in a shocking turn of events, i’m back with another list of little steve details i love, this time from the tfa junior novelization because Yes i am that desperate for steve content at this point. also this novel was So stevebucky coded it’s crazy.

1. steve saying he has a big heart to try and make up for what he thinks he lacks physically is so :( he goes on to say he failed again at the end of this scene when he’s given a 4F (and calls himself a failure more than one time throughout the novel). GOD. he carries the weight of the world on his shoulders all the time.

2. him saying no one would miss him if he went to war because bucky would already he over there ???? and this isn’t even a stevebucky fanfic THIS IS CANON MATERIAL.

3. steve viewing bucky as a hero and not being aware bucky has always viewed him the same way …. MAN. this novel is so full of steve and bucky tidbits like i swear steve thinks about or talks to bucky at least once in ever scene LMFAO.

4. i feel insane …. bucky finally snapping and being blunt about how worried he is for steve’s safety … his voice softening … steve being SURPRISED he’s saying it ??? god.

5. see? i told you he thinks about bucky for 90% of this novel. WE GET IT. YOU LOVE HIM.

6. like i’m not even exaggerating ITS EVERY SCENE.

7. sorry but i’ll never stop gloating about being right in saying tfa steve can’t swim <3.

9. bucky calling steve a little shrimp is so personal to me they really will always be childhood best friends above everything.

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)

At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.

Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.

My father was martyred by Israel on 10 October 2023 after sacrificing his care in hospital so the injured children could take priority. Today would have been his 60th birthday. He was always selfless, kind, and giving for others. My father gave up everything for me to be able to have a better life, because that is what he always dreamed for me and my sister. The world suffered a great loss when he died, and my heart is always with him and every Palestinian who has lost someone.

In his honour and memory, I would love for anyone who is able to do so to consider donating to The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.

The PCRF is an amazing organisation that does so much for those in Gaza right now, including helping provide food, water and medicine. You can donate any amount you are able to- there is no minimum! My father would have given his very last cent if he saw the way Palestine was continuing to suffer after over 100 days with this limited aid, so I know celebrating him by helping others is the least he would have wanted.

I saw @parrot-parent do a very successful donation match and I thought it was such a good idea so I will also match all donations up to $500! If you feel comfortable sending me proof of the amount of your donation, I will match it as a donation at the end of February. (My messages are set to mutuals only, but if you donate and we aren’t mutuals if you send an ask with the proof I will make sure to answer it privately.)
