My Marauders Headcanons Pt. 3 ~ Remus John Lupin

(Daniel Sharman as Remus Lupin makes sooo much sense, in my head. I mean he is soggy, wet dog of a man like Remus. He plays a werewolf on Teen Wolf. He has the hair, and if cocky, cool Remus is your thing he can pull that off too. Also there's a pic of him in a cowboy hat for all the Cowboy!Remus going on rn)

Hes an old man at heart and he always has been

He's very awkward, like if it weren't for the marauders he'd probably have like no friends

He actually gets along with everybody despite the facts he's awkward as hell

Became friends with The Pantheons/Slytherin Skittles/The Emeralds (whatever your preferred term is) after the prank

don't be shy tell us about hollow moon's bad ending :) (also such a great fic!!! your writing gives me so many emotions i had to lie down like a fainting victorian woman)

oh my god ;; okay, so- i feel like i should highlight first that this is all stuff that mainly got thrown around inside my head; i never actually wrote anything out properly? so this might come off more as a deranged rambling than anything else aha-

tbh the bad ending feels kinda self-explanatory: the moon wins. that's all there is to it; either sebek and malleus don't get there in time so silver manages to throw lilia off with magic and escape through the portal, or malleus' attempt to cut off his magic fails... et cetera, et cetera.

i got really tempted to write that. sheep (friend who helped me a lot with hollow moon) and i REALLY like the moon (we call her "moonie") and it just got really tempting to write a bad ending where she's basically toying with silver, dressing him in pretty clothes and making him entertain her, and kind of sort of managing to keep him alive (barely) while his mind's just a complete mess under the full extent of her thrall. idk, i'm a sucker for Women™ who do things like that. y'all don't know how much i liked writing moonie toying with silver in the dream sequences in hollow moon (answer: a lot)

except the problem is that this bad end led me to think about a good end to the bad end (convoluted!!), which utilises one of my favourite tropes in general: rescue missions. do you think?? the other three are just gonna take this lying down?? they're gonna find a way to break in and drag silver back and AAAAA i had to throttle and restrain myself from scrapping the original ending and writing that because. Do You KNOW how much i fucking LOVE rescue missions?? malleus 1v1's the moon while lilia and sebek go looking for silver (who is just unconscious and left in a pretty little tower somewhere in those mountains, sleeping in a bed while moonie deals w the pesky intruders...) something something the horror of seeing ur son just fucking Gone mentally and needing to drag him out before it's too late. anyways

IDK I HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE but man. hollow moon. sure did take a lot out of me. moonie is a #girlboss and i love her. tbh the main reason why i didn't scrap it is bc 1) i think the fic would've gotten another 20k words and i was not strong enough and 2) i still like the og ending. i think it fits perfectly and i had it in mind since the beginning so i wasn't gonna just scrap it. IT WAS STILL TEMPTING THOUGH-

Re-watching the h.p films and trying to reclaim my previous loves that i lost due to a horrid past experience with someone i used to know here on Tumblr that scared me out of shipping with them. Glad they're not in my life anymore because that toxicity was so suffocating and I want my wizard men back dammit! I'm in the process of it, thankfully. No more snobs. My very first love from that universe and the one that got me through so many hard times in my life was in fact, the man the myth the menace, Sev.erus Sn.ape. He was my everything for so long and even like, three years without him has been so hard. I miss him so much and I love him even more. The other two, well, they're a pair alright. That would be the two doggos, Rem.us and Sir.ius! A set, do not separate type of deal. I used to have the mindset of no more than one f/o per piece of media but...as we can see since then I've racked up clearly well over 70 people so that really doesn't apply anymore. Time to revisit them! I cannot have one without the other so...poly ship it is! I love a good poly ship. Anyway just wanted to document this for myself since this is kinda huge for me. I've missed this universe so bad and it's honestly refreshing to jump back into it without such a toxic presence looming around anymore. A/N: Yes!!! I love love love the angst this gives<3 Thanks for requesting my love, you did it correctly, there's rarely a wrong way of doing it so please don't worry! Also, this turned out to be a drabble more than a fic, hope you don't mind <3

Eyes turned as the beloved quartet stormed through the common room and onto the stairs of the Gryffindor dorms. Sirius trying to catch Y/N's wrist so she wouldn't lock herself in her room while their boyfriends walked behind them, James with an upset look in his eyes and Remus sporting furrowed eyebrows that showed unease more than anything.

"Y/N just talk to me!" the raven haired boy grumbled, trying to catch up with his girlfriend, eventually doing so right before she shut the door on his face. "Thanks babe," mumbled Prongs as their boyfriend held the door open for them. The girl sat on her bed when all the others in the dorm quickly left so they could have some privacy, not wanting to snoop on whatever the matter was.

