Okay so this is just gonna be blabbering a bit, dunno if it'll make any sense, but I've been thinking about The Legion and Jeff a lot, and how they'd potentially react to seeing each other in the realm n shit.
They slightly knew each other pre-realm solely because Frank or Joey (not entirely sure) commissioned Jeff to do a mural of their logo at their little hideout. Obviously they weren't friends or anything, but they did know each other. I'm assuming they were the same age when they met as well, seeing that he was always wanting to escape his parents during high school, which is why he got his first job where he met the Legion.
Blah blah blah, Legion ended up getting taken by the Entity first after their little murder fiasco, and then Jeff was taken roughly 20+ years afterwards when he went to visit the mural at the lodge. So Legion is still 16-19 (depending on who we're talkin about here) and Jeff is in his 40's, yeah?
I can only imagine how wack it would be if one of them managed to recognize the other. Like, either way, that'd be such a weird experience for the both of them.
In Jeff's eyes, he's seeing these kids that he knew back in high school, but they haven't aged at all. They're still those stupid, reckless high schoolers that he got commissioned by. While in Legion's, this guy that they commissioned not so long ago is now a middle-aged man. Like Jesus, that would be so fucking weird?
I feel like Jeff would recognize them first, both due to their name (how could he forget is first ever commission), and possibly due to their appearance. It would take him a moment, but once things clicked together, I can't imagine how he'd feel seeing them. Like, these guys are literally killers running around trying to sacrifice these survivors to Spider Jesus over here, how the fuck did that happen?
Legion would only realize who he was due to either hearing Jeff's name, or because Jeff tried to speak with them. They all really just know him as the mural dude, but it's still shocking to see him there.
In terms of the trials, I feel like although they wouldn't necessarily spare Jeff, I feel like they'd go easier on him compared to the other survivors. Not so much out of guilt or anything, these guys are assholes, but more so out of respect.
A part of me really wishes the killers and survivors had voice lines like Wesker, cause I feel like it would add a LOT to them, especially if there were personalized lines between survivor-killer pairings like Legion and Jeff. Nothing too crazy, but just, something that hints towards them knowing each other.
Idkkk I just needed to word vomit this out or else my brain would explode, go ahead and share your thoughts on this cause I'd love to hear em

All Of Me {Part 09 of 13}
Tumblr media
Pairing: Robby Keene X Reader
Chapter word count: 1.2 K
Summary: Being the new girl in the Valley wasn't as bad as you expected, and you were finding your place when the dynamite you were living into exploded. You were kicked out of your house by your stepfather with nothing but a backpack with a few pieces of clothing. There was nowhere to go, and you were preparing yourself to spend the night in the streets when a guy finds you. After being invited to crash at his place, you didn't know the war you were walking into. A war you became determined to end.

Masterplan
Robby rings the bell, and you exchange a nervous look. “I think something is burning,” You say in a low voice, hearing a curse coming from inside.
“He was going to make pasta. I think we'll just have to order something.“ He says, just as the door opens.
“Hey,” Johnny says, a hand in his pocket as he looks at Robby, then at you. “Come on in. Robby never brought any girlfriend to meet me. Must be a good sign.” He steps aside and you both walk in. Robby guides you to the couch, and you sit down next to him. “I'll call a pizza place. The pasta is–”
“How do you manage to burn pasta?” Robby asks.
“I forgot it was there.”
“How do you–.” He's cut short by the cellphone ring. Robby picks it up, then looks at you. “I'll have to answer it, give me a minute.” You nod and he gets up, disappearing further into the house.
Then, you're left alone with Johnny, who looks through a small notebook, eyebrows furrowed. “I have a food delivery app. I could just order it.”
“Yeah, I've heard of that. But this place isn't in it.”
“Let me check. What's the name?” Johnny passes you the restaurant's name, and three minutes later, the food is ordered, and it says it'll get here in half an hour. “See? It's easy.”
“I rather do things the old way.”
“Yup.” You mutter, putting the phone back in your pocket. “So... How's the Eagle Fang?”
“We're ready to take Cobra Kai down.” At that, you simply nod. “Are you going to compete? If the new subdivision is made?”
Sighing, you shake your head. “No. I don't think Robby will, either.” Sensei Kreese and Silver are hopeful about the new subdivision, hoping to get their best students, now eighteen, to fight again. “I guess this whole fight among the dojos is tiring him.”
”I'm only in this because I need to take them down. Kreese and Silver are too dangerous. If I let them, they create an army of dickheads all over the Valley.”
He's not wrong... The Senseis are very strict, you can't deny that. “I get that, but... They helped me, you know? So maybe they're not... That evil?”
“Think. What could you possibly offer to them?”
“Offer?” The question makes your brain start working. “It couldn't be money... Even though my mother said something about the Senseis asking her to give me some? It doesn't make sense.”
“They don't need money. Gotta be something–” A loud beep cuts him short, and Johnny bends over to take his old phone from the coffee table. You wouldn't give it much attention, ready to take your phone to have some distraction, but the way his face changes makes you furrow your eyebrows. “What's your stepfather's name?”
“What?" The question is so unexpected that it takes a while for you to process it. “Philip. Philip Greyson.”
Jonny doesn't say anything, just hands you over his phone, and your eyes are quick to read the text Mr. LaRusso sent him. “Philip Greyson was the vote they needed to approve the new subdivision.”
“I really don't... ” You're still speaking when another text comes, and you just open it, without thinking too much. It's a picture of a news website. And it shows Philip behind a desk, a half-smile on his lips... Under the desk, you can see that his entire left leg is in a cast. “They got what they wanted.” You mutter before giving him the phone back. “This is my fault.” Feeling your eyes fill with tears, you get up. “He has more students than you and Miyagi-Do put together. He knows the odds are in his favor.“
“Everything alright?” Robby asks, coming from the hall. “What happened?”
“The Senseis used me. They were nice just because they needed Philip to approve the new subdivision for students over eighteen. They broke his leg! It has to be their doing.”
“What?” He immediately comes, wrapping his arms around you. “We'll fix this. I don't know how, but we will. Cobra Kai won't win.”
“How? They have the numbers. They have double the students.”
“We need to gather everyone for this,” Johnny says, bringing the phone to his ear. “LaRusso. Call the kids, we need to talk.” He makes a pause. “Of course, now. Do you think I'd waste my time calling you if it wasn't urgent?”
“I'll cancel the food.” You say, grabbing your phone to do just that.
An hour later, you're at Miyagi-Do, hungry and getting stressed out because of your empty stomach. Seated on the wooden deck, you look at the grey clouds above. “It'll rain,” Robby says, and you look at him.
“Good. It's a hot day and I'd love to dance in the rain.” It's an attempt to lighten up the mood a little bit.
He chuckles. “If you'll dance in the rain, I'll dance in the rain.”
That makes you smile. “Sounds like a date.”
“Alright, what's going on?” LaRusso says, the moment she slides the door open. The rest of the students are right behind him.
And Johnny tells him everything, and you, knowing this shit is all your fault, keep your mouth shut. “The only way to destroy Cobra Kai once and for all is to defeat Kreese and Silver. But with this new subdivision... The numbers are on his side.” LaRusso says, hands on his hips.
“And more students are joining every day,” Sam adds.
You planned to keep quiet, but LaRusso's speech feels... Wrong. In more aspects than one. “We have a problem.” You speak up, all eyes set on you.
“We do,” Hawk mutters, crossing his arms. “If you found another one, we better know what it is before it comes to bite our asses.”
You know he thought the same, and you nod at him. “Do you really think Kreese and Silver will keep their promise?”
Johnny and LaRusso exchange a glance. “He did say Cobra Kai would cease to exist if any of our dojos win.”
“Another problem right there.” You add, stepping forward, and gesturing at Johnny. “I don't think that's fair. Mr. Lawrence worked hard to make Cobra Kai a thing again, and I don't think it should just disappear. It should go back to its owner.”
“Yeah, but the original owner isn't me. It's Kreese.” Johnny says.
“Not if we make a contract of some kind,” Robby speaks, and you look at him. It's a good idea. “Official papers that he will sign, and if he decides to break his word, we can sue. Both of them.”
