The BL novels with such excellent plot, that you are sad it has BL in it, otherwise you would force just everyone to read it.

#1.  The Earth is Online

Great Sci-fi novel with ‘alien intervention’ theme. Usually such plots has big problems with endings, but The Earth is Online managed to get a nice wrap for this very difficult theme. High-passed and absolutely interesting. What to expect: super smart MC, super sick brainteasers, unlimited flow, manly couple, twisted fairytales, uncommon special abilities. 

Warning: this novel has very weak romance line (you could probably just made it a friendship and almost nothing would be lost), but this is a great book nevertheless.

#2. Supernatural Movie Actor App

Best horror BL-novel I read. Every movie plot is stunning and quite uncommon and ingenious. Movies never has only one main theme - author interweave several into complex, deep, interesting narration with unexpected reveals and explanations. The overall plot is great too - it is type of the book where everything mentioned have a reason and place in a plot. Absolutely superior read. What to expect: super smart MC (explained in the plot), great horror stories, quite a bit of gore, unlimited flow, love between two personas in multiple personality disorder (explained beautifully in the plot), mysteries solving, manly couple.

Warning: the BL part is rather small, but really warm and nice to read.

#3.  Mist

The plot is insane - it is very smart, atmospheric and has great ending. Also it has a really strong balance of the plot and romance. There is CONSENT! And respect! FINALLY! Seriously, when ML asks MC even before hugging and they actually have conversations - even without supreme plot I would already loved this novel to the moon and back. It really hard to say anything about this novel without spoilers - it is mind-blowing. Period. What to expect: time agents, time loops, time paradox, complex plot, a bit (?) of gore, smart MC, great couple, a bit of ‘from enemies to lovers’ mood.

Warning: expect to burn a lot of your braincells to understand the time loops.

Essential Elements of an Unlimited/Infinite Flow Story

As someone attempting to write my own Unli Flow, I thought I’d take note of the different elements so I can have a guide I can always refer back to.

I’ve explained what Unli Flow means many times before, but in case you missed it: Unlimited/Infinite Flow is a genre in Chinese web novels that feature characters entering multiple “instances” where they have to complete a challenge and/or solve a mystery. Failure in doing so would lead to consequences, most often death.

There’s also this definition by AshuraYami from the NovelUpdates Forum:

Unlimited Flow/Infinite Flow is a genre originating from the CN novel Terror Infinity. The genre mainly revolves on world hopping involving fictional works (anime, comics, movies, games and novels) and/or original worlds created by the author. Infinite Flow, as it’s ‘infinite’ namesake suggests, can accommodate all other genres, be it fantasy, sci-fi, horror, romance, etc. Representative works are Terror Infinity (origin of genre), Reincarnation Paradise (most chapters and word count), The Ultimate Evolution (promoter of data flow, an infinite flow derivative that is more game-like litRPG) and Thriller Paradise (most famous horror infinite flow).

With the definition out of the way, let’s goooo

[This post will also serve as a rec list of sorts, since I’ll be giving examples of each element from different danmei novels.]

1. The Authority

The entity/system in charge of the Unlimited Flow system as a whole. Most stories just chalk it up to the Unli Flow being some kind of otherworldly being/extremely advanced AI that just likes to mess with people.

From having read numerous Unli Flow stories, I conclude that crucial to a great, not just good, Unli Flow story is a well-defined Authority. The explanation behind the Authority’s existence and motives is the foundation to the entire story.

You can have a very fancy building (cool instances, well-developed characters, an exciting enemies to lovers couple, etc.), but if the foundation is flimsy, the building’s value would plummet in your eyes. You can still appreciate the building, of course, but you will never be content with it.

Examples of some novels that are good in almost everything else except The Authority (in my opinion): [spoilery]

Supernatural Movie Actor App: It was too profound with not enough groundwork laid for it, resulting in The Authority feeling detached from the main story.

