Larissa Weems x student!reader headcanon?

Basically student has anxiety attack after seeing the monster themselves and Larissa comforts them.

I was out for a late night walk since I was unable to sleep, one of the many wonderful…. effects of insomnia. I wasn’t far from the building but close enough to the fence that I could see into the woods. I was on edge with the many monster attacks as of late, but the walks always helped me the best. As I’m walking by the fence, the monster slams into it reaching its hand through to grab me. I fall over to avoid it but still get a scratch on my arm. I stare at it in shock as it backs away to climb over the fence. At the sight of that, I stand shakily and run back to nevermore for safety.

As I’m running through the halls, I continuously look back for the monster. I only stop when I run into Principal Weems. We both fall to the ground, but I attempt to scramble to get up.

Principal Weems pulls me closer to herself in an attempt to talk to me, “Y/N dear, what’s wrong? What has you so frightened?”

I look in the direction I came from scared the monster is still coming after me, “monster……I..” I’m gasping for air, “I saw it!”

“Slow down, what do you mean?”

“It atta-“ I try to get more air into my lungs as she squeezes my hands, “it attacked me”

She looks me over and spots the bleeding scratches on my arm. In an instant she lifts me in her arms and brings me through a door. It’s dark with a dim light behind me. Principal Weems holds me tight, “It’s alright Darling, I’ve got you, you’re safe here” she whispers. She places me on her bed and kneels between my legs. She cups my face softly and looks at me with gentle eyes. “Oh honey….we’re going to breathe together, alright?”

I give a small nod in agreement and do as she does.

In for 8 seconds , out for 5

“That’s it darling, keep going”

In for 8, out for 5

She leads me through this exercise until I’m breathing normally again. She lets go of my face and moves to stand. She slowly backs away, “I’m just going to my bathroom to grab a first aid. You can see me from here, I promise”.

She turns and goes into her bathroom squatting down to retrieve the kit from under the sink before returning to my side.

She pulls at the sleeve of my shirt a bit, “do you have anything on under this?” I nod and she helps take my shirt off. I’m left in my sports bra and a cropped tank top.

She slowly cleans my wound and wraps my arm to keep it protected. She then guides me to her dresser and pulls out a long sleeve shirt of hers to cover me back up.

“Would you like to stay with me tonight?” I nod my head and she guides me back to her bed. She tucks me in with a kiss to my forehead and a gently Goodnight. She stays close by until I fall asleep and watches over me for the night.

I've wanted to make another MH World style icon ever since I made my first one. But I didn't know what I wanted to turn into an icon,, until now!! Making this was so much fun!!!

Ah yes, combining two of my brainrots. No one asked for this. Only my brain did. Please don’t mind me in my weird little corner.

I would love to fight them in a Monster Hunter game! They'd DEFINITELY be a powerful elder dragon of some sort! I don't know what ailments they'd inflict, definitely bleed but I don't know what else. Maybe they can make the arena pitch black and move unseen in the shadows, only giving away where they are from their glowing red eyes. Maybe they can throw sticky demon goo at you, making little puddles where you slow down or even get stuck if you get hit by one of theier projectiles directly, kinda like being stuck in tar. And while you're stuck they're getting ready to swing their giant powerful arms at you!

Hands and face are definitely weak points. Breakable horns, back and claws! I wonder what their armor and weapons would look like!! :O

I can't help but fantasize about their music too! I think making it quiet instead of large and grandiose works better for them. Something that would fit their elusiveness. Low rumbling notes with some higher notes and fast tempo bits scattered around to keep you on your toes, never knowing when and where their next attack will strike as they stalk you in the shadows.

Is it weird that in one moment I wanna cuddle this creature and in the next I wanna fight them and make armor and weapons out of their body parts kljfbvlasjkvbs

Very rough concepts at my own cryptid eclipse design for @naffeclipse's Cryptid Sightings. I had a thought that since he was made out of a black substance (to slip in and out of the vessel), he could alter, thicken, and harden it at will to change into whatever he wanted. In this case, I think it would be mainly prevalent in his arms and frills.

People are so boring about classic literature sometimes. Like I know it’s cool to be critical of men in books from the 19th century or whatever but it just leads to ripping out all of the nuance in favor of “Uh all of the Brontë men were evil and abusive and that’s all there is to those characters.” Say something interesting. I’m begging you

#yes this is about a class I’m in. what of it #There is a scene in Jane Eyre where Jane approached Rochester to ask him for leave for a few weeks to see her sick aunt #and he protests and makes a fuss out of it and he gives her a bunch of money and then takes it back and gives her less than he owes her #and if you read it in the strictest and least charitable fashion then you could say that Mr Rochester is an evil piece of shit who won’t #let Jane out of his sight and doesn’t give her what she’s due #but if you actually read it in the context of the book it’s so obvious that he’s joking around with her #and she’s ribbing him back in that same scene #because when you start out with the idea the Mr Rochester is an irredeemable monster and therefore everything he does is suspicious #you miss out on the very obvious fact that he and Jane are best friends! Their personalities gel perfectly #which is why they become so infatuated with each other #Saying ‘well Rochester didn’t give her all her money so he’s clearly manipulating and abusing Jane in this scene :(’#is such an awful boring take that ignores what Charlotte spent hundreds of pages doing with these characters!#try having reading comprehension how about that #wuthering heights #jane eyre #the tenant of wildfell hall

When I was younger I had a temporary monster high obsession, but I couldn't get the dolls. Now I hear that their doing a reboot and I'm going down memory lane. My fave is Twyla 👻

I also managed to get my hands on a 2nd hand doll to finally fulfill my childhood dream of doing a doll repaint!! I used glow in the dark paint for her eyes, but it's really hard to take a pic (but it works!). De-glued her hair and all that too. I am planning on curling her hair, but I still don't have curlers. One day I'll get to it....... maybe.......
