To me, it looks like Samguel and Keenry are staying together this season. There might be some small problems, but overall things will be great between the couples this season.

hi! could you write something where daniel larusso is at soccer practice & his girlfriend is there watching him, and then afterwards when practice is done, they sneak off under the bleachers and talk & hold hands and kiss? y'know, just typical high school stuff 🫶🏻 thank you!
You've Got A Smile That Can Light Up This Whole Town — Daniel Larusso
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing [s] : daniel larusso x reader
warning [s] : none
a/n [s] : thank YOU for the request! I hope this fulfills what you asked.
Tumblr media
You sat on the bleachers, doing your homework two classes before. The hot sun beams down on you as you stare at Daniel. In all of his glory, he passed the ball through the green grass on the field. His coach is yelling at the team to “get themselves together” because they had choked the scrimmage.
The coach says they're off for the day and you see him running his sweaty hair back. Daniel picks up his stuff from the ground, takes his water bottle out, and takes a chug from it. You hear his Long Island accent ring out as he talks to one of his teammates, Josh. You were never quite fond of his team, as some of them had messed with your best friend.
A couple minutes later you finished your homework and put it in your backpack. You continued staring at Daniel. It was hard not to. His gorgeous tan skin was shining in the sun. He was slightly sweaty, shaking out his dark-brown hair. Daniel walked around the bleachers and up the stairs, carrying his soccer bag. You smile at him as he drops his bag next to yours and sits down. “Hey, Danny! How was the practice? You smell like sweat.” You teased and he put his arm around your shoulders. “Hey there.. the practice was good. Coach just will not get off of us over a scrimmage.” He says groaning.
“So dramatic aren't you? Wanna go under the bleachers? This heat is killing me.” You say, picking up your backpack and standing up. “And I'm the dramatic one?” Daniel says, grabbing his stuff and following you as you race down the stairs and to under the metal bleachers.
There's a couple people, mostly you and Daniel’s friends that are relaxing. You wave at your friend from chemistry and she smiles at you, just before her obnoxious boyfriend starts eating her mouth again. You make sure there are no teachers and pull Danny’s hand to get him closer to you. It provided a secret hiding place for you and Daniel to spend time together.
Daniel takes his jacket from his bag and puts it on the ground for you two to sit on. “Such a gentleman aren't you?" You said, grabbing his jersey to pull him down to the ground with you. He pulls out a couple of snacks his Mother packs for him whenever he has practiced. It's an assortment of finger food, crackers, and pretzels.
“How was class?” Daniel asks eventually, swinging his arms around your shoulders once more pulling you into his side. You remember, one day, his mother said you fit together like puzzle pieces and you almost cried. He was your best love, the sweetest and most caring boy ever who was completely fearless. “It was good. Mr. Johnson was yelling at this girl today and it was so hilarious.” Daniel laughs along with you as he stares at you while you speak about other classes you've had today.
Daniel was always a romantic after being raised extremely well by Lucille. He would never let you open a door if he was there, even if it was your bedroom door. The way he wrote notes for you and hid them in your books for every class. You always wondered how you were able to catch him. The star of the soccer team and the star of the Miyagi-Do Karate dojo. Even if he was the only one in the dojo.
“How was your day Danny? How was class?” You ask, taking another handful of snacks to eat. He starts talking about an annoying teacher, and a random thing that happened with Johnny. You can't help but admire him, the way he always has a small smile on his face when he explains stuff. His nose squeezes together whenever he eats a super salty pretzel but he continues explaining.
“Are you even listening baby?” Daniel says a few seconds later, after seeing (what he calls it) “your head in the clouds look”. You shake your head out of your daydream. “No! No, I'm listening. You were talking about Ashley Henderson!” You spout out, not sure if you were exactly right. You lay further on his shoulder and you smell his cologne. “Yeah alright." Danny’s Long Island was thicker whenever he was slightly tired. After practice, he would be almost unintelligible as you heard the way his words would stick together.
“Y’know. My Ma asked if you wanted to come over for dinner tonight. We're having her famous lasagna I think. My Nonna taught it to her.” Daniel asks, running his fingers down your spine, something he did unconsciously whenever you laid on him.
You sat up slightly, looking up at his baby browns and his jaw. He has a small scar on the edge of his face from falling when he was younger. You always liked to kiss over it whenever you were alone. Secretly, Daniel loved it too. You let your lips fall on the scar, giving a small peck onto it. "Yeah, I'll come. Lucille always makes the best food. She could serve me mud and grass and I think I would still eat it.
“She does make pretty good food doesn't she?” He says, giving you a small smirk before holding his hand out for you to take. It was something he did after he got punched in the lip and you said he couldn't talk just in case he'd hurt his lip and to “hold out your hand if you want me to hold it.” You grabbed his hand and interlocked your fingers together with his. He smiled at you before leaning close to your face.
You connect your lips with his, giving a slow kiss to him. Daniel slowly reaches his hand to your face, holding it as you continue kissing. Some of Danny's teammates walk up behind him and smack his shoulders before saying, “Get some!” You had to pull away to laugh as he turned away embarrassed.
“Your teammates are crazy Danny.” You say, pointing out the obvious as Daniel runs his hand down your arm. “Yeah I know. I gotta’ play with them baby.” He says sarcastically throwing his head to the side. You laugh at him as he readjusts his hips, slowly pushing them up to fix his back.
You grin as you lay back down on his shoulder. After it got hurt during the karate tournament, you were always careful about putting too much pressure on it. Daniel told you it was fine, but you were still worried. Danny stares up at the clock that sat outside and looks back at you. “We have five minutes until our next class. What do you wanna do for the rest? Jus’ relax or am I thinking what you're thinking..?”
You push yourself up off the ground and stare into Daniel’s eyes. After dating Daniel for a year, you always notice his eyes have a sense of mischievousness in them. Lucille would always point it out too, how whenever he would look at something, there would always be a look in his eyes daring himself to do something.
"Oh, Daniel! No… I'm gonna get to class before I'm late. You know I have Mr. Thompson." You said, gently slapping his shoulder. He always knows you're joking, but you see him pretend to be upset and pout his lip out. You grab your backpack off the ground and his jacket. He grabs your arm and pulls you into a hug. "Hey, I'll see you later," Daniel says. You smile before hugging him again and kissing his cheek before walking off to your class. He waves you off, staring at you and you walk away.

Everything Has Changed | Cobra!Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz x Chubby!LaRusso!Reader
CW: teen pregnancy, angst, crying, kind of enemies to lovers.
Tumblr media
Reader felt her heart leap into her throat as she stared down at the stupid plastic stick in her had. Pregnant.
"Fuck," she huffed and hit the wall with her fist out of frustration. "Dad is gonna freak the fuck out."
Her heart thumped hard in her chest as tears pricked the corners of her eyes. How one earth was she supposed to explain this to him or the rest of her family? What would she tell her friends? Her sister especially.
And of course the guy she slept with, multiple times after heated arguments and near spitting vile names at each other. How was she supposed to tell the most annoying, egotistical guy she knew that she was pregnant with his baby?
She didn't want to think about it but all the troubles invaded her mind anyway. With a huff and a deep breath, she harshly wiped away her tears and tossed the pregnancy test in the trash. However, when she looked in the bathroom mirror, she felt sick to her stomach.
Here she was, a LaRusso knocked up in high school...
"What the Hell am I going to do?"
Tumblr media
As the days went by, Reader tried to act as if everything was fine. She went to school, did everything she had to, and made excuses as to why she couldn't go to karate afterward. She skipped going to the dojo, telling her dad and sister that she was hanging out with friends or needed to do homework. Before they could object, she slipped away and didn't let them get a word in.
It worked for a while but she knew that sooner or later, she was going to have to either get more creative in her excuses or tell them the truth. She really didn't want to do the latter, so she started making up all sorts of things to tell them. Her absences eventually reached her mother, who gently confronted her one night while doing the dishes after dinner.
"So, are you avoiding your father or are you just sick of karate?" she asked.
Reader scrubbed a plate and kept her head down. Another lie slipped past her lips with ease as she spoke. "I'm sick of it. I just didn't want to hurt Dad's feelings. You know how he gets."
Her mom let out a small laugh. "That I do. Well, I'll talk to him and make him ease up on ya. How does that sound?"
"Like a dream."
But the word didn't stop there. It traveled through the karate community and reached one mohawked menace's ears.
While walking to the library during one of her classes, Reader was suddenly grabbed by the elbow. She pulled her arm out of her unwanted company's hand and turned to him with a glare, staring Hawk down as he smirked. She spat, "What do you want?"
"Heard you were quitting Miyagi-Do," he said, an amusement in his tone. "Heard your dad's a pain in the ass, so I thought I'd come to extend an irrefutable offer to you."
"No dice," she said and put her head forward, continuing her walk. He annoyingly followed, so she continued. "Like Hell I'd even join that pitiful excuse you call a dojo. Besides, I didn't quit karate. I'm on a break."
"That's so lame," he huffed. She could practically hear the way he rolled his eyes. "Come on, you'll like it. It's a whole lot better than that lame Miyagi-Do crap you do."
"First of all, are you even listening to me? I said I'm taking a break," she said, not sparing him a glance. "Second of all, don't disrespect Mr. Miyagi like that. He shared his culture with my father and was like a grandfather to me. Just because you have a different way of doing karate doesn't make my way wrong."
"Jeez, chill out, LaRusso," he grunted. He glared at her, but there was a glint in his eyes. "What's got your mood so sour?"
She ignored him as she walked into the library, but it was futile as he followed behind her. She tried to walk faster than him, though unfortunately for her, she was tired and her body was a little sore. He caught up fast and stayed behind her as she browsed the shelves. However, she couldn't do that for long when he turned her around and pinned her against the bookcase, looking at her with that same glint in his eyes.
"Have I ever told you how you're kinda hot when you're pissed off?" he asked.
She looked at him, her breath caught in her throat. His hot breath fanned her face and made her knees weak, a fact she hated to admit to because he was so annoying. His bad-boy attitude was what both frustrated and attracted her to him, not that they'd ever discussed stupid things like feelings. They screwed around when things got tense; when their adrenaline was up from throwing insults at each other; when words escaped them and the only thing to do was smash their lips into each other and tear one another's clothes off.
But that couldn't happen this time, so she put her hands on his chest to prevent him from getting any closer. He gave her a weird look, almost offended.
"What? Tired of me too?" he asked.
"Grow up," she huffed and tried to shove him away, but he remained sturdy in his position.
He shook his head. "Be real with me, Reader. If you wanna me a bitch and go fuck someone else, then just tell me. There's plenty of other girls I could go to."
When she didn't say anything, he started to pull away. That was when she grabbed him by the front of his hoodie and pulled him back. He had to catch himself on the bookcase behind and he almost missed the words she hissed out.
"I'm pregnant, you fucking asshole."
He stared at her, holding himself over her, eyes slowly going wide as what she said set in. She watched the seething Cobra melt away, leaving behind a terrified teenage boy who was just as scared as the teenage girl in front of him. It broke her.
It broke her because if the all-mighty Hawk was scared, what did that mean?
She looked away from him as tears came to her eyes. "Jesus fucking Christ..."
Reader would have crumpled to the ground had he not been there to catch her. He held her up by her arms but unlike all the other times he held her, his grip wasn't rough or tight. It was firm and gentle.
"Are you fucking serious?" he asked dumbly.
She nodded, afraid to look at him as she quietly cried into her hand. She also didn't want to show him her tears, her weakness. It was too much to think about, stupidly so given the bombshell she'd just delivered to him. Why was she so concerned if he saw her cry? There were bigger fish to fry.
Then he did something unexpected. He hugged her.
His warmth suddenly became something different, something she never expected to feel from him. It wasn't lustful. It wasn't just body heat. It was comforting. So she buried her face in his chest and cried as quietly as she could, wrapping her arms around his waist and hugging him back.
Reader didn't know what he was thinking. She couldn't begin to imagine what was going through his head. Perhaps it was similar thoughts to what she had when she found out about the pregnancy, but unless she asked then she'd have no way of knowing. She didn't have it in her to ask at that moment though. All she could do was cry and he let her.
Tumblr media
It wasn't as if Reader was new to keeping secrets from her family. She'd snuck out of the house numerous times without her parents knowing and she'd been fucking Hawk behind her sister's back. They were so wrapped up in their own problems that they didn't realize she was gone most of the time. However, hiding a pregnancy was a lot harder than anything else, mostly because it was frustrating.
The hardest night came when her dad made sushi for dinner.
Reader sat with her family as they enjoyed their meal and she sat quietly poking it with her chopsticks. It sucked not being able to eat a family favorite. She was starving and her parents had made the one thing she couldn't eat, not that they knew that.
"What's the matter, Reader?" her dad asked from his seat. He looked at her concerned, shifting his eyes between her and the plate in front of her. "You've hardly touched your food."
She felt a little tense. Everyone's eyes turned onto her and she hated it. She pushed her plate away and lied. "I'm not that hungry."
"You've hardly eaten today, you should really it," her mom said, pushing the plate back in front of her.
It was true, she hadn't eaten much, but that was because of the massive waves of nausea.