I Upended Yet Another Campus Urban Legend: The Authority was not exactly bad; it was just inadequate. The justification of the Unli Flow existing became unconvincing because of this.

Escape the Infinite Chamber: THE AUTHORITY IS SO FUCKING RIDICULOUS THAT IT’S ABYSMAL. And the entire thing was explained in just one scene and from one extra??? SO MUCH PAIN AND SUFFERING AND THAT’S THE ONLY EXPLANATION WE GET??? HORRENDOUS!

2. Instances

Also known as “copy.” The other world/dimension where players have to face the different challenges.

The Authority may be the foundation, but the Instances are the defining aspect of the Unlimited Flow.

A lot of novels, however, are quite perfunctory when it comes to instances, just using it to further the main couple or as a mere stepping stone to the overarching plot. Or, if they’re not being perfunctory, then the Instances are just plain boring.

The first instance, especially, tend to be the most boring. Authors often use this to dump all the information about how their unli flow works. This often gets better by the time the 2nd or 3rd instance comes around....

Upon successful completion of an Instance, players will then be rewarded with either points, special abilities, magic items, etc.

Examples of novels with GREAT instances (based on logic, thrill, horror, etc. Again, all in my own opinion):

I Became a God in a Horror Game: The horror is present all throughout. I can still remember the fear I felt while reading about the statues in the first Instance. Each instance/arc also emotionally impacts you, an effect that most Unli Flow writers don’t really aim for or just generally tend to fail at. (This is also my favorite unli flow novel at the moment~)

The Earth is Online: (same author as Fourth Perspective, which I’ve posted a lot about before) What I love about Mo Chen Huan, the author, is how they write intelligent MC’s but without making them seem too OP. And this is because she actually shows us the MC’s thought process, inviting us to think along with them and figure out how to solve the challenge, and not just make her characters say “aha!”. This is what makes the Instances in TEIO great and memorable.

High Energy QR Code: The story could make use of more showing than telling, but I actually love the Instances in this novel. You know how good stories are often described as a well-made tapestry in that every little thread contributes to the big beautiful picture? That’s how each Instance reads in this novel. (Absolutely love the Instance about the town where everybody lies.)

3. NPCs

A gaming term which stands for “Non-Player Character.” Refers to characters who live within Instances and act in such ways that further the plot or challenge presented by the Instance. They may go against players or assist them. May or may not have a will of their own.

Lu Chu, the protagonist of Insider.

4. Player Hall

A space outside of instances where different players can gather and exchange information. Most of the time, this is in a space still separate from the real world. Players are often prohibited from using their powers in this space.

In some novels, Players have no choice but to live here, completely cutting them off from the real world. In this case, accommodation quality will depend on the Player’s level or points.

5. Personal System

The Personal System issues challenges to the player and keeps track of their current attributes, physical and mental state, etc.. It also calculates rewards and punishments for the player. First and foremost in service to The Authority (if they aren’t, then they’re most likely the Love Interest in disguise. And if not, the Player had somehow swayed it to their side).

6. System Store

The points earned from the different Instances serve as the Players’ currency, and they can use it to buy things from the System Store. The Store may sell weapons, medicine, magical items, or even special abilities. Basically, any item that can help the Player during Instances. Of course, it may also sell non-magical items, like food and everyday items, at a much lower price than special items

7. Player’s Goal/Wish

In some novels, the Goal is simply to clear all the Instances and leave the Unli Flow for good. But in others, the Unli Flow allow Players to exchange their points for a Wish. The more difficult the Wish, the more points are needed, and the more Instances are needed to be cleared.

Death Spiral: To uhh… figure out what the voice in the Elevator is trying to tell them? To regain their memories? [The actual Wish is a big spoiler, so I won’t mention it here.]

silly theory time!

OKAY SO :) the phantom ruby is technology of the ancients, bear with me!!