“Not both, only Kreese,” Johnny says, furrowing his eyebrows. “I've seen the dojo's papers. Silver is an associate, but Kreese is still the head of the dojo. It's his signature we need.”
As he speaks, an idea pops into your head, and it starts to take form. It's the best plan you could come up with, and, if carefully played, it will fix everything. For good. It makes you smile, a wicked smile that slowly has everyone looking at you again. “What's with the villain grin?” Hawk asks.
“I just had the idea that will give Cobra Kai back to Johnny.” You simply say, shrugging your shoulders.
For a while, nobody says anything, until Hawk, as usual, speaks up. “Well, are you saying it or not?”

Hey could you do headcanons for shinso, bakugo, kirishima, and denki (separate) for moving to America and having a random roommate (fem or gender neutral) that’s really hyper and sweet and caring but will also kick someone’s ass and they boys end up falling in love with the roommate and they become a couple and chose to stay in America? Like after they graduate UA and are like College age or aged up lol! If you don’t mind!! Thank youuu!!!
MY FIRST REQUEST YAY 🤸🏻‍♀️
I didn't write all of this myself. Only about half of this writing is actually mine. A friend and I collaborated on this project so the writing style is a bit different. I hope this will satisfy your request. It's was so much fun to write. Enjoy 😄
Warning: there is some cussing in this but besides that, we all good 😘
Denki Kaminari
Very eager to move to America, I mean - it's so different!!!! The people are so nice! (and the girls are really /really/ cute)
So when he's told that he's getting partnered up with a random person, he's exited to see who!
Maybe it'll be a chill dude that he can play video games, maybe they'll be a potential future best bro, maybe - maybe...
Maybe it'll be a girl...
With scattered expectations, he unlocks the room and awkwardly walks through the door, and there you are.
you stand there, and Denki doesn't know if it's the way the sunlight bounces off of your skin, or the way you smile /so/ warmly at him, but his heart starts racing a mile a minute when you greet him with a handshake and a "How's it going?"
Denki almost forgets his own name as he holds out his hand, gulping down the knot in his throat as he fumbles to greet you back; his English not the best but still enough to hold up a conversation.
He just hopes you don't notice how red his cheeks flared when you showed him around the room.
Denki staggers into his new place and just follows you as you show him around only really bothering to listen to your voice and not the actual words your saying. But when you tell him to make himself at home and ask him if he wants something to eat he'll answer with a shaky "yes" and go to grab his bags he left by the door. But when he get there he's just like
🧍🏻‍♂️ 'where tf my stuff go?' So he just absent mindedly walks over to his room and ✨Woah✨ His stuff is already in his room? His heavy ass stuff? Damn 😫. but then he notices the plate of freshly baked cookies and he just picks one up like "damn it's still warm" *bite* and like his brain explodes because they taste so homie and like ✨ FUCKING DELICIOUS✨ So when you knock on the door and announce your coming in, you see him sitting on his bed, phone in hand with 3 cookies in his mouth at once. And you stand there in the doorway, watching as he slowly puts another cookie in his mouth while keeping intense eye contact with you. And instead of being disgusted or weirded out, you crack a smile.
"That good, huh?"
He almost had a heart attack when you brought in some more cookies later on.
Denki learned early on that oh my god you are strong as fuck
his favorite activity is pretending that he can't open jars or lift a random thing, JUST to bask in the way you so casually pick it up or open it like a Bad Bitch™
There was one time he had challenged you to a wrestling match, and Denki's a pretty slippery guy so he's pretty sure he's got this in the bag
What he didn't forsee, was you kicking the back of his knees, kneeling him on the ground and having him in a death grip headlock in less then 5 seconds
He had never been turned on more in his entire life
Loves pranking you, you'd think he'd learn from the last time where he pretended to be a ghost and jumped you in your room (to which you almost broke his arm) but he still does it, you now open every door with caution, and every now and then you get him back by replacing all the food in the fridge with spinach
But behind all the pranks and mischief, Denki still feels the fireworks go off in his chest everytime you smile at him, Whenever you patch up his wounds after a particularly hard day, he feels the heat rush to his cheeks whenever he sees how sweet and giving you are, whenever you go out of your way to help someone out, how really truly amazing you are.
He feels hopeless.
Sure hes has crushes on girls before but never like this.
And whenever he looks at you, he can't help but feel that you deserve someone else.
Someone better.
He's not that handsome.
He's not that smart.
He doesn't really have anything worthwhile about him.
So why does he try?
Why does he try so hard to see your smile or hear your laugh? he knows that he doesn't have a chance with you. And he doesn't want to ruin the awesome friendship you guys have.
But a guy can hope right?
So that's what led him to walking with you around the park as the sun slowly set and the city slowly fell asleep.
How the hell was he supposed to tell you that he was madly in love with you?
When he finally gets the perfect opportunity to tell you its during a festival fireworks show. You both are sitting on your favorite bench at the park waiting for the fireworks to start. Thinking about what he has to do, he's prepared for the risk that he's taking. But as he's preparing his speech in his head making sure that he's ready, he notices you start to get all fidgety and nervous looking. You were always so calm and collected, taking time to think things through and acting on a plan. Nothing with you was ever haphazard. So this was definitely new. He took a deep breath and just as he was about to speak you opened your mouth. This is when he heard your voice like he never had before. It was soft, nervous, you sounded legitimately frightened yet there was just a hint of your usual confidence behind it all and he was utterly shocked at what you had to say.
"Listen, uh, I hope this isn't weird for you and if you don't feel the same way I totally understand but I like you Denki. I've liked you for a long time and well I- I THINK I LOVE YOU" You looked away from him not daring to meet his eyes after what you just said.
"Y/n I-" He was shocked. He knew that he had to tell you he felt the same way. Tell you that he loved you ever since he met you. But no words came out. So instead he turned your face towards him gently and planted a soft kiss on your lips. Then he handed you a small box. He nodded for you to open it and when you did there was a beautiful ring inside
(free range of imagination here)
You looked at the ring and then at him and smiled a brighter smile then he had ever seen. "It's a promise ring. I bought it a few months back when I planned on telling you the same thing." And with that he was suffocated in a tight hug from you before you held out your hand for him to place the ring in it's rightful place on your finger.
Hitoshi Shinsou:
Honestly part of him was pretty excited to move to America. New place, New people, new experiences and he was pretty fluent in English. But the lazy part of him didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of traveling.
And because the was Shinsou of course there were complications: his flight was cancelled, then when he got to the states he got snowed in for 3 days at some random city waiting for his flight, Again. And his luggage got lost (but luckily was found).
So when he finally got to his new home he was already fed up. But to put the cherry on top he had to spend 15 minutes outside the house in the snow waiting for you and open the door
That's when he saw you. Shuffling down the sidewalk with a couple grocery bags in hand. All bundled up like a little snow man. When you saw him you walked as fast as the snow would allow you. Once you were close enough you held out your hand blurting out apologies and asking how long he was out here before unlocking the door and welcoming him inside.
Something about you made all the previous annoyances disappear as he set his bags down by the door and hung his coat up where you previously directed him. The smell of the house was wonderful like snicker doodle cookies and when he peeked into the kitchen where you had ran off to, he could see some sitting on the counter on a pretty plate.
He watched as you haphazardly wandered around the kitchen in persuit of hot chocolate.
Once it was made you guided him to the living room where you placed the cookies and steaming mugs on the coffee table. More apologies spilling from your lips as you promised to show him around after he warmed up.
He didn't understand why he felt the way he did: so warm and at home here with you, even though it had only been a few minutes since he stepped through the door
Being in America was a stark contrast to japan, but he enjoyed it.
And you guys, being roommates, started talking, of course both of you being quite busy, there weren’t many moments to wind down, but nonetheless, Shinsou enjoyed your company. you were fun to be around and he actually looked forward to the moments he’d get with you.
Of course people were still annoying as ever, but it was less of a bother when you by his side to infodump about the latest thing you learned.
Your nice. And he doesn’t really get to say that about a lot of people.
Your nice. Your like, the most nicest person he’s ever met.
He just hopes that you’ll keep being nice.
And even though he has to excuse himself from the table or couch everytime you compliment him or hug him, even though he doesn’t look like he’s listening, or even if it doesn’t seem like he cares, he does. A lot.
Cause your affection always is a surprise to him. A very welcome one though.