She pushed the plate away again and tried to ignore the way her stomach felt like it was going to eat itself. It was just her luck that on a night like this, her dad made sushi of all things. "Really, I'm not that hungry."
"Is something wrong?" her dad asked. It was the final straw on her already tense and hormonal back.
"I'm fine! God, why can't you guys just leave me alone?" she shouted, pushing herself away from the table and standing up. She stomped upstairs and slammed her bedroom door shut, tears pricking the corners of her eyes by the time she made it there. She loved the door to make sure no one followed her inside, knowing that was exactly what her dad or Sam would do.
She sat in bed for a while, waiting for the tears to stop, but they didn't. It was like a dam had burst from behind her eyes and now she couldn't make the tears stop. She did the only thing she could think of to do; she texted Hawk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"So you haven't told your parents yet?" Hawk asked as he unwrapped a taco. He looked up at Reader as they sat in his cat. She was using the middle console as a little table as she poured sauce packets on her taco. He couldn't help watching her.
She felt his eyes on her and she didn't mind it so much as before. He'd been looking at her all night ever since he picked her up from her house. It somehow made her feel better, probably because he was the only person that knew what she was going through.
She looked up at him and shook her head. "No, my dad is gonna freak out and try to kill you when he finds out."
"I can handle myself," Hawk said, unafraid of Mr. LaRusso.
She hummed. "You won't say that when he's coming after you."
"I'm not scared of your dad, Reader."
"Yeah, okay," she said, then bit into her taco. Her cheeks were still stained with tear tracks but she didn't bother to clean them up. She was too tired and too hungry to be bothered with such a silly thing. So she decided to enjoy her tacos in silence.
Well, as much silence that could be achieved with the radio playing modern pop music. It was low and not really noticeable until the pair quieted down. That was how they sat for several minutes until they both finished their meal.
Reader disrupted the upbeat pop song playing by crinkling her taco wrappers and tossing them back into the bag from which they came. Hawk took the bag from her and hopped out of the car to walk it to the trashcan nearby. It allowed Reader to sit back and really look at the situation she'd gotten herself into; here she was with a student from the dojo her father hated, was bitter rivals with, eating tacos in a parking lot like it was a normal everyday thing to do. Oh, and she was pregnant with his baby, to top things off.
It was a hot mess and as she realized this, the storm of emotions reemerged. However, rather than let it get the best of her, Reader turned up the radio's volume and sang along to the Taylor Swift song that was playing.
When Hawk returned, he was met with the blasting volume and Reader singing at the top of her lungs. He slipped into the car, watching her carefully before turning the volume down a little bit.
"You okay?" he asked.
She looked at him, pausing her serenade. "I don't know."
"Why's that?"
"Maybe it has to do with the fact that I'm pregnant in high school and my dad is gonna kill me when he finds out," she said, sighing heavily. Then she shook her head. "Well, no, that's not true. He'll kill you and I'll be unscathed except for the fact that I know he's gonna be majorly disappointed and somehow that's worse than him being mad enough to commit murder."
Hawk reached over to her and rubbed her shoulder comfortingly. He offered as much comfort as he could, being the boy who had knocked her up and had yet to tell his own parents. A part of him understood the immense amount of pressure she was under but only a small fraction of it because he wasn't the one that was pregnant. He was just the guy.
Still, he offered his support. "Hey, it's gonna be okay."
"It doesn't feel like it," she mumbled.
They sat in silence for another few minutes, aside from the radio. She put her hand on his, accepting his comforting gesture. It helped soothe her mind, let her forget about the troubles that she would have to face, and allowed her to push them away again. He reminded her that she wasn't totally alone in all of this, which was what she had expected to come after she told him she was pregnant.
After all, he was a total jerk. At least that was what she was led to believe. He was a part of Cobra Kai, the asshole assembly that terrorized her sister and friends on a near-daily basis.
However, as they sat in his car under the lights of streetlamps and the Taco Town neon sign, she didn't see a Cobra.
She saw the boy who was scared of everything, the one he tried to erase from everyone's memory. No matter how hard he tried, he now sat in front of her, hair down, closed off to the world, quiet. Deep in thought, he didn't say anything, and he looked like a brief memory more than a person. He looked like Hawk, but she remembered-
"Eli..."
He looked up at her, a little shocked to hear that name fall from her lips. She spoke it softly, testing the waters. However, unlike how he lashed out at Demetri for using that name, his eyes softened from their startled state and he met her eye.
"Yeah?"
"What are we gonna do?"
He licked his lips and croaked, "I don't know..."
It fell silent again. The radio played. She looked down at their hands and sighed, letting the question and answer go. She was too tired to think about it or try to figure things out.
Then the song changed. It was an Ed Sheeran love song. The air filled with soft melodies and sweet tones. Reader felt awkward as it came on and tried to pull her hand away but he held it firmly, making her look up. Her heartbeat picked up when their eyes met again. He drew closer and she felt a magnetic pull as the nerves faded away. Their lips brushed against each other gently at first, then fully came together in a soft, long kiss.
She slipped a hand into his hair and his other hand came up to hold her waist. Their joined hands stayed together and he squeezed her hand, leaning into her to deepen the kiss. She let out a small moan, melting into it. Something about it was better than any other kiss she'd ever had.
But she was scared to pull away. So when it ended, she sighed and didn't open her eyes. Softly, she asked, "This can't be fake."
He looked at her, confused. "What do you mean?"
She took a deep breath before she looked at him. "I mean, if you're feeling obligated to be with me... because of the baby..."
He stared at her, then cupped her face and brought her lips to his once more. "I'm only obligated to be here because this is my baby too, but that's not why I'm kissing you. Reader... I've always had feelings for you."
"You hated me a few months ago."
"Before any of that," he told her. She stared at him, questing in entirely. "I never hated you. I could never hate you, Reader LaRusso."
She licked her lips. "Before?"
He nodded. "Way before."
She smiled softly, assured that this wasn't just circumstantial. And she kissed him again.

HIGHWAY TO HELL.
Tumblr media
❥⠀masterlist. ⠀:⠀ ( the karate kid masterlist. )
synopsis: headcanons of johnny dating a reader in miyagi-do.
warnings: johnny is jealous. lovers to rivals to lovers?. slight angst & fluff. one cobra kai reference. not proof read.
pairings: johnny lawrence   𝒙   fem!reader.
josie's note .⁺ ˖ ⌒ this was a request for anon, but i accidentally deleted the ask, i'm so sorry, but i hope you enjoy. — likes, & reblogs are highly appreciated ♡ !!
Tumblr media
Johnny thinks you’re a total badass for doing karate. He loves having that as a way to bond with you, since karate is practically his whole life.
You definitely kept that fact that you’re training with Mr. Miyagi and Daniel on the down low. Whenever he asks what or where your dojo is, you quickly distract him with a kiss on the lips.
You love Johnny, but it boils your blood whenever you watch as he and the Cobras relentlessly torment Daniel. You constantly have to reprimand him for it.. which leads to a lot of arguing.
The secret’s finally out after the Halloween dance, when you, Daniel and, Mr. Miyagi marched into the Cobra Kai dojo. As Mr. Miyagi and Kreese argue, you couldn’t help but feel Johnny’s stare piercing into you.
“Why did you lie to me?” Johnny snaps. You recoil as he slams your locker door closed.
“I didn’t lie…” a sigh escapes your lips. “I just didn’t tell you.”
“Yeah, you didn’t tell me that you're spending all your free-time with that punk!” He sneers, his lip curling into an ugly scowl.
"Yeah, well that punk is my friend! You promised me that you guys would leave Daniel alone. Next thing I see, you guys are kicking the shit out of him—" You retort angrily, your nails digging into your palm.
"Oh, friend, yeah? You're getting pretty close to your friend." Johnny scoffs, the venom dripping from his voice.
Yeah… Johnny’s jealousy spikes through the roof once he connects the dots. All those times you spent at your karate practices, or were busy over the weekend was to train with Daniel Larusso —his enemy— against Cobra Kai, no less.
You probably (temporarily) break up after that, both of you firmly dedicated to your side of the karate “war”.
You try to avoid him as much as humanly possible. When you see him in the halls, you grab Daniel’s arm and turn yourselves around. You sit at the furthest table away from him and his group at lunch.
Although he’s unreasonably angry with you, he misses you so much. He misses your jokes, sparring together, going on dates with you to Golf ‘n Stuff, riding with you on his motorbike. But unfortunately his loyalty to Kreese and Cobra Kai triumphs over your relationship.
When the All-Valley finally rolls around, you wait on the sidelines, anxiously watching Daniel get through the first few rounds. You try to keep your gaze away from a certain blond cobra, but a few stolen glances let you know that Johnny is well on his way to the final round.
There’s a short intermission before the final match. Your heart is beating out of your chest, and you decide to get some water. Walking out into the hall, you find the last person you expected standing in front of the water fountain.
“Johnny?”
“Ready to watch me kick your boyfriends’ ass?” Johnny smirks, taking a sip from his water bottle, his gaze firmly avoiding you.
“He’s not my boyfriend. You are.. or at least you were until you turned into this jealous prick,” you quipped, the words slipping out before you could stop yourself.
“You were supposed to be on my side!”
“I am on your side!”
“No, you’re not!” You failed to miss the way his eyes become glassy, and a pang of guilt bloomed in your chest. “You—”
The interrupting intercom blared throughout the gym, echoing into the hallway. Johnny takes a shallow breath, unfamiliar nerves wracking through his body. “Whatever… I guess I’ll see you out there rooting for me.” He finished in a sarcastic manner, his eyes finally meeting yours.
“I’m always rooting for you, Johnny.”
Much to your surprise, Daniel managed to beat Johnny, and was crowned as the new All-Valley champion. Although you were proud of your friend, part of you felt sorry for Johnny.
Even more so, once you went outside the gym and watched as he was berated and assaulted by his own Sensei. Mr. Miyagi thankfully came to his aid, successfully knocking down Kreese.
You slowly approached Johnny and the other Cobras, who were perched miserably on the sidewalk. You sat down next to the bloody-nosed blond, wrapping an arm around him and resting your head on his shoulder.
Miyagi-do or not, in the end, you’d still pick him— every time.

WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?
Learning karate was a lot different then you expected it to be.
Mr. Larusso—Sensei Larusso—was nice and super patient with you for someone who barely knew what they were doing. He also seemed entirely too giddy at the thought of you being a new student and could barely contain his excitement the first day you walked into his dojo.
Robby and Sam had been off on their own training, which you guess made sense given that they were a lot more skilled and proficient in the art then you were. It still felt odd.
Because instead of actual training, you were doing chores. Well, they’d seemed like chores at first but it became clear pretty early on that it was a trick for the muscle memory aspect — the defence would pay off upon doing the movements repetitively.
Waxing the cars, sanding the deck, painting the house.
At first you’d been afraid it was some elaborate trick of Sam’s just to get you to do the chores she didn’t want you to do, or that Mr. Larusso needed help with—but you knew Sam and quickly deduced that that was as far fetched as it could get.
Besides, while it hurt your back and your arms were incredibly sore, doing the chores got your mind off of things. Provided a distraction. One you’d desperately needed, and in the scheme of things didn’t mind all that much.
Enough so that when you finished sanding the deck on your first day, a good two hours later, you’d all but skipped over to Mr. Larusso with a smile on your face. “Mr. Larusso,” you call out to him, eyes flickering briefly to Sam and Robby whose stood next to him. “I finished the deck.”
“Perfect timing, Y/N,” he grins, causing you to blink in response.
“What’s happening?” You ask, tilting your head in confusion.
Sam and Mr. Larusso eye each other briefly, before the latter turns to you; “we’re going on a trip.”
Turns out the trip meant heading to the beach house that Mr. Larusso and his family often frequented, the four of you piling into Mr. Larusso’s car—the ‘banana boat’ Sam dubbed it, which you were told was a gift from Mr. Miyagi, Mr. Larusso’s Sensei. Sam was sat up front with her father, while you and Robby were in the back.
You haven’t really gotten the chance to talk to Robby beyond your small, rather awkward chat at the Valley Festival. You weren’t really sure how to approach him given that he didn’t really seem to, well, like you all that much.
“I still don’t understand how going to the beach is gonna help us get students.”
“It’s not the students that I’m after,” Mr. Larusso answers Robby, briefly glancing over at the both of you. “It’s the parents.”
“So,” Sam speaks up, her brows furrowing in disbelief. “You’re counting on kids listening to their parents?”
You nod, “yeah. No offence, Mr. Larusso, but kids almost make it their goal not to listen to their parents.”
“No, no, I’m counting on parents doing whatever it takes to protect their kids.” He rebuttals, shaking his head. “Look, I’ve tried everything else to promote Miyagi-Do. If this doesn’t work… nothing will.”
Well, you can’t help but think, hopefully then it will.
-
Mr. Larusso told you to make yourself comfortable…
What did that even mean?
You’ve never been to a beach house, let alone such a fancy one and the bathing suit Sam had let you borrow was far beyond your level of comfort. You can’t remember the last time you’ve gone swimming or worn a swimsuit, especially in front of others.
Especially in front of a boy.
Even, really, a girl too.
