we could walk to the Oberbaum bridge. It’s just a few minutes away but it’s so worth it.”

“I think that you’ve had to share me with enough people tonight, let’s go to that bridge.” You smile from ear to ear, offering him a small peck before following the address you typed in on your phone.

The walk is mostly quiet. The only noise that reached your ears was the sound of Renjun’s puffy sleeves clashing on the side of his jacket as he swung your hands together. The two of you ogled at the empty streets, letting it slip your minds that it was past midnight and you were lucky to see two people outside in this weather. You keep your eye on the river next to you, smiling at the lights that bouncing off of it. You couldn’t think of better person to experience it with other than Renjun. There was nothing he loved more than being a tourist in other cities. He was so curious about everything—the park the two of you passed—the gallery that was just down the path—down to the lively club that sat on its lonesome. There were questions even you didn’t know the answer to—not that he cared. He was mostly asking just to ask, not looking for a real response.

Once the two of you reached the bridge you were breathless. You let go of Renjun’s hand, racing him to one of the many window-like openings that overlooked the river. You looked far into the horizon, taking in the sights as Renjun came up behind you. His footsteps echoed around the corners of the empty deck.

Your (e/c) eyes reach the moon, a soft smile settling on your lips. “The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?”

Renjun’s arms find their way to your torso, his head resting on your shoulder as he balances his body weight on you.

“I think that phrase only works if it’s in Japanese.” He pinches your hip, too comfortable to move from his stance behind you. He can’t think of a better way to spend his night. Watching the lights reflect off the river underneath you. Watching as your (s/c) complexion glows next to the orange architecture of the bridge. He is glad he agreed to this—adding a simple, yet significant memory with you here was a reason to come back and explore more of the city with more time. “But yes, the moon is beautiful, (Y/n/n).”

apart from k-pop, i'm also a big k-music enjoyer in general. i especially love k-bands and k-indie! korean music also isn't my only special interest as my special interest is actually korean pop culture in general (k-pop, k-dramas, variety shows, etc.). i also love fish and aquatic animals! funnily enough i'm not necessarily an animal expert, but any mention of fish or jellyfish will make me start jumping from joy. another random fact about me is that i have a strong emotional attachment to the color blue. i have started watching a survival show once just because their uniforms were blue.. or started shows just because the poster was primarily blue! my favourite color is also extremely specific as it's #b2d2e5. i can speak english, polish, and some basic korean. apart from being autistic i also have adhd and i often hyperfix on k-pop artists or dramas, but sometimes it's something completely random and unrelated!

I’m having extreme nct dream berlin pcd rn💔 i went to the concert as a casual like stan and went out there ulting them💔 Like i would do anything to see them as now ults again and just screaming the songs and stuff.. like i was singing but i was all the way up and in the back and stuff and like i want better seats better experience etc.. Also broken melodies reminds me sm of hello future aka one of my comfort concepts aka the songs that makes me get pcd so fast everytime i hear it💔 Also my phone didn’t recorded Irreplaceable like💔 And the whole damn show i was waiting for candy and my phone didn’t saved the video💔 But i just miss them so much i really hope they come to germany again and that i can go and not like all my other ults who don‘t come here💔💔💔 Also I’m manifestiert that i get the chance to scream out broken melodies some day and hopefully to hear candy again some day💔 also i wanna see ateez last 2 times in germany i didn’t saw them💔 I nearly went to my fav soccer teams game(ended up not going idek for what reason anymore) and it was the game Hongjoong went to😭💔 Like lemme see nct dream again and all my other ults for the first time💔

ok one thing i believe is that like you will always come out of a nct concert a changed person… like i’ve been to so many concerts and none of them changed me like seeing 127 did in 2019 LOL… there is just smthn about nct man… it’s crazy!!

also the ateez thing is so unlucky… i’ll manifest that you see them all again… dw.. you will see them!! like congrats on seeing nct n ateez!! (speaking into existence rn…)

also at least there are performances of those songs… u know? i try not to record entire concerts, usually just songs that don’t have performances, ya know? the true pain is not have a recording of a song that has no live performances 😭😭

I have yeah, I saw Blitzers in October and it was AMAZING 🥹 I wanna see some of my other faves aswell, most importantly Skz and Seventeen, but Shinee would also be sick, but the possibilityfor that is low. I missed out when Nct Dream came to Berlin a few weeks ago so ye :(

Okay since I have a few free hours for myself I thought I'd finnaly sum up my thoughts about the NCT Dream show in Berlin. And since I'm the "Do not step on the grass!" type of boomer, I'll start with the negatives.

First of all, what the fuck.

The event page said "camping not allowed," so I was kind of surprised when I saw several queues and people sitting down by the entrances with blankets and stuff the day before. But whatever. When we reached the arena around 4PM the next day, we were impressed by the way the queues are lined and how people are pretty organized. Right at the front, there was like a "camping site" where a bunch of people was sitting down in their blankets, on pillows, with their stuff, food, drinks, everything..... They were sitting right in front of the entrance, right in front of the door, surely they'd reach the stage first. But for whatever reason as soon as the door opened and they started letting people in, they abandonded all their stuff? Just left it on the ground. For other people to sprain their ankle on. I couldn't believe it, by the time I got closer to the entrance, I stepped on several blankets, duvets, full unopened bottles of water, somebody's dinner leftovers and dozens of posters that the fans were oh so proudly holding just a moment ago. I don't understand why you have to act this way? Please be responsible for your stuff???? Act like an adult, you are not 13 years old. I don't speak German but there are certain words I do understand and one of them is "schwein" which a German mom in front of me kept repeating, and I felt so embarrassed for the whole community. Shame on you. And shout out to the homeless guy who got really rich that evening.