He doesn’t really expect you to be so cheerful to talk to him, he doesn’t expect you to be so eager to help him out.
And when he tells you about his quirk, he certainly didn’t expect you to /praise/ him. To still not hesitate to imitate or answer his questions after that.
To actually still like him.
It makes his heart skip a beat and his throat feel tight.
He wants to grab you by the shoulders and scream, or kiss you, he doesn’t know - feelings are complicated.
I mean- Do you even like him?! Or are you just putting up with him??
Either way, no matter how much it burns in his throat, He didn’t wanna lose you.
But you can’t keep your feelings locked up forever, right?
When Shinsou confessed to you it was entirely by accident. He had gotten up early that morning for patrol and stayed out for most of the day. You hadthe day off and went out to run errands so you weren't home when he got back from a relatively slow day of hero work. So he decided to make dinner. Traditional Japanese Food. Damn if you didn't love Shinsou's cooking. So you get back home walk through the door mumbling about lines and traffic as you hang up your coat and suddenly your like "Damn this fucking delicious smell 😤" You peer into the kitchen and see Shinsou just finishing dinner. He turns around and notices you standing by the door. "Oh good your back I just finished making dinner."
"Great. I'm starving." You reply making your way towards the bathroom to wash up before you sit down to eat. As you two eat you talk about your days and that's when you crack a joke. And both of you start laughing, like genuine hysterical laughter. You finish laughing just before he does, just soon enough to hear him say quietly, "God I love you." And you just look over at him with a mouth full of rice like 😳. And it takes him a minute to catch his breath before he just looks at you like 🤨. "What did I...😳" *Insert mutual embarrassment*
"D-Did you really mean that." You asked noticing the way that the hint of pink on his cheeks turned rose. He just nodded and stared down at his food. He didn't want to lose you, his closest friend and the love of his life. "Oh... I love you too, Hitoshi." You two finish dinner quietly, and afterwards, you venture to the living room to watch some TV. Shinsou goes off to his room and your just sitting all cozy on the couch like 😕 "well that was anticlimactic". But, a few minutes later Shinsou comes back into the living room and you, being so absorbed in your show, don't notice. Shinsou quietly grabs the remote and mutes the TV and you just look at him like 😒. "Hey! I was watching that." You complain and Shinsou just gives you the small box you hadn't noticed in his hand.
"Here I uh, got this a while back. I wasn't sure how I was going to tell you but, I really do love you and I was wondering if you'd be my girlfriend?"
"Of course I'll be your girlfriend..." You open the box and inside is a beautiful ring. Shinsou simply gives you a little smile.
"It's a promise ring. I-" He starts but gets interrupted by you pulling him down and placing a soft kiss on his lips.
"I think it's beautiful 'Toshi"

[ENG] Love is mine Voice Drama
Tumblr media
Mahiru: [humming]
Es: [footsteps]
Mahiru: I wonder when the prison guard will arrive…
Es: [enters] Sorry for making you wait, prisoner number 6, Mahiru.
Mahiru: Ah, no. It’s okay. I only just got here.
Es: What?
Mahiru: [giggles] Just then, it felt like I was waiting for my date to arrive. Kinda made my heart flutter.
Es: I’m not exactly one to talk, but… I’m surprised that you can say such a thing despite being in this prison.
Mahiru: Really~? But, this unfamiliar setting makes things super romantic, you know? Thanks to it, every day has been such a delight.
Es: [sighs] What a carefree spirit you are.
Mahiru: Ah! I get that a lot.
Es: Do you fully understand the situation you’re in, Mahiru? You’re a prisoner who’s killed someone. You weren’t brought here to have fun.
Mahiru: Killed someone… I guess I did… I can’t really deny it, can I?
Es: With that being said, from on, I shall be conducting this interrogation with the purpose of revealing your sins. This sort of situation is anything, but romantic.
Mahiru: Sin… My sin… I guess so.
Es: Milgram exists to reveal the sins of you, prisoners, and to hand down the appropriate judgement. So, for that reason, talk to me for a bit.
Mahiru: Talk? Yay, let’s talk! Let’s talk! Prison guard, are you interested in me? That makes me so happy!
Es: Hmph. Trying to get me to go off track like that is futile. All of you prisoners do the exact same thing… Can't believe I always fall for it.
Mahiru: What are you muttering to yourself about?
Es: Nothing. [clears throat] I shall begin the interrogation now. Let’s see. First off—
Mahiru: I’ll start! I’m Mahiru Shina, 22 years old. I might not be much good at anything, but please be kind to me.
Es: I’ll be the one asking the questions here! Ugh, no. I know exactly what’ll happen after that from Yuno’s interrogation. It’ll be okay. Just gotta calm down.
Mahiru: Right. Now it’s your turn, prison guard.
Es: What?
Mahiru: What’s your name? Your age?
Es: [hesitates]
Mahiru: What’s your name? Your age?
Es: It’s Es. As for my age, I’m… 15, I think.
Mahiru: 15 years old! And, you’re a prison guard at that age, are you? Despite being so young, you’re so admirable. If anything’s troubling you, you can talk it over with ‘big sis’ here, okay?
Es: Hey, Mahiru. Why do I have to answer—
Mahiru: Hey, hey! Is Es your real name? Could it be that you’re not Japanese? Don't you have a surname or anything?
Es: I-I don’t know. It doesn’t matter. I’m Es. I don’t know anything other than that, and I don’t need to either.
Mahiru: What? You mean you have amnesia? Oh, you poor thing. Are sure you’re not curious about it? About yourself, I mean.
Es: Not a bit. I just tackle the work I have at hand. Sparing myself of any unnecessary information helps me concentrate better.
Mahiru: Huh? But, I’m so curious about you, prison guard. Come on, let’s do it! Let’s get to know more about you, prison guard.
Es: Get to know… about me?
[piercing sound]
Mahiru: Prison guard? What’s wrong?
Es: [hesitates]
Mahiru: Hey… Prison guard?
Es: Oh… yeah. Uh… I apologise for that.
Mahiru: Did you zone out just then? This job must be pretty difficult, so you might be mentally burned out from work. Herbal tea’s good for that, you know? Oh! Like ginkgo tea—they say it helps improve brain function.
Es: Oh, is that so? I’ll try a bit then… I mean, no! Enough about me. We’re in the middle of an interrogation at the moment.
Mahiru: Aw, what? But, it was just getting fun.
Es: I mean, why are you asking me questions anyway? Know your place here.
Mahiru: But… But, you know, prison guard… I think having a mutual understanding of each other is pretty important. Prison guard, you want to know more about me, right?
Es: Well… Something like that.
Mahiru: That makes me so happy! Ah… No, that’s not what I was meant to say… In order for you to do that, getting to know each other would be the first step. Don’t you think? If I get to know lots about you, prison guard, then there will be more things I want to talk to you about.
Es: Hm. That’s true. I guess that sort of approach might be quite effective on some people.
Mahiru: Exactly! So, first things first, you should gather up all your courage and be completely transparent about yourself. Doing so will make your partner feel at ease, and they’ll start opening up about themselves more.
Es: Is that so? ‘Self-disclosure reciprocity’ as we call it then? But, well…  Isn’t this quite the surprise? I didn’t expect you to be so well-versed on matters related to the human psyche.
Mahiru: Huh? S-self-disclosure reciprocity?
Es: In order to gain a deeper understanding of you, prisoners, I was trying to add whatever I could to my stock of knowledge. It was mentioned in one of the publications I read during that time.
Mahiru: Really~? Prison guard, you’ve read it too? I’ve also read that one. That issue titled 1000 Kanto Girls’ Views on Love was so good, wasn’t it?
Es: [hesitates] What on earth is that?
Mahiru: What? So, you haven’t read it? Lain’s (1) special collection of romantic techniques!
Es: Lain?
Mahiru: Yeah! Lain. It’s my favourite thing to read. “Fashion, trends, fortune-telling. This special collection on romance has articles about everything. If you wanna make yourself sparkle even more... Then, this women's magazine will help you get there!”
Es: [sighs] So, it was all just a misunderstanding. Ignore what I said earlier then.
Mahiru: Oh, that’s right! Prison guard, are you interested in romance at all? I wanna talk about it with you. You’re 15, aren’t you? Right in the heat of adolescence! Do you have anyone you like?