"Why are you even upset about this!? I got detention, big deal" Y/N sighs, cradling her head in her hands, a headache from all the commotion already settling in. Her boyfriends knew she was suppressing something, and Sirius was really pissed about it; she didn't make it to their date that day, and when they found her she was exiting McGonagall's classroom with Snape.

"Oh, I don't know, maybe because we were stood up by our girlfriend and noticed she so happened to be in detention with our worst enemy!?" "That's a bit dramat-" James started but was soon interrupted by his boyfriend's cold stare and decided to keep his comment to himself.

"What are you hiding?" Said Prongs in a very defensive tone, making Y/N lose it. "Hiding!? Like I committed a crime or some shit... I got detention and Snivellus got detention! That's it, so j-just go." Remus shook his head and walked over to his girlfriend, his boyfriends shutting up when he did. He had kept quiet since they found her, but since that's exactly how the boy acted when he got mad, he really couldn't blame her for not approaching him.

Something told him there was way more to this whole deal than being in detention; Remus could read everyone like one of his novels, and Y/N's slightly red knuckles and shaky hands were definitely telling a story. He gently took her hands and searched for those beautiful brown eyes, finding them slightly glossed over.

"How are you not mad at all!?" The Potter boy asked, an approving nod coming from their boyfriend, who was now under his arms to calm himself down. "Something's up" Moony mumbled, audibly enough for them to hear. Y/N tensed up at that. Bingo.

He sat next to her, and she immediately crawled up on his lap, covering his sweater in salty tears. They knew Y/N short circuited when she was upset, so they all got very protective whenever she cried or got too angry; "She kind of freezes," Padfoot said once. "It's okay, keep breathing," Moony cooed as their boyfriends sat next to them, all anger forgotten and replaced by worry.

They waited for a couple of minutes until she calmed down, and when her breath steadied, she left her safe heaven Remus' chest. Y/N crawled down his lap and sat between James and him. "I punched Snape on the face because he was being mean again and I got sick of his shit..."

Prongs' gaze went directly to her knuckles in worry. Sirius laughed loudly and kissed her cheek while Remus smiled proudly at his girl; she was upset because they pushed her, not for whatever reason got her in detention. Y/N smiled, reassuring her boyfriend her hand was okay and letting the raven haired boy pepper her face in kisses.

They knew their girlfriend had a fire inside

"What did he say now? Wanna talk about it?" Prongs quizzed, knowing it was common for Y/N to get in her head about these types of things. "He called me a slut, said it must be some muggle stuff that I got you three involved in... and then said Jamie is compensating for not being able to be with Lily since she's with Mary"

"I'll hex the bastard" Said Sirius with his French accent seeping through as it so happened when he was upset, already getting up from the bed before Remus grabbed his wrist. "Calm down love, it's nothing he hasn't said before". James gave him a reassuring smile, agreeing with their boyfriend as Moony chuckled; "Plus, I think he got enough, courtesy of our bright girl".

Y/N laughed at that before noticing a certain glint in their boyfriend's eyes. "All good Jamie?" She asked, grabbing his face in both her hands, his pair of glasses partially hiding the pools of brown gazing at her lovingly. "M'sorry we were mean to you" he mumbled, pouting slightly as he looked into her eyes.

The girl's heart melted, hugging James tightly. "It's okay" "It's not though" said Sirius in a whine, hugging her from behind, making a sandwich of his boyfriend, girlfriend and him laying on the bed. Y/N giggled at the gesture, grabbing Pad's hand and looking over her shoulder at him. "You were very dramatic, but that's nothing new a-and I think it's a normal reaction. I do have to admit it was..." "...sketchy?" "...weird?" they completed.

"... rather unusual," she smiled, kissing them both on the mouth. "You're both forgiven". "Well, this is just mean. Make some space" Remus grumbled, settling between James and Y/N as they all giggled and Prongs kissed him softly.

They spent their afternoon there. With Christmas break approaching, teachers were more flexible when it came to assignments, so even Remus allowed himself to slack a little just to be with his loves. Nothing could hurt them, ever.

The scene was a portrait of their love; a warm bed, sweaty limbs and kisses all shared with the highest intimacy that spoke of a love that would endure the greatest test of all which is time.

Don’t Freak Out

Rain was pounding on the window, grey clouds filled the sky with a gloomy yet comforting feeling and a harsh wind was blowing. While the world outside was chilled and bitter, you and Remus had found a way to keep warm in such treacherous weather.

You’d both decided to meet up for an afternoon rendezvous. Knowing James, your beloved twin, he would flip his lid if he found out one of his best friends was shagging his sister, but luckily he was somewhere on the quidditch pitch right about now, so the opportunity to have a little alone time was too good to pass.

