gently slides you two silly scar headcanons..

1) he has vex wings, same as cub, but thinks they're scary-looking so he keeps them folded up. they're pretty thin and only semi-corporeal so he can pull this off with minimal discomfort most of the time

2) he is a very subtle shapeshifter but just. has never noticed ghfsjf. (so things like hair color, body type, face shape, and the appearance of nonhuman traits like his ears + tail change gradually over time. scar is and has always been completely unaware of this) (this is partially an explanation for why i draw him looking completely differently depending on the series but also to account for his many characters + skins. plus it's hilarious)

been watching the Fallout show with bailey and regrettably must report that it's actually pretty enjoyable when watched as intended (a bingeable tv series) and not dissected to death on Youtube via overanalyzed 5-second clips. i particularly like how much fun the prop department had - at one point they have a guy handling a water chip, and you can tell they were working directly from the fallout 1 renders

#the set and costume design in particular have been my favorite parts so far #Filly feels so much more realistic than any of the in-game cities like Megaton because it has OUTSKIRTS!! #it's not just desert -> wall -> fully formed city made of junk like in Ed Edd n Eddy! they ease into it via a junkyard with desire paths!

happy 3l anniversary, take a full excerpt of my 3l scarian oneshot <3 -

Being red heightened Scar's senses in a way he never would've thought possible. If he focuses hard enough, he can almost feel the beating of Grian's heart, he can almost see the vein of his pulse protruding from his neck. It was beautiful and tempting and horrifying. Scar finally manages to pull his eyes away from Grian when he gets the sudden urge to rip it out with his teeth.

He doesn't know what to make of these thoughts, doesn't know which of them are really his and which of them are the ghosts of his past lives possessing him. No one else is red yet. Just Scar. How can he know for sure that this is the effect of dying twice? How does he know he's not just using the hostility as an excuse to let his subconscious run rampant?

His thoughts about Grian are typically more lust-filled than violent, but maybe there's something about being red that lowers his inhibitions and intensifies the thoughts. It's not awful, honestly. It's a bit horrifying, yes, but the horror is overcome by the knowledge of how good Grian looks in his sweater, and the thought of how he'd look even prettier covered head to toe in red.

Not now, Scar thinks. In due time.

Grian will be red eventually and Scar will be able to relish in it as much as he wants then, but for now, Scar is focused on keeping him by his side.