Es: I honestly have no interest in those matters.
Mahiru: What? No, no. There’s no such thing as that. Being in love is like a landmine. It'll explode someday, you know? The only thing that differs is whether it happens earlier or later in life. It’ll happen to you too. Even if you don’t have any interest in it now, one day it’ll explode for you as well. All because you’ll have that fateful encounter with your special someone.
Es: You sure do run your mouth a lot, don't you?
Mahiru: Yeah, yeah. You’ll deny it at first. I mean, I was like that as well. Before then, I always admired soap operas and shoujo manga because I thought that they depicted a world different from our own.
Es: I don’t completely understand what you’re saying, but… Being in love and loving someone—are they really that important?
Mahiru: They are.
Es: Hm.
Mahiru: They are… More so than anything else.
Es: I see now. [shifts] So, for you… that’s what it is. Prisoner number 6, Mahiru.
Mahiru: Hm? What is?
Es: Somehow… After interrogating several people, I’ve started to get a rough idea of it. What you lot cherish, that is.
Mahiru: So, what I cherish is ‘love’—is that what you’re saying? [giggles] Correct! It’s not like I was trying to cover it up or anything though.
Es: Very well, does your homicide stem from love too?
Mahiru: [pauses] I… guess it did. I think it was love.
Es: So, because of love, you killed someone?
Mahiru: I suppose… you’re right?
Es: I see. So, you became a murderer as a result of some relationship conflicts? Jealousy… Grudges… Having your partner stolen from you… Those stories aren't all that uncommon now are they?
Mahiru: You’re wrong. It wasn’t that. I…never even wanted to kill anyone in the first place!
Es: [pauses]
Mahiru: I just… I was… just being myself
Es: What do you mean by that?
Mahiru: [pauses] Not telling. After all, I still don’t know you that well, prison guard.
Es: Hm. We should have a “mutual understanding” of each other, right?
Mahiru: [giggles] Exactly!
Es: A troublesome one, aren’t you. But, that's fine with me. What are your own thoughts about it then? Do you think what you’ve done could be forgiven? Or was it absolutely unforgivable?
Mahiru: Hmm. If you can’t forgive me for what I’ve done, then there’s no point in living—to be honest. [laughs]
Es: So, if you can't kill anyone, there’s no point in you living—is that what you mean? My, oh, my… What a dangerous species you are.
Mahiru: Oh, no! Uh… Those words actually sound kinda scary now that I think about it. I don’t want to kill anyone or do anything of the sort! But…
Es: Hm
Mahiru: It's because I've… decided that I’m going to live for the sake of love.
Es: For the sake of love?
Mahiru: I… discovered how amazing it was to be in love with someone. It’s incredible, you know? Each and every day seemed to sparkle and everything became so vibrant. It transforms such mundane sceneries into those out of soap operas and films!
Es: I didn’t follow any of that.
Mahiru: [disappointed] I have a pretty poor vocabulary, so I can't describe it beyond clichéd phrases. But, I’m sure you’ll understand, prison guard! Once you fall in love, you’ll definitely get it!
Es: Well, I wonder.
Mahiru: Being in love is… If there was no such thing as love, then my life would be so bland. So, if you say that I won't be allowed it anymore, then there’s no point in me living.
Es: Even if your love killed someone?
Mahiru: You’re so mean, aren’t you?
Es: It was your love which killed someone, right? Despite that, will you still try to love another person?
Mahiru: [thinks] Actually,  I was hoping you could tell me the answer to that, prison guard... If what I did was unforgivable.
Es: What?
Mahiru: If my love could possibly kill someone, then I… shouldn't ever love another person again, I guess?
Es: [pauses]
Mahiru: Hey, prison guard, please tell me. If I love someone, is that something unforgivable?
Es: I don’t know. From the beginning, I never really understood what you were saying.
Mahiru: Oh, I see... I guess so. There's something wrong with me, right? You can't understand me, right?
Es: Yeah… as of now.
Mahiru: Huh?
Es: As of now, I don't understand you—that’s what I’m saying. But, I will soon. Just wait and see.
Mahiru: [excited]
Es: To be honest, the topics brought up in this interrogation were entirely outside my area of expertise. And, for that reason, I might have to deepen my understanding of it—just as you said.
Mahiru: Prison guard…
Es: I’m your prison guard. Even if I have an aversion to something or if there’s something I can’t understand, I won’t just hopelessly give up on you like that… Not until I’ve judged your sins, and decided on whether I forgive them or not.
Mahiru: [happy] Does that mean you’ll always keep your eyes on me?
Es: What? Well, it’s my duty after all.
Mahiru: [exclaims]
Es: What is it?
Mahiru: My heart skipped a beat.
Es: Just what on earth are you saying?
Mahiru: I… guess I love people who are so enthusiastic about their work.
Es: You… You’re messing with me, aren’t you?
Mahiru: Ah, this isn’t good. Be careful, okay? Um… Um… If you’re that kind to me, you could die as well. Just—kidding?
Es: I wasn’t trying to be kind to you or anything like that. I just downright, from beginning to end, had no idea what you were saying. However, I will promise you this. Rest assured. No matter what you do or what you think, I won’t die.
Mahiru: [happy sound]
Es: Because I’m Milgram’s prison guard—that’s why.
Mahiru: [exclaims]
[mechanical noises]
Mahiru: W-what is this? Is it because my love exploded?
Es: No. It’s the end of the interrogation. For goodness sake… And as always, things never go as I planned, do they? With you prisoners, I mean.
Mahiru: Uh… Um… This is what’ll be extracting songs, right? But, I’m not that good at singing though?
Es: It won't necessarily be you the one singing. Your mental landscape will present itself in the form of songs and videos—that’s all.
Mahiru: So, you're gonna see everything… That's a little embarrassing.
Es: Well, I don't know about that. The personal experiences I see, how true-to-life the videos are and their degree of abstraction—that all depends on the person. They might even depend on how each of you perceives your own sins.
Mahiru: Is that so?
Es: Either way, I intend to find out what this world of yours looks like.
Mahiru: I see. I see. I wanna watch it too. Because, for me, a world filled with love will be such a beautiful place. Oh! Prison guard, I’m sure you’ll understand how amazing love is through it as well.
Es: Hmm. I’m looking forward to it.
Mahiru: Huh? That was unusually sincere of you.
Es: I just have a thirst for knowledge, that's all. Learning things you didn't know before is quite fun, don't you think? In order for me to understand the lot of you, I have to acquire knowledge from various fields. And, that's not exactly a bad thing in my books.
Mahiru: Really? I… guess I love studious people as well.
Es: Shut it.
Mahiru: You’re so mean.
Es: [sighs] The way I let you talk non-stop like that, it makes me feel like I didn't do my job properly. But, I'll ask you this just in case. Is there anything left you'd like to say?
Mahiru: Ah… Um… Just one thing.
Es: Oh wow. You still have more to say?
Mahiru: Um… Uh, you know… Would it be okay for me to call you ‘Es’?
Es: No comment! [footsteps] Prisoner number 6, Mahiru. Come now. Sing your sins!
As far as I’m aware, this isn’t a real publication, so unless Mahiru states the official romanisation of this author/publisher, I can only assume what it might be. I’ll update it if she does. Some alternatives might be Lane, Rein, Rain, Layne, etc. Don’t quote me on this, but I suspect that they might’ve based the magazine Mahiru reads on ‘Laurier Press’. ‘Lain’ looks similar to ‘Laurier’, so that’s why I chose it.

Hard Pass P3 (Levi X Reader)
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Levi is forced out of his comfy dorm room and in a strange twist of events right into your arms at a college party.
Levi was relieved for the silence as he clicked away at his keyboard. Mike had gone to his only late class of the entire week. Which meant Levi could actually study in his room.
The scent of tea and the small aroma diffuser on his desk as well as the open window in front of him welcomed a nice calming smell that was normally masked by Mike's gym bags and sweaty clothes. Which reminded Levi of the laundry he would have to do soon.
He pressed his tea cup to his lips feeling a twinge of irritation as he was interrupted by two knocks on the door. He looked down at the time. 6:15. A little too early for Mike to be back complaining that he'd forgotten his keys.