Your outings with Eli and Demetri had consisted of the comic book shop, the arcade or a movie at one of your houses. This was different—far too different and you felt extremely out of your element.
You’d yet to meet up with Sam and Robby yet, it felt a lot more awkward when you were with the both of them. Sam and Robby were obviously friends, close ones at that, and yeah, you and Sam got along but it’s like every time you were within the vicinity of Robby, he looked like he’d rather be anywhere else.
At the very least, away from you.
How were you supposed to approach that? You’d been friends with only Eli and Demetri for as long as you had because you didn’t know how to talk to people.
But you also couldn’t hide forever.
Unfortunately.
So, steeling your nerves, you pull the sleeves of your shirt further down your arms, making your way over to where you saw Sam and Robby settle down. Only, as you make your way over, you only see Robby.
“Hey,” you call softly, ignoring the slight shake of your voice. Robby turns to you at the sound of your voice, faltering slightly when he realizes it’s you.
You ignore the look, taking a seat on the bench next to him. “Where’s Sam?”
“She went to talk with Aisha.”
Your lips form an ‘o’, nodding to yourself as you shuffle back on the bench, trying to get comfortable. You can’t help but briefly glance to your left, at Robby, and hope that he’ll say something else. Anything else.
He seems determined to ignore you.
“Why do you hate me?”
The words slip past your lips before you even realize you’re saying them, shocking you just as much as they shock Robby.
Robby jerks at your sudden question, head snapping back round to glance at you in confusion. “What?”
“I mean, you must,” you mumble, fumbling with the hem of your shirt. “You never talk to me and you look like you’d rather be anywhere else then here with me right now.”
Robby frowns, unable to deny, shrugging his shoulders, “I don’t hate you. I just don’t trust you.”
Brows furrowing, you shake your head; “why?”
“Because you’re friends with Miguel,” Robby huffs, “and he’s one of them.” He spits the last word with such disgust, an angry look crossing his features as he scoffs at you.
“Miguel’s my friend,” you nod, shrugging. “But that doesn’t mean I agree with what they’re doing.” Then, after a moment, you add; “besides, you’re not the only one whose suffered because of Cobra Kai.”
Robby’s brows furrow but his face softens at your words nonetheless, a mixture of surprise and confusion flooding his features as he stares back at you. He hadn’t been expecting an answer, especially such a calm one at that.
Really, with the way he’d been treating you, you’d have every right to get mad. Or, at the very least, a little upset.
Swallowing thickly, Robby shifts; “why did you decide to join Miyagi-Do.”
“I dunno,” you whisper. “At first I was determined to avoid all karate. Karate is what took away my best friend. But then, when I saw your guys’ performance at the festival, I knew then that Miyagi-Do was different. I couldn’t look away.”
Meeting Robby’s gaze, you smile softly. “Besides, I could use some friends too.”
He blinks at that, lips parting in bafflement.
He hadn’t expected that. Any of it. Least of all the sadness in your voice as you explained your reasoning.
Suddenly, Robby feels guilty for the way he’d treated you. He’d barely even given you a chance before he just decided that you weren’t in it for real and that you were just like the rest of them. That you didn’t really care about Miyagi-Do. When really, you’d been just as hurt by Cobra Kai and all of it like him and Sam.
Lips parting, Robby stammers for a response; “I-I…—”
You just shake your head, waving him off; “it’s okay, Robby. You don’t have to explain yourself. I just hope you’ll give me a chance.”
“Yeah,” he nods, perhaps slightly too quickly as you let out a light giggle at his eagerness. “Yeah, sure.”
Your smile beams all too quickly and it’s clear you’re desperate for him to like you; “great!”
-
“Hey, have any of you seen my wallet?”
Turning at the sound of Mrs. Larusso’s voice, you blink as you watch her search through her beach bag, a look of desperation and slight panic on her face. Robby and Sam are stood before you, glancing at each other briefly before back at Mrs. Larusso.
“Wait,” Robby frowns, “you’re missing your wallet?”
“It’s gotta be around here somewhere,” she shakes her head. “Can you just spread out? I’m sure it’ll turn up somewhere.”
You nod, moving to walk off in search until you notice the look on Robby’s face. He’s shuffling off quickly, something in his gaze as he makes his way past Mrs. Larusso. “I’ll check the beach,” he explains, setting his bag down. “Maybe someone turned it in to the lifeguard.”
Your brows furrow as you watch him, something felt strange about the way he rushed off. You turn to Sam to ask if she knew but she’s already got her sights set on something and your eyes flicker upwards only to find the back to Aisha and who you assume is the new friend Sam mentioned she was with.
For a moment, you pause, unsure who to follow or if you should just go looking on your own. But the truth was, Robby had seemed uncomfortable the entire time you’d been there—it was subtle, but you’d gotten good at noticing things other people didn’t.
It was the perks of being in background.
“I’m gonna go help Robby,” you explain to Mrs. Larusso who nods at you distractedly.
It’s easy enough to follow Robby but you’re a few steps behind him, by the time you reach him he’s perched behind the stairs leading down to the beach. Your brows furrow as you watch him for a moment, slowing down your pace.
“Robby, what are you—”
The next second a handful of wallets fall to the floor. Sure enough, Mrs. Larusso’s is there as well.
“I knew it,” Robby huffs.
“How did you—”
“Yo, but did you see the shorty in the green thong?”
You blink at the new voice, mildly disgusted by the boys words as you glance up. There’s two footsteps heading down the stairs directly above you, just as a second voice calls out; “oh, man, I ain’t thinking about that right now.”
In the next second, Robby’s turning on his phone, starting a recording through the camera before he grabs you by the wrist, yanking you back. You stumble over your feet blindly for a moment, before catching your footing, turning to him in confusion as he tucks you and himself under the stairs, obviously trying to hide himself.
“All right, let’s get the stuff. We gonna bolt.”
“Just like that.”
He places himself in front of you, hiding you slightly from sight as the two boys come to a stop in front of you. By the looks on their faces, they know Robby.
“This guy here, man,” the one with the ball cap scoffs, shaking his head.
Stepping out from beneath the stairs, Robby shrugs; “same shit, different summer.”
Just what the hell was happening right now?
“What are you doing here, Robby?”
“Found your stash,” Robby gestures behind him, just as you slowly step out yourself. “You’re gonna give it all back.”
The taller, skinnier one scoffs; “the hell we are.”
“You didn’t learn your lesson last time? That’s cool. We can give you a refresher course.”
Shaking your head, you step forward; “Robby, what the h*ll is going on? How do you know these guys?”
Turning to you, Robby frowns; “just step back, Y/N. These guys stole from Mrs. Larusso.”
“I figured that much out myself,” you deadpan, “why do you know them?”
“Because Robby used to do it with us, sweet cheeks,” the ball cap wearing one grins, stepping closer to you as he eyes you up and down. “Man, where’d you find yourself such a sweet piece of a**, Robby?”
Bewildered by what he said and disgusted by his treatment of you, you shake your head, scoffing.
Robby huffs, “just shut up and bring it—“
He steps forward in preparation but then a shadow falls behind the both of you and you notice the man stood behind Robby a second too late. He brings a paddle to the back of Robby’s head, knocking him off his feet and straight to the ground as you gasp in response, quickly jumping away from the guy.
The two others laugh, “what you forgot this was a three man job?”
Glaring at them, you spin to face them; “what is wrong with you?” Racing forward, you move to swing a hit, only to have it easily blocked. It’s the one wearing the ball cap that catches your fist and you freeze in realization—you’ve trained in Miyagi-Do for approximately one day.
And all you’d done was sand a deck.
Why exactly had you thought you’d be able to take these guys?
Spinning you around, he locks you in his grip, wrapping an arm around your neck to hold you firmly to his chest as you huff. You try to work your way out but all the guy does is squeeze tighter, making you groan out slightly in response.
A huff catches your attention however, and your eyes widen when you see Robby slowly crawling to his knees.
“Robby!”
“You know,” the boy holding you calls out, “for a smart kid, you sure do learn slow.”
The man who’d hit Robby makes his way over to him, picking him back up to his feet by his shoulders, all but yanking him to his feet before putting him in a headlock similar to you. Except the guy holding Robby is twice his size and by the reddening of Robby’s face, you figure he’s holding him a lot tighter.
“Maybe,” the skinny one laughs, “we need to leave him something to remember him us by.”
Your eyes widen when he pulls out a pocket knife.
“Wait, no,” you cry, fighting the boy who’s holding you grip. He just squeezes tighter, making your face feel hot as you gasp for breath.
“Just wait your turn—“
He doesn’t finish his words. In the next second the boy in front of you is knocked to the ground, knife falling out of his hands, by… “Mr. Larusso?”
“Let them go.” Mr. Larusso calls out, hands held out before him.
“Don’t listen to him,” the boy holding you orders, shuffling back as you get dragged with him. Then, he stops, and suddenly you’re being thrown to the ground, landing onto the sand with a loud huff, the wind knocked out of you.
“Alright grandpa, let’s do it.”
Bracing yourself, you turn your head over your shoulder, the frown on your lips turning to a smile as you watch Mr. Larusso kick their asses—not to mention with ease.
When the guy holding Robby is the only one left, he throws him to the ground similar to how you’d been, moving to attack Mr. Larusso. You rush to Robby’s side without hesitation, your hands falling to his shoulders as you gaze down at him in concern.
“You okay, Robby?”
Meeting your gaze, Robby nods before the both of you glance back over at Mr. Larusso.
You just manage to catch sight of him roundhouse kick the last guy.
“Your grandpa know how to move like that, huh?”
Helping Robby to his feet, you laugh; “that was incredible, Mr. Larusso!”
“Yeah, well,” glancing at the both of you, Mr. Larusso nods. “Let’s just get out of here.”
-
“Mr. Miyagi didn’t recruit me. He wasn’t looking for students.”
Sitting up from your spot next to Sam, you smile at Robby and Daniel as they make their way out.
“He took me in because I needed him,” Daniel continues to explain, “I came to him, not the other way around. It’s time we be patient. Let those who need us, find us. Right?”
Daniel smiles at the three of you, and when he’s eyes meet yours you offer him a smile and a thumbs up. To you, that sounded like a perfect plan.
“Excuse me?”
Straightening at the sound of a familiar voice, your eyes widen at who you see.
“Uh, it was unclear if the gate was the front door or if I was supposed to ring the door bell.”
“Demetri?” You call out, eyes wide with shock as you stand up. Everyone’s eyes fall on you, watching as you step forward, lips parting.
“Oh, hey, Y/N. I didn’t know you were here.” Smiling, Demetri’s eyes flicker past you, head tilting; “is that a koi pond? How much does it cost to maintain that—“
Shaking your head, you interrupt him; “what are you doing here?”
“Uh, yeah…” shuffling on his feet, Demetri’s hands fall to his sides. “I wanna learn karate.”
Eyes widening, your lips part. Demetri had always been so against karate, even more than you… then again, you haven’t really talked to him in a while.
Clearly things had changed.
Smiling brightly, Daniel nods; “you’ve come to the right place.”
-
Needless to say, Demetri was exactly how you expected him to be.
He’s been your friend for as long as you can remember, and although you haven’t talk to him in a while, you knew him well. His heart wasn’t in it, it showed in the way he reacted to Mr. Larusso’s teachings.
Given that the two of you just started learning, Mr. Larusso had decided to teach you both together. But it was clear what set the two of you apart when you completed each and every task with no complaints while Demetri seemed to try to get out of it in whatever way he possibly could.
The both of you had been training for a few days now while Robby and Sam continued on their own. The movements were becoming easier and were starting to feeling natural, a thought that easily brought a smile to your face. The hard work was finally starting to pay off.
It was the start of your training for the day, Robby and Sam had already gotten started given that most of their training happened on their own now. You were just doing some stretching and warming up when Demetri made his way in for training today.
“Uh, hey, are we doing shirts versus skins?”
Looking up at the sound of his voice, your brows furrow. You glance over at Robby and Sam, who Demetri was talking to, noticing that Robby had taken off his shirt under this heat.
“Cause I’d prefer to be a shirt. Not saying that you have to be a skin,” Demetri calls out to Sam directly, causing you to roll your eyes. “Unless you want to. I support your right to choose.”
Pushing yourself up to your feet, you make your way over to Mr. Larusso whose just walked in, shaking your head at Demetri’s words.
Mr. Larusso nods at you in greeting before turning back to Demetri; “Demetri! Over here.”
He listens without fault, making his way up the stairs, before coming to a stop before the both of you. “Hey, Mr. L, before we begin…” reaching in his pocket, you pause when he pulls out a slip of paper, handing it to Mr. Larusso.
Holding the paper out in confusion, Mr. Larusso shakes his head. “What’s…”
“It’s a note from my mom excusing me from any extensive arm and leg movements.”
Eyes falling shut, you press a hand to your forehead.
“So, uh, if there’s an alternative lesson I could do… Maybe a workbook.”
Mr. Larusso sighs at Demetri’s words, but instead of responding the way you expect him to, he turns to you. “Y/N, show me ‘sand the floor’.”
Pausing in thought for a moment, you nod, kicking your leg back just as he does, and in the next second he’s turning, kicking his leg out towards you. But instead of hitting you, you block it, your hand moving down towards your side. Your eyes widen as you do, surprised at the ease with which you did.
