so…. hi? i know it’s been a while and i am soooo sorry to leave you guys hanging. as i mentioned before, i just got a job so i’ve been way too tired and busy to write and update :( i’ve been waking up at like 4 am just to make the commute and i sleep the second i get home lol

but now that i’m kinda sorta settled in, i’ve really been wanting to get back into writing and being back on here. i can’t make promises that it will be as constant or as regular as before (but let’s be honest it wasn’t that constant before either hahaha), but i promise to try. maybe i’ll post an update or two or a new little one-shot a week, and reply to your asks and comments. i’m really sorry that i kept you hanging for updates, i hope you can be a little patient with me but i promise that i will do my best to finish all the series that i started :) it’s just a matter of when.

#went to a youth rally as a co-lead for my church's youth group #it was good! Very loud! I think our kiddos had fun. There were games and worship and a message #and we carpooled so got to chat and share music taste a lil on the way there and back #and then our youth leader who is also my honorary big sister drove me home since my silly probationary license won't let me drive after 11 #but that was good too. we chatted and it was just quite a lovely evening altogether #Now I am sitting in my pj's eating chinese takeout leftovers and winding down for bed #anyway if you see this and feel like it share things you're praising God for! #Praising Him (among other things) that I'm feeling better from a cold and that I can sleep in tomorrow morning #<3 and here's a hug for you

i think its really easy to forget that s2 is infact set in the future, and with the pugg-ification (that thing that happened to pugs to make them anatomically wrong) of anime, there is a high likely hood that when Taylor says "anime" he is picturing characters who look like the woman on the far right. did i draw this to put off actually drawing the teens ... still - mayhaps why do you ask?

friends! guidance please?

my daisy jones spiral and @actuallylukedanes being generally awesome has reminded me how much i miss writing songs, and how much i used to want to learn to play guitar--and my best friend suggested a guitar could be my birthday gift this year. (i'm not used to asking for 'frivolous' or dreamy gifts any more, so it's become a really nice idea.)

november is still a long way off, but there seem to be a lot of used guitars floating around that i'll be able to choose from when it's time. i don't think i need anything fancy or special since i'll be such a beginner, just something acoustic that's cheap and also pretty if possible (they come in colors! i love that).

but i've realized that when it comes to buying from someone local, a method that worked really well for me the last time i needed furniture...i have no idea if there's anything i should know or look for when it's a guitar. because i don't yet play guitar! is there some way for me to know i'm buying one that works?

this feels like a dumb or obvious question, but since the choosing/arranging will be up to me, i don't want to be the reason my family buys me a birthday gift that turns out to be, like, broken or something. i'm not always the most possessing of what could be considered common sense. so, for those who might know: is it really obvious when a guitar is broken, off, nonfuctional? do i need to worry?