Basically my idea is formed cus know the ancients were really knowledged on how to utilize the chaos emeralds, right? most of their technology is dependant on the chaos emeralds or otherwise relies on them to function; staying in a sort of "stand by" mode when the emeralds had been removed from the starfall islands for eons.

we also know that despite knowing about the chaos emeralds, as they seemed to come from their planet, the ancients didn't seem to be able to use the true potential of the emeralds, relying in using them to fuel their machines. not much different from eggman and how he uses, or how G.U.N. and he use chaos drives.

So what if the ancients, for one reason or another discovered what the chaos emeralds were truly capable to, perhaps thanks to a vision, since we know chaos emeralds and the master emerald may be able to give clairvoyance to people (See the murals in angel island depicting the fight at the end of Sonic 3, or the scene in Origins where Sonic sees a vision of west side island.), so what if they tried to... find a way to use these powers.

perhaps they were unable to unlock the chaos powers of the emeralds, that miracle they are able to grant, because their bodies were simply incompatable, we know there are species out there made for chaos energy, like the black arms, and others that mmmmaaayyyy be incompatable entirely like the wisps.

but the ancients were a super high-tech species, able to take much more power from a single emerald thant what eggman had been able to take from the master emerald before (given base form sonic had been able to take one of his robots fueled by the M.E. before, without going super), so it's not far fetched to think they would be able to, like tails, and eggman, create replicas of the chaos emeralds.

this is where the phantom ruby comes at play.

the phantom ruby shares several traits with the chaos emeralds, specially one major trait which is to modify reality itself. as well as how the M.E. (in the paramountverse) is described to be able to turn thoughts into power (and i believe this is true for the unlimited potential of the super form in any canon).

The phantom ruby literally transfroms thoughts into power, casting the thoughts of its wielder into reality, the ruby is also capable of space-time transportation as seen in the ruby mist of ruby mania, and the vortex that takes sonic into egg reverie zone and then into the modern world. (it's also worth mentioning that although they both entered at around the same time, classic sonic arrived in the modern world roughly almost a year after the ruby did.)

not unlike the emeralds the ruby can also create visions to whoever touches it, although that while the emeralds reveal to sonic (in the origins cutscene) the location? or just a visage of west side island, things of a person's futue; the phantom ruby shows it's host what they most desire, possibly as a "promise" of what they could do wielding the ruby.

and, just like the emeralds, the phantom ruby clearly has a certain sentience of it's own.

and although extremely chaotic and volatile, the phantom ruby seems to be able to interact with chaos energy. it's volatile energy causes angel island to fall (this is probably because just the master emerald's presence allows it to flow, sort of like if the M.E. only needed the slight energy radiation it has to elevate the whole island, and si not actively keeping it afloat with too much power)

and it also reacts to the chaos emeralds spinning around it, we know the chaos emeralds spin in circles seemingly to communicate or share chaos energy, they do it when they will disperse across the world, before turning someone super, etc.

However as seen in the sonic mania ending: the phantom ruby reacts volatily and negatively to this, losing what it seems to be most of it's power (The overclocked ruby in forces turns magenta and has white energy stripes... like the normal sprite of the ruby in mania, so it's sort of safe to say the it lost energy between Mania and Forces), and shaking/twitching when in pressence of the emeralds.

my point being: the phantom ruby shares too much similarities with the chaos emeralds, but seems to leave these world-shattering powers more accessible to any host of it, while the emeralds cannot be wielded by anyone.

oh and let's also not forget the similarities between the cyber spaces of the ancients and the special zones of the emeralds... AND HOW THE PHANTOM RUBY IS ABLE TO ALSO CREATE IT'S OWN REALMS! LIKE EGG REVERIE ZONE (which already looks a lot like a special stage of sorts, just unfinished), and NULLSPACE (wich... strange dimension where you can only get out from running and has an aesthetic of having floating energy and cubes thingies floating? LIKE THE CYBER SPACES?!)

oh also; let's also-also not forget how similar the phantom ruby glitches are to the cyber corruption!