“Excellent job, Y/N.” He smiles at you, to which you return before he turns to Demetri. “Okay, Demetri your turn. Just like Y/N. Show me ‘sand the floor’.”
Mr. Larusso does the same movements as he did with you, only Demetri doesn’t block. He simply… let’s Mr. Larusso kick him.
“Ow! You kicked me!”
Huffing, Mr. Larusso shakes his head; “why didn’t you block, Demetri? You know this. This is the muscle memory!”
“In case you haven’t noticed, I don’t have muscles.”
“Demetri,” you huff, shaking your head.
He turns to you; “what?”
“Just… do you… do you want to be here, Demetri?” Mr. Larusso asks, letting his hands fall to his sides as he turns to your friend, a frown on his lips.
“Not really.”
“Then why are you here?”
Eyes flickering to Demetri, you frown at the look on his face.
“My whole life I’ve been, let’s just say, less than popular. But at least I had a few friends.” You meet his gaze as he turns to you. “And then Cobra Kai comes to town, and next thing I know, my friends are taking karate and becoming alpha jerks.”
Shoulders falling, you glance at your feet.
“I’m literally be threatened by one of my best friends.”
Frowning, you shuffle on your feet, fiddling with your hands. You… you hadn’t know Demetri felt that way.
“I just wanted to show I could fight back.”
Stepping forward, you set your hand on Demetri’s shoulder, pulling his gaze on you. “I’m sorry,” you whisper, “I didn’t know you felt that way.”
Demetri just shakes his head; “it’s the same for you.”
Sighing, Mr. Larusso steps forward. “Look… I understand what you’re going through. I do. But Miyagi-Do isn’t about showing off. It’s about—“
“Self defenSe. I-I know. Problem is, my ‘self’ is too weak.”
Demetri walks off at that and you turn to him, eyes watching his back. You guess you’d been just as lousy of a friend to Demetri as Eli—you can’t remember the last time you’d hung out with him, just you and him.
No one else.
And while Eli had decided on just blatantly ignoring you, it seems like he’d been terrorizing Demetri. How? You didn’t know. But you’ve never seen Demetri act like that, not for as long as you’ve known him and certainly not ever when talking about Eli.
They were best friends, friends longer then with you. They’d been through everything together.
And now, Eli had just tossed him aside.
Turning to Mr. Larusso and seeing the defeated look on his face, you swallow thickly. “Don’t worry, Mr. Larusso. I’ll go talk to him.”
“You will?”
Meeting his eyes, you nod; “I’m one of his best friends.”
-
“Hey.”
Your voice is soft as you call out to Demetri, taking a seat next to him on the step as you gently bump your shoulder against his own.
He briefly glances up at you; “hey.” He offers blandly, a single nod.
Feeling the slight tension, you bring your knees up to your chest, hugging them tightly for moral support as you let your head rest on your knees. “I’m sorry about Eli, Demetri.”
Shrugging his shoulders, he waves you off. “It isn’t your fault.”
“Well, I’m also sorry I haven’t been a great friend.”
Blinking, Demetri turns to you in surprise.
“I haven’t been there for you and for that I’m sorry,” you say honestly, eyes flickering past him to stare in front of yourself. “I just couldn’t bare to be around him anymore, after… well, you know. It was too hard for me. But I should’ve still reached out to you.”
Demetri pauses a moment before slightly bumping his shoulder against yours. “If it’s any consolation, I think he misses you as much as you miss him.”
Raising a brow, you scoff at Demetri; “yeah sure. I’m sure he missed me so much while he was busy making out with Moon.”
“I’m serious. Whenever he was talking about something or when he did something impressive to show off, he’d get this look in his eyes and he’d search for you. Of course, you were never there…” Demetri explains, “he’d never admit to it of course. But, I know what I saw.”
Feeling your cheeks warm and an uncertainty on how to reply, you just pull your knees closer to yourself. “Well, doesn’t mean he’s any less of an a**hole.”
Demetri snorts, “I definitely agree with you there.”
Smiling at your success at getting him to smile, you turn to look at Demetri. “I did miss hanging out with you too, you know. Not just Eli.”
Meeting your gaze, Demetri can’t fight the smile from his lips. “Yeah, I missed you too. You unfortunately are sometimes the only sane person I know.”
Letting out a laugh, you shake your head; “thanks?”
“You’re welcome.”
Licking your lips, you hesitate on your next words. You don’t know if you should bring up Mr. Larusso or just leave it—ultimately, that was a decision Demetri needed to make for himself. You can’t force him either way.
You wanted him to take Miyagi-Do lessons because he wanted to. Not because he felt he had to.
So, choosing not to mention the elephant in the room, you grin over at him; “Robby, Sam and I were planning on heading to the mall later. Did you wanna come?”
-
“I’m more partial to his performance in ‘Donnie Darko’.”
Rolling your eyes with a smile on your face at Demetri’s words, you take a seat across from him, the both of you having just finished grabbing your food. You’d purposely delayed Demetri for the sake that it looked like Sam and Robby wanted some time alone—it was pretty obvious the two of each other had a massive crush on one another.
And with Demetri here now, you didn’t have to play the awkward third wheel.
“Interesting movie,” Demetri adds, nodding before he falters. “Time travel logic left a lot to be desired.”
Sam and Robby chuckle to one another as you grin; “I personally agree with Robby and Sam, ‘Dirty Dancing’ is the best. I used to watch it all the time as a little girl.”
Demetri pauses, “really? I would’ve—wait, is today Wednesday?”
Reeling back from Demetri’s sudden change in conversation, you watch as Robby and Sam answer his question.
“Yeah.”
“Mm-hmm.”
Demetri is suddenly snapping his fingers in your direction, “the new issue of Dungeon Lord came out,” he explains, moving to stand as your eyes widen in realization. It’s been so long since you’ve been able to hang with Demetri or even think about stuff like that you’d completely forgotten.
It was, however, good to know some things never changed.
“Um, do you guys want anything from the comic book store?”
Robby laughs, “uh, no thanks.” As Sam shakes her head.
“I’ll come with,” you shrug, pushing yourself to a stand. “It’s been a bit since I’ve gone.”
Demetri grins, “okay, we’ll be right back. Make sure no one throws away my chicken.”
He’s racing across the food court before you have another second to think, and letting out a laugh you offer a wave back at Sam and Robby before you move to follow after Demetri. The trip to the comic book store is easy enough and the second you catch up to Demetri, you shake your head at the fact that he’s slightly breathless.
“I’m gonna go look around, okay?” You turn to him, laughing. “Let me know when you find Dungeon Lord.”
Demetri nods and with that, the two of you head your separate ways, a smile on your face. This certain comic book store is quite large and you find yourself reminiscing as you look at all the comic books, surprised at all the new volumes you’d missed.
You’d have to get Demetri to catch you up on all of them.
You’re so lost in your thoughts, you barely hear the sound of something being knocked over. It sounds like a stand, the sound of books clattering along with it startles you from your thoughts the second you hear it, glancing up from the comic book in your hands with furrowed brows as you glance to your right.
You can’t really see anything, tucked away in a aisle.
But it did sound like it came from the direction Demetri had headed in.
Thinking better then to ignore it, you put the comic book back, making your way over.
“You think I’m afraid of you?” Eyes widening in concern at Demetri’s voice, you move to quicken your pace until you hear his next words. “I know who you really are… Eli.”
Eli? Eli was here?
Slowly making your way forward, you pause at the sight of him. He hasn’t noticed you, and neither has the other two with him—nor Demetri. You’ve tucked yourself behind a shelf purposely, because the mere sight of him makes everything in your body freeze. Eli looks a lot different then you remember, a red mohawk instead of a blue, and there’s this look in his eyes.
He almost seems unrecognizable. You know it’s him but there’s no trace left of the Eli you once knew. It isn’t just his hair or the clothes he wears, it’s the way he’s looking down at Demetri.
You’ve never seen him so mad. Let alone at his own best friend.
“So, why don’t you, Rocksteady and Bepop just leave me alone, okay?”
Just as Demetri moves to turn, two others come up behind him, effectively blocking his path. Your heart falls to the pit of your stomach at the sight, a sick feeling enveloping you as you shuffle back on your feet.
Something told you this wasn’t going to end well.
“Great. So this is what it’s come to,” Demetri scoffs, “gang assault.”
“Take it down, or we take you down.”
You haven’t heard his voice in a while. Not since at he All Valley tournament. You hadn’t realized avoiding him as much as you had been would make seeing him again so hard. Something as simple as just hearing his voice was making you feel stuck in your place.
“You’d actually hurt me?”
Eli doesn’t respond, and that scares you more than if he had.
“Well, guess what, you’re not the only one that knows karate.” Eyes widening at Demetri’s words, you freeze—he’d barely even learned wax on, wax off. “I just joined Miyagi-Do.”
He kicks his leg back, before pausing, switching his side in preparation.
Scoffing, Eli rolls his eyes; “all right, let’s see what you got.”
It happens in the blink of an eye, you barely have time to process what he’s doing. Eli delivers a nasty kick to Demetri’s stomach before ducking, sweeping Demetri off his feet and having him crashing to the ground.
The sight is almost unbelievable to you—obviously, you’d known Eli had changed but… but to attack Demetri like that?
Demetri really was being terrorized by him.
“Demetri!” You act on instinct, your worry over taking your apprehension as you rush out from where you’d been hiding. Your eyes meet Eli’s briefly, and it’s as if time slows as he falters at the sight of you, lips parting in bafflement at the sight of you there. You just glare at him, rushing to Demetri’s side as you fall to your knees next to him.
“What the h*ll is wrong with you?” You cry at Eli, helping to pull Demetri up by his shoulders as you stare back at Eli in disbelief.
Eli pauses, hesitant on what to say. His friends are looking at him in confusion, obviously not understanding what the problem was before he scoffs; “he was asking for it.”
You just roll your eyes, moving to say something else before you’re interrupted by the sound of the store clerk calling out; “hey, what’s going on back there?”
Demetri uses that split second of distraction to jump to his feet, pulling you with him by the wrist as he races past Eli’s two other friends, making his way out of the comic book store. The second you’re out he let’s go of your hand, a huff leaving your lips as you follow closely behind him.
“What are we doing!” You cry out, distressed.
“Do you wanna fight him?” He calls back.
And you both know the answer to that.
Demetri bumps into two people before knocking over a sunglasses stand. You shuffle back as he goes crashing to the ground once more, quickly moving to help him back up to his feet, calling out a quick apology to the owner of the sunglasses stand.
The second the two of you reach the food court, you both rush to where Robby and Sam had been.
Only, they’re not there.
“Of course they left.”
You shake your head, glancing around, “they wouldn’t have—”
But you don’t finish what you’re saying because you catch sight of Eli, making his way into the food court and as you turn, the rest of his friends are there with him. They’re circling around the two of you, leaving no room for escape as you stumble back on your feet.
“It didn’t have to be this way,” Eli calls out menacingly, eyes set directly on Demetri, “you could’ve joined Cobra Kai if you weren’t such a pussy.”
He’s gaining on the both of you, specifically Demetri, the latter backing up as he pants out; “well at least I’m not an a**hole!”
In the next second he’s grabbed, and you instantly turn to his defense. “Hey, let him—” however, before you can reach him, you feel two hands grab you by the arms, tugging you back.
“You’re dead meat.”
Turning to Eli at his words, you shake your head; “Eli, please stop! He’s your best friend!”
Eli meets your gaze, and for a moment he pauses, faltering, this look of apprehension washing over his gaze before he blinks, and it’s gone. He turns back to Demetri, and panic crawls up the back of your throat as you watch him gain on him.
Except he doesn’t make it far. In the next second Sam is rushing forward, kicking the guy who was holding Demetri back and away, just as you feel the hands holding you disappear. Robby is suddenly in front of you, hands falling on your shoulders.
“Are you okay?”
Nodding, breathless, you shuffle back as he pulls you behind him, Sam doing the same with Demetri.
“You guys need to back off.”
When you turn to Eli, his eyes are on you and Robby, a deep frown marring his lips before he turns to Sam. “I don’t wanna have to hit a girl.”
Robby jumps forward; “you wouldn’t stand a chance.”
Eli scoffs, “five against four?” Then, setting his glare on Demetri, he laughs; “more like three and a half.”
His jab causes a series of laughs from his friends to echo and then, with a single nod from him, everyone moves into action. It happens so quickly, you can barely even process what’s happening. Everybody is throwing hits at one another, Demetri huddled close to Sam as she blocks hits and takes just as many.
Before you know it Robby is suddenly no longer by your side and as you turn to find him, or get closer to Demetri, you pause at the sight of the boy from earlier who held you gaining on you.
He smirks at you, and then suddenly, without a thought, he jumps at you. It happens on instinct, your hand moving to block his punch before you stare back at yourself in amazement. It was the first time you’d been able to actually use any of what Mr. Larusso had taught you in action. The boy huffs at your block, not wasting another second as he moves to attack. He’s quicker this time, and before you know it you find yourself getting overwhelmed, unable to keep up.