Second of all, I can't blame people for being tall, I can't really blame the fans for waving the lighsticks even when they're holding it five centimeters away from my face making me blind, cause that's what you do at concerts. But come on, stop with the phones, guys, please! People shooting whole freaking movies like some girls didn't even stop to look at the actual stage, the Dreamies were 10 meters away from you!!!!!! I wanted to shake them so bad like "Look!! They're there! The actual humans!! Right there!" But like whatever, you want to shoot the whole thing, sure, film away, but do not obstruct my view please. It was already pretty hard to see and then when everybody and I mean everybody held up their phones, I literally couldn't see anything. Just the screens. I was mad and very very frustrated. And what nearly drove me over the edge was the fans that wanted to capture the atmosphere of the arena by filming the fans too. People sitting a hundred meters away from you in the dark probably wouldn't mind, but me standing next to you sure do mind a lot. One of the girls in front me made a panoramatic shot every 30 seconds, her phone would fly centimeters away from my face, I'm telling you, girl, I do not want to be in your video. I don't.

All of this made me genuinely not enjoy the show. I couldn't see properly, not only the stage, but also the big screens. All I could see were the phone screens which made me feel like I'm watching just another YouTube video. I also got super self-aware and was too scared to move or shout or sing cause I knew all of that is going to be in yall's videos so...

Just wanted to say this.

mark lee mark lees just about as hard you'd expect a mark lee to mark lee so prepare a spare pair of undies

haechan proved that not only does he eat cds for breakfast, his ancestors have done so for at least five generations to prepare for his arrival

jeno is somehow even more handsome in real life

jisung is WAY more handsome in real life (that man has busted through any and all baby gates and is making everyone around his distressed)

chenle is just dirty

jaemin literally smiles all the time and i thought i was prepared for it since i know it's his thing but nothing prepares you for it. he smiles like sunshine but also like he knows he could kill you?

you know when it's quiet and then all of a sudden this clear, full, bell like note belts out? yeah, that's renjun. all the time.

i actually enjoyed the songs i normally skip (for example my first and last because "oh, you hate happiness" - my friend) more than the songs i was really hyped for (7dream version of hello future)

like if i am being brutally honest, i was a bit worried when i saw the set list because i love hype, high energy, hard hitting music and i'd classify over half of the songs played as chill/vibey/bright and since dream isn't - or better wasn't hahaha - one of my ult groups part of me was nervous about how much i would like the show and if it would be worth paying for the trip and ticket for the few songs i was initially feeling must-see-sadjlakjfklsfj about. but i enjoyed it SO MUCH. it was amazing, i don't regret a thing and i enjoyed every second of it and past me was a big idiot and if you have a chance to go see them, do it. they're so fun and captivating on stage and draw you in with their energy no matter what the beat of the song is.

i really liked the stage design and all the video graphics playing during performances. AND THE LASERS. seriously, so many lasers i felt like i was at a transformers rave

dreaming might be one of the best nct songs out of all the units

i was also in a glass box of emotion and the emotion was not appropriate for public

no but seriously, put me in a glass box. i would look like a greased up turkey leg spinning in a transparent microwave but i would own it.

also it is ironic that the song is called quiet down when everyone is literally screaming their heads off. they want a wave? we'll make a wave. they want us to yell out team slogans? sure. chant zhong chenle? absolutely. they say go trigger the fever? well fuck covid safety protocols then! but quiet down? QUIET DOWN?!?!

also you need sturdy bleachers for trigger the fever because they will make you jump and i was worried the seated section would collapse for a moment.

saturday drip was everything and i wanted and more but i am still bitter because i thought i filmed it all and got the most epic angle of the run down the catwalk, jump, confetti explosion moment only to realize i was never in the video mode and just snapped a photo in the beginning and held my phone up the whole time :') silver lining: i did manage to snatch a piece of saturday drip tho

jisung has such a distinct tone to his voice and every time he sang or rapped a line my heart did a little thing

the crowd went apeshit over glitch mode but give us an english version of beatbox and everyone is struggling because what do you mean english? ENGLISH? we are supposed to know english words now?

the most awkward moment of the show was that vcr making us practice the wave because there was no music, no audio, just subtitles going like "hello! starting from the right... let's do a fan light wave! 1... 2... 3... amazing!" (though we really would've needed the practice when mark made us actually do it hahaha, nailed it on the second try tho!)

i went into this concert with no fixed dream bias but like a very definitive top 3 and an idea who it would be and then, out of nowehere... renjun. the least likely, never was on my radar for a bias candidate member. i am still in denial over the fact jeno was there in his poor excuse of a shirt, grinding, and my eyes kept straying. but for real, you cannot overstate the charisma renjun has on stage. he is like a hypnosnake. i am having a crisis.

every individual member made an effort to speak something in german in every single ment they did and i heard it was the same with french in paris and english in london and it was honestly really heart warming

mark needs less watermelons and more fried eggs

Here me out girl, legit I'm thinking about going to nct dream's concert in Berlin. Aber meine eine Freundin, die nct dream auch mag wird zu der Zeit im Urlaub sein. Eine andere Freundin von mir wäre bereit mitzukommen aber die ist nicht so into kpop und will auch nicht krass viel Geld dafür ausgeben. Also falls wir uns beide Tickets für das Berlin Konzert kaufen, könnten wir uns rein theoretisch auch treffen. Dann wärst du immerhin nicht die ganze Zeit allein 🤭💓