MY THEORY HERE: being that the ancients created the phantom ruby, or at least were working on the phantom ruby before The End found them again, not letting them exactly finish their creaton.

I think that the ancients were developing a way to use the power of chaos against The End, but it found them before they could ever finish it, that's why the ruby it's extremely volatile and reacts aggresively against the chaos emeralds.

once the ancients were gone the ruby simply could've went missing, we know the emeralds and M.E. left the starfall islands, and stayed (or at least the M.E. did) in the safe haven the ancients had built in what one day would become angel island

while the emeralds were used by different civilizations across the world, like the south island and est side island civilizations.

so that even can explain the fact the phantom ruby had been "missing" for a long time, perhaps it's volatile nature didn't allow it to stay "forgotten" for too much time.

Mientras se pueda cambiar el final, estoy dispuesto a morir por él mil veces.

Yo creo que con decirles que esta novela la tenía organizada para leer en diez días y mágicamente se convirtieron en cuatro, ya he dicho suficiente. Siempre he dicho que mi género favorito es la ciencia ficción espacial-futurista que toque temas de viajes en el tiempo y dimensiones/líneas paralelas, y esta novela tiene absolutamente todo lo que me fascina.

Nos presentan un futuro donde existe una organización llamada Gestión del tiempo de Tianqiong, donde los trabajadores especializados se dedican a viajar a momentos específicos en el tiempo para evitar guerras o graves sucesos, o para registrar momentos relevantes en la historia: se les divide en Guardianes y Registradores respectivamente.

Ya este tipo de mundo me hace pensar en una serie que amo y que recomiendo enormemente llamada "Viajeros", está en Netflix y no tiene el reconocimiento que merece, pero les juro que si ven esa serie y leen esta novela sus vidas serán 350% mejor que antes. Además es como si mezclaras esa serie con la película de Interestellar, Oblivion, Solaris, Looper e Inception, sumándole un romance gay de lo más erótico y dulce, un desarrollo de la trama atrapante y si eres un soñador de ciencia ficción como yo, tu cerebro será estimulado por todos los escenarios que esta novela te presenta.

La construcción del mundo es una cosa que voy a aplaudir totalmente, cada escenario que te crea y los detalles al narrarlos tienen el equilibrio preciso para estimular la imaginación y al mismo tiempo no abrumarte sino que cautivarte, en muchos instantes me tomé el tiempo de releer escenas solo porque las descripciones e ideas en mi cabeza me hacían suspirar y emocionarme. Yo en lo particular adoro esos escenarios que no sé bien cómo definirlos más allá de compararlos con todas esas películas que nombré antes, a continuación les dejo el arte de una escena donde el cielo está cubierto por un océano y aparece una ballena, ¡solo de recordarlo se me eriza la piel!

De personaje nos presentan al protagonista Ji Yushi, un joven que padece de hipertimesia, una condición que le hace recordar cada detalle de su vida, incluso las cosas más insignificantes y aunque suena como un súper poder muy genial, trae graves consecuencias psicológicas y emocionales. Es abiertamente gay y un Registrador, pero a falta de un integrante en un grupo de Guardianes se le solicita la ayuda, sin embargo ellos son un grupo de homofóbicos que definitivamente no quieren la ayuda de Ji Yushi. Pero al final, terminarán rogando que por favor no se vaya del equipo. Ji Yushi es uno de los protagonistas más hermosos e impresionantes que he leído, su personalidad y pensamientos, la forma en que se va desencadenando a lo largo de la historia y vamos conociendo más de él es algo que me agita el pecho, si tuviese que describirlo como la mezcla perfecta de otros personajes diría que es como Fang Juexia (fanservice paradox) y An Zhe (little mushroom), es un personaje que te cautiva, encanta y hace doler tu corazón.