It’s his third hit that nails you square in the stomach, the wind being knocked out of you as you fall to your back. A cry leaves your lips as you hit the ground, hands curling around your stomach.
“Hey! What the h*ll man!”
You don’t recognize the voice as Eli’s until he’s in front of you, pulling you up to your feet. He’s suddenly too close, hands falling on your arms as he guides you upwards. You blink up at him as he does, stunned silent at the concerned look in his eyes, a look that reminds you of the old Eli, until you remember just why you were here.
What he’d done. What he was trying to do.
“Don’t touch me!” You hiss out, breaking out of his touch. You slap his hands away, stumbling back all whilst trying to ignore the ache in your gut.
“Y/N—”
“What the h*ll is wrong with you?” You huff, turning distressed by this whole situation—a situation caused by him. “Attacking Demetri?”
Eli pauses, that look in his eyes washing away as his gaze hardens. “He deserves it. If you’d just listen to me, you’d understand—”
“Understand what?” You cut him off, your face hardening as you step towards him, still holding your stomach but putting on a brave face. “That you’re a bully?”
Lips parting, Eli falters.
“You’re just like Kyle and the rest of them!”
He doesn’t say anything, not at first. His lips have parted but no words leave his lips.
You don’t even realize that the rest of his friends have already been knocked down by Robby and Sam. And that now all the attention has turned to the both of you.
Eli steps towards you; “Y/N—”
“Get the h*ll away from her!”
It’s Robby who calls out, rushing towards you as he gently pushes you back, towards Sam and Demetri, the latter grabbing you and pulling you to his side. But your eyes instantly snap back over to Robby and Eli, watching as the latter knocks the former into one of the tables, shuffling back to race towards him in attack.
He jumps up, swinging his arm out for a hit, but Robby just shoots his leg out behind him, kicking Eli directly in the head and thus, knocking him to the ground.
Your lips part as you watch Eli roll on the ground, obviously in pain, feeling your hands shaking next to your side. The instinctive part of you wants to reach out for him, help him. But you don’t move.
Of course you don’t move.
“We saved your chicken,” Sam smiles at Demetri, handing him a to-go box.
“Thanks.”
-
After the four of you had gotten back to Sam’s house, you’d tucked yourself away.
You didn’t have the heart to listen to Robby and Sam go on about how proud they were of how they’d been able to fight together. It was amazing what they’d done, no doubt, but you couldn’t be there. And you couldn’t be there for Demetri, even if you should be.
The reality was you couldn’t believe what you’d seen.
Of course you’d known Eli had changed—it’s what started all of this in first place. It’s what had broken your heart. It’s why you’d had that fight that day. But… but to see him actually go after Demetri like that, with the full intent to hurt him… you never thought he’d actually stoop that low.
He’d even let you get hurt.
Sure, it wasn’t him who did it but it’d been his stupid friends. Who cared if he tried to help you up afterwards? What did that even matter? Is that who he hung out with nowadays?
Is that what he did now? Bully people?
Clearly the answer was yes.
You couldn’t stand it. It hurt too much. All of it. You wished Cobra Kai had never opened up, you wished Eli had never joined—where would you be now if he hadn’t?
Would he still be one of your best friends?
Would… would you be together?
You had no to talk to… Sam was too happy about her win, Demetri was dealing with his own stuff, Miguel was in Cobra Kai… and where was your mom? Not home, like she always was.
There was no one.
A soft knock pulls you from your thoughts, startling you as you blink away the tears that had begun to build. The sound of the door opening pulls your attention up and you falter at the sight of Mr. Larusso, embarrassed at how he’d caught you.
Wiping at your cheeks, you turn away. “I’ll be out in a minute, Mr. Larusso.”
“Y/N…” he calls out faintly, “are you okay?”
You feel a sob threaten to break past your lips at his words, swallowing thickly as you shake your head, still turned away. “I’m fine.”
“Did you get hurt? Are you injured—”
“I just got kicked in the stomach. I’m okay.” Managing to gather yourself enough to look at him, you shrug your shoulders. “Sam and Robby were good. I didn’t really have to lift a finger.”
Mr. Larusso shrugs, attempting to smile reassuringly; “I heard you blocked a couple of hits yourself, though, from Demetri.”
You just shrug; “I wasn’t able to do much else.”
Pausing, Mr. Larusso steps forward, letting the door softly shut behind him. He makes his way towards you, pointing at the spot next to you; “may I?” Nodding, you shuffle over and he takes a seat. He pauses a moment, breathing in, before continuing. “Can I ask you why you decided to join Miyagi-Do?”
Turning to him, you hesitate; “I didn’t want to. At first. But then at the Valley festival I saw your performance and… well, I decided to.”
“That was all?”
“I felt guilty,” you explain further, “because of what Cobra Kai did.”
Mr. Larusso’s brows furrow; “guilty? Why?”
Tensing, you swallow thickly. “Well, um… you know how Demetri mentioned that he was being threatened by his best friend?” Mr. Larusso nod. “He’s mine too and he’s apart of Cobra Kai. He’s the one who attacked Robby illegally at the All Valley tournament.”
Mr. Larusso’s eyes widen. “The kid with the Mohawk?”
You nod.
“Was he there today?”
Your body instantly tenses, giving Mr. Larusso the answer he needs. Still, he waits for you to answer, watching as you slowly turn to meet his gaze. “He was the one who instigated it.” You explain, frowning. “I… I just never thought he’d actually try to hurt Demetri. He’s is best friend.”
“Cobra Kai manipulates kids, that’s what it does,” Mr. Larusso sighs. “It looks like that’s what it did to…”
“Eli.”
“Eli.” Mr. Larusso nods. “But it doesn’t mean he’s gone forever.”
“It feels like it,” you whisper, hugging yourself as you sniffle lightly. “It feels like I’ll never get him back and that it’ll never be the way it was. And it just… hurts so much. It hurts so much I can barely stand it.” The words are pouring past your lips before you can stop them, shocked by how much you’re confessing to Mr. Larusso. “I just want him back.”
Shaking his head, Mr. Larusso sets a hand on your shoulder, squeezing softly. “It’ll be okay, Y/N. I promise.”
Feeling the tears slip past your defences, you shake your head, “and if it never gets better?”
“It will.”
And he says the words with such certainty, no doubt in his voice that it’s enough to pull you from your own desperation. Turning to look at him, you blink at the look on Mr. Larusso’s face, the smile on his lips and can’t help but think it’s been so long since you’ve had a parent show you any care or attention, regardless that you barely know him, that the ache in your heart lessens just faintly at the mere thought.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah,” he smiles. “I’m positive.”
And it’s enough to bring the faintest of smiles to your lips, swallowing thickly as you wipe away your tears, nodding.
“Thank you, Mr. Larusso.”
“Of course,” he grins, “and you were amazing today. Standing up for your friend like that.”
Blushing faintly under his compliment, you shrug, letting out a soft laugh as he stands up. You follow him, allowing him to lead out of the room and back with with Robby, Sam and Demetri, feeling a lot better then you had seconds prior.
Then, the next day, the dojo is trashed.
-
“It was you, wasn’t it?”
Pausing at the sound of your voice, Eli turns. He’d just left the dojo for the night, having stayed a bit later then the rest—you’d texted Miguel beforehand, it was the only reason you knew. He thought you wanted to rekindle things with Eli, and honestly, you were willing to let him believe that.
It allowed you this opportunity.
“Y/N, what the h*ll are you doing here?”
“It doesn’t matter,” you scoff, shaking your head. “Tell me you didn’t actually do it.”
He just shakes his head, moving to walk past you. “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Besides, you should go home. It’s late and what would your friends think if they say you here.”
You just huff at his jab, a humourless laugh leaving your lips as you step in front of him, effectively blocking his path. “Don’t try to turn this around. Someone destroyed Miyagi-Do, tore it apart. I… please tell me it wasn’t you.”
Tensing, Eli avoids your gaze. “You don’t know shit.”
“It was you,” you breathe, the truth revealed in the way he couldn’t meet your eyes properly. As his gaze snaps over to you, you shake your head, disbelief clear in your gaze. “You always avoid my eyes when you lie to me. You’ve done it since I first met you…”
Squaring his shoulders and knowing he’d been caught, Eli just brushes you off; “so what if I did? I was finishing the fight.”
“The fight you started!” You cry out, holding your hands out before you in exasperation. “How can you not realize what you’ve done is wrong? You attacked Demetri, trashed someone’s property and stole a veterans medal of honour!”
Eli’s cheeks warm in embarrassment, his eyes widening at your words. “Just… just f*ck off, Y/N. It has nothing to do with you.”
“It has everything to do with me. Demetri’s my best friend too. Miyagi-Do is my dojo. And Mr. Larusso is my Sensei.”
Eli’s lips part, but no words leave his lips.
“I barely even recognize you anymore. What happened to you?”
“I changed for the better. It’s about time you and Demetri changed too.”
Stunned by his words, you falter, your anger suddenly shifting as the hurt resurfaces. “I thought you cared about me,” you whisper, moving to hug yourself as you feel your voice shake, digging your nails into your arms. “I thought you cared about us.”
Never once had you thought Eli would want you to change—to be someone you weren’t. He’d always told you you were perfect the way you were. To know that now he… he didn’t feel that way anymore…
You don’t see it but Eli’s face softens, regret flooding his gaze as he pauses.
Then, with a whisper, he shakes his head; “I do.”
You meet his gaze. “If you did you wouldn’t have done any of this.”
Eli shakes his head again, stepping towards you as you move to walk away. He grabs you by the arm, pulling you close before you can break free and when you meet his eyes, you’re shocked by the desperation in his own. “No, Y/N. I do. I do care about you. A-About us. I still do.”
You watch his face, seeing the look in eyes eyes and feeling the way he holds you, hesitating before speaking. “You don’t regret it though.” You finally say, the words feeling like poison on your tongue as you frown up at him.
Lips parting, Eli’s brows furrow.
“Attacking Demetri, destroying our dojo… you don’t regret it.”
Swallowing thickly, Eli moves to speak before he pauses, as if thinking better. Then, his eyes narrow and gone is that look of desperation. “Of course I don’t.”
Smacking his hands away, you step back.
“I can’t believe you.”
And then you’re turning without another word, refusing to meet his eyes once more even as he calls after you, practically yelling your name.
You just ignore it.
You can’t bear to look at him anymore.

Baby Talk- (Hawk x Shy!Chubby!Reader) (1/2)
Tumblr media
(Unedited) (Shy!Chubby!Reader, Sam and Miguel are married and have a son, Reader is married to Hawk)
The sound of cooing and garggling filled the new Diaz living room. Sam smiled as Reader giggles at the newest addition to their family. Reader couldn't help but run a finger over the baby boy's cheek, his lightly tan skin peeking out from his swaddle. He whimpered before throwing his hands up in an attempt to flail. Gummy mouth opened with a wide yawn that had both women awe at him.
“Sam he so cute! I can't get over how adorable he is.” Reader’s eyes practical sparkled as she looked down at the baby in Sam’s arms. He was only about two months old now. Reader was so excited after Sam invited her to come over and meet the baby for the first time. With a small smile, she gently held the baby out towards the chubby woman.
“Would you like to hold him?”
Reader flushed a little saying “Oh-um are you sure you want me to hold him? What if I make him cry or upset him-” She babbled for a moment. Her eyes went from Sam to the baby. Sam nodded before slowly laying the boy in her arms. Reader quickly started to grin as she held him in her arms, right in the middle tucked in. He didn't make a peep as she started to rock him back and forth. A new feeling started to bubble in her heart the longer she held him. It was a weird feeling, something that could only be described as love and longing. Moments ticked by and the feeling ate away at her heartstrings.
“So have you talked to Hawk?”
“Hum? About what?”
“About having a baby.” Sam laughed lightly.
Reader sputtered as she stopped rocking the almost completely asleep baby. Warmth radiated all over her body at the statement.
“W-what do you mean a baby? Why would I be talking to him about a baby.” the words seemed to spill from her lips. Sam cocked a brow at her reaction. Crossing her arms she mused “Oh come on Reader, you and Hawk were together for a year now you have been married for two. I know that look, you want a baby. I can see it in your eyes, are you guys trying?” it was a very simple question.
Reader was never one to hide things from her friends and especially such a close one, like Sam. Reader looked over at her “No not really, I mean we….we don't always use protection all the time so there is always a possibility. But we aren't actually trying right now. We have talked about kids before and agreed we both want them one day but it's never gone past that I guess.” her voice slowly cut off as she looked back down at the sleeping baby. Eyes full of wonder and longing now.
Sam felt bad, watching the other girl look so lovingly at her son.
“Maybe you should ask him about it. I don't see why he would have a issue with it. I mean it is Hawk after all.” Sam rolled her eyes. Reader gave her a questioning look.
“Oh come on all I hear from Miguel and Demetri is that he loves kids.” she was met with silence and a dumbfounded look. Reader really did have no idea what she was talking about.
