This one would like a moment of your time.
Ok so, I've taken a gander at the newest Gore content great stuff. It's not marriage.
Now! I have nothing against marriage! Nothing against anyone! However, for Gore? Makes no sense. First of all he's 19-21, second just got out of one hell of a life, third still kinda fighting to survive (it's Skyrim let's be honest here), and fourth when would he ever? Specifically in Skyrim, marriage is a very religious thing, and he's not. For me (as a player) it would not be meaningful to have a Skyrim marriage or be married at all. I'm a big believer in everything needs meaning narratively, especially when it comes to romance (ty Leli mwah). So that's all to say marriage does not make sense for a character like Gore. And yeah maybe I'm biased because I literally help out with Gore, but this is my little literature brain going coocoo.

What's more meaningful? Well I'm glad you asked! Choosing the dragonborn free of ceremony, free of religion, free of obligation. Choosing the dragonborn not only as his family but also his life partner. A big theme of the mod is regaining agency. He specifically chooses the dragonborn. That's big! That's huge! He chooses to take them to 'meet his mom', something meaningful for him! Because for him, the player is all he has. He's done letting other people choose for him. And that my dear reader is meaningful. I constantly think of "if jo-lee was tugging on one sleeve and you the other; I'd choose you." Or something like that.
Plus he explicitly says it isn't marriage and he won't get married. So...
Anyway it's a silly Skyrim mod, but hey I like it. It's just neat.

My rules: Triggering content is alright (send an ask for specific triggers that im alright with. I'd love it if you used punctuation and proper grammar (i sometimes get ideas for my fanfics through rp). Also i'd prefer it if you'd stray from using all lower case during the session.

We asked our mods why they love their favorite rare pair.
Here's one answer:
Jet/Ty Lee, JetLee, my beloved dumpster fire of a ship. My love for this ship stems for an overabundant adoration for these characters; to me, they're both an endless supply of angst potential, of which I am a sucker for.
Jet is intelligent, brash, and with a moral compass that may not point north but directs him to protecting that which he cares about by whatever means necessary. Ty Lee is guarded but warm, valuing her individuality and being liked over nearly everything else. She's Fire Nation; he hates the Fire Nation. The two of them as a pair seems so unlikely; how could Jet ever grow to have feelings for someone who is the very thing he hates more than anything?
And that is exactly what I like about them! Figuring out how they could meet, how they would react to each other, how Jet reacts once he finds out who Ty Lee is, how Ty Lee adjusts to being with someone whose attention is divided and gets hyper focused on tasks and goals. They're fun to show the flirty banter, they're fun when they argue, and they're fun to draw the angst out of.
And that's why I ship Jet/Ty Lee. Why do you ship your favorites?

Hi, sorry to bother you, but do you know by chance the Mai centered fic on fanfiction.net where Mai has a nightmare about AU in which she didn't betray Azula in the Boiling Rock, and so her and Ty Lee remain by her side, only to have parts of her memory interrupt it until she wakes up in Zuko's arms, who then comforts her, thus ending the fic? Thanks!

ahh thank u for keeping up the tradition & spreading my gospel!! I hope my art doesn’t disappoint
anne would get along with pretty much everyone, but I think she’d especially like aang (because he reminds her of sprig), toph (because she reminds her of polly), and suki (because she is hot and cool and anne is very gay). i also think she’d have a crush on june the bounty hunter
aang and sprig would get along like fire and a thatched roof. they’d run around in the woods and make up silly little games. it would get kind of intense at some point during their contest to determine who can jump higher, but eventually they’d settle on a tie. just two kindhearted silly babie boys with boundless energy and irresistible charm <3333
polly meets toph and immediately they are both like “I have met my soulmate.” get louise bobsburgers in there too for maximum chaos wreaked by three tiny vessels
sokka and marcy would be obsessed with each other. the closest marcy ever got to finding someone who knew exactly how to communicate with her was andrias, and... well.... (okay arguably maddie too, but that’s mostly because marcy was just perfectly happy to let maddie boss her around) but sokka would be able to challenge her intellectually without condescending to her as if she is some innocent little baby. and marcy would make sokka feel appreciated in turn, and they’d just talk incessantly about all their overlapping interests that no one else understands. they’re just in their own little nerd bubble, having the time of their lives
I feel like katara would be the same way around mrs boonchuy that sprig was where she is so desperate to be adopted as her surrogate daughter that she constantly helps out at the restaurant and when mrs boonchuy insists on paying her for her labor katara is secretly disappointed because it means that mrs boonchuy doesn’t see her as family and whenever she’s like “I wish my daughter could be as hardworking and responsible as you” katara is awkwardly like “oh well.... I wish my mom could be as..... alive as you..... hahahahahahaha.......” and mrs b just falls silent. “is there anything you would like to talk about katara”
hop pop and zuko would not get along at first because zuko is wary of cranky old men and hop pop is wary of teenagers with attitudes but then they’d discover that they are both thespians at heart and bond over their love of The Theatre. hop pop is overjoyed that he has found someone who truly appreciates “The Shallow Pond.” even marcy didn’t like that, and she’s into seeds
suki immediately takes ivy under her wing like duh. she teaches her kyoshi form, and ivy teaches her how to hop on lilypads, which suki actually manages to do despite being a human and not a frog. they have a great time causing mischief together
iroh and felicia compare tea in what is ultimately an extremely long conversation. everyone else is forced to leave the room because watching them flirt makes anyone in the vicinity want to puke
mai and maddie bond over having annoying baby siblings and being mistaken for being cold and creepy despite actually being very kind and sweet just because they happen to be interested in the gothic and other cool things like that. mai shows maddie how to throw knives, and maddie shows mai how to enchant her knives so that they can be controlled telekinetically. they have fun
as for sasha, it’s hard to say whether she would get along better/worse with azula or ty lee, since she has things in common with both of them that would make their respective meetings really interesting. but I think sasha and ty lee would actually make for a richer dynamic, bc they could wage intense psychological warfare against each other and it would all be so subtle and underhanded no one else would even notice
I think I wanna see azula fight general yunan. I think that would be an insane and epic fight

Sim ages at the start of my Uberhood
I'm using a 2 days = 1 year age mod to play this new Uberhood I'm panning (and actually already started to play when I need pause from the Somersets) and with a really difficult algorithm I have calculated each Sim's age with the default aging system and translated it into their age with the mod, all with the help of SimPE (I have quite a lot of free time currently xD). Mod Sav here! My favorite ships are Irosami, Makonora, Makorra, YuTen, Zutara, Azutara, and JetLee, but I like any ship that makes my brain sparkle. I’ve been in fandom for almost 3 years, joining during the Renaissance initially as a ZK shipper but branching out into different ships and then into LoK as well. I’m a writer and sometimes artist, and occasional beta. A fun fact about me is that I wrote my longest fic (273k words) in just under six months.

Hello, I'm mod Crooked! I joined the ATLA fandom officially with the renaissance of 2020 but was first introduced to it back in college. I am a writer and beta reader in this fandom as well as others, and am your resident villain devotee. Rarepairs and crackships have always been my favourite, though I am -- to no one's surprise at this point -- partial to pairings involving Zhao. As for a fun fact, some of my non-fanfiction work has been published, which is cool, I guess, if you're into poetry.