Then it was probably one of his girls complaining that she'd left her shit in the room. If Levi had a dollar for the amount of times that had happened he could pay for a new roommate.
The next couple knocks were a bit louder. "Levi? It's Y/N.."
Y/N?!
His face practically exploded. He stood far too fast because just as quickly he was flopping over his stupid desk chair and hitting the floor with a hard thud. He gasped audibly tugging at his knee and gritting his teeth.
"Levi? Are you ok?" Came her voice again.
He pulled himself up with a huff and staggered over to the door. Unsurprisingly he had to limp. With a quick turn of the lock he yanked open the door right into his forehead. God fucking dammit.
He groaned in a mix of fury and disgust partially because he'd idiotically stood so close when opening the door and partially because he hated the stupid inanimate object.
"Oh my god! Are you ok?" Y/N gasped, squeezing herself inside and shutting the door behind her. "Let me see? Did you hit your eye?" She asked
Her fingers were so delicate as she brushed aside his hands. So close.. Her thumb traced the already appearing red spot on his forehead. Soo close.. She brushed his hair to the side cupping his cheeks to gently reposition his head towards the light. Close....
She breathed out a little chuckle. "It's probably gonna bruise."
Levi barely registered her words. Occupied with her beautiful eyes illuminating moonlight and the dim lights in his room. His lips parted ever so slightly. When her hands fell away he gulped and jerked his head back. Trying to find literally anything to take the edge off.
"I'll.. go find you an ice pack, ok?" Y/N began already heading for the door.
"K-knee.." Levi tried and mentally cursed himself.
"Huh?" She asked, turning back.
"M-my.. t-two please.."
Her smile was gentle, "Two ice packs. Got it." And with a little wave she was out the door. Her lingering touch still causing heat to pool in Levi's chest.
~~~~
"Aww sweetie, are you sure you're ok?"
He was not. Definitely not. One of her hands was on his uninjured knee and the other was brushing his hair away from the ice pack. He didn't even know if he'd breathed in the last 20 minutes. His brain echoing the word sweetie.
The two of you had been sat on his bed as he uncomfortably laid his head back on the wall. Trying and failing to not fixate on your touch. Every brush of your fingertips was downright intoxicating.
"You look kinda red. Do you wanna try seeing a doctor or something?"
"N-no.." It was barely audible but he knew she heard when she nodded.
If there was a hole nearby he would crawl into it and never come out. Though he also didn't wanna move as the fear of making this situation worse for himself stayed ever present.
"Let me see?" He partially removed the ice pack from his forehead, spine tingling over the way she sucked in a breath. "You should be more careful."
Levi didn't answer. Just squeezed his legs closer together and sighed. In all the time he'd been in this room he'd never hit himself in the face with the door. Just what kind of power did this girl have over him.
"I know because my little cousin has done stuff like this but you should put some cream on the bump so that it doesn't get redder and it'll go down faster."
Little cousin? That wasn't a fair comparison. Little kids do stupid things cause they're kids. Did she think about him that way? Uggghhhh.
He was yanked from his thoughts by her hand coming down to squeeze his. "Are you positive you're ok? Do you need anything else?"
"I-I'm fine.."
Just as Levi said that his attention was brought to the door. Mike had barely stepped into the room and he was already grinning like a fucking idiot.
"Well, hello." He greeted, stepping closer. "Levi, you didn't tell me you were inviting anyone over. Especially not a pretty girl."
Y/N's chuckle was nervous, "Hello, you must be Levi's roommate." She stuck her hand out which Mike immediately took placing one hand on top of their joined hands.
"And you must be Y/N." He said "I've heard so much about you."
His teasing was met with a glare that could slice concrete. If Levi had known Mike was gonna come straight back to the room he definitely would've gotten rid of Y/N sooner.
"Oh? Really?" Y/N turned to look at Levi behind her. "You told him about me?" It was a split second thing but Levi could've sworn her features softened.
"Oh, no I meant Hange." Mike replied
"Oh."
Oh? Was she disappointed? It sounded disappointed? Did she want Levi to talk about her?
"But at no point did Hange tell me you were this pretty. Neither did Levi honestly, I'm kinda disappointed."
Alright that's enough of that. Levi stood. Placing the ice packs on his bed.
"You should probably leave." He gritted his teeth at how harshly it came out.
Now Mike was letting go of Y/N's hand. "Oh wait! I came to get my phone. Hange said you had it."
Levi blinked. He'd almost forgotten about that. It had been sitting on his desk since yesterday. His knee was screeching in absolute horror as he staggered his way over to his desk.
"What the hell happened to you?" Mike asked, clearly trying to hold back a snicker.
"Aw, it was an accident. I scared him."
Levi returned with the phone shooting daggers into Mike who pretended not to notice.
"Thank you." She breathed a sigh of relief.
"Y-yeah.."
"Did you put your number into it?"
Levi's face perked up a little. "Yes."
"Ok, then I'll text you later." She assured, brushing her finger tips over his forehead once again. "Goodnight boys." And with those last words she took off.
"Faking an injury?! I didn't think you had it in you!" Mike celebrated as soon as she was gone.
"Dickhead." Levi scoffed.
"Hey, is that any way to talk to the best friend who just confirmed your biggest fear moot?" Mike plopped down on his bed with a playful huff.
Levi flopped down into his desk chair, staring up at the ceiling. "One you're definitely not my best friend especially after that shit. And two I'm not you I don't fake shit to get girls."
"That would totally be hurtful if it wasn't true." Mike shrugged "I meant the fact that she doesn't have a boyfriend."
Levi practically flipped himself out of his chair. "How do you assume that."
"Simple. Hange told me about her ex boyfriend. By the way it was probably that guy that took her from the library that day. And Hange says that a lot of guys find Y/N attractive. Because of this her ex got too overprotective and they broke up. But he had no reason to be because Y/N would always tell people she had a boyfriend or at least around Hange she did."
Levi stared at his barely drunk tea. The liquid probably cold after being left on the table so long. So she had dated that guy.. He had been so tall and pretty muscular looking, was that her type? She didn't seem like she was going to get back together with him.. but he was still around.
"All I'm saying is she seems loyal. You better snatch her up before someone else does or she gets back together with her ex."
His attention was drawn away by his phone softly buzzing on his table. He pressed the on button, swiping his pin and clicking the notification as it popped up.
Hey Levi, it's Y/N.
Listen ik you said you're ok but I bought you some cream just in case. I'll bring it to you tm ;)
His heart fluttered and ached remembering her touch and her kind words. If he didn't full blown know Mike was staring at him he would probably hug his phone.
~~~~
Too much time had passed and suddenly the whole school was on break. Levi had been dreading this. Not because he was a workaholic like Mike claimed but because he knew Hange was gonna drag him away and make him vacation.
And no form of vacation could possibly be more relaxing for him than curling up in bed with some books, doing some casual cleaning, and drinking tea with light music playing at all times. Mike was definitely going home during this time so it'd be the perfect way to spend his break.
But Hange's family owned a couple lodges and that meant another year of begging for Levi to come ski and freeze his fingers and toes off.
"Come on, Levi!"
"Absolutely not."
"Erwin!" Hange called to him where he sat on Levi's bed, scrolling through his phone.
"You knew he was going to say no." Erwin replied
"Which is why I brought you to help me make my case." Hange complained
"You clearly made an error in judgment then." Erwin retorted
Mike laughed from where he was laying on his own bed. "Might as well give it up Hange, Levi is just too stubborn about this. We all know he wants to be close to all my junk while I'm gone cause he'll miss me."
"I wouldn't hesitate to tell your stalker where you're going over break." Levi spat
"She'll figure it out anyway. She's a high class stalker. And I'm not her first." The room fell in uncomfortable silence but Mike just leaned back giving his full attention to his phone screen.
"That disturbing remark aside.." Erwin began shaking his head. "I'm going."
"And that's supposed to change my mind? How'd Hange force you into it?"
"It may stun you but I chose to go through with this all on my own. There are studies that claim it's good for the mind to get away from normality during breaks or away from your comfort zone to properly clear your mind. It'll also help you make less mistakes when classes resume."
Hange smiled, "Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking."
Levi rolled his eyes. "If I go you can't beg me next year." Hange's loud shrill screeching made Levi's heart drop out of his ass.
