This has gotta be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. The lady is 100% correct that the kid was born as something, they're either male or female. This comic tries to make it look like she's the bad guy but she's 100% correct.

I'd also point out just how well this adds to the theory that most "trans kids" are just victims of Munchausen by Proxy. How is this kid going to know if they're a boy or a girl if not by sex? Stereotypes. Boys like trucks and getting messy and nerf guns and steak and climbing trees and the colour blue! Girls like dolls and dresses and tea parties and baking and pink! So progressive y'all!!!

This is like the opposite of gender equality. Instead of teaching the kid that they're a boy/girl and that doesn't stop them from liking or disliking anything, we're going to sit here and pretend a little kid has any idea what a gender identity is

my current twow/ados never getting an ending coping strategy is imagining theon happy post- war for the dawn. he lives in a little cottage/hut with wex pyke, who is being paid by asha or maybe even sansa to look after theon. theon is in a 24/7 delusion that robb is alive or that he (theon) is in some kind of purgatory. he lives a delusional domestic life with robb and its like alannys and her delusions about her sons yknow. theon is talking to robb in his little hut sometimes he is slightly more lucid, screaming crying throwing up begging for forgiveness. and sometimes he is full delusion going Wow so cool that i am living a bachelor roommate lifestyle with my best friend robb who is alive and never died and i never betrayed him. and sometimes asha will visit and theon will say me and robb hunted for rabbits today and asha will know that theon cant hold a bow anymore and robb is dead and wex caught the game. and asha will say thats lovely theon lets go fishing. and theon will say hey robb sorry my dumb bitch sister wants to go fishing ill be back in an hour. and that is my theon happy place ending for him. Can we just clear something up about G Rose Blanchard? Can we just agree that she did not consent to being abused and exploited and that she's making the choice to share her story to raise awareness of this kind of abuse? Can we agree that she is not required to share her story past anything she has already consented to sharing?

I am glad she is being released in a few days after the torment she has gone through. I am glad that the prison she is in has helped her (as prisons SHOULD do). If she wants to become a tik tok star, then I think her story and experience could help a lot of people who went through what she went through.

But can we treat her like the person she is and not act like her release is the equivalent of the Taylor Swift eras tour? Regardless of whether or not I think she's a good person, the case is complex. I don't think killing is a good thing. I am firmly anti-death penalty but I also know that she, in her own lived experience, did not feel like she had many options. If she had access to another escape, I have no doubt she would have taken it. Could there have been other ways? Sure. But what happened is that she asked for help from her boyfriend in killing her mom. And she is now free from that abuse and, in four days, be free to heal in the outside world (albeit probably with restrictions due to her leaving prison)

I see a lot of people online saying stuff like "oh if she only wanted to escape, why did she stab her mom so much" which, she didn't stab her mom. Her boyfriend did which points to the vitriol in the attack coming from him. There's also people online saying "oh you can see the evil in her eyes" which is just bullshit. We don't know her. We know that she's getting released early due to good behavior. We know that abuse and PTSD can change your moral landscape. We know that her mom would force her to lie and she probably could have learned manipulation due to growing up in that environment. But we also just don't know her in general. She is not necessarily a good or bad person. She's someone who survived severe abuse and her life is going to be forever complicated by that.

But lets stop treating her like some mega celebrity. She's a survivor and she's going to get the opportunity to start showing everyone who she really is and it might be good, it might be bad. Surviving abuse isn't a pretty road full of inspirational quotes. It's ugly and exhausting and nauseating.

Let her grow into who she wants to be and remain neutral for her sake. She's probably going to mess up a lot in recovery and I think immediately idolizing her before she even stepped out of prison is probably very stressful amongst all of the overwhelming emotions she’s going to experience on the 28th.

Still thinking about Dean enjoying Sam being sick. Feeling hopeful when Sam says good morning and it sounds like his throat hurts. Hiding a smile when he gets to rub circles on Sam's back while he throws up. Pressing his lips to Sam's forehead to check for a fever, letting them linger. Checking again. Fussing over Sam being pale, achey, etc. Just absolutely thriving because his baby brother needs him.

For the Sharp Objects au, I think I might just adjust it to a munchausen by proxy au where Lex is the golden boy who gets sick and dies when Lena is a kid. When Lena comes back to her family home, she starts feeling sick in increments, but she thinks its just her nerves/trauma of being home. (It's really Lillian putting poison in Lena's meals.)

She meets Kara and hits it off. Lena tells Kara about Lex and Kara's detective instincts tell her something is hinky about the whole thing, so she starts digging. She tries to tell Lena, but Lena reacts poorly and tells Kara to get the fuck away from her and never talk to her again.

But Kara leaves Lex's medical records in Lena's car and Lena sees for herself, but its too late. Lena collapses at the Luthor mansion and is then "cared for" by Lillian, who is slowly poisoning her to death. Lena believes she's alone, now that she's sent Kara away, and is overcome by helplessness and hopelessness.

Just as she's nearing death Kara comes knocking to check on her, because Kara has an inkling that Lena isn't stupid and would have come to the right conclusion about what happened and what it means.

But Lena is too weak to call out and Kara leaves when Lillian turns her away. But then Lena's friend Sam Arias comes banging on the precinct's door, insisting that something is wrong because Lena hasn't checked in for days, and it's enough for Kara to knock the Luthor's door down and find Lena at death's door.

Lena is rushed to the hospital in the nick of time, and they save her life. Turns out Lillian had a myriad of poisons she'd used for Lex and then Lena. She's arrested and charged with murder and attempted murder, and Lena tearfully apologizes to Kara for how they left things.

Kara's only response is to fold Lena into a hug and promises to help her through, whatever she needs. When they leave Lena's small hometown, they leave together, and when Lena returns to National City, Kara goes with her.

And I strongly disagree with pretty much everything about it. I'd rather not go into all the details, but I have older posts about it, including an answer to a very similar ask.

No, I don't think he ever added anything to the milk to keep his younger brother, who had already been diagnosed with asthma, ill. For one thing, if his recurring symptoms started to look more like he'd ingested poison, Madam Red would have been suspicious.

I believe that real Ciel would have done his best to support his younger twin, emotionally and financially, if our earl had pursued his dream of opening a toy shop. And Phantomhive Manor would always welcome him with open arms. Real Ciel would make up all sorts of excuses to entice our earl to visit him, as well as his own excuses for traveling to London. Our earl would live in their London townhouse, and real Ciel would visit whenever his brother couldn't make the trip to the manor. That's what I envision.

The kid has quite the evil streak, but I don't think he would stoop to poisoning his beloved brother, let alone killing his own parents.