Después está el interés romántico, Song Qinglan, el líder del Escuadrón 7 y quien es el más homofóbico (con sus razones que entenderás a futuro), pero posee un fuerte sentido de compromiso con su equipo y un alma tan rebelde como confiada, que poco a poco irá creando un lazo y entendimiento tácito con nuestro protagonista y caerá igual que nosotros ante sus encantos. Un hombre tenaz y seguro, tan firme y confiable como una gran montaña que no se deja vencer o intimidar por el miedo, feroz y letal, pero al mismo tiempo con un lado cálido y preocupado, tierno. Leer a Song Qinglan es como escuchar una canción creada por Artic Monkeys y Lana del Rey. No solo es un personaje fascinante, sino que además posee un nivel de magnetismo y erotismo que te hace fantasear sin dificultades. Te eleva las expectativas a un punto inalcanzable (pequeño spoiler: compra comida especialmente para los hijos de Ji Yushi, es decir, sus gatos, eso lo hace 100% más atractivo y ardiente y dulce que cualquiera) y te prometo que suspirarás por él hasta el cansancio.

Ellos son en definitiva, mi Imperio Romano (junto a toda la novela en sí).

El avance de su relación lleva el ritmo preciso y adecuado, generándote la desesperación y emoción precisa, que al terminarla se siente como haber comido tu plato favorito hasta enguatarte y sentirte a punto de explotar.

Los personajes secundarios son algo que no se puede olvidar, cumpliendo unos roles importantísimos para el desarrollo y disfrute de esta historia. El Escuadrón 7 está formado por personajes entrañables y carismáticos, haciéndote reír y llorar a la vez, te enseñan no solo sobre compañerismo, sino que además de la amistad, confianza y familiaridad, el apoyo incondiscional y cariño que se tienen entre todos es algo que he visto en pocas novelas, y ver la forma en que va evolucionando respecto al protagonista es gratificante. Aquí se sienten vivos y participativos, generando vínculos y momentos que te pueden poner muy sensible.

No solo la escenografía es alucinante, sino que la trama es atrapante y cautivadora, llevándote a misiones y momentos que te harán explotar el cerebro, los giros de la trama y cómo poco a poco vas a ir conectando los cables hasta el final te tendrá expectante y emocionado. Tiene lo justo de pelea, misterio, tensión y romanticismo, mezclado con un toque futurista a otro nivel.

Sé que al decir todo esto parecerá exagerado, pero por esta novela estoy dispuesto a meter las manos al fuego y tirar toda la carne a la parrilla, mi mejor lectura del año y veo difícil que puedan quitarle el puesto en lo que queda. Tal vez no sea para todos, porque sé que los temas de espacio-tiempo puede ser complejo o exasperante, pero les prometo que si le dan la oportunidad no se arrepentirán y si son amantes como yo del tema, ¡será de lo mejor que hayan leído!

Y si tuviese que compararla con unas canciones, diría que es como escuchar Inamorata (moreux), Empathy (crystal castles) y Pure Imagination (superhuman).

Repetiré por segunda vez que MIST [unlimited] se volvió mi Imperio Romano y espero que la disfruten tanto como yo lo hice.

Le tomé un cariño particular y estoy seguro de que volveré a leerlo en un futuro próximo, no se sentirá como la primera vez pero sé que me seguirá generando nuevas y asombrosas sensaciones.

Hello, thank you very much for the ask!! I am very grateful. I wish you well, too. These are some pretty tough questions, so I'm just going to roll off by vibes.

Some of my responses may be a bit random lmao, Lancer Cu drives me into the very depths of the abyss, and leaves me questioning many things.

2. 2. A canon or headcanon hill I will die on

I will die on the hill that I think Lancer Cu is a little bit more emotionally distant than the external image he projects to the world. I agree with all the people who say he'd be the best ally ever, but I just have a feeling deep in my gut that despite this, he still gives me a vibe of being very 'far away'. I'm not sure how to word this. I am staking my soul on the hill that he can be both overly familiar and intimate at the same time as being hard to grasp onto. He reminds me a bit of the sea, endlessly flowing into horizon.