"Finally!!" Hange screamed in excitement as she wrapped her arms around Levi's neck.
"Get off already! You're such a pest!"
And that was how Levi ended up on a train for almost three long hours with Hange blabbering on about nothing and Erwin sat in the seat across from the two of them listening to podcasts while staring out the window of his own very sad music video.
And all of the crap Erwin had spewed about getting away being more relaxing proved to be completely from the ass as Levi shivered along wrapped in two scarves, a pair of gloves, his long green coat that fell around his ankles and a winter hat plopped over his ears.
"Walk faster Levi! Is that the best your little legs can do?!" Hange called, somehow racing her way up the slope with three bags. One that wasn't even hers
Levi grunted in irritation. Not only were they walking up a hill but it was covered in snow so deep that every step felt like he was falling.
"Do you need help?" Erwin asked, not waiting for Levi to respond as he hoisted the overnight bag off his shoulders.
Levi just huffed. "I swear Hange was made in a lab."
"As possible as that is, Hange was basically raised in the snow so this is the equivalent of dust for her." Erwin replied as the two of them trudged along.
"Her parents own multiple ski lodges why the hell did we go to the one up a fucking hill."
"The other closest one was more than 6 hours away. Did you really wanna be stuck on a train with Hange for more than 6 hours?"
Levi just groaned as they finally walked through the surprisingly big doors of the huge ski lodge. Hange raced over to the front desk as Erwin slipped onto the lobby couch, followed by Levi who was still kicking snow off his boots and his second bag.
"What's in that bag?" Erwin questioned, nodding to the luggage Levi had yanked over his lap.
He exhaled loudly giving the bag a couple soft pats. "Clothes, extra boots, extra gloves, two bottles of cleaner and a small box of tea as well as some light reading material."
"When are you gonna have time to read? We're going to be skiing most of the time we're here."
"If you think I'm getting on a ski lift you have less working brain cells than Hange."
Erwin smirked with a roll of his eyes, "Alrighty then, what's in this bag."
"All of the shit that didn't fit in this bag, toothpaste, toothbrush, cologne, extra pairs of underwear-"
"Woah, Levi you can't just talk about your underwear in a public space." Erwin chuckled at his own joke.
Levi rolled his eyes, "It's bad for your health to hang around Mike as often as you do."
"How is it you're not dead yet then?" Erwin retorted
Hange had been chatting up the receptionist for almost 15 minutes, bouncing up and down in front of the desk and indulging him in the stories of their travel up here. The man just gave her a sheepish grin and honestly Levi felt a little bad for the man but a little less when he thought about how it wasn't his problem anymore.
Moblit.. his name tag read. Somehow Hange's mannerism seemed more crazed with him if that was even possible.
"Yeah.. it has been so long." He heard the man say. You got.. taller..
"We're never getting out of this lobby are we?" Erwin sighed as the two continued to chatter on. Levi and Erwin stared as Hange continued on about her car with a surprising amount of engagement from the other party. "You know they kind of remind me of you and-"
"Hey, Hange!" Erwin cut himself off as a brown haired girl that Levi instantly recognized hopped down each step, a bald boy following her. And Levi believed he remembered them from Y/N's stories as Connie and Sasha who he remembered from the party.
"Hange, what're you doing here?" He asked as the brown haired girl gave her a hug.
"My family owns the lodge so I brought Erwin and Levi for the break!" Hange said, pulling Connie into side hug that he immediately reciprocated.
"Oh god! Why didn't you tell me your plans for break? Jean would've driven all of us up here and you wouldn't have had to waste gas."
Hange just shook her head. "It's quite alright I was already out of gas so we just took the train up here."
"You didn't put gas in your car again?" Connie asked
"Wait, if you guys came then does that mean Y/N is here?" Hange asked completely dodging Connie's question.
At her name Levi bounced out of his seat. Almost launching himself into the spot next to Erwin. Pulling his hat over his eyes and sliding his back as far into the chair as he could.
"What's up with you?" Erwin questioned
"I embarrassed myself last time I was with Y/N.."
"What? Didn't she buy you cream like a month ago?"
"Y-yeah." Levi shimmied his feet together as he slid further down in his seat.
Erwin's chuckle next to him made him grimace. "I know you don't really get it Levi. But uh, making an ass out of yourself in front of your crush is the first real hurdle to knowing you've got it bad."
"Shut up.."
"It could've been worse.. You could've accidentally injured her. Or got caught by the loud mouth in your class while writing her first name and your last name in a notebook."
"Sounds like a personal story.." Levi replied, inching the hat off his eyes to look up at Erwin.
Erwin scoffed, "Point is it happens." He said with a roll of his eyes.
Levi let out a little snicker that instantly got caught in his throat. It had never occurred to him that he'd actually paid attention to the romance movies he'd seen a hundred times with his mother. But now that Y/N was walking down the stairs it was like a scene from all of those movies combined.
Her smile just as warm as always. Turtleneck sweater hugging her features along with dark blue jeans and brown boots. Each step felt slower than the last as if everything in this particular room had been put on the slowest speed imaginable.
The butterflies in his stomach swarmed like they were all chasing after one specific thing. Everytime she appeared somehow it was different.
"We're still going skiing today right?" Connie questioned as Y/N stopped on the last stair.
"If Jean's up to it sure." She replied, her cheeks flushed like she'd just walked in from outside.
"Well this is gonna be a fun weekend." Erwin said but Levi didn't even register his words. His heart stammering in his chest. "Go make a fool out of yourself." Erwin nudged
"Hey Jean! Come on!" Connie said
"Yeah, Jean I'm hungry!" Called Sasha
Levi's heart stopped, his chest crumbling in on itself. The same guy from before.. just as soon a loud crash sounded and everyone turned all at once.
"Oh god are you ok?!" Y/N was the first person by Hange's side followed by Moblit from behind the counter.
Hange let out a laugh, wincing as she pulled herself up with Moblit and Y'N's help.
"I'll be ok. Just took a little spill." She continued to laugh.
Erwin was soon standing by her side. "Are you sure, you're alright? Your face is super red.."
A momentary lapse in Hange's facial features made Erwin step back a little. "Shut up Erwin." She huffed
"You fell on your side. You should rest a little bit." Moblit said, coming closer. "Just.. in case."
"Ok.." Hange replied
Y/N seemed to relax at this information. Her gaze immediately falling on Levi surprisingly. He really hoped he didn't outwardly wince.
"Hi, Levi." She spoke plainly giving Erwin a small greeting as well before her, Connie, Sasha, and Jean were leaving the lobby.
Hange and Erwin unsurprisingly crowded into Levi's room about five minutes after the whole ordeal. But Levi couldn't even bring himself to wipe one thing down like he'd wanted to. He just laid still on the bed, eyes planted to the ceiling.
Surprisingly Hange had also stayed silent. Her eyes shut where she laid next to Levi.
"I can't believe you broke the handle on my luggage Hange." Erwin called still sat on the floor holding his luggage in one hand and the handle in the other. Pressing the broken part of the handle to his bag as if it'd be that simple to fix.
"Now what am I supposed to do?"
"It broke my fall Erwin. Be grateful."
"For what exactly?"
"I don't know!"
Levi blinked, his gaze falling on Hange for the first time since she took that spill in the lobby. Her hands were crossed over her stomach, thumbs rubbing the spot where she fell.
"Are you alright or not?" Levi questioned
"I'm fine."
"Ok, I know why Levi's upset but why're you?" Erwin chimed up
"What's Levi upset about?"
"What else? Y/N."
"Uggggghhh Levvviiiii why don't you just ask her out already?" Hange said
Levi sat up on the bed pulling his feet into his chest. Shoes long gone, pushed up against the wall as soon as they'd walked into the room.
"I'm not talking about this shit anymore this week."
"Levi, if we're staying here all of this week and next then chances are she's also staying here all week and next. Which means somewhere in here is a perfect opportunity to-"
"Get in her bed." Hange interrupted
"Or something less crass." Erwin suggested "You did pack condoms in your emergency undies bag right?"
"Did you pack a spare handle in yours?"
Hange's obnoxious laughter was almost loud enough to muffle the low knocks on the door. Her irritating jabs to Levi's shoulder quickly halting when Levi grabbed her fingers.