“When we were in school Demetri brought it up once. Back when Hawk was having his ego phase in Cobra Kai and me and Demetri where in Miyagi-do. He told me all kinds of stories about how Hawk always talked about wanting kids when he got older. Apparently, Demetri caught him planning out a whole timeline for kids, he even had baby names picked out.” she laughed a little before carrying on “ Even now though Miguel always comes home telling me about how much he talks about the kids at the dojo. How proud he is of them. About how he can't wait to train his own kids.”
Reader blinks in surprise at the new found information. Hawk did talk about his students at the dojo a lot. But she never heard him mention anything about his kids, about training them in karate. She thought about all of the times he mentioned them in passing. Maybe she overlooked some of the subtle hints he was trying to give her.
Her cheeks started to warm up “Do you really think he wants kids now? It's just that he's never come right out and said anything. You know him, he's not afraid to say what he wants…” she said thinking about how hot-headed and vocal her husband was. If he had something in his mind he would say it with little hesitation. It was just one of his many habits. Suddenly Sam’s hand found Reader’s and gave it a kind tap. Trying to give her a little comfort.
She understood that it was a huge decision, an important conversation. Discussing having a baby was a big step in any relationship no matter where they were. It did my matter where you were in life, having a baby was intense.
“Please Reader, just ask him. It won't hurt to just ask if he's ready to start trying.”
Reader chewed at her bottom lip but still smiled at the new idea. Sam was right, there was no real harm in asking. The worst thing that could happen was that he would say no and they could just wait to start trying for a while. However, the idea of him now saying no to the idea did hurt her just a little bit. Maybe she really did want to start trying for a baby. So many thoughts started to run through her mind. Suddenly all of her nerves were on edge.
Sam could almost sense the change in her body language. With little thought she chimed in saying “Because I would love for you guys to give this little guy a new playmate. Hopefully in the next year or two, wink wink.” she giggled which helped pick up the mood. Reader gave a laugh at the idea.
Maybe she could work up the nerve to ask her husband if they could start trying for a baby soon.

I’m happy that these two couples got back together by the end of Season 5. Based on how the season ended, I don’t think that there will be anymore breakups.

what we used to be | XVl
Tumblr media
Pairing: Eli Moskowitz x Fem!Reader
Summary: Moon is throwing a party and the last person you expect to see there is there...
Warnings: dojo rivalry, swearing, underage drinking, bullying, injury
Word Count: 3k
A/N: I've been waiting for this chapter! One of my favorite Hawk moments so it was fun writing! Also a longer chapter! Hope you enjoy!
Thank you to those who already reblog and comment, I see you and I love you all for it!
I don't consent to this work being copied, translated or reposted.
Moon was throwing a party before the school year started.
You walked into the party alongside your friends, but everyone stopped when you realized Cobra Kai was there. Your gaze landed briefly on Eli’s before you forced yourself to look away.
You hadn’t seen him since the day at the restaurant.
It pissed you off that it hurt seeing him. You missed him.
Moving your gaze didn’t make you feel better when they landed on Aisha. You didn’t think breaking up with Eli meant throwing away the rest of Cobra Kai, but then again, you did join Miyagi-Do.
After she abruptly ended the phone call a couple of weeks ago, the tension was there as you stared at your ex-friend.
Thankfully, Moon appeared, cutting it.
“Glad you guys made it,” she grinned. “Kegs are out back, drinks are in the kitchen, and the vegan pigs in a blanket just got out of the oven,” she said.
“You never said anything about inviting Cobra Kai,” Sam said, saying what you were all thinking.
“I figured with summer ending and school starting up, we could all stop fighting and be friends again,” she said hopefully.
“That’s wishful thinking,” Sam brushed off.
“Let’s all clear our chakras and have some fun!” Moon encouraged before she walked off.
You gazed at Demitri, hiking your shoulders up before you walked further into the house, needing to escape Eli.
That’s how you found yourself talking with Moon. You were sitting on the other side of the room and Eli was on the couch. Even though his presence was magnetizing, your conversation with her was distracting enough.
“I swear I was a dewdrop, I was literally sitting on a blade of grass, the sun hitting on me,” she emphasized, gripping your arm.
You were doubled over laughing at her recounting the dream she had. “I’m sorry, I’m just picturing your face on a dew drop like the Sun baby from Teletubbies,” you giggled, causing her to laugh along.
“That’s exactly how it went,” she giggled.
In the process of you laughing, you glanced up, finding Eli talking to a girl.
There he was, oozing with the confidence you fell in love with as he spoke to her. The bubble in your stomach unnerved you and you despised it. You weren’t supposed to be jealous but then again, you weren’t together anymore. It didn’t matter.
“Oh, great! My girlfriend’s here!” Moon beamed. “You’re gonna love her!” She tapped you on the arm before she walked over to the girl Eli was talking to.
A breath of relief escaped you.
For the next hour or so, you spent the entire time chatting it up with Moon and her girlfriend, Piper. The couple was so cute and you enjoyed getting to talk to people outside of karate. Something that had been a while since you last did.
Unbestowent to you, Eli was watching you have the time of your life without him.
You weren’t supposed to have moved on so easily.
He held on to that hope that you were heartbroken, unable to let go of what you had. That’s what his mom told him after she had talked to your mom. What happened since then?
Keeping his gaze on you, he tried distractions. Whether it was a dance circle or talking with Assface, nothing was working. His eyes kept training on you.
You kept laughing, so much. What could be so captivating that you were so invested in conversing with Moon?
Eli hated it.
He watched as Piper showed her ear piercings to you, your eyes tracing over the jewels and you began gesturing to your ear, most likely asking what kind of piercings would look good on you.
He knew that’s what you asked because he knows you.
Then Demitri sat beside him.
“Did you watch the new Doctor Who trailer?” He asked.
“I don’t watch nerd shit,” Eli grumbled, sipping from his cup, brushing his gaze away from his ex-best friend.
“Y’know Moffat isn’t the showrunner anymore,” Demitri continued to talk.
Eli paused. “Wait, really, since when? Is there a new doctor, what’s he like?” He grew interested, not realizing it had been a while since he’d watched his favorite shows.
“She’s badass,” Demitri smirked.
“She?” Eli grinned.
Your giggling drew his attention away and suddenly he was back to being Hawk.
“She’s moved on,” Demitri said, sighing, feeling bad for him but at the same time he was proud of you for doing so. “She’s made it obvious she doesn’t want to be with you anymore.”
“Defeat does not exist,” Eli ignored him.
“There’s that winning attitude that pushed her away in the first place,” he sighed. “Look at her, she’s grown, she’s happy, she found peace, maybe it’s time you found some too,” he patted him on the shoulder.
“Oh yeah?” Eli smirked before he stood up, pouring his drink over Demitri’s head.
The partygoers gasped and you turned just in time to see it happen.
“That’s what I thought, still a pussy,” he threw his empty cup at Demitri before walking off.
You caught his eyes for a moment, sending him a disappointed look before rushing off to check on Demitri.
“Do you want to head out of here?” You asked, helping him pat dry his shirt.
“I’m gonna get cleaned up in the bathroom,” he grumbled before walking off.
You blew out a breath, dumping the towels in the trash. You shook your head, shocked at what Eli did but could you say you were surprised?
“I knew I was right when I said you chose Demitri over me,” Eli appeared at your side. “Now you joined Miyagi-Do?”
“What’s it to you? We’re broken up,” you spat, wiping your hands.
“It means everything, you weren’t supposed to choose that pussy over me,” he furrowed his brows.
“And you weren’t supposed to hurt me,” you sneered. “Guess we did things we weren’t supposed to do,” you swallowed.
“I still stand by what I say, I would never hurt you,” he blocked your path.
“You hurt me every time you hurt Demitri,” you gritted. “What do you want Eli?”
“You,” he answered, point blankly. “Come back where you belong, with me.”
“Stop it,” you shook your head. “I’m better now, okay?” You crossed your arms over your chest.
His jaw clenched. “Being a traitor made you better?”
“I don’t have to explain anything to you,” you gritted, stalking close to him. “You were the one that decided being an asshole was better,” you jabbed a finger in his chest. “You put your ego over our relationship,” you spat.
He was irritated. “And you chose that pussy over us, many times if you don’t recall,” he inhaled.
“Seems like I made the right choice then,” you fumed, feeling proud in the way his eyes flashed with hurt. Serves him right. Keeping your gaze locked on his, you searched desperately for a sign of your Eli, but he was gone. “I don’t even recognize you anymore,” you shook your head, a sting forming in the back of your eyes.
You went upstairs, finding the bathroom but you were curious when you couldn’t find Demitri. Deciding it best to find him after you composed yourself, you found your way back downstairs just in time to see Demitri on stage, a mic in his hand.
“Excuse me,” he said, the mic sounding off some feedback. “I’d like to make a toast,” he sounded boisterous, a contrast from his state a few moments prior. “To Eli Moskowitz,” he raised his cup in the air.
You exhaled in worry as the room questioned who that was.
“Oh, I’m sorry,” Demitri laughed. “Some of you know him as Hawk,” he said, gesturing to your ex. “But underneath that crazy clown cosplay and whatever type of Manic Panic he dumps his hair in, he’s still good old Eli. My Binary Brother,” he stated.
You gulped, glancing at Eli, finding him to be angry.
“Well, he was my binary brother. Wanna know what he is now? A real zero,” he gestured.
The room of people erupted in soft laughter.
“Alright that’s enough Demitri,” Eli gritted.
“Don’t let that angry red hairdo fool you. He’s a big softie,” Demitri mimicked. “We watched every Harry Potter movie together. And he cried like a big baby when Dobby died,” he elaborated, imitating sobbing.
You furrowed your brows, not recalling a memory of when that happened.
“In the words of Eli’s hero, Steve Jobs, “I’ve got one more thing”,” Demitri continued. “Have any of you heard of sleep enuresis?”
“Don’t,” Eli pleaded.
Your heartbeat picked up, confusion filling you as you didn’t understand what your friend was talking about.
“That’s the medical term of course. In the King’s English, it’s good old-fashioned bed-wetting,” Demitri said, the room erupting in laughter. “And Eli here is a pro,” he clicked his tongue, snapping at Eli. “My mom had a special air mattress for sleepovers, she called it “Eli’s waterbed”.”
Your heart dropped and you sent a worried glance at Eli, unaware of anything Demitri said. The room erupted in laughter and you wanted so much to stop it.
“Screw mercy. You’re a corpse!” Eli shoved his cup into Mitch, charging towards Demitri but Chris blocked him.
“You’re gonna have to go through me,” he said.
“Stay out of it,” Mitch defended.
“Hey, don’t touch him,” Robby entered.
“Or what?” Aisha taunted.
“Guys, stop, we’re friends,” Moon stood between them.
The tension could be cut with a knife and you were about to go in and help but police sirens were heard, red and blue flashing through the windows.
“Cops!” Someone shouted.
Chaos ensued and you were quick to run towards Demitri but by the time you got to the stage, he was gone.
“Great,” you slapped your hands against your thighs before you booked it for an escape. You were running out of the house but through the mayhem, someone pushed you and you fell right on the lawn, pain spreading in your ankle. “Shit,” you hissed.
“Y/N?” You heard Eli’s voice and before you could speak, he was already hoisting you up on your feet.
You cried out in pain putting weight on your right foot, almost falling again if it wasn’t for him.
“Woah, what the hell happened?” He asked before wrapping your arm around his neck, his arm wrapping around your waist as he helped you keep the weight off your ankle.
“I was pushed,” you huffed, trying to book it out of there as fast as you could.
“I parked a couple of blocks from here, I’ll drive you home,” he said now that you were a few houses down.
“I can’t go home,” you sucked in a breath. “I left my keys in my jacket in Moon’s room and I can’t tell my dad I left them there because the cops showed up,” you hopped, keeping your bad foot in the air.
“I’ll take the blame,” he said.
“I wish, but my parents aren’t even there,” you stated. “They went on an anniversary getaway in Santa Barbra and won’t be home until the morning.”
“I’ll take you to my place,” he said, making it to the car and opening the door for you, helping you inside.
“Thanks, Eli,” you gulped, keeping your gaze ahead of you.
The drive was silent but not awkward.
“My dad’s working late and my mom is at her book club,” he said, unlocking the front door.
You had your arm wrapped around his neck, limping into his house. You missed coming over, the smell of his home. That ache in your chest returned.
“Just one step at a time,” he encouraged as you hopped on each step, one hand on the railing and the other around him.
You relaxed when you made it to his bed.
“I’ll be back,” he left you in his room, and you looked around, having not been here in a long time.
One thing you noticed was the posters of his favorite movies and video games were no longer up, replaced with different punk posters and bands. You didn’t care for the change, really, if he truly liked those things, it wasn’t a problem.
When you noticed the photos of you and Demitri weren’t hung up anymore, your heart fell but you saw he still had your art hung up.
The card you made for him after he got bit by the rabid dog, the hawk painting you gave him for your anniversary, and the other ones you’ve created over the years.
“Here,” he came back into the room and sat on the bed, handing you a bag of ice. “You need to ice it before you compress it,” he explained.
“Thank you,” you took the bag from him, untying your shoe and carefully taking your sock off. “It’s swollen, right?”
He stared at the tender skin. “The ice should help, but I don’t see any bruising so I’m sure tomorrow you’ll feel better,” he reassured.
You nodded, silence consuming you again.