Er I don't know really, I guess I think what I'm saying is that he definitely does strike me as good company, just that I do have these strange feelings regarding him as well.

Also I don't think he's monogamous, myths aside- he really does seem like he's out to indulge in a variety of experiences with different people, to shoot the breeze for a fair moment until it ends. I don't think he settles down easily, even if he does give an impression of being able to quickly form relationships and ties with others.

14. Most heroic moment

OOF. This question is extremely difficult. Cu has many heroic moments, he slays so hard so often- that I feel kind of envious at times...taking on Gilgamesh for days, rescuing Rin/enacting vengeance upon Kirei, being a major key that helps Emiya to have more ease of access when taking on larger foes- he is a very nifty and handy guy in many situations. It was also very interesting seeing how his actions can even be dangerous for the general public at times, such as in Heaven's Feel (damn the exploding cars etc that was chaos!)

But one thing that has struck me deeply is his story mode in Fate/Unlimited Codes. This is just my personal feelings, but I felt choked up by the scene in which Lancer says he was willing to go to the extremes because 'there was a woman who believed in me'. The way he honors and carries Bazett's will until the very end, despite the horrendous bullshit his story arc takes him through; left a very strong impact on me. Even in death, he never forgot her. He carried her will, up until the very last moment.

To me, that's a truly heroic thing to do. To ensure that Bazett is remembered, even after her death. Lancer's way of honoring and covering for others' wishes and needs feels very heroic to me, but also deeply tragic.

23. If they were a scented candle, what would they smell like?

Gwah, this is another really difficult question! My instinct says sandalwood and pine. I'd also add in the ocean breeze. In this sense, I think my answer reflects what scents I associate with him, more than what he smells like (LMAOO CUZ THEY SAY HE HAS A BEAST-LIKE SCENT IN F/SN? WHAT DO BEASTS SMELL LIKE?!!!) To me, I also feel as if he smells like the sun when its rays shine upon a surface for a long time, but this is just indicative of my undying thirst for him.

I have a feeling Cu Chulainn may smell like the outdoors and of a metallic tang- like iron- and the smell of the game (guilty gear reference). But I doubt this would make for a nice candle...

In other words, I have no clue XD

44. Their happiest memory

Oof, this question is extremely difficult. To be honest, I am completely unsure what Cu Chulainn Lancer's happiest memory is. That is an extremely good question.

Is it memories of his loved ones? His childhood? Of the shooting star that birthed his prophecy? His boyhood deeds and early adventures? I am honestly unsure. I wish I could answer this. He does also seem to focus on the small joys of life, though. So I also wonder if his happiest memory could be something that I could possibly be overlooking.

If you or anyone else has any ideas on what the answer to this question may be, I'd love to hear it. To be honest, I would declare I don't know Lancer Cu's personality very well. And it took me like 8 years just to see past his surface by a tiny inch! So I've got a looong way to go when it comes to understanding him.

Thank you again for these asks. Whenever I think about Lancer Cu, I feel as if I'm being paddled along an epic journey, into seas that are both yet so unknown yet so profound.

Ohhh i've read a few! Sadly no baihe yet because i'm a victim of only consuming media with mostly male characters but i plan change that because i've been really meaning to read clear and muddy loss of love and/or female general and eldest princess since i've heard really good things about them

As for danmei, i've read (somewhat ordered from most to least favourite):

mist unlimited (REALLY REALLY RECOMMEND i wrote a whole post on why orv enjoyers should read it too!!)