"Who is it?" Erwin asked, one hand on the door.
"It's Y/N.."
Now Hange stopped laughing. Erwin shrugged as he looked back at both of them before pulling the door open.
"Hey, here." Y/N sounded filled with fatigue as she handed over a small bottle to Erwin.
"Oh! Thank you! Where'd you get this?" Erwin smiled with delight immediately flopping back down next to his bag.
"Jean carries around extra strength glue because Connie always manages to break something fragile." Y/N replied "I doubt it'll work but maybe it'll help a little?"
Erwin nodded happily as Y/N turned to look at Hange. Her hands balled up and her fingers fidgeting where she was pulling at them.
"How's your rib Hange?"
"It's ok now, thanks for asking."
Y/N nodded and at this moment everyone in the room was looking at Levi who automatically felt extremely naked.
"Levi um.. can I talk to you? In the hall?"
Levi didn't know if he had nodded in his head or in real life but he was swiftly moving across the room. Passing Y/N where she stood and then holding the door open as she walked out just behind him. The door shut behind the two of them and if Levi felt naked before the feeling out here was somehow worse.
"What happened?"
Levi could hear the slightly muffled footsteps on the other side of the door and even a whispered Hange as Y/N spoke. His hands felt both too dry and wet all at once as he looked into her mildly menacing gaze.
"Wh- where wh-when.."
"You barely said anything to me after I brought the cream for your forehead. What happened? Did I do something wrong?"
Oh god how can she possibly assume that? Levi felt his stomach clench. He had never had it easy with text, which was why he pretty much always called everyone.
"I-I didn't mean.. it um.." He shuffled his feet a bit now remembering that he still had no shoes on.
Y/N sighed. "I wanna be your friend Levi. Please tell me you want that too."
With a deep breath he replied, "Call me."
"When?"
"Anytime.. I'm a bad t-texter.."
When her facial features softened Levi felt his shoulders finally sag for the first time since he'd heard her name in the lobby. "Ok.. oh ok, that's all it was? I thought I did something wrong. I'm glad we talked."
And Levi was barely registering her hands wrapping around his shoulders. Her body pressing oh so comfortably close to his. Hand sliding over his back, scent overwhelming his nose. And then just as soon it was all being taken away.
"I'll call you, ok?"
"Ok.." Levi's hand was still waving long after she'd already disappeared out of plain view.
"Oh god you're her friend!" Hange laughed the door suddenly yanked open behind Levi.
"It's as cute as it is sad." Erwin clicked his teeth.
"Tch, shut up." Levi stomped back into the room.
"Levi, you're in the friendzone!" Hange huffed as Erwin shut the door. "And if you don't get out of it. You're gonna be the short shoulder to cry on when some big dude with an invalid drivers license, a shit ton of tattoos and a porn addiction breaks her heart."
"That's oddly specific.." Erwin retorts
"All of you keep assuming I wanna be her boyfriend. I don't!"
Erwin rolled his eyes, "That tall guy that she was with actually. I think he'll be the guy who has her running to Levi's shoulder."
"Oh you mean Jean?" Hange nods "But they broke up a while ago."
"Then why is she still hanging out with him?"
"He's Sasha and Connie's best friend. So they've all known each other a while. They're a set, don't separate type deal."
"Then it's only logical that Y/N will marry Jean someday. You know if they all stay so close."
"Yup, definitely."
"You can both eat shit."
~~~~
Day one
Levi strained awake, blinded by the harsh sunlight stabbing his eyes through the uncovered window. He couldn't even remember when he'd fallen asleep last night but he could already tell it was too early for everyone else to be awake.
He could recall a couple things from last night. Hange overstaying her welcome in his room, Erwin suggesting that Hange pay for his fucked up luggage and somethings he would rather not think about.
Preferably the others joining in his room to discuss breakfast plans. At which Sasha had suggested the diner they had already planned to go to early in the morning. Levi's heart sank as he recalled Y/N's gorgeous smile directed to Jean who had stood behind her rubbing her shoulders and whispering in her ear.
He squeezed his eyes shut, standing from his bed and immediately working to straighten out the sheets before eyeing the book he'd unpacked last night.
Maybe he could get some reading done before Hange inevitably came to annoy him.
The one he was currently holding was of a dog wearing a big floppy hat in the mist of sunflowers. He quickly matched it with his black and white sweatpants. And with a small sigh he headed to the bathroom.
He thumbed at the spine of the book, sliding his finger between the pages to the current bookmark. A shower would probably be a better start to the morning though. He set the book down unzipping one of his bags and pulling out the first pair of clothing folded at the top. Levi hadn't remembered packing one of his mother's many silly birthday gifts to him. She had always bought him shirts with pictures on them that confused him.
He didn't even remember the last time he'd had a shower that was hot for more than five minutes. Or the last time he could look down at his feet without seeing a hair monster in the drain.
He took a couple extra minutes to completely wash his hair, combing his fingers through the strands before shutting off the water and quickly getting dressed.
As he reentered his room he remembered the random gaze Jean threw his way. The smirk on his lips, the taunting glare and then just as quickly it was over. And he was talking to her like nothing had happened.
Levi had never once in his entire life thought about having a girlfriend. It just wasn't something that absorbed his thoughts but he knew the second he saw that smirk on Jean's face what he wanted to be to Y/N.
He just couldn't imagine how.
His fluffy towel hugged his head as he popped open the book he'd discarded a couple minutes ago. He pulled his feet in closer to his body tracing the letters on the page, delving into the story-
"Levi!"
Two fucking seconds.. that had to be a new record.
A barrage of harsh knocks sounded outside his door and he yanked it open to see Hange standing there out of breath with a barely alive looking Erwin behind her. Excitement flooding her features as she pushed past Levi with Erwin in tow. A blue toothbrush almost falling from his lips.
"You couldn't let him finish brushing his fucking teeth?" Levi grunted, shutting the door behind the two of them. Erwin sighed his eyes shut, toothbrush dangling from his mouth. "Why're you here?"
"We're all going for breakfast remember?"
"Not for another thirty minutes." Levi narrowed his eyes and leaned back against the tv table.
Hange smiled, "Yup and that means we have enough time to figure out a game plan to get you and Y/N together by the end of today." Hange clapped excitedly though both Erwin and Levi couldn't possibly look less enthused.
"I don't need your help."
"Erwin, back me up here!"
"I'm not doing shit since you didn't let me spit and I had to swallow toothpaste." Erwin remarked, squeezing the bridge of his nose.
Levi's face scrunched up and Hange let out a snort. "Why did you swallow it.. you could've just spit it out in the hall or something."
"That's fucking disgusting." Levi grunted
"Why the hell would I do that?" Erwin asked
"You're not supposed to swallow toothpaste duh!"
Everyone huffed all at once and Levi flopped down next to Erwin on the bed. "If I need any help I'll ask.." He mumbled already feeling heat fly to his cheeks.
"We're finally gonna get you a girlfriend Levi!!" Hange squeezed his body in a tight hug.
Just as Levi was about to push her away a couple of soft knocks sounded on his door again, "We're leaving a little earlier, hurry and come downstairs."
~~~~
Before the car had even pulled up back at the lodge Hange was already screaming about going skiing. Erwin had asked if Levi wanted to which he'd replied with a scoff.
"Really? Cause there are plenty of chances for Y/N to fall on you. Or you to fall on her." He shrugged.
Levi just rolled his eyes and at that Erwin gave up and now he was standing at the freezing cold railing watching everyone go down the stupid slope for what had to have been an hour or so. How'd he end up with bag watch? He didn't even wanna come outside.. He blew on his fingers trying and falling to warm them. At this point he felt exhausted, absolutely none of his clothes were keeping him warm.
With a sigh he pulled Hange and Erwin's bags up onto his shoulder along with Sasha and Connie's belongings. If he could manage to get upstairs he could warm up at least a little. A hot cup of tea practically beckoning him.
It took him only a couple seconds to realize he didn't have Y/N's bag. He looked around for a couple seconds. Did she bring a bag outside? Did he lose her bag?? He'd only left once to got to the bathroom. Did someone steal it.. Shit. He grumbled in disgust. Where could he have left it?
Feeling a bit panicked he headed towards the stairs. Blood running cold, his eyes practically bouncing out of his skull. His heart stopped at the display in front of him. Jean's hand on Y/N's waist as she leaned forward on the railing. Their lips pressed together..