A thin sheen of sweat coated your bodies, sheets tangled round your limbs as you rested your head against Remus’s chest, listening to the sound of his heartbeat return to a normal rate. You felt quite relaxed and very satisfied, the young werewolf knowing your body so well that he left you in a blissed out state of contentment every time. His large hands held you close to his, fingers slinking their way up to trace the purpling marks he’d left across your neck and chest, a proud smile on his face.

“Love seeing you like this, Bun.” You looked up at him with droopy eyelids, the corners of your mouth lifting ever so slightly.

“Like what?”

“All fucked out, covered in these-“ he tapped a particularly large hickey that rested at the nape of your neck. “Y’Look so pretty for me Darling.”

“Not too bad yourself Moony.” You tease, leaning up to press your lips to his. It was lazy, and sloppy, but it was perfect, the lovely cherry on top of your wonderful afternoon together. But it was all shattered by the sound of the door to Remus’s dorm opening, loud boisterous laughter ruining the mood.

It was like all the air in your lungs had vanished, panic setting in as you realised there was nowhere to hide. This was it, James was about to discover the truth, and there was nothing you could do.

“What the fuck is going on?!” James’s voice boomed, bouncing off the walls and making you cringe in annoyance.

“Shit.” You heard Remus mutter as he helped pull the sheets tighter around you in order to keep your naked body shielded from the others. Along with James stood Sirius and Peter, both looking just as shocked, although Sirius began to snicker not long after while Peter’s eyes remained as round as saucepans.

“James, don’t freak out, let’s just talk about this like adults, yeah?” You tried, hands a little shaky as you reached for your wand so you could summon your clothes that were scattered around the room, quite comically you thought as your underwear flew down from the ceiling lamp.

“Don’t freak out? DON’T FREAK OUT?! I’ve just walked in on my best friend defiling my sister and you’re telling me to not freak out!” Sirius’s laughter grew with James’s anger. Remus cast you a nervous look, reaching for your hand under the blankets as James continued to rant about the whole situation.

“Look Prongs this isn’t just sex, we actually love each other.” Remus reasoned, squeezing your hand from under the blanket to try get his point across even more. Your cheeks flushed and your smile was full of love, scooching closer to him and kissing his shoulder tenderly. James watched with disgust and fake gagged.

“This is vile.” You rolled your eyes.

“Don’t be such a baby James, you can be mad about this all you want but it’s not going to stop, so you can either be happy about it and supportive, or you can shut up.” James seemed to be contemplating his choices, before he let out a disgruntled huff.

“Fine, but if you hurt her Moony, so Merlin help you.” Remus chuckled as the three boys went to leave, turning to face you.

“I think that could have gone worse.” He smiled, leaning over and planting a sweet kiss to your cheek.

“Yeh, and now he knows we don’t have to sneak around as much.” You two sat in silence for a little while, realising the change that was about to occur in your relationship, not sure how happy you were about it. Part of the fun had been sneaking around, the risk of being caught, but maybe this change could be good, the next step. Casting you gaze at Remus who was already looking at you, you gave a genuine smile which he returned, leaning forward and this time kissing your forehead. The fluttery feeling in your stomach made you giggle, you were definitely ready for more of Remus.

Azriel Drabble

Azriel’s smile is warm, his gaze tired when it meets yours through the room. You return his smile, knowing this day has been long, the previous week exhausting.

And you know he needs you, you need him. Holding him, caressing him, talking about his mission while sharing some sweet kisses.

Yearning and longing fills the bond, stretching out. You both just want to go home, want to be alone.

So when hours later the meeting finally ends, it is what you do, rushing home immediately, stripping out of most clothes and tumbling into bed.

You kiss the top of Azriel’s head when you pull him to your chest. The shadowsinger hums, burying his face in your cleavage, drawing in a deep breath. "So soft," he hums and kisses your skin.

You manage to pull the thick blanket over the both of you, getting all warm and cozy, giggling lightly at your sweet mate.

"I missed you so much," he mumbles, voice muffled. Momentarily his tired, heavy-lidded gaze meets yours and he smiles. Then lowers his face again, chest heaving with a deep inhale.

Your hand brushes through his hair, lower to his neck, down his back and up to his hair again. Azriel’s arms curl tighter around your body, leaving no room between the two of you. You practically merge, wanting to be as close as possible. With his knee Azriel wedges your thighs apart, bringing you even an inch closer. Delighted about your closeness, the spymaster releases a loud, happy sigh that has you giggling.

"I missed you, too, my love. More than you can imagine," you say and kiss Azriel’s head once again, your hand, that is not in his hair, moving to his strong arm, fingers brushing over the dark swirls of ink.

The spymaster’s wings flare, shielding you from the outside world. In this cocoon it is just the two of you—your needy Illyrian baby and you, his beloved mate, finally together, united, madly in love.