little mushroom (top tier post-apocalyptic scifi, it won an award for best chinese science fiction novel one year too, which should tell you enough)

global examination (another good one i consider the holy trinity of scifi danmei, the overarching plot is brilliant + possibly one of the most romantic novels i've read yet)

sa ye (slice-of-life coming-of-age with plenty of family and relationship drama that at the same time manages to be super comforting and overall just feels really? warm? despite being really raw at times)

can ci pin (another scifi one, this one's a space opera on a really large galactic scale and spans several decades so it's really epic with a lot, i mean a lot, of political intrigue)

legend of exorcism (fun fantasy one with a great mix of actual historical references, which seems to be the author's signature style, although i haven't finished it yet because it's also relatively long)

silent reading (crime thriller!!!! really great mysteries and good action, although the ending felt a bit convoluted to me)

kaleidoscope of death (unlimited flow horror mystery adventure, it's a fun read but the ending kinda sucks and the character development is pretty non-existent, i recommend only if you want light entertainment to read with no thoughts head empty)

golden stage (historical drama, somehow everyone seems to love this but gun to my head i could not remember a single thing about it to tell you)

lord seventh (historical drama, also could not tell you a single thing about it except that i didn't even like it)

#i haven't finished can ci pin either because it's just so lonnggggg and arguably the political intrigue drags out a lot towards the end #and i'm not super interested in it anymore. but it's still really good #i haven't finished saye either because it got licensed by seven seas so the tl took down their links but i did read most of it

Back in the beginning, I actually considered keeping one of these guys around for the Master Crown to take its anger out on. Like, I feel like that's the only purpose they might serve in its present-day story; to give it a moment like "ugh, everything's going wrong and I feel bad about myself...oh look; it's one of those 'heroes' from before who's supposed to be dead! Maybe if I go over and red-mist them it'll cheer me up~"

^Which was a fun thought, admittedly. ^^ But it'd be a little mean, even for me, and later on I came up with the more unique concept of having Gooey be the 'torch-bearer' for that whole character set, and I liked that better. Verdict: Dream Land's heroes are all long dead.

Dedede, MK: Brutally murdered; possibly tortured beforehand. I think the MC would notice the power hierarchy between these two and Kirby pretty early on, and decide to use the easier opponents' suffering to wear down the tougher opponent. ...Of course, I think trying something like this with Kirby would backfire pretty hard. ^^; Nevertheless, we know who came out the winner in the end, so...

Bandana Dee: I'm throwing him in as an honorable mention because he's technically one of the four protagonists, and I wanted to make it clear that no (relatively...) horrific fate befell Bestest Boy in particular. ◡_◡ I've decided that the other three bought time for him to escape the final fight before things got really bad, and he just ended up in the normal soul-draining mind-prison with all the other minor characters.

Kirby: ...I'm not entirely sure. He's definitely not alive anymore...but is he actually dead...? I feel like...it would make sense for the Master Crown to turn him into something. ^^ Like a sort of magic energy source, or 'appliance', for lack of a better word. Although he was defeated, the special Kirb-power that he holds continues to flow from his remains, like a dead body that never stops bleeding... Of course this begs the question, what would the MC do with this strange unlimited power source? Something disrespectful, I think. ^^; Like it'd shove it in the back of its evil dimension wizard closet and only bring it out when one of its evil dimension wizard remotes runs out of battery power; something like that. XD

Although, deep down, maybe in the far reaches of its subconscious where Magolor's old feelings reside, I think it would want to keep 'Unknown Kirby Remnant' around as a memento. Because I've always felt that Kirb and Mago have a special friendship, which I'm sure must transcend time and space. ❤

Galacta Knight: Because RtDL predates the point where Morpho absorbed him, anything could have happened. Maybe the Master Crown's victory created a butterfly effect (heh) that completely changed GK's fate...

...My suggestion is that he ended up in Star Dream's custody. ^^ I mean, SD's already able to summon him in Robobot, so it feels right to me. Maybe during its expanded conquest it gained the necessary skills to contain him successfully this time around, and even to use him as a research subject. Picture this: Mecha-lacta Knight! Or...Giga-lacta Knight? Whatever; you get it~