He was sitting by your foot on the bed, his elbows resting on his knees as he stared forward.
You studied him, outlining the curves of his profile.
The arch of his nose, his long lashes, his lips, those blue eyes.
Gulping, you turned away, your face becoming hot. “You still have my art on your wall,” you pointed out, wanting the silence to end.
He glanced at the wall, face softening. “I need to be reminded that we were good before,” he answered, slightly cold before glancing at you.
You sighed. “We were,” you chewed on your lip, shifting the ice pack on your ankle.
“You still wear the bracelet I gave you,” he pointed, gaze on your wrist.
You froze, glancing down at where he was looking, realizing for the first time that it was true.
“I can’t come up with a good reason as to why,” you moved a piece of hair behind your ear.
“Because your heart knows we belong together,” he said, staring at you.
“Eli,” you shook your head.
“No. We love each other, shouldn’t that be enough?”
“No,” your voice cracked. “I wish it were but we’re so different now, I can’t date a bully after going through the hell that I watched you go through and what I did as well,” you glanced down.
“Kinda hypocritical to say that after what your friend did to me at the party,” his jaw ticked, turning away from you.
“That’s not fair. Should he have done it? No, but you attacked him, Eli,” you said. “Over a review,” you stated.
“Not this bullshit again,” he rolled his eyes, standing up.
“Okay, fine, I won’t talk about it,” you leaned back against his pillows, letting the ice pack rest on your ankle. “I didn’t know he’d do that,” you spoke up. “I didn’t know that happened,” your gaze softened at him.
“Yeah, now what? You think I’m a loser, don’t you?” He gulped.
“No,” you furrowed your brows. “The only thing that makes me think you’re a loser is being a bully,” you frowned, arms crossed over your chest. “And I know that’s not you.”
“This is me,” he defended. “And it sucks that the one person I care about the most can’t see that,” he spat before getting up and walking out of his room.
You called after him, feeling helpless as you were left on the bed, your ankle radiating with pain. You stayed there for what felt like forever but then Eli came back in, carrying a tray in his hands.
“It’s been twenty minutes,” he said, setting the tray on the nightstand.
Your gaze followed the tray and found two plates with a sandwich and some chips, two cups with some drink in it, a bottle of Ibuprofen, a wrap, and some type of topical gel. Your heart melted, from thinking he blew you off to knowing he got all this for you.
“You didn’t have to do this,” you gazed softly at him.
“I care about you, Y/N. And I love you,” he glanced down at you, grabbing the wrap and topical gel. “I can do it if you can’t,” he handed you the gel.
You smiled, thanking him as you took it. Taking the ice off, you wipe the water off before uncapping the gel and applying the anti-inflammatory gel on your skin. Instantly, you could feel the relief. When it came to the wrap, you were having trouble.
“Here,” he took it from you, moving to sit at your feet.
“You don’t have to,” you declined but he placed your foot in his lap.
“Let me help you,” he brushed you off.
You sighed as you watched him wrap your ankle.
His touch was gentle and his movements soft.
You couldn’t help the way your heart soared, seeing a side of Eli you missed so much.
“Not too tight?” He asked and you shook your head. “You should eat before you take the pain medication,” he said, pulling you out of your thoughts.
You agreed, asking for help to the bathroom to wash your hands before you settled back on the bed. You watched a show while eating, something comforting in the domesticity before you grew tired.
“You don’t have to take the medication if you don’t want it,” he said, sitting next to you on the bed.
You were resting against the headboard, your faces inches apart. “It hurts, so I do,” you passed him a grin. “Thank you, Eli,” you said, taking the medication.
“You’re welcome,” he took the bottle and glass from you. “I’m gonna sleep on the couch, but call if you need anything,” he looked at you.
You nodded, chewing on your lip.
“Eli?” You asked.
“Yeah?” He stopped from getting up, staring at you expectedly.
“I love you too,” you admitted. “Before, you said you love me and well, I wanted you-”
You couldn’t finish your sentence as his lips landed on yours. Your eyes flew closed and you sighed into the kiss, finding home again.
His hand gently reached up to cup your face and for once, things felt like normal.
But the feeling was brief and you fell back to Earth.
“I can’t, Eli,” you licked your lips, pulling away.
He shook his head, hand still on you. “I never wanted to break up.”
“Neither did I,” you rested your forehead against him before you bid each other goodnight.

One idea I have for next season is that Anthony and Kenny hash things out and start a social media campaign to help Robby:
#justiceforRobby
In their campaign, they resurface and spread the clips from the school fight that highlight all of Miguel's wrongs against Robby as well as the fact that Robby was protecting Sam and the Cobras kept attacking them or stopping them from escaping. Miguel did no different. They can include how Miguel had attacked Robby at the canyon party and accidentally hit Sam. They can also include Miguel pulling on Robby's injured arm to win. (These two are incidents Anthony knows about.) They'd need to put a lot of emphasis that what happened at the end had been an accident. They can be the ones to help tell Robby's side of the story.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
If Miguel flipped a switch and attacked Robby at the beginning and again in the middle of the school fight, and then later flipped an opposite switch to stop attacking Robby and attempting to break his arm for no reason at all, how could Robby know if Miguel wasn't going to flip yet another switch and attack him again? Miguel has always been unpredictable when it comes to attacking Robby. Miguel still is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They can also spread how Robby helped and mentored them, never bullies anyone, and encouraged that they hash things out. Kenny can also talk about how Robby has always encouraged him to try a better way and that Robby even came to the Cobra Kai dojo to encourage all the students to leave Cobra Kai.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robby will probably never get justice, but hopefully Miguel's reputation takes a hit. Miguel has shown no humility, taken no accountability, and still feels entitled to attack Robby whenever he wants.
Another idea is that they help Robby become a YouTuber. With his karate and skateboarding skills, he could rise to fame doing awesome stunts using both sets of skills. After all, he taught himself the two-legged kick using his skateboarding skills.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robby is super smart and talented. I don't like that he won't get to earn his high school diploma through school and walk across the graduation stage like the other kids will. Even Tory's going to be able to do that.
The adults in Robby's life don't seem to care about helping and encouraging him for his future. His karate mentees might as well be the ones to help him. Maybe the message can be that at any age you can have a real positive impact on someone's life.

Any chance you could do a robby and sister reader (maybe being his twin sister?) who has a huge crush on Eli/Hawk but is soft spoken and shy and thinks he wouldn't like her back so Robby gives her some advice begrudgingly?
yes absolutely
*season five spoilers below the cut*
you and robby were twins, sure, but the two of you couldn't be more different. robby was willing to cause trouble, get into fights, and stand up for his beliefs publicly. you on the other hand, were quieter and pretty shy, rarely talking to new people. so when robby convinced you to come to the miyagi-do, eagle fang karate dojo, he was shocked when you agreed.
"so how come you decided to come today?" robby asked as the two of you got ready to leave for practice. you shrugged, avoiding eye contact with him. robby's arms crossed at your quiet demeanor; you always talked to him. "something going on?" he asked, eyebrows raised.
"i um...well...let's say hypothetically you like this person, and your not sure if they like you back, but you know that he's...they...are really into karate. would you go try it?" you asked softly. "this is sounding less like a hypothetical and more like a reality so which one is it? hawk or miguel?" he replied, staring you down.
your disgusted face when you said miguel gave it away. "ah. well i would say not to pressure yourself and only come to karate if you want to. i think hawk will like you either way," robby answered and you nodded, smiling at him. "okay. maybe i'll just come and watch," you said, piling into your dad's minivan.
"since when does y/n like karate?" miguel asked as he stretched out with robby and hawk. robby rolled his eyes at miguel's question. "since she started crushing on hawk," robby grumbled, shooting a pointed glare at said boy. "wait seriously?" hawk asked, an excited smile overtaking his face. "dead-fucking-ass," robby replied before hawk and miguel started brainstroming ideas on how he could ask you out.

CK Terry Silver X Reader
Context: First you were enemies....but now he was about to be your lover...😏 Part 1??
You were so confused when you got a call from your cousin Johnny, especially when he asked you to come down and visit him in LA, you hadn't spoken to him in a long time. But when you guys did see eachother after a long time, it was like being around a brother, he was a funny and very simple guy, and he did make you laugh. He didn't say why he wanted you to come and visit him, just that it was an emergency. You booked some time from your work and made your way down to LA to see Johnny, you were booked up in a really nice hotel during your stay so you felt nice and comfortable, for some reason you could never sleep properly in someone elses house. After you got your things unpacked, you left the hotel and made your way to a coffee shop that Johnny told you about, it wasn't that far thankfully. You entered the coffee shop and see Johnny sat next to someone who looked a little familiar, but you couldn't quite put your finger on it. "Y/N!" Johnny shouted as be ran over to you, pulling you in for an enthusiastic hug. "Hey Johnny! It's great to see you too" "I'm so glad you came, we really need your help" "We?" He smiled and lead you over to the table, and that's when you recognise who is sat there. "Oh my god, Daniel Larusso!" "Hey Y/N, it's good to see you" He smiled and stood up to give you a hug too before you all took a seat at this little coffee table by the window. "Wow Daniel, it's been so long since I last saw you. What on earth is the reason your hanging out with this loser?" "Screw you Y/N, I ain't no loser!" "Maybe when you can win a karate fight against me, then I can call you something else. It's not my fault you can't take me" "Yeh yeh your so funny Y/N" You and Johnny shared a look and laughed, you guys were always playful together. "So Daniel, why are you hanging out with Johnny? The last time I saw you both together you were in that tournament" "Me and Johnny have had our differences and issues yes, but we've put that behind us and we are working together to keep miyagi do a float" "Oh I remember miyagi do, it was always a lovely environment there. So you've both taken it over?" "Yes, its had its ups and downs, but were trying" "That's great to hear. So? Why did you ask me to come down hear Johnny? What's going on that you need help with?" Johnny and Daniel share a concerned look, and Johnny looks back at you with a serious expression.
"Y/N, do you remember a guy called sensei John Kreese?" "Do I? He was an #sshole who acted like a psycho. Is he still around?" "Hey was...but it seems that he wasn't the one we had to worry about" "What do you mean?" "You see, Kreese brought back cobra kai when Daniel opened Miyagi do, and lots of sh#t happened that we don't really have time to explain. Let's just say, sh#t hit the fan! Anyway, Kreese needed help after his first attempt at reopening cobra kai didn't work, and that's where HE came into the picture" "I'm sorry, HE?" "Daniel sat up a little to face you. "Johnny is talking about a guy called Terry Silver, this guy made Kreese look like a picture of serenity, and Kreese is a god damn psychopath! He trained me years ago, and he tried to turn me into something I wasn't, he even trained me to a point where he made my knuckles bleed" "Oh my god that sounds awful! So this Terry guy came back and made everything worse for you guys?" Johnny nods "He did, he's planning on making cobra kai dojo's all over the valley, and we entered a tournament recently and we lost the chance to run miyagi do. His main dojo isnt far from hear, and he is running the place with a new sensei, and she is dangerous" "But I still don't know why you asked me down hear" "I invited you down hear to see if you could help us in our fight against Terry Silver. I've been in a fight with him myself, and f#ck me that old b#stard can kick! He's the strongest around and noone can take him down. That's why I invited you back Y/N....your the only one who can take him down" "What? Why do you think that?" "Y/N, you've trained your entire life to be the sensei you are today, and strangely, both you and Silver have trained and mastered the same karate style and had the same master. But you have way more experience that he does, he has only mastered that fighting skill, and he's dangerous. But YOU! You've mastered that style, plus you've mastered tae kwan do, capoeira, krav maga, kang soo do AND bojutsu! You even know weaponry! That's f#cking awesome! And Terry would shiver at the thought of you" "Daniel? What are your thoughts on this?" "We had discussed having a plan B for incase something was to go wrong and we needed help, even after we asked Chozen for help, he managed to figure out that we were trying to play him. But now, we have to think about the safety of our families, and that's where you as our plan B comes in. Your the only one strong enough and clever enough to face him, and you have the intellect to put him in his place if he tries to manipulate us"
"Daniel's right, I've never known anyone who can stop you physically or intellectually Y/N. I mean you can be a right pain in the ass! But your still our best hope at helping us. So the question is, will you help us?" "Before I give you an answer, I need more details about this Terry guy" "What do you want to know?" "Well firstly, Daniel you said that he taught you when you were younger, so he must be much older than us?" Johnny smirks and says "That ancient piece of sh#t has got to be in his late fifties maybe early sixties" "So quite a bit older then" "Don't let that fool you Y/N, he managed to kick my ass once when me, him and Kreese saw eachother in the old dojo. He may be old, but f#ck me he can kick!" "So he's very strong then? I like a challenge. So what exactly would I be doing?" Daniel takes a sip of his coffee then says "Its mostly for protection Y/N, he has threatened to hurt my family and has already tried with Johnny's. There is this charity event for some bonsai tree's tomorow, and unfortunately I've been told it's being held at Terry's home. All I would need you to do is come with me and Amanda, and if Terry tries any manipulation tactics, I would just ask for your support, to show him that he can't do anything when your around. Make him feel scared for once" "I can absolutely do that for you Daniel, from the way you've described him, I already know how he might behave. He's showing the rest of the world how (nice) he is while you guys see the real him, I know how to go about men like that. What time do you need me ready tomorow?" "Oh thank you so much Y/N, it's at 1.30. You can catch a lift with me and Amanda if you like?" "That's a kind offer Daniel, but I'm going to make my own way up there, I have an idea how I can play this, I'll just need the address"
The next day, you take a taxi up to the address you were given, prepared for anything that might happen there. You wore this beautiful mixed coloured dress that really accentuated your body shape, but little did everyone else know, this dress was hiding something amongst itself that only you knew about...something that would warn this Terry Silver, not to mess with you.