Experiments
Summary: A flashback to when Wonka first opened up his factory, and his relationship with his partner and close friend, Maude, were all the rage. A new guy pulls into town and has his sights set on Maude. Drama ensues.
A/N: Oof, I apologize if the ending feels a little rushed. I should say this fic does have a bittersweet feel to it, but that's how I like it lol. I am working on rewriting one of my other fics because honestly I think I've gotten better at writing Wonka, lol
Tumblr media
Willy Wonka made headlines around the world when he opened the largest chocolate factory ever in history. He stood proudly in front of the looming building as the press went wild.
People stood all around the factory, celebrating such a momentous occasion. Especially, Maude Figgle, who stood right in front of the crowd, chewing on a piece of gum.
While chocolate was Willy's main passion, Maude helped out in crafting different kinds of gum. She even invented a kind of gum that would never loss its flavor. The press never seemed to care much about her, even though she was the brains behind most of his famous candies.
"Hello, and thank you for coming." Willy began to speak on a podium. He began adjusting the microphone. He took out several notecards, flipping through each of them.
Finally, he spoke again. "It is with great honor that I, Willy Wonka, have finally opened the largest chocolate factory in the world. Candy has always been my passion since I was a little boy, and I couldn't have done it alone. Maude Figgle, my very good friend and partner, has done so many things to help me on this incredible journey that I could never imagined of doing it on my own. Now, without a further ado, Wonka's factory is now opened!"
The crowd cheered as Willy stood up and cut the rope of his shiny new factory.
Maude ran up the steps, waving to the crowd. She hugged Willy, tightly.
Will was a bit surprised at the hug. He chuckled nervously, hugging Maude back.
It was the happiest day of their lives.
Will sat in his office, admiring all the workers below. After just a few months, people already seemed to enjoy working at the factory. Will would go down from his office sometimes, and test the different samples that people had made.
Maude was usually in the experiment room, where she made most of her breakthroughs. She was currently testing out a type of rock candy that projected different kinds of emotions.
"Maude, if you keep chewing that gum, your jaw will close shut, haha." Will said, jokingly.
"Yeah, says who, Smartypants?" Maude chuckled, and continued chewing.
Gum seemed to be the only thing that keep her focus. Ever since she was a little girl, she had a habit of chewing gum. She would chew faster if she was nervous or extremely focused. When she didn't have gum to chew, Maude would chew on her hair, pencils, or anything to keep her mind to focus.
Willy's stance on gum was obvious. He hated the stuff, but when it came to Maude, he seemed to tolerate it a lot more.
"Whatcha working on?" Will asked, leaning over Maude's shoulder.
"None of your business." Maude scoffed.
Will pouted, crossing his arms. "Haha, jokes on you. This factory is my business."
"Oh, of course, Mr. International Hotshot." Maude pushed Will gently to the side, and grabbed a few chemicals from behind him.
"You better believe it, missy." Willy looked to the experimentation table. There seemed to be a rock that was glowing pink.
"What does that mean?" Will asked, looking to Maude.
"It's emotional rock candy. You just touch it, and it'll glow whatever color you're feeling." Maude said, excited at her new invention. "It's like a mood ring."
"Uh-huh, and what does pink mean?" Will asked, again, placing his gloved hand on the rock.
Maude blushed, slightly. "Um, it's usually referred to the feeling of love or well happiness. It's kinda not really completed yet."
The rock candy began to shake as well as turn several different colors.
Maude gulped, grabbing Will to the ground. The rock exploded and bits of rock candy seemed to blow everywhere.
Luckily, there wasn't any other workers nearby, but Maude and Willy.
Willy grabbed his cane, and started laughing. "That was magnificent! We should do that again, but next time we should add different labels on the colors."
Maude chuckled as well. "Hehe, of course."
"Yes, we should definitely do that when I get back from India."
Maude's smiled quickly faded. "Leaving? To India?"
"Prince Pondicherry asked me to build him a palace entirely made out of chocolate." Willy chuckled. "It's really a strange request, is it not?"
"Yes, but, who will be in charge when you're gone?"
"You will, of course."
Maude's eyes widened as Willy headed out the door. "But, wait, why me?"
"Why not you? You're the only gosh darn person I'd trust to run this entire factory."
Maude smiled, slightly. She seemed a little troubled. "I'll do my best, Will."
He smiled back at her, pulling her into a hug.
Maude hesitantly hugged back. She looked up at the chocolateir's face. He looked young and bright. His lips were almost kissable. His hair was all short and crooked.
Maude pulled out of the hug and looked away. The very words "I love you" hung to her tongue, as Willy walked out of the factory.
"Good luck, Will."
A few weeks later, the press were hounding the factory, curious to where the chocolateir went off to.
Maude tried to maintain her composure without him, but it was no use to the press. They liked to dismiss her like she was some secretary. It annoyed her at times.
Even some of the workers in the factory didn't seem to care that she was in charge. They would say revolting things behind her back. Soon she didn't show up to the break room anymore. She started chewing her gum a lot faster.
"Um, excuse me, miss." A man said, knocking on the door of Wonka's office.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Wonka isn't here right now. Is there anything I can help you with?" Maude asked, opening the door for the man.
"No, actually. I was just looking for you." The man stammered.
The man seemed to have red hair, with captivating green eyes.
"Well, is there anything that you need help with, sir?" Maude repeated.
"Um, I apologize if this comes off as a bit dodgy, but I wanted to ask if you'd get drinks with me later?"
Maude crossed her arms at the offer. "I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to decline, because I've got lots of work to catch up on."
The man still insisted. "The drinks would be on me."
"Uh-huh. Another thing is I don't even know your name." Maude said, rolling her eyes.
"It's Ron, Ron Duncan." The man stuck out his hand.
She looked at his hand, and raised an eyebrow. "Maude Figgle. Now, I'm really swamped with work, if you'll excuse me."
"Look, I get that you're busy, but, I really admire your since I was a kid. In my opinion, you'd be better off without Wonka." The man turned to leave.
Maude stopped whatever she was doing and looked at him. "That's very kind of you. You know what, sure, I'll go."
"Great, then it's a date." Ron smiled at her and walked off.
From that first meeting, Maude didn't expect to be in a relationship with him. Ron seemed so nice and caring, but there was something off about him. She didn't exactly know what, but she did have a feeling that his intentions were cloudy.
When Willy got back from India, he was greeted by a tight hug from Maude.
"Ah, it's good to be back after such a long time. India is scolding hot, you know." Willy said, as he hugged Maude back.
"There's someone I want you to meet." She smiled at Will, bringing him over to Ron.
Willy's smile faltered, when she gave Ron a kiss on the cheek. "Heh, hi."
"This is Ron. He's my boyfriend." Maude said, holding onto Ron's hand.
Ron stuck out his hand for Will to shake it. Will hesitantly shook it with a disgusted look on his face.
"I find it extraordinary that after all this time you guys held up your friendship." Ron smiled. It seemed to have a sour connotation to it.
Will smiled back, just as sourly. "Uh-huh, yeah. We've had the same dream since we were kids."
Ron's smile disappeared, slightly. He gave Maude another kiss before heading off. It made Will grimace slightly, as Ron walked off.
Will didn't know how to describe it, but he didn't like Ron. In fact, he grew to despise him, but he just didn't know why.
Whenever he would see Maude all lovey dovey with Ron, it just made Will sick to his stomach. Soon, candy sales began to drop. His chocolate just wasn't tasting as good as it used to.
It started getting worse when spies began stealing his life's work. The only thing that kept him afloat was Maude.
One day, Maude announced that she was getting engaged. However, she didn't seem too thrilled about it.
Willy picked up on it right away. She didn't seem to want anything to do with him anymore.
Maude began to distance herself from Will more and more. He felt more hollow without her.
During the wedding, Will showed up to walk Maude down the aisle.
"H-hey, Maude." He began.
"Yes?" She answered.
Will couldn't get over how she looked in her wedding dress. Her hair was done up all nice, and her lips looked almost kissable. He placed his gloved hand on her cheek, as the words "I love you" hung on the tip of his tongue.
"Good luck." He said, as he walked her down the aisle.