Tumblr media
You are lead through this very neat and tidy modern house, full of greys and silvers for decorations. Whoever this Terry was, certainly liked his style in a certain way. You followed many people who walked through the house to all meet by this enormous outside pool, were there were chairs already set up and little areas to get yourself a drink or a snack. "Y/N, your finally hear" Daniel said as he came and greeted you. "Hi Daniel, am I late?" "No not at all, I was just worried you had changed your mind about this while thing that's all" "No need to worry about that Daniel, I'm still more than happy to help you and your family" A lady had called out to everyone to take their seats, as everyone does, you sit beside Amanda, Daniel's wife as Daniel stands up at the front to talk to everyone. They start the bidding, and many people make lovely offers, you were planning on making an offer too, but you were just waiting for the right moment. The highest it had got to was $5000, and just before the lady accepted, a voice from a few seats behind you said "$30.000 dollars" Everyone was shocked at that price, and when you turned around to see who it was, you see this very handsome and quite sophisticated looking older gentleman. He wore a beautifully tailored suit, he had his silver hair in a neat and tidy pony tail, a smug look on his face, and the money to go with it? This had to be Terry Silver, and little did he know, you still hadn't placed a bit yet...
Tumblr media
"$30.000 from Mr-" "$45.000 dollars" You proudly say as you raise your card, everyone gasps in amazement, and it appears that you had cought Terry's attention too. "Sold! To the young lady in the 3rd row!" They clap for you as you stand up to speak at the front with Daniel, one of the ones clapping is Terry, with an amused smirk on his face, you definitely intrigued him. Daniel shakes your hand "Thank you very much miss L/N for your generous donation for all these bonsai trees" "Oh it's my pleasure Mr Larusso, I adore bonsai trees and I'm excited to be caring for these ones just like I have with many others I've had over the years" Everyone claps again before the auction stops and you, Daniel and the lady running it go somewhere private to take care of the money. About half an hour later, you and Daniel are back and meet up with Amanda who is enjoying a drink, you and Daniel have one too. A lady calls Amanda over to her so she politely leaves you both to say hello, so now it's just you and Daniel. "I can't believe you spent that much on those bonsai trees, plus, you went 15 grand over Terry's bid! I wasn't expecting that" "So that WAS Terry? I thought as much. Plus what I said about the bonsai trees was true, I've had many over the years. Charity will always have a helping hand from me" Daniel's face suddenly changed from happy to concern, and you were about to find out why.
"Good afternoon Daniel, it's a pleasure as always to see you again" "Terry...." "How are you enjoying my home?" "It's a house, I'm not that impressed" "That's what you say....oh how rude of me, I still haven't introduced myself to this lovely young lady hear" Terry says with a charming smile, holding his hand out to you. You smile back and give him your hand, to which he gives you a kiss on the back of it. "My name is Terry Silver"
Tumblr media
"It's nice to meet you, my name is Y/N L/N" "What a beautiful name, and I must say, I'm very glad you came to this auction today" Daniel looks wound up by this, he knows Terry is trying to manipulate you, but your one step ahead. "Oh really? And why would that be Mr Silver?" "Well, not only have I never met a woman more radiant as you, but you did something today that noone else has done....you've suprised me" "Have I indeed?" Terry chuckles, smirking at Daniel too. "You certainly have....would you care for me to show you around my home? I'm sure you would enjoy it" "Do you show all the ladies hear around your home Mr Silver?" "Oh no, just you Miss L/N....So?" "While that's a kind offer, I'm actualy in the middle of a conversation with Mr Larusso hear" "Ah yes, Daniel....I'm not sure your aware of this miss L/N, but Mr Larusso hear probably isn't someone you would like to associate with"
"Oh really?" You ask, acting in the way he'd expect you too. "Is there something about you I don't know Mr Larusso?" Daniel knows your acting, but he plays along with you. "I-" "Oh don't feel embarrassed to tell this lovely woman Daniel....you shouldn't feel too ashamed of your past. You see miss L/N, Daniel hear used to run a dojo, just like the one I run right now. But...I'm afraid Mr larusso's ego got the better of him, and he challenged me and the wonderful children in my dojo to a tournament. The poor children of miyagi do were pushed to the limit of what they could do, and they suffered for it. It's a shame Daniel wasn't the sensei they needed" Daniel's blood was boiling now, he wanted to hit Terry so much.
Tumblr media
"So you see Miss L/N, I have this wonderful home and a dojo for the children who deserve a real sensei. To guide them and show them how to become the best of the best. I think you should choose your company more carefully...you don't want to befriend the wrong sort around hear" "Terry I swear-" "Oh ho ho! Sorry Daniel, did that strike a nerve? I apologises for bringing up your mistakes, I'm sure Miss L/N understands that not everyone is cut out to be a sensei" This was enough now, no more playing the unknowing lady, Terry was pushing his luck.
"I do believe your right Mr Silver, from what you have said about Daniel hear I do believe I need to be a better judge of character" Terry smiles and looks at Daniel with this manipulative little stare. "I suppose I should really spend more time with a man like you Mr Silver" "I couldn't agree more" "Yes....a man who thinks that he can con the world with his smooth words and intelligence" Daniel smiles, and Terry's face slowly drops from a happy smirk, to one of confusion. "I beg your pardon Miss L/N?" "Oh I am sorry, was I not being clear enough. Please allow me to make it clearer for you. Your a con man Mr Silver, a man who will go to any lengths to make sure his true persona is hidden from the rest of the world, because instead of people being impressed by the man you pretend to be, the real you would just bore the undying hell out of people. They would pity you, feel sorry for you, and not see the manipulative character you play when others are around you" Again Daniel smiles, he is loving every moment of this. "So your right, I should make sure I know who to not be around and accociate my time with, and you are the one that's definitely at the top of that list. I will not associate with a man who drives a poor young boy to the point of pain, shame and actualy bodily harm, just to help an old friend from the army days. Making a child's knuckles bleed is abusive and manipulative, every time you think of that I truly hope shame is etched in your mind. You lie and scheme your way though everything just so your can have things your way, so you can be in control. To the point where you threated and attack innocent people like Daniel hear, or Robbie Keen, or Johnny Lawrence! How does it feel knowing there is someone out there who sees through your lies? Through this facade?"
You ask with a smirk.....Terry is stunned at first, but it seems now he knows your not just some innocent person who's wondered into the wrong conversation. "Well well Miss L/N, I'm guessing there's more to you than meets the eye? Your not hear today by coincidence are you?"
Tumblr media
"Oh! So you can use your brain then?" You ask in a sarcastic way, making Daniel snort a little. Terry chuckles and runs his hand over his chin, looking around to make sure noone is close or looking over. "I should have known you were hear helping Daniel, he's never been able to truly defend himself" "Defending himself is one thing....when he has to protect his family that's another thing entirely.....you really think it's wise to threaten Daniel's family?" "I can do what I wish, I'm looking out for the future of my dojo" "Never have I ever heard more b#llsh#t than I have from what your spewing out of that poisonous mouth of yours" That took Terry by suprise, he's not used to being spoken to like this at all. "I do like you miss L/N....so why don't you do yourself a favour and stay out of this little disagreement me and Danny boy hear have together" "Aww, that's not going to happen I'm afraid, nice try though, very threatening. I was almost scared then, oh wait? Your threats mean nothing to me" Terry smiles and takes a step closer to you and Daniel, staring at you with those pale blue sapphire eyes. "You have no idea what a sensei like me can do, sensei's have many capabilities"
"Do they? Oh dear, maybe I should be more careful around someone who can fight.....hahaha! I'm sorry I couldn't keep a straight face there" Terry has no idea why your laughing, so Daniel says "Terry, YOU have no idea what sensei's are capable of....sensei's like Y/N" Terry's face changes "Your a sensei?" "You seem suprised by that Mr Silver? I know this dress doesn't exactly look like a GI-" "What are you trained in then? A little tae kwando?" You smirk and fold your arms at him, and Daniel says "She HAS mastered tae kwando Terry" "I knew it-" "Ah ah ah, not just that though. I'm guessing your old master didn't mention any other students he's taught then? Oh yeh, my mistake, he taught Y/N AFTER you" "You?.....Your master was-" "Master Kim Sung-Yung?" You say in response. "Yes that's right, he was my master. Oh! Correction, my first master. You see, once I had been fully trained by Master Kim Sung-Yung, I moved onto other forms of martial arts, like Bojutsu for example, oh that's my favourite by far" Terry starts to look a little nervous now, though he's trying to hide it. "What else was there? Oh yes, I've also mastered capoeira, krav maga. My skills in Kand Su Do are just one of the many skills I have......so if I were you....Terry....I'd be very careful, and choose YOUR company more carefully"
Check. Terry hasn't won this round, but he was going to try one last tactic. "Your a very strong and clever woman Y/N, I can't deny that. But you can't win against me, I've made a reputation hear, all these people hear are stupid enough to believe me. And why wouldn't they? I'm the man who gives to the community, offers lessons to children who need it, a shining example to the community. All these idiots hear would never believe you if you tried to say anything about me, neither of you have any proof, and I'll continue to do as I wish....noone is going to stop me" You can't help but chuckle, Daniel looks worried, but you give him a trustworthy look. "I see Terry....it seems there's really no tricking you is there?" "That's right" "And noone would believe me if I told everyone hear what you really think of them, and how cunning you are" "Absolutely" "You've got me there....(clearing your throat) Oh, I just have one question Terry, do you like my dress?" He smirks and looks you all over, like your a masterpiece. "It looks stunning on you, like it was made to be worn by a goddesses" "Oh my, your so kind" Daniel has no idea what your up to, but you give him a sly wink. "I'm so glad you like it Terry, I like it too. The colours, the material....oh! And this little part right hear....can you see this?" You say pointing to a very well hidden little shiny bead right inbetween your cleavage on the dress. "This Terry, is my little camera. I hope you don't mind that I'm wearing it, it complimented the dress you see" Terry's face drops, he's been caught out. "After my discussion with Daniel the other day, and my cousin. I thought it was necessary to bring this little camera along with me, and you walked into my trap beautifully"
Daniel cant help but smile smugly, finaly having the upper hand over Terry Silver. "Why don't you consider this a warning Mr Silver....you don't go near Daniel and his family, you stay away from my cousin and his family, oh did I mention Johnny Lawrence was my cousin? And I don't take to kindly to people assaulting my family members. So? Are you going to be a good boy and do as your told? Because if you misbehave, I might just have to release this little video of you admitting what you are really like. What you think of all these people, what you do to make everything go your way, and of course your threatening behaviour towards innocent people" Terry stares at you in stunned silence, unable to think of anything to say to you, you have him in the palm of your hand and he didn't like it. "Daniel, shall we have another drink? I can see champagne over there" "That sounds great" Daniel says to you, you smile as you both walk away from Terry, but you rest your hand on Terry's arm just before walking away, and whisper to him. "You've been used to being top dog around hear Mr Silver, well now there's someone who will happily knock you down if needs to be. I'm an understanding woman Terry, and consider this whole situation, me being kind. Because if you do anything to hurt anyone else.....I might just take after your slogan.....and I will show YOU no mercy. Do have a good day, you have got a lovely home" And just like that, you walk away towards Daniel and Amanda to have a drink, leaving Terry by himself. He's fuming and hates that he wasn't able to manipulate you or wind up Daniel, you were a whole other challenge.....a challenge he was happy to except. He turned around to look over at you and Daniel, anger was there, but it was replaced with something else....a smile? But why?....
Tumblr media
After everyone had left the charity event at Terry's house, you made your way back to Daniel and Amanda's home along with Johnny. Daniel was over the moon with how you handled Terry. "How in the hell did you manage to get a camera that small onto your dress Y/N?" "I have many talents Daniel, and if Terry pushes his luck, he'll find that out the hard way" Johnny smirks and runs his hand across his jaw line. "Am I the only one hear who wants to see that ancient piece of sh#t push his luck?" All three of you chuckle, before Daniel looks at you with sincere appreciation. "You know Y/N, I'm so thankful you agreed to help us with Terry, I think he's met his match with you. If today was anything to go buy, I'm really hoping he will stay away" "I hope so too, and if he doesn't....trust me when I say that I will bring Terry Silver to his knees...."
..............................................................................................
To anyone reading this story, I wanted to post it and let you decide if you want more. There is more to the story which I'm happy to write, I just wanted to post this part and find out if anyone would like to read anymore of this story, and of course I would write a steamy part too as it's an enemies to lovers idea. Just let me know and I'll see what I can do, thank you 💚
